Do you have any Vaporeon facts?
Vaporeon Facts
-The scientific name for Vaporeon is "Mare vulpes altera" which means "Other sea fox"
-Since Vaporeon can turn into water, they have great regenerative abilities and can recover from almost anything if given fresh water (headcanon from @poke-planet )
-Salt water vaporeon tend to have stronger muscles than fresh water vaporeon, as they have to adapt to deal with the ocean current
-The Pokedex states that when Vaporeon enter the water, they turn into the water. While Vaporeon can turn into water, it's not something that happens without their control. Similar to how (most) people can move limbs, Vaporeon can turn into water at will
-Researchers have discovered a possible Deep-Sea variant of Vaporeon. These Vaporeon are said to have glowing scales, darker bodies, and a more aggressive-looking appearance (might actually show that here!)
-Vaporeon can push their ears and ruff (ears) down when swimming to move faster
-Vaporeon have both gills and lungs, allowing them to breathe in and out of the water
-A lot of ancient statues have shown, what archeologists theorize, is an ancient water deity. It actually doesn't resemble a pokemon at all, but actually a human with Vaporeon-like qualities (its ears being Vaporein fine, having the large fin on their head, a Vaporeon tail, and an outfit resembling a Vaporeon
-A lot of people think Vaporeons cause rain by their tails twitching, but that isn't true. Their tales twitch with the natural changing of weather, so they twitch right before its about to rain
-Vaporeon scales are popular with collectors for their rarity and beauty. They fall off naturally when they shed
-There are a lot of fairytales of Vaporeon luring travelers in with their scales causing a hypnotic effect
-Vaporeon are wary, but are also playful. Wild Vaporeon have been known to swin up to surfers to try and play with and observe them
-Vaporeon are omnivores; eating berries, fish pokemon, and seaweed
-Elderly Vaporeon usually live on land, as a lot of undiscovered, more aggressive, larger pokemom rest at the sea, and they can be targeted for their slowness
-Wild Vaporeon in Galar are less likely to live their expected life span due to Galar's more polluted water
-Vaporeon puff up their ruffs and ears up when trying to attract mates
-Saltwater Vaporeon get water from the fish pokemon they eat
-Male Vaporeon are slightly larger than female Vaporeon
-Considering that ancient Vaporeon were land pokemon, scientists think that we're in the middle of an evolutionary change. In the future, Vaporeon might become fully aquatic!
-Vaporeon that live in Arctic seas tend to be fatter (more fat/blubber=better warmth
-A lot of people thought that Vaporeon ears were hidden somewhere, but they're actually just a bunch of mini holes at the base of their head next to their ear fins (I've called them ears the entire time, but they're really just fins. The fins help them filter sound though)
-Vaporeon's sense of smell is incredibly strong, and they can even smell things underwater!
(Art by Gabriele Vaccaro on ArtStation)

Eevee are not fond of the water. Because of this, many trainers find that they have to teach their Vaporeon how to swim.

Do you have any Vaporeon headcanons?
Vaporeon unsurprisingly need access to water, whether that be a bathtub or a kiddie pool. They get upset if they can't play around in it, and the moisture is needed to keep their skin from drying out.
They can't actually turn into water, but they can manipulate their cells in a way that makes them virtually invisible in water and more liquid-like in their movements
They're somewhat infamous for collapsing into puddles when pouting.
The bigger the fin around their neck, the older the individual is thought to be.
They have both lungs and gills, and can switch freely between the two.
They are the preferred Eeveelution of those with allergies, as they have no fur and therefor are hypoallergenic.
Vaporeon are known to be playful and very frisky. They can and will push their trainers into pools so they can play together.
It's said that you can tell if your Eevee wants to evolve into a Vaporeon if they start trying to go outside in the rain and refusing to get out of the bathtub.

