Vash's backstory is a captivating yet heartbreaking tale. Born into a destitute Muggle family alongside his twin brother Nai, they were the only ones in their large brood to possess magical abilities. Facing the harsh reality of homelessness, Vash and Nai clung to each other for support, relying on their wits to survive the unforgiving streets. In a stroke of fate, Vash obtained a stolen revolver, providing a semblance of protection for himself and his brother amidst the perilous urban landscape.

At school, they quickly distinguished themselves, drawing the attention of Professor Rem Saverem, their History of Magic instructor, who took them under her wing. more Trigun fanart! And once again with my oc Lucy! And honestly I’m so proud of it🥰 for a long time I struggled with poses, especially action packed ones and ones that require two characters interacting with each other. But I wanted to challenge myself and see if could do it, and I like to think I made a lot of improvements.

Anyways, for what inspired me. I always imagine when it’s time to run, Vash had at first tried to take Lucy by the hand and have her run alongside him. But unfortunately Lucy isn’t as fast as he is, thanks to him being so tall and her spending years trapped inside a buried ship, she just can’t keep up. So Vash just started getting the habit of picking her up and sprinting. He feels a little bad for man handling her, but it’s made it a lot easier on the both of them. Plus, secretly he does like the chance of getting to hold her in his arms, so sweeping her off her feet becomes pretty common overtime😂❤️

[My headcanon for Trigun: Vash is intersex]

Vash, the protagonist of Trigun Stampede, is a complex and multifaceted character. An interesting interpretation is that he might be intersex and hermaphroditic. Vash is a Plant, an interdimensional being that does not follow the same biological rules as humans. His youthful and unchanging appearance, despite his advanced age, already suggests a unique biology.

Additionally, Vash demonstrates gender fluidity in his actions and behaviors. He exhibits characteristics traditionally associated with both genders, such as strength and compassion, courage and sensitivity. This combination of attributes can be seen as a representation of an intersex identity, where physical and hormonal characteristics do not fit typical definitions of male or female.

Love Comes Unexpectedly (Trigun) fanfiction

content: Vash has a moment to see his own thoughts and feelings for a fine woman. Established relationships. Mention of scuffles and fighting. Mention of injuries and bruising. casual talk. Romance.

Gentle humming was heard as Vash closed the gate on the last of the Tomas. His sigh one of relief as Adelha continued to hum to the last of the creatures. His gaze finding the white haired maiden to just have him lean back against the fence and watch. There was Adelha with her soft smile. Petting the still anxious Tomas after she had treated the injury to it's leg. Which had this one Tomas out of the nine on edge to not want to go into the barn. Yet Adelha took her time with the still nervous Tomas. A soft song on her lips as she ran gloved hands over the creature to calm and soothe. So it only took a few minutes before Adelha was leading the Tomas into it's designated pen for a good rest and some water.

Vash watched Adelha work with a warm smile. Enjoying how she sang with a sweet voice to ease the Tomas in their pens so they calmed down. The day having proven highly stressful for the entire farm when a truck had accidentally backfired for the Tomas to scurry out of their enclosure. So Vash and Adelha had helped to go after the Tomas so they didn't end up getting hurt or falling down a cliff. Adelha had proven vital in wrangling the Tomas with her kindness and calm voice. Songs of gentle warmth given for the Tomas to come out of the cave they had hidden away in. Vash and the other farm workers able to circle the Tomas and guide them back to the farm. All while Adelha sang and hummed to keep the Tomas docile.

Now all nine of the escaped Tomas were safe and resting. The farm owner looking relieved to walk up and shake Vash's hand with a firm grip. His voice graveled from age and hard work. "Never seen the like before today. A real siren that one. I'm grateful for the help. You two are welcome to stay the weekend. Since it's getting late and you'd have a time getting back to town on foot." Vash smiled to sound very glad as he spoke. "That's awfully considerate of you. I'm sure Adelha will be glad for the warm bed. We've been camping out in the dunes for days now and I hate having her sleep in just a sleeping bag."

