It was a late Wednesday afternoon and y/n had been waiting with her three year old son, Mari, in the hospital waiting room for 4 hours now.

She was mid chopping carrots for dinner before she received a call from her daughter’s school saying that she was escorted to the hospital after spraining her wrist.

The curly haired mother wasted no time and quickly picked up her son and made her way to the hospital.

And that’s how she ended up in her current position.

After many agonising hours, a young nurse popped up in the room, calling out y/n’s name. She grabbed mari’s hand and made her way to the room.

As she entered, she ran straight towards her daughter, carefully wrapping her arm around her and tenderly kissing her temple.

She was so worried, she didn’t even notice the fine man wrapping a bandage around her daughter’s arm.

“Lottie, baby, what happened”

Charlotte looked up at her mother with a smirk before groaning in annoyance at the multiple kisses being left on her face.

“Mom stop, I’m okay I promise”

She then explained how as she climbed to the top of the jungle gym, she stepped on puddle from last night’s rain, causing her to slip and fall on her arm.

“There’s nothing to worry about Mrs lake, Charlotte will just have to stay in her cast for the next for weeks” the handsome doctor said.

Y/n was kind of embarrassed of her messy curls and sweatpants in comparison to the man’s well groomed appearance.

“It’s not mrs lake anymore, I’m divorced, it should be changed” she stated in embarrassment. She also surprisingly didn’t notice the sigh of relief that the blonde had let out.

“That’s understandable, don’t worry”

“Mom, when I go back to school, I’m gonna be so popular” the nine year old girl said as she grinned.

“You definitely will. She handled the pain like a champ. Almost thought she was immune or something” Carlisle chuckled; not removing his eyes from the woman in front of him.

He then made his way to his drawer, pulling out two strawberry flavoured lollipops and giving them to the kids with a high five.

Y/n smiled softly in response leaving Carlisle in a haze.

After all of his years of life, he had never felt this way for anyone.

Sure he had a small fling with Esme, but they both realised that they better stay friends.

“Anyways, thank you so much Dr Cullen, you’re a life saver” y/n said after glancing at his name tag to confirm who he was.

“Call me Carlisle” he said with a genuine curve at the lips.

“Call me y/n”

It was a Saturday, just over two weeks had now passed and y/n’s mother had taken the children for the weekend; allowing the the woman to take a long bath, sleep in, deep clean and get her hair done.

Y/n was now at the local supermarket, fifteen minutes into deciding if she should take the last instant coffee or the one of many ground coffee.

As she reached for the instant coffee, she was met with a rather cold hand, causing her to yelp slightly.

“Great minds think alike huh?” She recognised the voice. As she turned, she was met with the familiar amber eyes of the handsome doctor from the other week.

He wore a white button up, navy quarter zip, navy dress pants and a grey scarf.

Even though he dressed like her grandpa, she had to admit that he was fine as.

“Cat got your tongue?” He smirked menacingly.

Carlisle didn’t know where he suddenly got all of this confidence from, but as far as he’s concerned, the woman in front was the catalyst.

“Sorry Carlisle, you know what, you have it, I’ve got enough left for a cup at home” she mentioned while taking her hand off of the box.

Carlisle ran his tongue over his teeth before grabbing the coffee and putting it in her basket.

He also took it as an opportunity to get really close to her face. Close enough that they could feel each other’s breaths.

“You have it love. You can make it up to me with the permission to take you on a coffee date”

She stood there like a deer in headlights before muttering a soft ‘sure’.

“See you soon y/n” he winked and left the isle.

The remaining two weeks passed agonisingly slow and y/n was walking hand in hand with her children through the hospital door.

Oddly, they only had to wait 10 minutes before being summoned to Carlisle’s room.

As she walked in, she spotted him already waiting for her with a gleaming smile.

Before y/n could greet him, Charlotte was running up to him, desperate to remove the cast covered in hearts and signatures.

“Dr Cullen!” She shouted in glee.

“Hey Champ, you ready to remove this cast?”

She nodded urgently.

Carlisle helped her sit on the hospital bed provided and started the procedure. Even though it took well over half an hour, everyone was chatting the whole time so nobody was bored.

Lottie was now playing with her brother, now having two free arms.

Carlisle and y/n stood next to eachother watching them.

“Look y/n I really wanna get to know you and the past few weeks, I haven’t been able to get you out of my head. I’d still like to take you out for a drink if you’d like”

Y/n smiled like a child as she nodded her heard, curls bouncing at the movement.

“I’m free next Friday night if that’s okay?”

“Perfect”

She kissed his cheek quickly and shyly.

“Cmon kids let’s go”

She hurried out.

“Bye Carlisle” they all said at different times.

And for once, Carlisle felt… whole.