Star Trek TOS characters + Eevee evolutions!
Kirk: Jolteon (male). It matches his color scheme (yellow or green) and it’s full of energy and determination. Loves to play.
Spock: Espeon. Most of the time it can be seen curled up on his lap or at his desk. Can sense the thoughts and feelings of others. Espeon, as a species, is very popular among Vulcans for its telepathic abilities, hence why Spock chose it as his partner.
Bones: Vaporeon. If there was a Ground or Rock type Eeveelution, I’d give him that, since he seems very down-to-earth. But Vaporeon does have the highest HP of any Eeveelution, and matches Bones’ blue uniform.
Uhura: Umbreon— and a very friendly one at that! Like all of Uhura’s Pokémon, Umbreon understands commands in several languages. Uhura also has a Sylveon, shown below.
Scotty: Flareon (female). Chronologically, she is the oldest Pokémon aboard the Enterprise, at thirty Earth years. (My headcanon is that the Eevee line is long-lived.) Is the recipient of many treats and “who’s a good girl?” compliments from the whole engineering team.
Sulu: Leafeon (female). It’s a grass type, so it’s perfect for a botany nerd like Sulu. One of its dex entries also states that the edges of its tail are blade sharp.
Chekov: Glaceon (male) Very temperamental. Has been known to use Ice Beam on anyone who disturbs him. Otherwise, he is the best Pokémon on the Enterprise (or so Chekov says.)

Additions/Headcanons of Eeeveelution Squad
I think I've talked about this before but when rereading Eeeveelution Squad(I'm not done), I realized just how much there could have been. Each character at the start had their own unique quality which could've built up to make interesting dynamics, relationships, etc.
Long story short, I think Eeveelution Squad had a lot of potential and in the comic I'm sort of developing with "Red and Blue/Alan Au", I think I could also introduce extra ideas on how each member of the Eeveelutions could have been.
So I'm just going to write the ideas here(Quick thing, I'm not trying to put down the author of Eeeveeluton Squad for their writing, personally and despite the flaws, I'm fine with the way it is but I just think there could've been a lot more ideas if given the chance but it's the author's choice, not the fans):
Starting with the main trio(Speed, Flare, and Kris) as there is going to be a lot...
Speedy: The main protagonist with your average propagandistic qualities like interesting backstory mixed with being dense to an extreme degree(honestly, I think the endless punches to the head will do that to you) and also have OP abilities. Now, one thing that always stuck out to me is how Speed was then and also his level difference between the other members. Correct me if I'm wrong, the dude is like level 98 or at least his 90's in leveling. Now, in case you hadn't read the comic, there are a ton of things that Speed could have easily dealt with if he bothered too. Every time Glaceon hits him, it's shown that he doesn't dodge and the one time he did, he didn't even mean to. Speed had also been shown to actively try to turn away any sort of conclusion that he is "Speed" and not any other Jolteon similar to his interaction with Gai.
Now here was the idea that could've happened. Acting and specifically avoiding his past. I think something that could've be shown was that Speed is sort of purposefully doing this. What if he was so hell bent in hiding his past that he acts weaker than he normally is, more air-headed than he normally would think, and would insist to be called "Jolteon" than his real name. It would be an interesting irony as the dense protagonist is secretly using that description to his advantage, to make sure nobody would know. It would get to the point where the other Eeveelutions would start piecing things together but Speed's mental state, through months of insults, punches, throws, slaps, etc., starts crumbling. With sort of idea of his character it makes him more interesting as he would go from someone stupid getting straight up physically abused to someone who wants to desperately keep away his past and live a peaceful life on the cost that he hurts himself and allows others to hurt him. The events could work similarly too, case in point when Black is yelling at Speed about him being a liar, Speed just stands there, almost hopelessly yet nonchalantly like he honestly he gave up caring. Then there's the moment where Sylvia and Lazuli are trying to convince Speed that he has a soul but Speed doesn't listen to them. Which makes sense, why would he? The whole time, these two "liked" and "loved" him but so far, all Speed has seen was well...the punches, slaps, arguing, unconsented kissing, and much more.
Solarflare: I liked how he was, it was fun seeing the irony of a Flareon(a fire-type) like gardening so much. I also think his backstory with how he evolved and the fact that he is infected with the beserk virus is also something interesting. But I think one missed opportunity was revealing the beserk virus to the other characters(or rather them finding out). Sometimes the story switches from treating him being infected as "add-on" to make him more easier to differentiate while other times it feels like he's the main character. Now going back, it would've been interesting to see how the other Eeveelutions react to Flare going manic with a red eye and suddenly having super strength. Honestly, instead of including CC, I think it should've been Flare that becomes a danger. Case in point, Flare's reaction to chocolate would catch the eye of someone like Sylvia and because she can't take a hint for her life sometimes to stop, she would pressuring Flare to eat it. Flare because of his honest and innocent nature, unfortunately says that he's not exactly allergic but it's not like he could tell her why he can't. Sylvia continues to pressure and...Flare ends up getting chocolate shoved in his mouth and through the stress, obsession, and now anger, he breaks.
Later the other characters might react differently based on how they are. Black would be distrusting and confused as hell, Pearl might be wary but try to calm everyone down, Leaf would be shocked seeing this new side of Flare, Lazuli is questioning on Speed and his family, Sylvia would also be shocked and scared of Flare, and Kris would be very close to b*tch slapping Sylvia.
Chrystal: Speaking of Kris, I explained a bit about her in a earlier post but to add on to that, I think she would first come out as an annoying sister who likes pulling pranks on her siblings but when things start going bad like Flare is getting hurt or forced-fed chocolate, she can turn off the laid-back and playful attitude to complete seriousness as I believe it would make sense that ever since the incident causing the evolution of Kris and Flare, Kris began having a bit more of a backbone as she realized that her brothers can genuinely be hurt by her actions and despite it, they both still care for her.
Now for the trio themselves, I'm surprised they don't stick around each other as often similarly to how Leaf and Lazuli are shown to stick together for a decent bit. I think their dynamic of playful older sister, soft yet can be dangerous little brother, and the protective, stern yet lenient older brother who is sick of their stupidity but can also be just dumb as them at times would've been funny to see. Also, it would've been fun to see how each of the three have something they neglect to tell the other two to not worry them which could eventually lead into a bit of a divide as they have the feeling of distrust and confusion.
There was also a bit of missed interactions like Flare and Black(Black would act like Frost/Older brother to Flare), Kris and Pearl(Very mature but stuck dealing with someone who 90% isn't), and Speed and Leaf(Leaf turns down Speed's confession and they don't really talk again, like Speed does garden as well, you're telling me Speed had not bothered to ask Leaf to help)?
One last thing before I end this off...reasonably speaking, I'm surprised that Sunshine spends so much time with the other Eeeveelutions compared to Kris and Flare. I mean...I do like Pearl acting motherly for Sunshine but dang, you would think if Speed is not there, she would gravitate closer to the only other two pokemon she knew her whole life so far, right?

