SO charmed by the little throwaway about ✨dragon lord consort esteemed diplomat revaan✨#who picks the vegetables out of his food and hides them under the tablecloth #everything i learn about this man makes me like him more. he was SO dumb.#now we know where malleus gets it from i guess #also unrelated but once again the fact that i named my mc tamago has had unintentional consequences #tamago take the tamago and tamago tamagao tamago #frikkin love that when yuu gives the egg back you can just be like 'i love him. this is my baby now.' 100% accurate.#also yuu continually referring to malleus as tsunotarou even to the senate = amazing. yuu really has NO self-preservation or awareness.#they fit right in with everyone else #<- see what did i tell you. huge rambling mess.#and i haven't even BEGUN to talk about MELEANOR -- (is dragged offstage by a hook)

Pomefiore shenanigans and Deuce casually doing the human during training flag as asked for an upcoming spectacle Idk yet if I add a bit of shine or decoration to the thief outfits or if I lust leave it like that, not that it would matter much in monochrome but I want them to be stylish at all times Other info is that this is a non magic circus, including the magic tricks ! Of course the theft is done without the use of magic as well, it's much more thrilling that way. Circus Corvus is based in Sage Island on an artificial peninsula No theft operation is done on Sage Island, the rest isn't spared :))))

Bonus cheebs, I just wanted to make the joke w/ leona but He's probably going to be on the "got robbed" side of this story.

I haven’t replayed or talked about YTTD in forever but I can’t stop thinking about how Mai, despite being a baker with a dessert pastry character design vibe, canonically fucking loves vegetables. Her favorite foods are vegetable dishes. That’s so real and iconic. I genuinely feel represented by her. I’m so tired of all the anti-veggie propaganda in fiction where characters are written to love junk food, dessert, and meat in an attempt to be relatable. Mai is a sweets-coded yet veggie-loving queen, and it’s played straight. None of that “she’s forcing herself to eat them to be healthy” bs, just a professional food-maker who knows what’s good.

The oracle bone script for "vegetable" (cai) comes from the image of a hand, harvesting some vegetables from the ground :D

The Oracle Bone Script（甲骨文) is the oldest form of written Chinese. They were carved into animal bones or shells as a form of divination. These artefacts have been found dating back four thousand years ago to 2000 BC (Shang Dynasty).

The Chinese characters used today have gone through many script evolutions, but the original oracle bone script design can still be seen.

Although Adventure Time features a couple more inanimate object characters (e.g. Neptr and Clock Face, which I won't cover), the most prominent one is BMO, a (multifunctional) sentient video game console system. BMO is one of the main characters.

Noteworthy, too, are the Life Given Objects. They are objects or plants that were given sentience by the Ancient Sleeping Magi of Life Giving (aka Life Giving Magus). The objects appear in several episodes across the series. Here's is a page that lists them all:
