The Silent Treatment
Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Genre: It's a surprise
Warnings: A bit suggestive
Word count: 1429
Summary: You give Wanda the silent treatment after she betrays you
T/N: Malysh = baby (Thanks to @veronika-y for the list I always refer to 🖤)
A/N: I wanted to write something, so @cuinaminute229 gave me the prompt - "You can't break up with me. We're married." @mirrorballwn was there too and asked for Professor Wanda although I don't think this is what she had in mind lol
I hope you like this. Let me know what you think! 🙂
You hear the front door unlock from where you are, already in bed reading a book.
After college today Wanda went out for a meal with the other members from the faculty. You were glad she was out longer than usual not wanting to see her today.
'Sweet and innocent Professor Maximoff' is how she is known, if only her colleagues and students knew what she was really like. Maybe she wouldn't be such a favorite anymore.
You knew though. You saw past the pretty smile and soft voice. You knew what kind of person lay beneath. No one knows of her back stabbing ways.
A faint, 'honey, I'm home!' makes its way to your ears but you make no effort in responding. After what she has done, how can she believe everything is okay?
While she approaches you can hear her talk about her day. Stupid questions from students. Having to deal with Stark's bad jokes during dinner. Wanting to get home to see you because she hasn't all day.
The words of an evil person.
Last night, you were pretty sure you made it clear you were unhappy. She betrayed you and now she is acting like nothing happened.
You remain silent. You have nothing more to say after the events from the previous night.
Making her way around the bedroom she gets ready for bed, still droning on about the events that took place today.
She turns in your direction, seeing you busy with your book she walks over, planting a soft kiss on your head before making her way to the bathroom, "You're quiet today, malysh."
'Malysh.' How dare she. Despicable. It makes you sick to your stomach.
Even more so because you don't know how long it's been since you've turned a page of your book. The thoughts in your mind prevent you from concentrating on anything else, only Wanda's actions.
Wanda returns, placing her rings she had forgotten to take off, in front of the vanity mirror as she finishes her spiel of the day. When you don't look up to her once again with your usual smile she begins to worry because you haven't said a word to her since she has arrived home.
"Malysh..." She begins, "what's going on?"
Oh, so now she cares? You finally turn to Wanda with a hard look that takes her back slightly.
"I told you, we're broken up," you say monotonously, then turn your attention back to your book to continue 'reading'.
Wanda furrows her eyebrows, wondering what it was she could have done to make you act so cold towards her. Then it dawns on her.
Rolling her eyes, smiling to herself Wanda finishes rubbing in her moisturiser. Slowly, she makes her way over to you, climbing onto your lap, pulling the book out of your hands at the same time. You look the opposite way, annoyed, as she places it on the side table.
"Y/n-"
"Don't." You say, resolutely.
"This is still about last night? I said I was sorry," Wanda coos, trying to make eye contact but not forcing you to look her way.
"It was unforgivable, Wanda," you say and return to silence, crossing your arms.
Wanda lets out a sigh and instead of using words she scoots closer to you. Her attempt to kiss your cheek is intercepted by your hand.
"Baby," she whines, extending the word, "it's not that big of a deal."
You turn to Wanda with an incredulous look, "Not making someone pay rent is a clear rule violation!" You exasperate, "Everyone else made their partners pay, why did Nat get away with not making Maria pay? And then you took her side! It was the highest form of betrayal in my eyes."
She tries not to smile but it's so hard with how seriously you have been taking this.
"Stickler Steve was the only one on my side last night, so he's the only friend I have left as far as I'm concerned, and…" you make a fake look as if you are remembering something, "oh yeah, we're broken up."
Wanda doesn't bother hiding her smile now, the weekly game night with your friends always ends with a new story, this time it is centred around your competitiveness. "Well that's too bad. You can't break up with me, we're married," Wanda scoffs.
"So you do remember you're married to me and not to Nat and Maria. As my wife, you are supposed to take my side, it's in the contract," you make up. "I can't believe Tony took their side too," you finish with a scowl.
"Baby, I said I was sorry." When Wanda sees you are not making any attempt to say anything else, she realises she will have to take it up a notch. "Let me make it up to you," she says quickly then kisses you before you can even think. The taste of toothpaste and Wanda's lingering perfume overtake your senses. She presses harder into you, taking your breath away.
You pull your head back, hands on Wanda's shoulders to keep her away, "N- No. Y- You're not allowed to kiss me," you stutter, clearly affected.
"No?" she questions playfully in a low voice, moving forward against your hands. When her lips press against yours again you 'attempt' to push against her shoulders again but quickly crumble and get lost in the kiss.
As it progresses you roll over moving your kisses to her neck, a hand rising under her shirt making her moan. Wanda smiles when she sees where this is going, there is no way you are going to stop now.
Your will is only so strong when it comes to Wanda.
…
Your eyes are closed as Wanda lays on top of you, legs tangled together in the bed sheets. She threads her fingers through your hair, her warm body pressed against yours not helping you wanting to stay 'angry' at her.
"I'm still mad at you, you know," you sigh. Inwardly cursing yourself because you wanted your words to come out more seriously than they do.
Wanda hovers over you, moving her legs to either side of your waist, a position that is also not helping you school your features to be mad at her. You can feel the aftermath of your activities between her legs, her heat radiating on your stomach.
She gets you to look her straight in the eye by squashing your cheeks together and pulling you to look in her direction. "Y/n. I'm sorry," she says seriously, holding heavy eye contact, trying to stop a smirk from appearing on her face.
Cupping your cheeks with both hands after you look away dramatically, Wanda starts to place quick kisses all over your face saying "I'm sorry" after each one.
You let out an airy laugh, "Okay! Okay. I accept your apology."
Wanda smiles and pecks your lips. As you continue to speak she rests her weight fully on you leaning her chin against her hands now resting on your chest, "This doesn't mean I forgive you! You have to prove yourself on the next game night," you pout, running your fingers through her hair forcing her eyes to close.
Wanda hums, a cheeky smirk overtaking her face, "Do you still want to break up with me?" She asks, opening her eyes while biting her bottom lip, raising an eyebrow waiting for your response.
You pretend to think of your reply, "For now? No."
"For now, huh?" She says, placing her hands either side of your head hovering over you, "I guess I should make the most of you while I have you," she says huskily as she rolls her hips against you and she moves in to kiss you.
Once again she takes your breath away and you have no choice but to oblige, placing your hands on her hips.
When you pull away, Wanda rests her head against yours allowing you both to catch your breath.
Wanda is the best thing that has ever happened to you so you make sure she knows that. You move a hand to rub her cheek with your thumb, "I love you," you tell her as if the room is full of people and you are telling her a secret.
Once Wanda replies with her 'I love you' you bring her lips back to yours and show her in more ways than one, just how much you love her, the game night forgotten… until the next time you needed to remind her of her betrayal of course.
A/N: Did you think they were going to break up? April fools, I guess... Hehehe

[Veronika is sitting under a mistletoe and glaring at everyone who gets close to her]
Y/n:Hey vero-
[The moment she sees you she immediately pulls you closer to her and points at the mistletoe above you]
Veronika:oh my~ looks like we're under the mistletoe, I think you know what that means darling
Y/n:of course
[Veronika squeals, hugs you and kisses you passionately, you kiss her back and you stay like this for a while]
Y/n:that was as amazing as all of your kisses babe
Veronika:I'm glad you think so darling
[She continues peppering your face in kisses as everyone else watches annoyed wanting you two to get a room]
(Kinda inspired by this community post)

A/n:so I'm doing this small post today to announce that starting tomorrow I'm gonna do the holiday posts I've been working on. I hope you enjoy them and happy holidays!

Episode 13 was...something
I have to be real with you all: I don't think I liked this episode very much. And no, it has nothing to do with my theory. This is a lot more serious than that. But hey, we're actually moving forward with the plot, and there's a lot to discuss about this episode
Let's cover the big things in detail, shall we?
Levi the Moral Sociopath
So let's get this out of the way: yeah, I was probably wrong here. I thought maybe Arei had talked to Levi about his secret and they reached a mutual understanding, and that turns out not to have been the case. In ways that NOBODY predicted.
See, we were all under the impression that Levi had moral reasons to kill and that's why he holds "no remorse." Turns out that interpretation was meant literally; as in, Levi doesn't experience remorse. Or compassion. Or empathy.
From the way he describes it, it sounds like Levi has Antisocial Personality Disorder or something similar, something that impedes his sense of empathy. See, there's two types of empathy to consider: Cognitive Empathy and Affective Empathy.
Cognitive is where you can interpret the emotions of another, while Affective is the ability to share in emotional experiences with others. Low cognitive empathy is what autistic peeps (such as myself) experience, while low affective empathy is what one would associate with sociopaths. They recognize emotions in others and mimic them accordingly, but they're not able to share or really understand them.
Levi...seems to be lacking in both. He has trouble interpreting emotions and he admits he doesn't really feel anything when it comes to the others; their deaths might as well be the deaths of complete strangers on the other side of the world. He murdered three strangers and his own father, yet he barely remembers them because he's moved on since then.
But Levi is not an evil person. Quite to the contrary, he still believes in doing good and helping people, even if he has no emotional attachment to doing so, because it guarantees him a better and easier life than continuously being a delinquent. He may not really be able to feel compassion for others, but he'll still try and help protect them. That's such a rare presentation of a character with low empathy, especially compared to the more common stereotype that they're all serial killers, and I just think that's really neat.
Way more interesting than him being the volatile, crazed murderer so many believed he was.
2. Hu, Veronika and Nico
So while it was largely skimmed over, here's what I did get right: Hu is the one who's attempted suicide three times and Ronnie has engaged in self-harm in the past. The latter didn't share because she decided it would be more interesting to hold onto it, and also because she considers suicide a boring motivation. Concerning.
