Mainly due to the fact that Vampire Hunter D is more niche. There is very limited visual media to be shared but we will do our best.

The original creator of this blog. Been a fan of VHD since about 2015 after stumbling across it on YouTube. I have been hooked ever since. I'm more of silly fangirl type who loves seeing people's art they make. Mostly though, I'm a Gaara obsessed weirdo trying to survive the hellscape that is this planet. I will do my best to not shit my random thoughts. <3

I’ve only read 2 volumes of the Vampire Hunter D series and I genuinely wish that Hideyuki Kikuchi either scraped any and all romantic subplots in the series (and that’s coming from a nearly exclusive romance reader) or kept ONLY ONE romantic interest that showed up consistently throughout the series. Not a bunch of random women who fell in love with him on sight.

I will never forgive him for giving Dolores ‘virgin instincts’.

And ya know, I want him to stop bringing up how fucking hot D is every five seconds.

All that being said the plot and world building is incredibly interesting and I want to read more of it, but I can only handle so much “handsome young man with an unworldly beauty”

Audio Book that I’m listening right now:

Listing to Vampire Hunter D Volume 1 right now, while doing notes for online class or doing something around the house. I like that it feels like a radio story being told, but it’s audio book of a light novel. It’s interesting so far, I heard of the movie, but never seen it. But I am enjoying the story so far.

Will never forgive the first Vampire Hunter D novel for establishing the main female character as a cool action girl with a distinct weapon, have her spend the whole novel getting pushed around by guys and not being able to fight them, and then in the final act she gets mind controlled by the villain and instead of a tense and emotional fight between her and D she stands in the corner and does nothing.