Y/n was in a top secretive base working on a project she believed in science and and nothing. She grew up religious the so sometimes she wonderes but than she doesn't care if god real or not cause it's not something she can prove. The expiremnent she working on is big like with circle technology they haven't seen before but she apart of the team wear they leap throw different realities and the science doesn't make sense at all. One day she was in the middle of what they've just called earth 666 lucky number that is lol. She was in the middle of getting somewhere all the sudden there was an explosion I guess she dead than. She in the dark void told yeah god not real ha my theory in the afterlife was right I guess. When all the sudden i heard screaming and loud sound and I wake up but my hand and feet are so small and I look at the person who is holding me. Yelp I guess I am a baby after all dam. Guess I gotta think again i look at my right to see another little baby guess where twins after all. My mother tells us our names y/n swan and my sister bella swan why the fuck do these names sound familiar.

Something interesting about Twilight is that the main group of vampires aren't even like THAT old?

I mean yeah there are Carlisle and Jasper who are more the ages you'd expected vampires to be in a story like this; well into their immortality, long past the time they might have lived if they had stayed human. But even then compared to Amun and Kebi, or the Denali sisters, or the Volturi leaders, Jane and Alec, Demetri, even most of his friends, Carlisle's like . . . a teenager. Jasper's barely a tween.

The others are little vampire babies! The books take place in 2005. Esme, the next oldest, was born in 1895. If she had stayed human theoretically she could have still been alive. She'd be 110, but it's possible. Alice and Edward were both born in 1901. They're each 104. Again, unlikely, but within the realm of possible for a human lifespan. Rosalie and Emmett were born in 1915. They'd be 90. We're getting into "yeah I have a relative that age" territory now.

They aren't that old. They've barely tasted immortality. Sure they've seen a lot of social change and everyone they knew in their youth is dead, but that's the same sort of experience that 105 year old grandpas in a nursing home have had. There were cars and telephones when five of the Cullens were human. They went to the movies. They aren't all that old.

He just likes to be nearby

So cuddling up to your side is no burden to him

He'll ask a lot if you're too cold or if you want him to move

He just wants you to be comfortable

After you've established that you do, indeed, like his cuddles, expect them all the time

If the time or place allows him to be right by your side, he is there

"Hey I just rented a new movie, do you wanna come over and watch it?"

She's a pretty energetic person

So I feel like she'd need to either be doing something or talking

So yes she will cuddle, but she needs the TV on

She loves being so close though

She doesn't mind if you fall asleep, she'll keep talking

But especially if it's late at night, she loves being so close to you

Btw she's the little spoon or literally laying on top of you

I would recommend investing in a nice heated blanket

He strikes me as the type to be able to stare at a wall for hours on end and not get bored

So he doesn't mind laying with you the whole night

He would lay in one spot for days if you wanted him to

He would be so happy when you asked him the first time though

He has a bit of a hard time grasping that you actually do love him, so small reminders like this go a long way

Is another one who's hyper-aware

Constantly making sure you're comfortable

He would find your even breaths and calm mind soothing

It's his new favorite couples activity btw

Rosalie:

I've mentioned it before but I think she's active at all hours

Either she's at school, hunting, or working on her cars

She just doesn't like to be bored

So cuddling isn't her favorite

Not to say she won't do it

Just that she won't do it for super long stretches of time

She'll cuddle for a movie, or until you go to sleep

But then she likes to get back to doing something

It's understandable, you can go to sleep, she can't

If you ask her to, though, she will stay the whole night

And she won't complain

She also doesn't have a preference on cuddling position

He's definitely more into like casual cuddling

Does that make sense?

Like he loves holding you close on the couch while he's watching a game

And he loves sitting you in his lap when he's playing a card game or doing homework

But he doesn't really like laying in bed for hours

He just gets restless

He wakes you up throughout the night because he moves so much

But on the bright side, if he was able to sleep he'd be a loud ass snorer so at least you don't have to deal with that

Summary: Bella causes a stir when voicing her opinion on two vampires.

It was a quiet day in Forks. An even quieter one in the Cullen house. Rosalie and Emmett out shopping,Alice and Issy Painting, Esme and Carlisle quietly organising the book shelf. Then there was Jasper and Y/n lounging in the love seat in the garden, passively watching creatures scurry past.

“Do you remember when we met?” Y/n softly spoke as she looked up at her mate whose face broke into a wild smile. “I certainly do Darlin, 1940 I was staying with Peter and Charlotte after hearing about new ways. I was reading a news paper trying to control my thirst. Then along came the most angelic being i’d ever seen Y/n Marisol Cullen.” y/n laughed before her husband carried on. “You walked over to me, Said you could help with my situation. I felt this intense feeling of wholeness when you touched my arm. That’s when i knew.” Y/n began “I felt like i’d finally found the missing piece” Jasper held his wife tightly. “And long story short your stuck with me for all eternity Darlin” Y/n Relaxed into Jaspers chest. Relishing in the peace and quiet.