And as it turns out, we finally discussed the murder method and they managed to draw an important conclusion: Nico's attempted murder of Ace and our current murder do indeed have a connection. That entire scene wasn't just there to happen, I'm still willing to believe that it was due to David's influence and that was the first attempt.
Because, again, the last people we saw with David before the attempted murder were Nico and Hu. And then Nico tries to kill Ace. And then Arei apparently dies in the same method.
Does that mean Nico is the culprit no? No, probably not. As I've said many times, we have to consider that rule that the Blackened doesn't have to be the murderer, they have to be the "most mastermind-y." Nico also really doesn't seem to have any motivations, at least at this point in time. Levi seemed like he did, but as he explained it, it became clear he had even less reasons to do so than we thought. Nico already has very few reasons themself.
This isn't us zeroing in on the culprit, just moving the story along. And boy did we REALLY need that. Now time for the part where Mod complains.
3. The Wheel-Spinning Is Becoming A Real Problem
Now, one thing I've praised DT for in the past is how well it handles foreshadowing. Small details always come back, no matter how seemingly innocuous. It really gives the impression that everything in the story matters in some respect, which is what good stories should do.
...But we've only just NOW started discussing the murder plot, and it took only a couple minutes to say what many of us have been saying: they used the carousel the hang the victim and snap their neck using the trash and the rafters. We're on Episode 13 of this chapter. It took us 5 episodes and 17 months to get here.
That's what's made this trial and this chapter in general so frustrating to me, because most of our time hasn't been spent on what's relevant to the situation at hand. Most of it has been spent on tangents about secrets, or just pointless nonsense and comedy hijinks. And I get it, this is DR, that's to be expected. But at this point? We should have more information than we do, because we only have a handful of episodes to work with and so many things left unexplained.
I harped on the smaller details because time was devoted to them, attention was drawn to them, and I refused to believe they're going to be totally irrelevant to this chapter. Now I worry they are and I have to wonder why time was spent on them this chapter and not the one(s) where they'll actually matter.
There were so many tangents this chapter and so much time spent on discussing them, I want to believe we're building to something for the climax.
"You mean your theory, right?" You may ask.
And I have to be honest, the theory is barely on my mind at this point. My concern isn't just the many, many tangents that don't seem to add anything, but the direction DT seems to be heading.
4. What even was that scene with Arei?
I have...so many questions about David's flashback.
To immediately dispel the obvious question, no, he's not lying here. If we're allowed to see it, that means it's what actually happened. What Arei said in that scene was what really went down. And I'm not really happy about that.
Now, I'll admit, I had a very negative initial reaction to that scene. Arei confronts David about his secret, and it turns out...she's relieved that it's true. My initial reading of that scene was that she was giving up on being a good person because David being a liar has proven it's pointless. She then goes on to say that Eden's probably done something terrible as well, so there's really no such thing as a good person, and it really felt like a cynical, mean-spirited undermining to everything that came before.
But revisiting it, that's not really what happened. TA and Poi pointed out how, no, what she really seems to be saying by "there's no such thing as a good person" is there's no one who's just naturally morally upstanding. And that it's okay, because it means she's not too far gone.
What came off as her giving up really seems to be more of her deciding not to live by some arbitrary standard about who isn't and isn't a good person, because everyone's probably done something they really regret. Her saying Eden's probably done something terrible isn't dismissing all her good efforts, since she still considers her a friend. It's her accepting that labels like "good person" are meaningless, and that it shouldn't stop you from trying to be better.
And she extends a hand to David, hoping that maybe both of them can be better in the future.
And David...doesn't share a word of this with anyone, especially not Eden. That means that scene only exists for the audience's benefit. We're meant to consider what she said for whatever reason, and while my initial interpretation wasn't wrong, I do have concerns about that.
First of all, while this could still work with my theory, this is probably the biggest factor that changes things. At this point, I'm willing to accept there's an 80% chance I'm wrong. The problem is, theory or not, I worry what exactly showing us that scene is meant to suggest. Why did we as the audience need to see it for dramatic irony purposes?
There are only three interpretations that really come to mind, and I have to say, I'm not fond of two of them:
My theory is correct and this is all part of Arei's 4000 IQ play.
My theory is wrong and that scene only exists to twist the knife for our sake, especially if David is the Blackened.
My theory is wrong, David is the rival, and that scene exists to facilitate his future character development.
And that last one is fridging. Like, it's blatant fridging, where a (frankly more interesting) female character dies in order to spur development in a dude. I'm going to be genuinely pissed if that happens, because it renders her entire character arc this chapter pointless and ends it in such poor taste. It's also a very dumb course of action because why would you ever say all this to someone you know is a MANIPULATOR WHO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE?!
The second one is just poor writing, where it's only there to hurt the audience a little bit more. It's unnecessary and ends things on such a pointlessly bittersweet note. But I'll take that over option 3, because I genuinely don't give a shit about David and I really don't want Arei's death only happen to focus on him more. He doesn't want to change, he believes it's better to sacrifice everyone's lives for some cause he refuses to disclose.
And at this point, I'm pretty sure I'm wrong. Whatever, I expected to be wrong anyway, but that's hardly my biggest concern.
My biggest concern is that DT is resorting to genuinely bad writing decisions and it's going to have a lasting negative effect on the story. I don't understand what other interpretations there could be with that scene, and I really don't like the possibilities we do have. Everything I point to as a basis for my theory could end up being completely pointless to the story, and I have to ask what the point was.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm reading all this in bad faith and something else will happen, and we'll spend the remaining episodes discussing everything I've brought up in detail. I've been burned a lot by stories I've enjoyed going in very poor directions and characters I got invested in bore the brunt of it. Regardless of my theory being true or not, I don't want the same to happen to DT.
And I can see reasons why I may be wrong here: David only really gives a damn about Xander, for instance, and we've yet to really discuss the hows and whys of the murder. And I still wonder why J has been getting so much focus when she was barely in Daily Life.
Overall, while I got really negative here, I hope next proves me wrong and things head in a new direction.
#mod talks#a student out of time#drdt#danganronpa despair time#I got really negative in this one#But I still enjoy DT#I hope you can at least understand the issues I have#And maybe this will all turn out to be nothing anyway

A Wall Dogs World
Prompt: Soulmate Au, where you have a streak of your hair matching your soulmates. (this includes when you dye the hair) (if you have dirty blonde hair I'm sorry lol)
Summary: In which Kid Danger finds his soulmate in a rough wall dog. Will she give up her status on the team for her soulmate or will her soulmate force her away from him in an attempt to keep his identity hidden.
P.S. in this one Veronika is just a friend of y/n instead of being the love interest obviously
Warnings: she/her pronouns, bad flirting bc I can't flirt for shit 😂, probably some cussing, may some spelling errors, kissing
Why'd it get so long 😭
Angst, fluff
Kid Dangers point of view:
The plan was going as Captain Man and Kid Danger had planned, that was until Henry had to shoot the tracking device to "prove" he was not with Captain Man anymore. But Jasper had proved to be a worthy substitute.
The Wall Dogs had brung him to the Old Maple Grill to meet Van Del so Kid Danger could become a permanent member.
Henry was so nervous while walking to the hide out he was twirling his soulmates hair out of pure habit. He hoped that they could feel him twirling it but no one he knows has met their soulmate, only settled for someone "good enough". It was almost impossible to find your soulmate seeing as there are 8 billion people on earth. Most people gave up on it.
He walked in to see a girl punching the boxing bag in the corner of the room. Van Del was sitting in the corner of the room near a big pot of paint he seemed to be mixing.
After hearing Van Del yell out who was here the girl immediately turned to the group. I then got a good look at her, she had beautiful hair but what really caught my attention was the streak of dirty blonde in her hair. That same color in her hair matched the one streak in my own.
I was distracted the entire time Van Del was speaking until he said something to the girl. "Y/n get over here and show Mr. Danger around." He said gesturing towards me.
Y/n pov:
I wasn't allowed on this mission, something about needing to be less risky or whatever. I hear Veronika yell to my dad about who they found? What was she on about?
I look over and freeze for about 2 seconds. It's Kid Danger, holy shit. He's even hotter in person. Wait why is he here? Shouldn't he be arresting us? We lock eyes and that's when I see it. The very obvious streak of soulmate hair. It looks like mine, wait but that can't be anyone can have the same color hair as me... right?
My dad tells me to show him around and my heart skips a beat. I walk over to him masking my anxiety. "Hey kiddo, follow me." I say teasingly, I have to keep my friends entertained and act tough. If they ever found I liked him I would never live it down.
Kid Danger just stares at me like I've given him 90 kittens. Why is he staring at me like that fuck that's attractive. "You're beautiful." If anything that was the one thing I never thought I would hear from Kid Danger. All my friends burst into laughs with Veronika pushing me closer to him.
I didn't wanna look like I was embarrassed by his comment so I cocky replied "I could listen to you complimenting me all day, if you'd like to continue pretty boy." The surrounding area filled with oooo's and woah's along with some laughs. Mostly coming from the boys of the group, t-paint, two canz, and some others. At his Kid Danger blushed. Omg he blushed I can't believe he's blushing. "Follow me." I say putting my hand under his chin slowly pulling him towards me.
----------------------------------------------------
Henry's pov:
She's beautiful, I can't do this, I don't wanna go through with it! She's my soulmate but she's a criminal even if they refuse to call themselves criminals they still are. She's supposed to be my enemy. Maybe maybe it's not true. Maybe it's a coincidence. Oh what am I kidding she's the one, my one. I can feel it. Oh this is bad this is really bad.