something that always made the eeveelution hunt plotline feel extra pointless to me is the existence of the eeveelution lab in the first place. like…. all the eeveelutions are there. chloe’s eevee has already met all of them. the whole point is that eevee cant choose an eeveelution because she likes them all too much. so…. whats the point of chloe taking her….. to meet even more eeveelutions? isnt that just gonna reinforce her indecisiveness? whats it gonna change?
why does chloe have to travel to meet the eevees when she can ask for info from the lab, anyways? shes apparently got a whole gaggle of eevees ready next door. does it really make a difference if she meets a vaporeon in hoenn vs kanto in the version of the pokemon world presented in jn?
#dont answer that with ‘’well in my headcanon kantonian and hoennian vaporeons are very different-‘’ im talking abt pure canon material#echoed voice#jn lb#even when jn was airing i was like ‘’… how is this different from the eeveelutions eevee already knows?’’

Decided to do these bust up drawing of the 5th hero and his three potential brides.
Headcanons on how they evolved: Madason/Abel - Evolved during the first timeskip (when he was enslaved at Crocodilopolis with Harry) at night. His growing friendship with Harry during nighttime (the only form of break they ever got during those ten years) eventually allowed him to evolve into an Umbreon (scenario suggested by @rock-the-illuminary so shoutout to him).
Bianca - The item shop owner in Stockenbarrel found a bunch of evolution stones but couldn't find use for selling an Ice Stone that he found, so he let Bianca off with it for free (this was a hard one to think up, but thank you SWSH for changing Glaceon's evolution method so I didn't have to brainstorm a scenario for her to find an Ice Rock). Also just worth noting that one of her “hair bangs” is shorter than the other.
Nera - Shortly before her 16th birthday, while at the Heaven's Above Abbey, she found a Water Stone washed ashore. This was what she wanted to become so she touched it and evolved.
Debora - She stayed at the Briscoletti residence because of her spoiled attitude. She'd frequently be showered and spoiled even further by the servants (which she'd often use either Charm or Baby Doll Eyes on them). She managed to evolve into a Sylveon from this despite seemingly ludicrous to do so.
Kinda funny how I drew them as cats back in 2021, and now I'm drawing them as veevees (but the veevees are still foxes in my eyes, minus Espeon).

