About my "Never Be The Same" (NBTS) Limoreau fic:
Just realized I've been mentioning it but did really go into what it's about/the basic idea of it. I've been writing this fic since January when a friend convinced me I should write it. It's the Limoreau/Gen V fic I wanted to read, and I had never really written a fic (that I planned on posting) before, which is why I've been holding on to it/working for a while now. I want it to actually be good. Or at least consumable, lol.
So yeah, basically, it's a cannon divergence from the finale of the first season (no white room), basically picks up a couple of days after the events of the finale. I wanted to write a fic about what it would be like if they had a chance at a "normal" life. Or as normal as it can be. Vought still exists and they're still a bunch of bastards, but Jordan and Marie's goals are no longer aligned with wanting to be in The Seven. Emma has a chance to do things how she wants to (none of the bullshit with her mom and Vought). And Andre also has an interesting arc going on imo.
It's gonna be a long, multi chapter fic. There will be time skips. Basically working our way through their lives, with a special focus on Marie and Jordan and how their relationship unfolds as they grow up and find their places in the world, growing into their own people and all that jazz. There will be angst!!! So much that I start out with a lot of soft fluff shit, lol. But by chapter 6 / 7 angst starts coming in full force. Which is fun for me, but yeah. There will be tears, I apologize.
So yeah, we're (Jordan and Marie) will go through some shit, but don't worry, eventually things even out and we get to see how they are together as proper adults with, like, fully developed brains and maybe some therapy skills. We love that for them.
Emma's gonna be fine. Doing great actually. She deserves it.
And I don't want to give too much away about Andre quite yet. Gonna have to wait and see for that.
(Vought being a bastard is a big theme in the first saga [for lack of a better term], but we deal with that too, trust.)
(right place, wrong time, is also an overarching theme for the lovely couple.)
That's about as much as I can say to sell you on reading this fic, lol. I've just been working really hard on it and I've had a lot of support and help from a good friend ( @paperdoll201 , love you 💜) along the way. And according to them it's a good read so far, which is great to know. So yeah, like I said before I'm gonna start releasing chapters after I reach a certain checkpoint in the story (when the angst hits hard), which is basically already done with. (like a chapter or two left to write).
So I think I can say with certainty that I'll start releasing chapters sometime next month. So I hope it's worth the wait and the hype I'm giving it, lol. Even if it's not, I hope at least someone enjoys the read. This ship has me by the neck, I'm only doing what the dreams are telling me to do.
(there's also a playlist attached that I'm working on organizing so you can get those vibes . Lol.)
Keep writing. Keep reading.
Much love. 😎👍❤️

Fuente de Venus, Piriápolis, Uruguay: The Fountain of Venus is located on Avenida de Mayo in the Uruguayan city of Piriápolis (Maldonado), almost at the exit to Route 93. The park where the fountain is located is accessed by Defensa Street or by the Camino de Los Arrayanes at the base of Cerro del Toro. It was built by Francisco Piria, founder of the city of Piriápolis, whose original name was "City of the Future". The temple is the work of the architect Beltrame. The statue of Venus was designed by Mathurin Moreau and made in the French foundry Val D'Osne. Wikipedia