After she shows me around she brings me back to Van Del. He says that I need to prove I belong here. "What do you mean? Prove I belong?" I ask suspiciously. "You have to get the mark of the Wall Dogs." y/n says like it was obvious.
y/n pov:
My dad does the test with the melon showing how it will sear into his flesh, and the kid gets a little squirmy. "Now hold out your arm." "Wait can't I just do that to a melon or something?" He's starting to sound panicked now. "What about if I swear on a bible or something."
Just then part of Captain Man busts through the door. "Kid Danger, prove your loyalty to us!" Van Del yells at Kid Danger but the only emotion I see written on his face is... relief. I knew it was too good to be true that I would find my soulmate and he'd be ok with my forced lifestyle. "I only have one thing to say to you!" Kid Danger yells to Captain Man but then he bursts into a smile, "I am sooo happy you're here!" he says running over to his partner. He then explains his entire plan to trick us and they start trying to arrest us.
"Shit" I say trying to make a run for it with Veronika. Kid Danger blocks the exit and our only way out. Veronika turns around to look for another exit and instead joins in the fight with the other Wall Dogs leaving me and my soulmate alone. "Just let me go please." I plead with the superhero. He sighs and looks at the ceiling. "What are you doing?" I ask because he looks stupid just staring at the ceiling instead of answering my damn question. "I really hope you don't escape while I look at this super cool ceiling." He says. I get the hint and run past him, only to turn around and kiss his cheek and whisper to him to meet me by the Hollywood sign before making my escape.
----------------------------------------------------
I turn around when I hear footsteps. "Hey it's me." Kid Danger says trying to not get hit for sneaking up on me. "So why'd you let me go?" "Because you're obviously my soulmate." He says touching his soulmate's hair color. "Could be a coincidence." I say sitting down on one of the big rocks. "Wanna test that theory?" "How?" "Like this." He says before leaning in and kissing me.
It was pure magic and you could even feel it in the air. There was absolutely no way we were not soulmates from the way it felt. It was so, right.
Sincerely, Coraline Jones 🐈⬛

A lot of things I got dragged into sploon, no matter how I enjoying Salmon run (because teamwork and fun day)
So I decided to draw the content
Here's line up agent in my design looks-
Just for the toon style looks, so here's a hcs for each agents:
(Long words)
Trapper, 22 y/o [Species: Octoling??]
Trapper is not just an octoling, he was used to be one of the Kamabo experiment no.5150. Because he was saved by her adoptive mother, Ellie, he always have to hide his identity in the event of Splatoon 1. He doesn't know much about Dj Octavio and the Octarians clan, but he seems interested until the event of Splatoon 3. He doesn't talk, but he can use sign language (it's a sign that he's mute as always and it's because his voice is very likely to human languages and has no bubble effects in it like the other octolings. He's not an only child he was raised by her own mother, he has a sister, Veronika. He doesn't trust the Kamabo or Commander Tartar. He has a strong relationship with Four, but now he miss her (since they became separated and getting worried about her). And also, he's a gardener.
Veronika, 14(splat 3) - 16(now) y/o [Inkling]
She's a little feral and always care for his older brother. Never been join Grizzco industries because her little salmon buddy is afraid of the boss himself. She's a huge fan of Pearl from the Off the Hook. She interested any type of weapons and a mechanic engineer. Being forced to washed herself, since she's smell like fishes belongs in the sea. She's also a best friend of Murch. If you mess with Trapper, you mess with her (she'll forced you to drop yourself in the sea as an threat or eats gross food).
Agent/Captain 3 [No name], 21 y/o [Inkling]
Has slowly lost their original name and gender. Became tired and depressed because of the Octo expansion event, but still smiles when think about the past what they used to. They like Naomi as a close friend. rarely talks and type of introvert person. Doesn't want to talk about Deepsea Metro (they have PTSD). They can rap since they known as DJ Sango. Get along with the Squid sisters, even they stay as their part of the family. Always support other Agents no matter what and only the mysterious agent among others.
Surume/Four, 23 y/o [Inkling]
A great agent who always very positive and an extrovert person. She always like Trapper, who are very close to her (both always think about each other since they were separated from different city). She was busy due to an extracurricular, and a roommates with Hachi and Naomi. Four really care about Trapper's feeling for her if he's not in a good mood. She loves biology to know about sea creatures and even mammals, including plants. She's shorter than other agents.
Hachi/Eight, 21 y/o [Octoling]
An agent who is only one was escaped from the Deepsea Metro with his sister, Naomi. He doesn't get recover his traumatic experience back there, but always finds a way to avoid it. Kind to anyone, likes other agents. He doesn't know about Trapper, but he interested to meet him. Confidence to find answers. He's afraid of C.Q Cumber. When he's stares at you, it can tell he looks like a little puppy. He and Naomi lives with the Off the Hook as like their parent figure. Always protect his sister.
Naomi/Eight, 19 y/o [Octoling]
She's a bit shy and a fan of the Squid sisters after the effects of the Calamari Inkatation. She likes Cap 3 about their skills and being cool. She's barely talks, but always needs a help from her brother. She kinda loves the beautiful view around the new city or places she wants to travel. She's having a fear of Blender and being lonely without her brother or someone. She likes doing art and doodles on her sketch she bought in the surface. She always sticks with her brother since she doesn't want to get separated. And a friend of Four.
Welp that's all the hcs I have for my agents. Most of them are similar the canon splatoon facts. And here's the base of the body type looks
And bonus for Trapper in agent outfit:
#tdh's art#splatoon#splatoon 2#splatoon 3#splatoon agents#agent 3#captain 3#neo agent 3#new agent 3#agent 4#agent 8#trapper#splatoon oc#trapper has different outfit if curious why; because the previous one doesn't suit him or he's big and can't zip it then it got ripped

Wait what’s the tea about slaf and his hooking up history?//
In his rookie year he dated a different bar girl (worked at Flyjin and Palma at the time) called Charlie. She's 10 years older than him. They dated for a few months right after he joined the team and broke up when he went back to Slovakia at the end of the season amid cheating accusations from her.
He also dated a girl called Veronika who is a Czech influencer and dancer either that summer or the summer before. I can't remember exactly. It didn't work out and she posted a tiktok where she was crying about him and it went viral and she still talks a lot to CZ/SK media about how she's not using him and their history for attention.
There was also another Czech influencer he was linked to but I can't remember her name. She was very fake (kinda p*rnstar-y) looking. Big fake boobs, butt, tons of make up and fillers. Looked quite a bit older than him too.
At least Angelie is closer to his age, I guess.

So I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I wanna talk about the David MV.
I finally decided to watch that nearly three hour video on the Literature Girl Insane MV, (by @/1moreff-creator) and HOLY SHIT IT’S SO GOOD. I wish I watched it sooner and wonder why I didn’t, I watch almost exclusively 1+ hour videos about random topics I know nothing about, and now there’s one for something I care a lot about! Why didn’t I watch immediately?!?
But my lapse in sanity aside, it finally got me motivated enough to talk about the David MV!
…Except only the part about Ace because of course that’s all I want to talk about. 9 out of 10 of my posts are either about him or have him involved somehow.
Anyways! Here’s the part I find very interesting!

This is arguably where Ace is most relevant, and therefore it makes sense I want to talk about it today.
Now, first things first, the Roman numeral. V (five) is Ace’s Roman numeral, as assigned by the crossword. The line attached is:
“Right now, why do you go insane?”
Which definitely fits. Ace could easily be framed as going insane, because he has mental breakdowns at a worryingly high frequency. Him and Veronika (who this might also be referring to if color theory is to be believed) are basically assigned the role of being seen as mentally unhinged within the class.
(…Ever think about how weird it is that the title is Literature Girl Insane, implying the star of the MV, David, is going insane, yet Ace is the one getting called insane, possibly by David? I think that’s interesting. But let’s get back on track.)
As established by other Roman numerals, the words in the background when a numeral shows itself also apply the character attached to said numeral. This is most obviously shown in the line near the top of the photo.
“A cat has 9 additional lives”
This is also easily applicable to Ace, since he survived Nico’s murder attempt against all odds. If Eden and Teruko hadn’t just so happened to be on the 2nd floor and walked into the gym when they did, he would’ve died. While the actual methodology of Nico’s murder attempt is unknown, it’s also possible that him even surviving long enough for Teruko and Eden to find them was a miracle. Either way, it fits.
The last quote on-screen intrigues me the most. It’s a quote from Hamlet.
“I am but mad north-northwest. When the wind is southerly, I know a hawk from a hand saw.”
Now, first let’s look at just those words, without further context. It’s important we know what the words themselves mean before we do anything else. Let’s start with the definition of north-northwest, since that word is pretty important to the quote.
I’m sure most are familiar with north, east, south, and west. The four main directions on a compass. As well as Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and Northwest. That splits the compass into eight directions, splitting the sections of north, east, south, and west in half.
Similarly, north-northwest is a direction that comes from splitting the compass into sixteen parts. It’s the half of the northwest section that’s closer to north.
Next, what the hell does “I know a hawk from a handsaw” mean? It’s almost half the quote, so it’s important we know.
Well…*extremely loud sigh* Shakespeare, as you know, was alive a very long time ago. As such, he writes in old-time-y English that’s hard to understand. And this quote has the misfortune of being something people argue over the translation of, at least as far as I could tell while researching.
Some people think Shakespeare meant a heronsaw, a type of bird, not a handsaw. Others think that no, he meant handsaw, but heron, in his time period, was also a common word for a tool that holds plaster/mortar/etc..
Either way, Shakespeare was probably referring to two types of birds, or two types of tools, which have key differences from one and other. I don’t think which one the DRDTdev thought was right really matters in this instance, since the quote makes sense either way. 15/16s of the time, Hamlet (the speaker of the quote) is sane and can tell two birds/tools apart.