So, Aoi befriended this wild Vaporeon, and it seems to be no big deal. It behaves for the most part, apart from the fact that it seems to have a certain disdain for Pokeballs and will swat away any that are thrown at it. However, turns out this particular Vaporeon is part of a larger tribe of Vaporeons and water-oriented Eevees, who are very friendly- befriend one of them, you befriend the whole tribe! So now she has 250-ish Vaporeons and Eevees who constantly shower her with affection, which would be all well and good, except a lot of them don't know when to stop, and will follow her into class for cuddles. Headcanons for how she deals with this?
awww cute
Hina didn’t really know what was happening with Vaporeon until it was already a done deal. “It,” of course, being a lifelong friendship with over two hundred Vaporeon and Eevee.
They were all so cute, and she loved swimming and playing with them. It was so cool to see how they worked together as a little (well, big) tribe, especially since they weren’t all too far from Hope’s Peak.
The biggest issue wasn’t necessarily an issue, but there were at least a dozen or so that would follow her to class to keep cuddling with her. It was surprising the first time, but she’d since gotten used to it.
It meant she wasn’t able to concentrate as well during class, but she made a deal with them. They could come in during free periods, so long as she could actually focus on her work.
It would be nice to introduce her other friends more properly, but the Vaporeon and Eevee were a bit wary of other people. After all, trust needed to be earned by all.

What are the kids favorite Pokémon and is there any reason why it’s their favorite?
Aiden’s favorite Pokémon is Blastoise! No one is totally sure why; as a little kid, he just fell in love with Blastoise. He always says Blastoise is “so cool and strong and awesome” but that’s as best of an explanation as anyone’s ever gotten out of him. In reality, Misty’s love of water types had an influence on Aiden’s adoration of Blastoise. From a young age, Aiden knew his mother loved water types and had all water types. So when he first ever saw Blastoise, his first thought was “mama would really like him” and so Aiden decided he’d have one someday to impress her.
Growing up, Michelle would never really be able to pick one single favorite Pokémon. She’d go through a couple of different phases of which ones were her favorites, all for varying reasons. As a little girl, she absolutely adores Ponyta because Ash always takes her to see them on a farm in Pallet Town. She also loves Piplup and Vaporeon because of how close she is to Dawn’s and Misty’s respectively. She’s also always loved Pichu (learning that it’s the baby version of Pikachu wins her over instantly) and as she gets older, that ultimately becomes her favorite Pokémon.
Elizabeth’s favorite Pokémon is Teddiursa, and pretty much has been since day one. Ash got her a stuffed Teddiursa as her first gift the day she was born, meaning Elizabeth has had that toy her entire life. She brings it everywhere with her and cannot sleep without it, and has always considered “Teddi” to be her best friend. Because of this, and although she loves just about every single Pokémon known to man, Teddiursa is Elizabeth’s absolute favorite Pokémon and she dreams of one day having a real life Teddi.

Eeveelutions Mating Habits
All eevee eeveelutions mate in the winter. After a gestation period, the eevee or eevelution will lay 1-10 eevee eggs, with the average being 5. Depending on where they live depends on where the eeve will be born. But did you also know? The area that they're born in can also affect how the eevee itself looks?
Example: Eevee hatched in the snowy areas have lighter colored fur, Eevee hatched near lakes or beaches have more flamboyant fur and a streamlined appearance, eevee hatched in Rocky areas are more rugged, and so forth.

Which is the biggest eeveelution? The least cuddly?
Individual heights can vary from individual to individual, but in general, Umbreon tend to be the biggest height-wise. Vaporeon are second largest, but they tend to be heavier because they pack on insulating fat (like Seel) in colder regions.
Glaceon tend be be fairly aloof and not overly affectionate. Jolteon are also hard to cuddle with, but that's because of their spiky fur rather than any unwillingness on their part.

PokeMas - Wrong Number, Who This?
I had only two reasons to get Pokemon Masters EX: 1. Ingo & 2. Emmet. Since I met Lear, I added a third reason: mess with this man every chance I get, because I can’t stand entitled men who thinks it’s okay to just throw around insults. 😇
Lucky me, an opportunity came up quite quickly:
BTW PokeMas isn’t canon to Ansy’s timeline, since it doesn’t seem to be canon in general. Also Ikrit’s not here because the mister has his own gacha games he plays (Fire Emblem Heroes, etc). This IS my headcanon for finally finding Emmet though - got Ingo on my first 11 ticket draw, so he & Ansy wandered around doing the PML quest until they found Emmet.
Now to do the same song & dance now that their classic Subway Boss look has become available again XD All aboard!
PS: If Ansy was in PokeMas! Her default partner would be Rain (Vaporeon) of course, & if people thinks she deserves a Sygna Suit lol, definitely Sora (Castform). Skye (Altaria) might be some alternate costume maybe (again, if people like her enough!)