Hi its K! this is for everyone:
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Alcina Dimitrescu: In my jazz days I spent much of my time in Paris. I would definitely love to return there. I miss those bright lights. I remember it like it all was yesterday. I met Ernest Hemingway there when he was writing The Sun Also Rises. I was a primary inspiration for Lady Brett Ashley, although he had to hide my lesbianism due to the tastes of the time, *said with hatred* manthings, complete monsters, I couldn't kill them then, a shame. I was an icon there, a fashion and music symbol among all, a sex symbol among the Sapphic audience. I still am both, but in those days I was on the covers of magazines, I kept copies of all of the issues I was in, they're in my desk. I played the best venues with The Pallboys. What a city... the Pallboys, they, they must all be dead by now, *legitimately sorrowful* I'll truly miss them, the only truly good manthings I've ever met and ever will meet...
Moreau: *Gives an upward forlorn stare, knowing that he can't leave due to his appearance* A c-cleaner lake, c-ontry dun't madder.
Karl Heisenberg: Just anywhere but here.*sighs, smokes his cigar. After a few seconds he is reinvigorated speaking with hope and a naive curiosity. Emotions almost nonexistent in the metal lord* But once I'm free, 'not somewhere. I'm gonna go everywhere. That wicked fucking bitch stole a world from me. *a little sad, pours some whiskey he sips as he talks* I know when I'm out, I'm gonna be on the road, every city, every country, 'see all there is to see, everything I didn't get to. *Slips away into contemplation, he falls asleep after a few more drinks, hat over face*
Donna Beneviento: I d-don't want go... I'm scared to... home is all I've had, but if I had to... *prepares to talk about her for a while, shudders as she says the name* Claudia always wanted to see the *she starts scrying softly in between words* Mediterranean, she thought the water would be so pretty. She, she could've been right.
(I didn't write for the daughters Dimitrescu here, but I think they'd probably want to follow their mom after hearing all her stories)

As soon as they arrived at the venue their eyes were subconsciously searching for her. When they realised they were looking for her, they told themself they were doing so because they needed to know where she and her next betrayal were coming from. You know what they say, keep your enemies close and all that.
Tumblr media
There she was! Standing next to the suspicious new dean. For a second they forgot how to breathe. How could someone be soooo beautiful? That dress had been made for her and only her. Red was suddenly their new favourite colour. They wondered what that dress would look like on their room floor.
They shook their head as if to shake away their thoughts. They quickly moved on to thinking about how she was probably wearing red so she could hide evidence of bloodstains when she inevitably did something nefarious to some poor schmuck at this pretentious gathering.
They were half listening to their father go on and on about things that did not matter. Half their mind was occupied with following Marie across the room as she and her fake self hobnobbed with the obnoxious donors. She looked like she was having fun. Of course, snakes enjoyed their undeserved attention and fame.
As the night was getting late, and they were having a much needed convo with Cate, they saw her heading towards the exit. Panic set in. They needed to stop her before she left. They quickly assured themself that they were stopping her because she could not leave in peace. She deserved some snarky comments before she left.
"Hey, Moreau. " "I'm not in the mood... Okay. " They smirked because it was working. They were successfully getting under her skin! So..., this is what winning felt like.....

how are your days going? tells us a bit… you know we love your diary entries for that prose of you ☁️
diary of late; late winter into early spring ~
it has been an age since I logged a digital diary entry. what are my days like? they are filled with writing — self-indulgent essays on ceramics, white dresses, dream languages. anaïs nin, jeffrey eugenides, anna kavan. reading, too, for nothing but utter pleasure — the birth of venus, lud-in-the-mist, woolgathering. leonora carrington’s tarot.
I escaped to the seaside with a friend — picked shells and jewel-like stones, threw starfish back into the water, read next to the fire in the evenings, made a nighttime shrine at the altar of a ruined abbey. I have been making many shrines: consecrating spaces, honouring loved ones, carving out the mundane. making offerings from the market. lighting candles for those passed.
lots & lots of wanderings — through fields, through cemeteries, through woodland. I catch sunlight when I can. I practice pottery, too — staining hands and face an eerie white, creating strange, crude fae creatures with limbs that snap unexpectedly.
my friends live by dinner parties — I brought white peaches to one & red wine to another. dried cranberries for imbolc, of course. for an angel’s birthday I baked a walnut cake and covered it in icing & taper candles & little flowers (poisonous & edible — hellebores, primroses, violets). I eat other meals with my mother, who only eats food from the earth — I feel like a fairy, picking away at the soft flesh of raspberries and blueberries. food that is good for the soul.
I am over-saturated with art — I returned to paris for rodin and gustave moreau, will return to amsterdam for vermeer.
I was sickly for a long time, and lonely. I lost my mind, a little bit, at one point — a true madwoman in a white dress. I am trying now to remain above the earth, like persephone, to grow with the spring. to be conscious and grateful of my aliveness, of my breath and body and world. I refuse passivity, I say! I refuse rot and paralysis! I refuse to not express adoration in all that I do!
that is a glimpse into my days ♡