The quote is, in summary, saying that Hamlet is mad only when it’s north-northwest, aka 1/16th of the time (I’m not sure if that somehow connects to there being 16 participants in the killing game, but I’m going to assume it doesn’t). The other 15/16s of the time, Hamlet is perfectly sane, thank you very much.
So, without context, this quote is saying that Ace is only insane 1/16th of the time. The rest of the time he’s sane.
Next, I think another important thing we have to do is take into account the whole screenshot as a whole. By that I mean we should not only look at each line individually, but how they relate to each other. In bold is the “why do you go insane?” Line, and to the left, in a font that blends more into the background, is the Hamlet line.
There is a contradiction of opinions here. One person says, “Why do you go insane?” while the other insists they’re only a little bit insane.
This could be referring to the opinions of David and Ace. After all, one could argue it was David underestimating Ace that led to his secret being revealed. David doesn’t bother being careful around Ace in the trial, despite Ace’s volatile nature. He piles suspicion onto Ace by saying it’s weird he didn’t see him on the second floor the night before the murder, even though it isn’t. After all:

Ace was in the gym. David was in the relaxation room. Those are on opposite sides of the floor, so of course David wouldn’t have seen Ace. He didn’t even have to walk anywhere close to the room Ace was in. But David saying this information like it’s weird and suspicious makes everyone else think it is.
David thinks: But what’s Ace gonna do about it? Somehow get the whole class on his side, even though almost everyone likes me more? Is everyone really going to trust the mentally unstable (one could say insane), dumb, cowardly jockey over me?
Yes, yes they will.
All this is to say, David, in the grand scheme of things, doesn’t really care about Ace throughout chapter two. He steals Nico’s secret from him, antagonizes him in the trial, and doesn’t care. Ace doesn’t matter. Ace, of all people, can’t be the one to ruin him. So who cares if Ace dislikes him? Ace is of no use to David, and Ace certainly isn’t smart enough to figure out David’s scheme. This is what David believes.
However, this leads to him not taking Ace’s volatile nature seriously enough, believing he is above the harm of someone like him. But hey, even a pawn can play a vital part in checkmating a king.
When David pisses off Ace, believing Ace can’t do anything besides get angry, yell, and make himself look more suspicious…That turns out to be a crucial mistake that ruins everything.
…Y’know, the irony of the class idiot being the one to beat the so-called master manipulator will never not be funny to me.
Anyways, we can sort of apply this to Hamlet, too. If Ace is Hamlet, since this is Hamlet’s line, and David is Claudius, his father-in-law, we do have a pretty good parallel.
Claudius, who secretly killed Hamlet’s father and then took his throne, is secretly not as righteous as he seems. However, Hamlet finds out about Claudius being the one who killed his father and seeks revenge. Claudius thinks Hamlet to be mad, but when Claudius isn’t around, Hamlet says, “But my uncle-father (Claudius) [is] deceived. I am but mad north-northwest. When the wind is southerly, I know a hawk from a hand saw.” Eventually, Hamlet kills Claudius. So in DRDT terms, Ace finds out about David’s manipulation, David is unaware of this, and Ace eventually kills David’s public persona. Obviously this is an extreme simplification of the plot, but still.
…Of course, there’s also a chance this contradiction of opinions isn’t about Ace and David specifically. After all, David isn’t the only one to boil Ace down to his core traits of “dumb, angry, overall not a well-adjusted individual”. The whole class does this, at least for the most part. This Hamlet quote could just be trying to say what Ace has been saying. That everyone sees him as a loudmouth, stupid, cowardly and nothing more, when in reality there’s more to him than that.
I might have gone a little overboard with this part…I got excited…Hopefully this all actually makes sense, I had to revise some of this post because it got ramble-y and overall pretty cluttered.
So yeah. Here’s my (very late) contribution to the David MV discussion. Here’s what I think Ace’s part means. If you want me to elaborate anywhere, feel free to tell me, or if you want to tell me your thoughts, I’d love to see that!
#danganronpa despair time#drdt#drdt spoilers#david chiem#ace markey#David MV#fun fact: i was originally going to make a post about how maybe ace could be the red in color theory#…before realizing HOW MUCH RED THERE IS#not so sure i could justify him being that prominent even if he did play a major part in david’s reveal

Henry Danger Reader Insert | Captain Man x Reader: SEASON 1
Episode 25: Henry & the Bad Girl, Part 2
~Big Putts Golf Course~
The Wall Dogs had returned to Swellview's best golf course to finish what they had tried to start the previous night. With no Captain Man or Kid Danger in sight, they rapidly got to work in tagging and defacing the windmill.
"Hey. Hey. Hey, check this out." One of them caught the attention of the others as they noticed Veronika returning to the group, only she wasn't alone. She had Kid Danger by her side.
"Surprise" She smirked at her gang, who scowled as Henry nervously shuffled behind her. 'Just stick to the plan.' He repeated in his head, trying to calm his racing heartbeat.
"Hello, everyone." He waved at the criminals, but they just looked at the two teens in irritated confusion.
"Wait, what?" They all asked, wondering why their teammate would bring the enemy to them.
"so, uh..." Henry looked at Veronika for reassurance.
"Oh, that's T-Paint, Two Canz, Beonspray..." She started to name all of her friends, which stressed them out big time.
"Veronika!" A boy scolded her.
"What?" The girl replied in an annoyed tone. She didn't like it when she was interrupted.
"He's Captain Man's budge." The dude said, and the Wall Dogs angrily pointed at the teen superhero.
"Hey! I'm a lot more than Captain Man's budge! For example, I'm good at tennis, I make excellent tacos." Henry told them, offended that they just saw him as an extension of his boss.
"What if he tells Captain Man where we are?" The boy from before interrogated, glancing at Kid Danger with distrust.
"He won't. I just watched him fight Captain Man and push him down a mountain. I'd be in jail right now if it wasn't for him." Veronika explained, trying to convince her friends that Henry no longer had any allegiance to Ray.
"So, what are you saying now? You're not Captain Man's budge anymore?" The guy asked, still not accepting that the sidekick would betray Swellview's favourite crime fighter.
"Nope. I think it's awesome how you guys go around, painting stuff like that all over the city." The kid smiled, hoping that he sounded sincere enough that Veronika and her Wall Dog chums would believe him.
"Wait! You seriously gonna let Wonder Boy roll with us?" A girl in a glittery mask piped up.
"I don't know." The boy answered, looking between Henry and Veronika with misapprehension.
"He's my friend. You don't tell me what to do." Veronika stood up to the boy, trying to be assertive and confident.
"No. But Van Del does. Call him." He replied and a Wall Dog took out his cell so they could speak to their leader. This was the start of Henry's plan to worm his way into the heart of the Wall Dog's lair. However, the wall dog who made the phone call wasn't particularly bright, and he rang the boy who gave the order. Ah, jeez, this was going to be harder than he thought.
~The Man-Cave~
Charlotte made her way down from Junk-N-Stuff, having received a notification up in the store that Ray had returned. However, what she was greeted with as she stepped out of the elevator, told her that mission hadn't gone smoothly.
Firstly, Henry was nowhere in sight, which made nerves settle in her stomach as she got the impression that something was wrong. (y/n) was crying, Ray was filthy and the way the woman had her head in her hands with Ray cradling her shaking frame made her pale as she tentatively walked over to them.
"How'd it go?" She asked the adults timidly, causing Ray to sigh and (y/n) to look at her with bloodshot eyes. Did she dare tell the girl that her best friend had betrayed them for a stupid gang of miscreants?
"Not great." She whispered hoarsely, wiping her eyes quickly and drying her face in an attempt to pull herself together so Charlotte didn't have to see her cry. The girl didn't need to see her problems.
"Well, what happened? And why are you all dirty?" Charlotte asked, as (y/n) went over to the computer so she could make herself useful. Work was always the best distraction for when her heart was aching.
"'Cause I just went tumbling down a giant mountain, and a mountain is basically one big pile of dirt in the shape of a mountain." Ray answered, trying to keep his voice low so his best friend wouldn't get more upset. He'd already put her through even, he didn't want to make things worse. The large man put a warm hand on (y/n)'s shoulder as she began to track Henry's location. When she got her hands on the good-for-nothing, lying little shit, she'd...probably burst into tears at how hurt she was.
"We've gotta locate Henry." Ray whispered in her ear, his dulcet tone relaxing her into the chair so she could be nearer to his body.
"I'm on it. Schwoz!" The woman yelled, but her voice was still a little strained from her emotion.
"SCHWOZ!!!!" Charlotte bellowed, helping out her friend with her powerful voice.
"Thanks for that." She said to both the girl and Ray, who had covered her ears to stop her from jumping at the deafening noise.
"What? What?" A half-naked Schwoz shouted as he came out from the back of the Man Cave, draped only with a pink towel around his waist and shoulders. He was dripping wet and covered in suds, so it took no genius to work out where he had been.
"I was in the shower." The man whined, goosebumps rising on his body as the cold air of the main room stung his wet skin.
"Come help us locate Henry," Ray instructed him, making the small man waddle over, his bare feet slapping on the marble floors.
"Why, what happened?" Schwoz asked, wondering why they'd need to find the boy when they could just call him.
"Ray put the secret tracking device on him, but it's not finding the location." (y/n) told him, standing up so her friend could sit down.
"It's okay, I fix," Schwoz reassured her, ensuring that he didn't knock her confidence. She was clever, brilliant in fact, but she was often so unsure of herself that she questioned her intelligence and capability. The woman stood next to Ray, who was perfectly happy to let Schwoz take over, after all, it meant that he could put his arm around her and pull her into his side.
"Oh, sweet cheese." The girls and Ray gagged as they saw Schwoz's back hair, causing the three of them to step back.
"So, where is he?" The man asked the genius as the signal began to triangulate on Henry's location.
