I’ve been reading a lot of Star Wars Novels lately but one of Rael Aveross’ lines in Master and Apprentice really stood out to me

‘We don’t choose the light because we want to win… We choose it because it is the light’

To me it very well puts together the fight of the Jedi in the Clone Wars and later, the remaining Jedi’s battle against the Empire. They could of very well of given up but they chose to keep fighting on the side of good not because they knew it was the winning side, but because it was good because it was filled with light.

It’s Rael restating Qui-Gon Jinn’s line from earlier in the novel but I prefer the more simple way Rael phrases it.

“I love you”, he breathes, as if it’s the only phrase he’s been taught. Your name is caught on his lips, falling from him with a melodic ring, sending a shiver up your spine as he caresses you, feeling you and only you, all of you.

Perhaps it was the way that you smiled at him, carefree and bright like the sun, graceful and ever ethereal beneath its beams, you, the image of you, burning into his mind like a broken record, looping, so that he might never forget that sight of you.

You are all that is ever in his head, it is only you that he hears, wishes to hear you praise him every time he pushes himself to do better than the day before, because it is you that he adores, you that he strives to be better for.

“I love you,” he repeats, his voice but a hushed whisper, ever-loving and gentle against your skin. And you know it is true, because of how he says it, so fragile and genuine as if he may break if you leave him.

You are all he has, and so you are his, as he is yours.

ITS SO CRAZY THAT THIS BANGER OF A LINE WAS USED OUTSIDE OF A CUTSCENE IN JEDI: FALLEN ORDER(2019). I totally understand why they used it again in Kenobi(2022) with Anakin and Obi-wan’s ‘I am what you made me’. IT GOES SO HARD!!

Regarding the Twitter drama, I would like to make it clear I DO NOT condone or support Elliott Ghindi (or his actions/decisions), nor will I ever choose to do so.

While I AM a Tighnari-themed blog (and while I heavily kin Tighnari), I do not associate him with his VA, and I especially will not ever after seeing all what’s happened. Please do not harass me for having such attachments to a character who has nearly nothing to do with his VA other than simply having been voiced by the person.

I will not condone other users coming onto my blog to yell/nag at me for liking, writing, or drawing/cosplaying Tighnari content. He is a kin and a comfort of mine, and his VA’s choices will not change my views on him. He is a separate person from those who voice him.

(That being said, I am NOT defending Elliott. However, I will block anyone who attempts to start shit with me just because I enjoy making things related to Tighnari.)

Hello, Tumblr!

My name is Solstice (tho sometimes I use the alias ‘Ven’ on here), and I’m an 19-year-old hobbyist digital/traditional artist and writer!

**NOTE: I am the host of a plural system, so sometimes my alters may post on my behalf or re-blog content without me knowing- please don’t panic if that’s the case; we’re just very friendly is all ‘^^ !! Oh, and the system mainly has Genshin fictive/introject alters too, soooo.. expect a lot of attention from them on Genshin related blogs LOL. Each of us has our own signoff, so make sure to read that to see who’s posting what!!

Anyways… Here on Tumblr, I write both fanfictions and one-shot stories for Genshin Impact characters! ..I do have a few rules, of course.. but once you read those, feel free to send an ask in for me! I’d love to write out some requests for you guys~

To make things very, very clear before the other rules are stated— if the request you have is of the ‘mature’ kind (such as more.. intimate, writing requests for a character), the character must be 18+, and you must be as well! This means you cannot ask for an NSFW post if you are asking anonymously, as I cannot check your age if I can’t see your account! ..I do hope that’s a fair and reasonable request. ^-^

What/who will I write

(and what will I not)..?

I will usually only write for MALE characters from Genshin Impact; the exceptions to this rule are as follows:

Yoimiya, Amber, Sucrose, Hu Tao, Collei (SFW only) and Kokomi

Any other characters that are requested of me (if female) will usually be denied, but sometimes I don’t mind stepping out of my comfort zone! So fire ahead and ask! Worst I can do is say no after all, hehe.

Oh, and please, please, PLEASE note that I may not write requests for some specific male characters too, simply because they make me uncomfortable (for example, Dottore— there’s others too, but the list is kinda long.. feel free to ask though! I don’t bite)! Sorry if that is an inconvenience, but it’s for the sake of my personal boundaries. If you wish for a certain character that I won’t write for, I am sure that there are many other amazing writers on Tumblr who will!

I allow requests for the following themes (can be either platonic or romantic!):

Fluff/comfort (SFW)

Angst/hurt (SFW)

NSFW (rarely; depends on the request)

Additionally!!, characters who have the appearance of a young child (or are confirmed to be below the age of 14) I will ONLY write PLATONIC interactions for! (Some examples are Klee, Qiqi, and Nahida.) Characters ages 15-17 I will only write SFW for (such as Chongyun or Collei!); though 18+ characters can be placed in any reasonable request, both SFW and NSFW!

I will NOT ever write any kind of hate, racist, or homophobic content (UNLESS it is in the context of the reader being picked on; even then it will almost always be toned down). Please also keep in mind that I do not write OC x canon, only ‘x readers’!

My works will usually contain/feature a GN!Reader (they/them pronouns used), unless the request asks for different genders/pronouns to be used! Please make sure to specify if you make a request!