The farm owner watched a moment as Adelha gave the last Tomas some good pets for her to be speaking softly to the tired creature. Which had the farm owner tip his hat to chuckle. "I don't blame you for that. Such a fine woman of class and character. Gotta say, friend. You've found a real keeper to have as your lady." Vash froze to blink a few times and then give a meep of pure surprise. His words full of nervous energy as he stated, "What?! Oh no! No! Adelha isn't- She's not my- We're just good friends! More like family if anything!" The farm owner watched Vash to then give the blonde a knowing smile that spoke volumes. While Vash turned away to feel his blush burn all the way from his ears and down to his toes. So the farm owner reached out to pat Vash on the shoulder. "Guess I caught you off guard with that one. Yet I don't hear you staying no to the idea of you falling in love with the fine lady. So you might want to start thinking about that and see if you do want that fine lady as yer wife. It's how I found my Isabelle as a teenager. Whirlwind of a romance and I'll never stop loving her. Been ten years since she went to the good Lord."

Vash felt confused to look back to the farm owner to ask right away, "Wait. So the nice lady back at the house is your second wife?" The farm owner nodded to sound both wistful and warm. "Teresa, Isabelle and I were the best of friends since we were kids. It didn't take me long to realize that Teresa is just as fine and loving a woman as Isabelle was. Once I asked for us to try, we ended up settling into a good love of life and each other. My best friend is now my second wife and a wonderful lady. Not what I planned. Yet it's good and priceless and still stuns me stupid that I have her in my life." Vash felt those words for him to look back at Adelha. Taking in her silver white hair that had come free of the braid during the fiasco. A face of sculpted simplicity yet uniquely beautiful. A slender frame with poise and grace in her every step and gesture. Kindness and patience flowing into wisdom and compassion. Yet it was her eyes that Vash found utterly captivating. They were the most fierce and striking azure blue possible. Like the pictures he had seen of the sea back on Earth all those years ago. Or perhaps like the arctic ice caps. Yet those eyes held so much warmth and serenity. Which left him feeling like a lightning bolt had struck down his spine.

So Vash settled into the moment to realize a world tilting truth. That he deeply loves this fine woman named Margaret Joanna Adelha Mathilde. How she tended to lightly scold Vash for only wanting doughnuts in the morning or a snack. The way she held his hand to lace their fingers together. Moments of teasing and gentle laughter whenever she surprised him with a kiss to his cheek or he made a bad joke to get her chuckling. How she would teach the local children how to read the scriptures and show them how to make sandwiches. A memory of that one late night when Vash got jumped by a group of bandits intending on harming him coming into focus. He'd been sure that he was doomed to never see the light of day again. Only for Adelha to actually risk her life rescuing him seconds later by taking down all four men with just her fists and feet. Leaving all four bandits out like lights and with broken hands and Vash soon freed from his bindings for Adelha to hustle him back to her room at the church. How she'd tended his cuts with gentle care for her to look so relieved that he was safe. Despite her getting a rather nasty bruise over her jaw and a rather nasty gash over her right leg.

Vash was brought out of his thoughts when Adelha hummed in front of him. Making Vash shake his head a few times to then come back to the here and now. Adelha was standing in front of him to be simply gazing at him like he was a work of art. Gloved hands clasped behind her as she tilted her head a little to the side. The sleeves of her satin blouse slightly scuffed and damaged due to wear and wrangling Tomas. Her leather corset vest covered in scratches and dust. The coat she'd been wearing had gotten ripped so badly that Adelha had tossed it during the chase after the Tomas. Her pants also had several rips and frayed stitching in places. All for her knee high leather boots to look about ready to fall apart. She was covered in mud and dust with a few scrapes along her face. Yet she was fully focused on Vash to have her smile at him with thoughtful knowing. Like she was reading his mind and heart to just know him on every level. Which always shook his soul with that feeling of being really seen. Yet Adelha just removed her full length evening gloves to gently touch her fingertips to his face. A hum of warmth escaping her painted lips for her to ask him sweetly, "Welcome back to the here and now, love. What had you lost in thought with such a serious look on your face? Are you all right?"

Vash felt the unspoken questions layered in the actually asked questions for him to heave a long sigh of air. Letting the fatigue and raw vulnerability show only for Adelha as he answered her. "Some things finally clicked into place for me to realize I need to have a long sit down. Things I've either been putting off or ignoring out of fear. But I will do that later. Once we get ourselves into the waiting house and all cleaned up for sleep." Adelha gave Vash a nod of her head to then have her lean in and give him a sweet kiss to his cheek. Something she did often for him to feel cherished and adored. Then Adelha turned Vash around to start oh so gently nudging him back towards the farm house where the farm owner was talking with his wife as they stood on the porch. Said wife soon waving at Vash and Adelha for her to say with a smile, "Hurry up you two! The water isn't going to get hotter from you two loitering outside!"