"It takes time to triangulate his location." Schwoz snapped, (y/n) resting her head on Ray's pec. A strange noise came from the shower, which confused everyone because it sounded just like a pig. WHat had Schwoz been doing in there?
A soapy pig ran out from the shower, making Ray, Charlotte and (y/n) look at it in shock.
"I'll be there in a minute!" Schwoz told the pig, which seemed to satisfy the pig into returning to the back of the Man Cave.
"You were in the shower with your pig?" Charlotte asked him incredulously.
"She has to get clean too." The little man told her, not seeing how (y/n) stared at him with an annoyed expression. A goddamn pig in the showers that she had to clean? Oh, hell no.
"Yeah, she gets clean outside where I don't have to mop down any pig gunge." She hissed, now knowing why Schwoz's shower always smelt funny.
"She has no gunge." He whined, thinking that his pig was perfect and pristine.
"Get that pig out of that shower or we'll be having sausages for dinner tomorrow." (y/n)smiled at him sweetly, but her words scared the living daylights out of Schwoz, resulting in him slipping and sliding across the floor so he could get his pig out of her way.
~Van Del's layer~
The crazed criminal, Van Del, was busying shooting paintballs at several pinups of Captain Man, his sworn enemy.
"Van Del?" A nervous minion asked him, not wanting to upset his boss by rudely interrupting him.
"I'm busy painting." The 'artist' groaned, firing at a photo and landing a scarlet splatter right on Captain Man's nose.
"But Spray-Z wants to talk to you." The boy told him, making Van Del sigh and point his paint gun at him.
"Give me the phone, now go stir the paint before I throw you into it." He groaned, making the minion dash off to a large vat of bubbling red paint.
"Talk." Van Del said into the phone, resuming his assault on another pic of Ray.
"Kid Danger's here." One of the Wall Dogs at the golf course reported, piquing his boss's interest.
"Put him on the phone." Van Del ordered, adamant that he should get to talk to the superhero.
"Van Del?" Henry asked, pleasing the criminal exponentially. It wasn't often he got to converse with his enemy's sidekick.
"Kid Danger. I hear your boss wants me in prison." He seethed into his cell, firing at Captain Man's portrait again.
"Well...maybe Captain Man's not my boss anymore." Henry told him, intriguing the Wall Dogs around him and their leader on the other end of the line.
"Interesting. Put Spray-Z on the phone." He ordered the boy, sitting up straighter in his chair.
"It's me," Spray-Z answered after a small kerfuffle over Henry not knowing which Wall Dog was which.
"Did you search Kid Danger?" Van Del interrogated his minion.
"Search him for what?" Spray-Z replied, not being the smartest Wall Dog in the gang.
"Oh, I don't know, meatballs and bikini tops?" His boss said sarcastically, but the dumb kid couldn't read between the lines to see that he was joking. He gave the order, endlessly irritating Van Del.
"Spray Z. Spray-Z!" He yelled down the phone.
"What's up?" The boy asked, wondering what the man wanted now.
"Search him for weapons, recording devices, things like that." The criminal spelt it out plainly so the goon would get the picture.
"Ah, right, right." Spray-Z hit the side of his head, trying to get his head in the game.
"And, use the wand." Van Del added, so the gang did as they were told. Seizing Henry, Veronika waved a hand-held metal detector over his costume, looking for anything that could be used against them. Coming to his utility belt, the wand turned from green to red, indicating that Henry had something...suspicious on him.
"What you got in there?" Two Canz asked him, to which Henry looked at her cooly.
"Nothing but rock hard abs." He sassed her, but the girl wasn't in the mood for games.
"Check his belt buckle." She ordered the guy holding him, so he fiddled around with the metal buckle until he found a blinking microchip thing.
"I swear I didn't know that was in there." He stuttered, hoping that they'd buy it. Snatching the tiny device from the dude's fingers, Two-Canz studied it closely.
"It's a tracking device!" She hissed.
"Captain Man must've put it there! That jerk!" He lied, desperately praying that the plan hadn't just majorly backfired.
~Back in the Man Cave~
Schwoz had scurried back to his seat after moving the pig from the shower and was now trying to secure a fix on Henry.
"Why can't you find Henry?" Charlotte questioned him, as Ray paced back and forth nervously. Had he been found out? Had their plan failed? Had the Wall Dogs done something to him?
"I told you it takes time!" Schwoz reiterated his point from earlier, frustrating Ray.
"Time is the one thing we don't have." The large man growled, leaning over (y/n) as she crouched down to help Schwoz.
"Well, time and machines that poop gold, we also don't have gold." (y/n) joked to slice through the tension that was rapidly building.
~Big Putts Golf Course~
"All right, if you really didn't know about this tracking device, then bust it up." A Wall Dog instructed Henry, wanting to see the kid break his final tie to Captain Man. Veronika passed him a hammer as Henry internally cursed what he was about to do.
"Okay. But I don't need this." He told the guy, chucking the hammer into Spray-Z's stomach.
"Check this out." He said to the group, throwing the tracking device upwards and shooting it midair with his laser remote. A shower of sparks rained down on the Wall Dogs' heads and Henry prayed that his friends back in the Man Cave were able to pinpoint his location before the signal went dead.
~The Man Cave~
Everyone looked at the screen in horror as it flashed a 'no signal' message.
"What happened?" Ray exclaimed, fear swelling in his chest.
"We lost Henry's signal." (y/n) breathed, she and Schwoz trying to find it again, but it was pointless. You can't find what doesn't exist. Ray and Charlotte put their hands on their heads in defeat; what were they gonna do now?
~Back at the Golf Course~
"Now, give us your little laser toy." Spray-Z told Henry, who was reluctant to give up his last line of defence.
"But this kind of belongs to Captain Man, and I don't think I---" He tried to excuse, but Veronika didn't like his hesitation.
"Who's side are you on? The Wall Dogs' or Captain Man's?" She asked him, getting Henry to choose between maintaining his lie or keeping himself safe as Ray told him to.
"Yours." He cemented, passing the laser remote into the boy's hand, proving his loyalty.
"Cool." It wasn't a good idea to give Spray-Z a weapon, but oh, well.
"Okay, you guys finish working on the windmill. I'm going to work on Kid Danger," Veronika smirked at him, shaking a tin of black spray paint.
"What are you gonna do?" Henry asked her, internally panicking at what (y/n) would say when she saw the mess on his uniform. She'd have to spend hours on the costume to get the paint off and he guessed that he was already in her bad books since she didn't know about his and Ray's plan to infiltrate the Wall Dogs' lair.
"You'll see." She smiled, pushing him into the corner of the course so she could start painting.
"Hey, how's this thing work?" Spray-Z asked, pointing Henry's laser remote directly into his eye.
"Be careful with that or else you might---"Henry's warning came a little too late as the dumb kid shot himself in the eye, causing him to clutch it in pain. Accidents always happen to stupid people.
~15 minutes later~
The Wall Dogs were still working on the windmill, but Veronika had finished painting over the vibrant red and blue hues of Henry's costume.
"Okay, everybody! Check out the new Kid Danger!" She called out to her friends, showing off how she'd turned his tunic black and had created a swirling pattern on his pants and boots.
"Aw, yeah. That is dope." The gang admired her art, liking how the teen superhero looked like one of them now.
"How does it feel?" Veronika smirked.
"Feels baaaad." Henry twisted his catchphrase to fit his new persona, even though the paint made him feel very sticky.
"Van Del's going to love it." The girl said, the others agreeing with her. Perfect, everything was going according to the plan.
"This is so weird, I feel like a real Wall Dog now." Henry smiled, but the gang was quick to dampen his spirits.
"Not yet, man. We're gonna take you to the grill and we'll let Van Del decide if you can be a Wall Dog." Henry was told.
"What grill?" He asked, curious as to where Van Del's hideout was.
"That's a secret..." A boy tried to say, but Spray-Z couldn't help himself.
"It's the Old Maple Grill." He revealed dumbly, causing his teammates to groan.
"Shut up, man! What is wrong with you?!" They scolded him, not wanting Kid Danger to know the location before they could fully trust him.
"I got shot in the eye with a laser!" Spray-Z whined as the group began to argue amongst themselves.
"The Old Maple Grill's been abandoned for years," Henry mentioned to Veronika.
"Just wait." She smirked, but Henry's stomach dropped as two Wall Dog's dragged Jasper over to the group. What had the kid gotten himself into?
"You guys are going to be in big trouble." He hissed at them, trying to break free from their grip.
"Oh no," Henry mumbled.
"Yo! Who's the herbert?" A guy asked.
"We caught him across the street, spying on us." The girl in the glitter mask replied, Jasper, being not afraid to confirm her story.
"That's right. And I found you and as soon as I get out of here, I'm calling the cops." He told them, holding up his phone like an idiot. Someone should've told him that telling the bad guys about your escape plan is the worst thing you can do in a hostage situation. Snatching his cell from his hand, a Wall Dog threw it far away and into the pond on the golf course.
"But, but, but, but...well, now, how am I supposed to call the cops?" He asked them rhetorically.
"I think this Herbert need to be a little more...colourful." The guy said, and the gang took up their spray cans so they could tag him.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up. Why don't we let our new friend spray the Herbert?" Veronika suggested, turning to Henry who gulped at the notion. The gang enthusiastically agreed, but Henry wasn't so sure. He wouldn't do this to a stranger, let alone his best friend.
"Give me some cans." He told them in a stern voice, plucking up the courage to do as they had asked so he could stay in the group.
"Kid Danger?" Jasper gasped as he noticed the superhero stood across from him.
"What's up?" The teen asked cooly, shaking his can.
"What happened to your outfit?" He spluttered, not believing that one of his heroes would turn evil.
