I made a game for the Vampire: The Masquerade Jam 2022. It’s an ARG style customer service game. It’s currently in demo and would be thrilled if you want to check it out.

canon selfie my social media influencer Toreador, Juno, took like a year BEFORE his death/embrace
the reality of being a vampire does not live up to his expectations. he's especially not pleased that he died in his Denny's uniform, or that he's accidentally committed murder
(due to having a grand total of three willpower, this pathetic guyfailure autofails most hunger frenzy checks, apparently!) (he also has stigmata!)

Show Questions from the Storyteller Conclave Episode on Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy
During the show we were on, which you can listen to here, here, here, or here, we didn't have time to get to all of the audience questions on-air, so @ashweather and I went and answered them in the discord server.
Here they are.

Idea: if being a vampire is a “curse” or if it represents some kind of tormented state in the world of your game, maybe vampires do have a reflection but they can’t see it for themselves. This also simplifies the magical physics of the world - light interacts with the vampire and the mirror normally, but the mind of the vampire prevents them from seeing their reflection. It’s a metaphor for losing your identity rather than the “purity of silver” that the classic trope would suggest. These vampires would not be able to see themselves in pictures or video for the same reason.
Now, this might seem like a powerful upgrade to the undead. After all, the would-be vampire hunters can’t tell a human from a vampire at first glance. But a new and better technique has evolved. Simply tell a suspected vampire that they have a stain (“is it wine? Or maybe tomato soup?”) on their face. Be incredibly unhelpful as the person tries to wipe it off (“a little to the left… nope, still there”) until they have to go look at a mirror. Real vampires won’t want to walk around with bloody evidence on their faces, so you can usually detect them this way.

I had an idea to set a Vampire the Masquerade game in the Tower City (Cleveland) food court and I gotta be honest here: the 5th edition sourcebook sucks complete ass. Too much style over substance.
I'm annoyed enough that I MIGHT switch to Monsters of Murika, which is based on D&D 5e rules.