"None of your biz, Herbert," Henry told him cruelly, guilt rising in his chest as the Wall Dogs enjoyed his mean performance.
"What are you doing? You're supposed to fight for what's good and right." Jasper stressed, but the boy superhero had to keep up his pretence that he was bad now.
"Things change. Now I spray paint Herberts with big feet." He bullied his friend, hating how disheartened Jasper looked.
"No, no, no. Don't paint me." The captured boy screamed, but it was futile; the kid sprayed orange and blue paint all over his body, torturing him with the cold spray. They let him go eventually, but only after he left looking like there had been an explosion in a paint factory.
~Back in the Man Cave~
"Guys, guys, guys! I found something!!!" Charlotte screamed as she sprinted out of the elevator. She had just legged it from Henry's house, having found Jasper all painted up from his encounter with the Wall Dogs. They had sprayed him everywhere, and there had been an interesting addition to the paint on his back.
"If it's not Henry's head on a spike then I'm not interested." (y/n) said lamely, closing her eyes as she rested against Ray on the couch. He had cleaned himself in the hour Charlotte had been gone and had decided to let Schwoz poke around on the computer whilst he took some time-out with his favourite girl.
"No! I found a message on Jasper's back that Henry painted!" The girl exclaimed, dashing over to the computer so she could put her photo on the monitor. The adults sat up and joined her and Schwoz by the supercomputer, curious as to what Jasper had anything to do with this.
"The bucket kid?" Ray asked, confused by her quick sentence.
"Jasper got spray painted by Kid Danger at Big Putts Golf Course and this is what he wrote on his back." She explained, showing them the image of the abbreviation OMG that had been distinctly drawn there, the black paint contrasting the rest of the bright colours.
"You think it's a message?" Ray asked her, thinking about what Henry could mean. He knew his sidekick was trying to give him a sign about where to go since the signal had failed, but he couldn't grasp its coded meaning.
"It must be a place in Swellview." Schwoz theorised, thinking about every building in the city where crime boss would want to build his secret base.
"But where?" Ray stroked his chin, Charlotte rolling her eyes at how slow they were.
"The Old Maple Grill!" (y/n) gasped, her brain flickering to life as she dusted away the cobwebs in her mind. She felt like she had been pulled away from her depressed mood like a snapping elastic band as her neurons synchronised all at once.
"Yes! The abandoned grill on the east side of Swellview!" Charlotte smiled at her eureka moment, seeing the way she lit up as the dots connected in her mind.
"How did you think of that?" Ray asked in bafflement, surprised but not upset by the fact that she beat him to the chase.
"We used to go there all the time for their steaks. Don't you remember?" She reminded him, recalling how the times she shared with him in the restaurant were some of the first instances where she felt her heart flutter when he laughed at her jokes. It was so long ago, back when she'd only been working for him for a short while, she wasn't disheartened to learn that he had let the memory slip away. It must have been precious only to her.
"Oh, yeah." He smiled, zoning out as his three friends began to get ready for his assault on the Wall Dogs. They busied themselves at the computer as he remembered what it felt like to be sat in that grill. She looked so lovely on those nights, even when she had been tired and run-down from the late nights and hectic days. He recalled how he had cursed to himself when he realised that he'd do anything to make her smile or to keep her there with him. She had become important to him and that terrified the man who had always kept people at an arm's length. After all the women he had gone through, his best friend was the one he had given his heart to and he had no hope of taking it back.
"Ray, are you ready?" Schwoz asked, breaking him out of his daydream.
"What? No!" He quickly stammered, thinking that he had been asked if he was ready to confess to (y/n) that he was head over heels in love with her.
"But we have everything ready." The young woman in question told him with a frown on her face. Taking a glance at the computer monitor, Ray realised that they were talking about going after Van Del.
"Oh right, yeah, I'm ready." He mentally slapped himself into focus, using his Captain Man voice to appear like he hadn't just had a mini-meltdown at the thought of admitting his feelings.
"There's been a lotta activity around the Old Maple Grill recently, so we're pretty sure that's where the Wall Dogs are," Charlotte told him and Ray walked over to the tubes.
"Right, I'm gonna go over there and teach that scum a lesson." He growled, whacking his belt buckle to the tube would come down. (y/n) wasn't sure if he was talking about Van Del or Henry, but in her mind, they were both as bad as each other, so she didn't care.
"Good luck!"
"Kick some ass!" The three friends waved him goodbye as he shot up the tube, intent on bringing the Wall Dogs to justice and Henry home.
~Van Del's lair~
"Kid Danger? He's here?" Van Del asked his minions as he descended some metal stairs in his hideout. The group from the golf course had just returned to their base and were eager to show their leader their newest gang member.
"Yeah. He's outside with Veronika." One of the lead minions answered.
"Bring him. Get him." Van Del smirked, excited to finally relish the fact that Captain Man's beloved sidekick had jumped ship and joined him.
The door to the lair opened and the supervillain rubbed his hands together as Henry nervously stepped inside, Veronika following close behind him.
"How's your eye?" He asked Spray-Z, who was holding the door open for them.
"Gone!" The boy cried and Henry noticed that he was now wearing an eyepatch over the eye that had been burnt. Ouch.
"Van Del?" Henry looked at his enemy with 'respectful' eyes, trying to appear humble in the colourful den of the Wall Dogs.
"Is it true, you've turned against Captain Man and that you want to join the Wall Dogs revolution?" The boss asked him, making Henry turn back to Veronika and grin cockily.
"Yep. I do." He confirmed.
"Roll up your sleeve." Van Del ordered, confusing the kid with his unusual direction.
"Uh...why?" He asked.
"Show him the Wall Dog mark on your arms." Van Del told his followers and they all pulled back their sleeves to reveal that they all had the Wall Dog tag branded on their arms.
"Oh," Henry said quietly, feeling anxious as Van Del heated up the branding iron. This guy was insane.
"First, we test the melon." He said mysteriously, and the minions passed over a melon with a rainbow wig and glasses. This was getting weirder by the minute. Pressing the glowing metal into the fruit's skin, the heat caused it to shrivel and hiss as the Wall Dog's dark mark was left on the green surface.
"So, to join the Wall Dogs now I have to do that to a melon?" Henry asked, trying to buy himself some time so Ray could get to him. Well, only if his message on Jasper had made it back to him.
"Hold up your arm." Van Del laughed, as two goons grabbed Henry and forced his sleeve up his arm.
"Whoa, whoa, can't I just swear on the Bible or something?" The boy asked, really not liking the idea of having a painful burn on his arm for the rest of his life.
"Or if--" Henry's panicking was interrupted as a boot came flying through the door, distracting the gang from their branding.
"Ow! Dang it!" The person yelled as their foot got stuck, but Henry sighed in relief as he knew his salvation had come. An arm came through the door too, as the man tried to force his way in. Then his other leg ripped through the wood and then his other arm, in an attempt to free his stuck limbs from the door, but it only made his situation worse.
Spray-Z carefully opened the door, which probably wasn't the best idea, but he was stupid so he didn't realise it. Opening the door, the guy was revealed to be none other than Captain Man, who was struggling in the position he had put himself in.
"It's Captain Man!" A girl yelled as the Wall Dogs descended into anger and trepidation. Using the brute strength he retained in all his muscle, Ray pulled himself free from the door and scowled at the criminals.
"Well, Van Del, spray time's over." He quipped, having spent the journey time from the Man Cave to the Old Maple Grill thinking about the perfect line for his entrance.
"Prove your loyalty to the Wall Dogs." Van Del ordered Kid Danger as his minions looked between the superhero and their leader nervously. Sighing, Henry sauntered up to Ray by a few steps.
"I've only got one thing to say to you." He growled at Ray.
"Then say it." The man said back in an equally serious tone.
"...I am so glad you're here!" Henry broke out into a gleeful smile and jumped into Ray's arms so he could give his friend a huge hug. He was so worried back there that he'd have to get branded. The Wall Dogs, especially Veronika, watched in horror as the superheroes revelled in their reunion.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Veronika yelled at Henry, not realising that she had been set up.
"Fighting crime, baby." He smirked at her cooly as Ray couldn't contain his elated grin.
"I love this kid." Captain Man laughed at his sidekick's words and gave him a quick side hug. As if he'd turn evil for a girl.
"You lied to me." Veronika cried, heartbroken that she'd been so foolish and trusted the boy.
"Yep." The boy answered truthfully.
"You used me!" She added.
"That is also true," Henry stated, feeling little to no remorse at what he had done since it had helped him and Captain Man find the Wall Dogs
"She is really pretty." Ray pointed out, knowing what it was like to be swept away by a girl's beauty since it happened to him every day when (y/n) came down from her room for breakfast.
"Right?" Henry agreed, smiling as he appreciated the girl that fell for him.
"But how could you..." She trailed off, not being able to say out loud that he had betrayed her.
"Look, I had to make you think that I turned against Captain Man and that I was falling in love with you so you'd bring me here to Van Del," Henry explained, causing the villain to grab one of his minions in anger.
"You idiot! You led Captain Man right to us!" He snapped, holding the poor kid by the scruff of his neck.
"It wasn't my fault. When we found the tracking device on the kid, we blew it up." He told his boss.
"Yeah. And that's when I knew I had to get a message to Captain Man, so I spray painted O-M-G on that kid you guys caught at Big Putts." Ray smirked at the boy's genius, glad that he picked a kid that was so smart to be his sidekick.
"You mean the kid with the big feet?" Spray-Z asked.
"Uh-huh. But his feet arent big, they're huge." Henry said, amusing himself at his slight jibe at Jasper.
"Wait, I still don't understand all this." A kid said, frowning at how all the facts were jumbled in his head.
"What? You mean that Kid Danger and I set up a whole plan to find your secret hideout and capture Van Del?" Ray asked, and the crowd nodded. They didn't have a clue what was going on. The superhero duo sighed; looks like they'd have to spell it out for them.
"All right."
"We'll explain it in more detail." They said, Ray, sitting down so they could talk about the entire plan.
~45 minutes later~
Well, that was tedious. It had taken them three-quarters of an hour just to get up to the whole OMG thing, and Ray and Henry had almost passed out from boredom.
"And so, when my helper saw the O-M-G that Kid Danger sprayed on that boy's back, she knew that was a clue," Ray explained to the now seated Wall Dogs, who still didn't get it.
"Old Maple Grill, O-M-G," Henry told them, and they all verbally confirmed their understanding.
"Wait. When did you even come up with this whole plan?" A girl asked, knowing that Kid Danger had been with them for the whole day and night.
"Well, you see, at first I lied to Captain Man," Henry said as Van Del started to get antsy from having waited so long.
"By not telling me that Veronika asked him to meet her under the Swellview sign," Ray added, the teen girl in front of him glaring at Henry.
"But then I felt guilty so I told him." The kid confessed, his golden morality shining through his smile.
"Who's a good boy?" Ray asked him in a silly voice and jokingly hit him in the stomach.
"Me." The kid giggled, happy that his boss was proud of him.
"So that's when we decided to really--" The large man was cut off as Van Del's patience finally snapped.
"STOP THIS! This explanation has been going on for 45 minutes! Enough!" The crime boss yelled, making Henry and Ray roll their eyes. What a temper, geez.
"Well, what do you want us to do?" Spray-Z asked, disappointed that he didn't get to hear the end of the story.
"Attack them!" He bellowed and the room collapsed in pandemonium as the Wall Dogs began to punch and kick at Captain Man and Kid Danger. Veronika swiped at Ray who easily blocked her punches as Henry battled Spray-Z, who wasn't very bright so he was quickly on the floor. Overpowering the girl, Ray pushed her onto the floor as the next minion lined up to fight him.
"Hey, Captain Man!" A boy caught his attention, holding up a long metal pole in his hands. Seeing that Ray was in danger, (even though he couldn't actually get hurt, but still), Henry grabbed his laser remote and fired it at the metal, the laser melting through it so it became useless.
Smiling that his opponent was now unarmed, Ray charged forwards and kicked him to the floor as Henry struggled against Spray-Z. Using the kid to lift himself up, Henry kicked an oncoming goon and threw his elbow back into the boy's nose. Now, he had no nose and one eye; it wasn't a good day for Spray-Z.
"Get him!" Van Del grunted when Ray opened a cabinet door into one of his minions' faces. Kid Danger dropped kicked another boy as Ray cut through the crowd, taking down anyone who stood in his path. With another guy being thrown through a pile of paint cans, the leader of the Wall Dogs cringed as the superhero duo annihilated his gang.
Seeing her chance to escape, Veronika ran up the metal stairs to the lair's second level but stepped back in shock as Ray launched a shopping cart of art supplies at her. Spinning around to go back the other way, she found herself trapped between the cart and Kid Danger.
"Where are you going?" Henry asked her as she tried to get past him.
"I'm sorry, but we got to keep you here until the cops show up." He told her as Ray swung across the room on a rope, kicking two goons over a sofa as he did.
"Really? Is that the truth?" Veronika snarled at Henry.
"What do you mean?" He inquired, puzzled at what she had said.
"Everything you've told me up to now has been a lie." She sniffed at him, growing teary at the thought of the boy she believed she could trust betraying her.
"We had to stop you and the other Wall Dogs from breaking the law." He sighed, knowing that it was his duty to stop criminals, no matter what.
"Well, you're a really good actor. 'Cause the way you kissed me, I thought maybe you liked it...and liked me." She gazed at him with a devastated face. Henry sighed and looked up as he blocked out the noise of Ray beating the other Wall Dogs to a pulp.
"What are you doing?" Veronika wondered why he was looking at the ceiling when she had just spilt her feelings to him.
"I don't know, but I sure hope you don't escape while I'm looking at the cool ceiling." He told her, his suggestive tone making her eyes widen. She looked around to see Captain Man still fighting Van Del and her friends, so she took her chance and ran down the escape corridor, but not before coming back to give Henry one last parting kiss.
Having tied up and hoisted the last minion above the floor using his rope, Ray was joined by Henry and they moved in on Van Del, who backed up the stairs as they tried to corner him.
"Don't come near me." He warned Captain Man, who wasn't even a bit scared of him.
"I'm coming near you." He retorted as the two continued to ascend the stairs.
"Leave me alone." Van Del stressed.
"Nope, here I come." Ray inched closer as Van Del's only hope of escape turned out to be a locked door. With his sidekick on his heels, Ray prepared himself to arrest the man.
"I am an artist." The villain tried to say, thinking that what he'd done was right even though the law said otherwise.
"You're a criminal," Ray growled and pushed Van Del over the flimsy railing and into his vat of red paint.
"AAH! I'M DROWNING!! I'm drawing in my own paint!" The guy shouted pathetically as he splashed about in the warm and sticky liquid.
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey!" The two superheroes shouted down at him as he freaked out.
"It's only, like, three feet deep. You can stand up." Ray told him, making the man stop flowering and get to his feet.
"Oh. This is so embarrassing." Van Del said as he wiped the paint from his eyes.
"Yeah."
"It really is." Henry and Ray agreed.
~Back at the Man Cave, (y/n)'s PoV~
"We are live at the Old Maple Grill where Captain Man and Kid Danger just captured the graffiti bandits known as the Wall Dogs." I listened intently to the sudden news report, almost choking on my soda when I heard the story.
"Holy shit, Henry's not evil." I gasped to myself, being alone since Schwoz was off doing 'Schwoz' things and Charlotte had gone home when her work shift had ended. I didn't know whether to feel overjoyed or angry at the superheroes onscreen; Henry was still the sweet kid I knew he was, but then again, I was almost certain that he and Ray had been in cahoots about his so-called 'betrayal' the entire time.
"So what do you guys plan to do with the reward money?" Evelyn Hall, the reporter, asked the two. I have to say, I was more than curious to hear their response since after I'd got hold of them they wouldn't be able to spend it after I'd finished with them.
Ray lied to me. That's the truth, he knew what was happening the entire time and he just let me believe that the kid had joined that stupid gang for some girl. After working with him for so long, I had thought that we had a mutual trust in our friendship, he could tell me anything and I would have taken the secret to my grave. I thought he knew that, I thought he trusted me. Clearly not.
"Well, the truth is, we never would have found the Wall Dogs if a young teenage boy with gigantic feet hadn't tipped us off." Ray's voice came out of the speakers as I sulked and munched angrily on a spring roll. But my heart melted a little when I realised that they were giving the ten thousand dollars to Jasper so the kid could get his foot reduction surgery thing.
I sighed to myself, debating whether to feel angry or proud that they had completed their noble mission. I suppose I don't have to know everything that went off in the Man Cave, after all, everyone has their secrets and everyone's entitled to keep their secrets.
"And who was this young man?" Evelyn asked Henry, who leaned towards the microphone so he could speak clearly.
"His name is Jasper Dunlop." The boy answered, making me smile at how kind he was being to his best friend. Any other kid would have kept the ten grand for himself, but not our Henry, selfless as always.
"So, we're going to take the ten thousand dollar reward and give it to Jasper." Ray smiled into the camera, and I couldn't help but smile back. That darn smile always got to me.
Switching off the news, I stood up and looked around the Man Cave. It always felt so big when I was alone, but I knew that my friend would be back soon with his heroic sidekick in tow. Thinking about Henry with a gentle smile on my face, the darkness of his costume snapped into my mind. I groaned when I sussed that the Wall Dogs must've painted it or something when he was fooling them.
"Stupid paint on stupid fabric never comes off," I growled to no one, thinking that I'd be the one to scrub it clean. It was times like this that made my job feel like work, but when he smiled at me, it felt like bliss. Even if he lied to me and broke my heart more times than I cared to count, I'd always be there, waiting for him to come home. I was in love with him, even if he would never love me back.
~Meanwhile, in the Man Van~
The cops had taken a very messy Van Del away in handcuffs, slamming the police van door in his face as he was scattered off to jail with his minions. It had been a long day's work and they were both relieved to just get in the Man Van and drive home. Jasper would get the reward money and they'd sleep tonight knowing that another one of Swellview's enemies was locked up behind bars.
"Do you think (y/n) will be mad at me?" Henry asked Ray quietly as the man drove along the quiet road.
"What? Nah, she loves you too much kid to be mad at you, she'll just...be mad at me." Ray gulped as he ruffled Henry's hair. He knew that his return to the Man Cave meant he'd have to own up to the fact that he knew that Henry wasn't evil, and his best friend would be beyond pissed.
"She'll forgive you though, I mean, you're best friends." Henry reminded him, but it wasn't enough to quell the man's fear. He had always seen their friendship as the perfect oxymoron; indescribably resilient, but also completely delicate. It had stood the test of time, it had endured every curveball life had thrown at them, it had coped with every girl ray had turned to that wasn't her, but he still felt like a wrong move could shatter it like glass.
"Yeah," Ray said quietly, drowning in his insecurities. Henry wasn't stupid and he had been around the couple long enough to recognise the signs of them floundering with their feelings.
"Man, she always forgives you. You don't have to worry." He comforted his boss, trying to calm his fear that (y/n) would not forgive Ray for lying to her. He could take responsibility for the lie and say that it was his idea, but he didn't need to.
Ray was man enough to go home to her, even if he could never tell her the way he felt. The thought of her waiting up for him made his heart flutter and it endeavoured him to press down harder on the gas.
He would face her wrath, her tears, her disappointment because that was what it took for him to go home to her. He wanted to grovel on his knees until she would accept his pleading for forgiveness, he wanted to fall asleep watching her favourite rom-com, despite the goofy storyline always making him groan. He'd do it all for her, because he loved her, even if she would never love him back.

Danganronpa Despair Time Foils
TL;DR - The foils of the main cast of the killing game in Danganronpa Despair Time are foreshadowed in the chapter 1 recap video. - Hey hey! As said above, premise is pretty simple. While based on the initial impressions alone not all of these seem to make sense, connections and shared themes can be found between all of the pairings presented in the chapter 1 recap video which is what makes me think they are foils. This is not concrete evidence and you are free to disagree! I'd love to hear others opinions and discourse regarding the topic in the comments. ^^ I will be making more in depth analysis posts on each of these pairings in the future. All screenshots are attributed and credited to the Danganronpa Despair Time channel. Please watch the original video & series as a whole! For some extra clarity:
From Wikipedia Here we go.
Foil #1 - Xander the Rebel & Min the Student
Shared Themes & Topics: Resenting their talents, resenting academia, importance to Teruko Tawaki, red/warm color pallets, pro & anti authority perspectives
Clarifications & Other Notes: They share a relationship of culprit & victim, giving them a unique dynamic in the story. A clear precedent for tension & conflict was set in their dynamic from their first interaction, though until the murder this was minimal.
Foil #2 - Teruko the Lucky Student & Charles the Chemist
Shared Themes & Topics: Distrust, social isolation, amnesia/obscured pasts, Pragmatism, Logic V. Fate Clarifications & Other Notes: Teruko & Charles had opposite upbringings with one being very privileged and the other being borderline or literally homeless. They have butted heads since day one and seem to be going in opposite directions as characters atm. They have had many scenes of direct conflict & tension.
Foil #3 - Eden the Clockmaker & Arei the Bowler
Shared Themes & Topics: Friendship, kindness/cruelty, Hope & Trust, Optimism, Naivety Clarifications & Other Notes: Arei has always been openly antagonistic towards Eden & Eden has expressed very clearly that she wants to get closer to Arei. Arei was devastated by Arei's death and Arei has expressed that Eden is everything she was not allowed to be but deeply desires to be.
Foil #4 - Nico the Pet Therapist & Ace the Jockey
Shared Themes & Topics: Bullying, Anxiety, Neurodivergence (Heavily Implied), Animals, Strength/Control Clarifications & Other Notes: Ace has an explicit history of cruelly bullying Nico while Nico has a confirmed past of being bullied by others for their identity as a non-binary person. Nico has attempted to murder Ace.
Foil #5 - Hu the Zither Player & Veronika the Horror Fanatic
Shared Themes & Topics: S*****e/S**f H**m, Lack of Purpose/Boredom Clarifications & Other Notes: There have been no explicit scenes of tension between the two. It is heavily implied that they have each others secrets. Hu has been portayed as 'motherly' & thoughtful while Veronika has been portrayed as 'childish' & impulsive.
Foil #6 - Rose the Art Forger & J the Effects Artist
Shared Themes & Topics: Identity Issues, Lack of Agency, Troubled Family Relations, Art/Performance Clarifications & Other Notes: There have been no explicit scenes of tension between the two. Rose has lost her passion for her talent while J has stated that she really loves her talent. Both have more powerful figures in their lives which have in some way stripped them of their agency to explore their identity on their own terms.
Foil #7 - Arturo the Plastic Surgeon & Levi the Personal Stylist
Shared Themes & Topics: 'Sinful' pasts, Troubled Family Relationships, Aesthetic/Cosmetic Talents Clarifications & Other Notes: These two have had one scene where there was some light tension & conflict established. Levi is portrayed humble & down to earth while Arturo is portrayed as haughty & excessively prideful. While Arturo's past is not explicitly or literally sinful, it is heavily implied that he subconsciously feels guilty for the death of his younger sister. Levi is heavily implied to have the heartless murderer secret based on the small number of secrets left & his secret quote where he laments over his 'heartlessness'. Both seem to have a tense relationship with their family with Levi having been literally disowned & Arturo seeming to be no contact with his family for one reason or another. Levi's talent focuses on making someone the best version of what they already are while Arturo's focuses on making you into someone else entirely. (Plastic surgery is not literally this but this is how he portrays it.)
Foil #8 - Whit the Matchmaker & David the Inspirational Speaker
Shared Themes & Topics: Optimism, Nihilism, Apathy, Depression, Kindness/Cruelty, Trauma Clarifications & Other Notes: Whit's primary visual motif is hearts while David's is stars. Hearts are essential, intimate & personal while stars are pretty but distant & uninhabitable. David's true nature is cold and uncaring while Whit is portrayed as very empathetic & mindful of others. Both characters seem to struggle in some way with feelings of apathy and nihilism, though they seem to deal with this in very different ways. Whit had David's secret & tried to keep it until he learned his true nature, at which point he remarked that 'his career was in trouble for reasons out of his (whit's) control'. David is intially inviting & kind while Whit is initially somewhat abrasive & insensitive. -
Tysm for reading if you did! I'd love to hear your thoughts down below, as well as any other shared themes/topics you can see applying to any of these characters. Hu & Veronika in particular is a pairing I don't understand super well but would love to hear more about!
Not sure when I'll post the individual analysis posts but I look forward to doing so when I do. Bye bye!

So we all know Veronika grebenshchikova is amazing, so how about we go the route of being a Shy reader who has a crush on her though everyone in class including her thinks you wither don't like her or are scared of her(not that it stops her from hanging out with you or scaring you) So anyway Reader ends up confessing to Veronika which she acceps in typical Veronika fashion( I hope you write her reaction as amazing as you always write her) and the next day The class finds out that they're now dating since Veronika just casually calls you her boyfriend/darling or you speak up when Hu says something about Veronika frightening you when she's around you.
Veronika grebenshchikova with a shy reader

Everyone thought you were scared of Veronika like many of your other classmates, who wouldn't be? After all, she was kind of a weirdo who liked horror too much and took joy in scaring and pranking other people, not to mention the very unhinged and creepy stuff she said completely randomly
And with how shy you were, you were one of Veronika's favorite people to scare, the way you screamed whenever she randomly popped out of the darkness or when she showed you one of the new creepy decorations she made was just so adorable, like you in general, everything about you was so cute and adorable to her. It was when she started thinking about this that she realized she might actually have a crush on you
But even Veronika herself thought you hated her with how she continued scaring you so she didn't have enough courage to confess and be rejected
Meanwhile, you started to realize the same, Veronika was beautiful, and her creepy antics somehow made her even more attractive to you, seeing her smile whenever she saw you made you blush so hard and your heart beat so fast but despite everything you decided to confess
You invited her to a park and gave her some flowers that she loved and then told her about how you felt while blushing intensely
".....really? You actually love me?
The moment you nodded Veronika squealed and hugged you
"Oh my gosh, this is amazing! I love you too darling, oh can I call you darling? I love that name, oh sorry we aren't even official yet...or are we? I'd love to be your girlfriend.....ahh I can already imagine cuddling you when you're scared during a horror movie.....am I going a bit too fast?"
"Y-yeah just a bit"
"Sorry, I'm just really excited. The cutest guy ever just told me he likes me, and I thought you hated me. Oh, by the way, do you like plushies? I can already think of some that fit your vibe"
"Y-yeah I love them"
"Ahhhh I knew it, you're just getting more adorable by the minute. Your screams are so cute too"
".......t-thank you?......"
"Sooooo are we a thing?"
"I-i'd love to"
"Yaaaaay!!!!"
[Timeskip the next day]
You're sitting next to Veronika while she tells you about the new horror movie she watched yesterday while you're slightly sweating at how happy she looks while telling you about the most gruesome murders you've ever heard of
"Sorry Veronika, may I sit next to y/n for now?"
You both turned to see hu staring at you
"Hm? Why?"
"I couldn't help but notice how uncomfortable he looks around you usually, I would hate for him to feel that way"
"Uncomfortable? Darling am I making you feel that way?"
".....n-no definitely not"
"Darling? Sorry, am I missing something?"
"Oh yeah, he's my darling, or my boyfriend"
"B-boyfriend? Really?"
"Yep! We got together yesterday"
".....y/n, she isn't.....forcing you into this is she?"
"Hey! I would never, Who do you think I am?"
"To be completely honest, you threatened to kill us multiple times"
"Yes and I definitely would if any of you hurt y/n"
"............"
"But I'd never do anything like that"
"Y-yes she's right, I was the one who confessed actually"
"Oh really?"
"Yes, I had a crush on her for a while and decided to act on it.....i-i love Veronika"
"Awwww that's so sweet darling, I love you too"
"I see, I apologize for misunderstanding, I wish you both a happy relationship"
"Thanks hu"
As the zither player went away, Veronika looked at you and smiled brightly
"Thanks so much for defending me darling"
"It's nothing, like I said I love you"

Some little imaginings about DRDT-Milgram's Undercover I had:
-in the second chorus when they're all restrained, Nico would also have a muzzle
-you know how in the original Under, the verses after the first chorus (Shidou and Mahiru's) are kinda muzzled/static-y? Well Hu would join J and Rose in that sense and then Veronika's spin coincides with the more fast-paced beat transition that's Kazui's verse.
In the little prison cell transitions
-Veronika would be right up against the bars with her arms going through them. amd smiling of course
-Xander would be leaning in a way that only his good eye is visible
-Teruko would be sitting on a bench towards the back of her cell
Ooh, really cool ideas! The Nico in a muzzle thing is kinda crazy actually, and the rest are all very neat concepts too! Thanks for sharing them!
#drdt#if i ever get the motivation i will continue writing this mark my words#that’s a pretty if though ngl#ask