Suddenly Jasper tensed up causing Y/n to lift her body off his and follow hi u s gaze. That’s when the smell of Bella hit her. Rolling her eyes she sighed. “Here she is little miss Florida” Jasper half heartedly chuckled. He Began to open his mouth before a hand being slapped over it. Y/n motioning to shush.

“Are you sure they are actually in love?”

“I mean Jasper looks like he’s in so much pain”

She walked in seeing Alice and Issy. “I’m guessing you heard” Issy spoke first her English accent purring. “It’s not true” Alice reassured the vampire. “Alice i’m not stupid. I know but Jaspers took it hard he’s sped off somewhere” Y/n began to walk over to the two Vampires. “I told you Bella’s a jealous girl” Issy nudged her wife. “stop” Alice whispered.

“There you are” Edward smiled walking in with Bella. “I wanted to show Bella some of your paintings” he told the married couple. “Hey Alice,Issy,Y/n” Y/n didn’t respond instead she walked further into the room sitting on the sofa to ‘read’ a magazine.

“Why’d did you say those things?” Y/n closed her magazine. Bella froze. “I mean are you that unsatisfied by Yourself and Edward’s relationship that you start making troubling little fantasy’s about mine?” Y/n stared at the human.

“You wanna know what i found so funny about your little observations?” “hmm?” “You said i’m always looking over to check if someone’s watching, i am your right. But forgive me if this is left field but have you totally lost your mind and forgotten the fact we are literal blood sucking vampires? Oh and the fact that we could be exposed any second?” Edward began to intervene.

“Y/n come on you know she didn’t mean it”

“Really because she sounded pretty set”

“you have no idea what love is Bella, your 17 years old. You have no idea what lays await for you and love in the future” Y/n walked away.

“Jaspers left” Alice told Edward. “What?why?” Edward turned to his sister perplexed. “Edward, Jaspers trying really hard” Issy spoke. “He tries so hard everyday, He worships the ground Y/n walks on and what Bella said was abit of a kick in the teeth don’t you think?” Issy gave the human girl a small glare.

“Now i’ve got to go find my husband, Please refrain from upsetting anyone else Isabella” Y/n sped up the mountains searching for Jasper. She found him. Sitting on a Rock. Watching the horses a field away run around.

“Hey Jaz” Y/n said sitting next to him on the rock. “hi” he quietly spoke. “Wanna talk about it?” Jasper thought about refusing to but he couldn’t. “I don’t want you to think i don’t love you” Jasper sighed. “I love you so much it’s almost painful. You consume my mind, Your in everything i do. When i’m talking to other students at school i’m waiting for you to join because you would love the topic. When u go to the store and i see something i have to get it because it reminds me of you. I spent 80 years suffering until i met you and i can’t even show it” Y/n had never seen her husband so upset by a few words. “Jazzy” she played with bits of his hair “ i know you love me you idiot” Y/n let out a laugh. “So does everyone else, Just because Bella said some stupid things once again doesn’t mean anything” Jasper cracked a small smile. “She does have a habit of that huh?” Y/n grinned grabbing his hand. “Home?” Jasper nodded as they both sped off.

“Jasper im-“ Bella was cut off by Jasper stepping back. “I’d prefer it if you didn’t speak to me” Jasper said before moving up the stairs. “Someone’s rubbing off on him” Emmett chuckled. “He needed it” Y/n nudged the boy. “He’s defiantly whipped i’ll tell you that” Y/n rolled her eyes. “And your not?” Emmett held his hands up. “Hey how can i not be” Rosalie grinned. “Another reason to hate Bella Yay” Edward sent the three vampires a glare. “Don’t glare at me Edweirdo, Your the reason she even met us”

Esme and Carlisle listened to the whole altercation ‘Do you remember when they actually got along. Y/n and Edward?” Carlisle asks his beautiful wife. “No i don’t, i remember when Y/n and i quote ‘tolerated that street urchin” Carlisle sighed. “We were so young then” Esme laughed “it was this morning”.

Deaf Mary-Alice is just there to be wholesome and romantic and healing and acceptance. I probably will retcon some aspects of it in the future because the idea of Jasper being "I wonder if I should kiss her. Do we still do that? Can we? Has she moved on?" And Mary-Alice being "About time."

And yes, the Jane scene mirrors STL. Jasper lost his temper in both 'verses when Mary-Alice was attacked. He's never not going to defend his girl in any verse.

I love how much you love Anathema because that fic was such a random, rogue thing that occurred. 'I'll write a fun, silly romcom where Jasper falls in love with the daughter of a mortician' was the brief, and it got out of hand. If you think I had a plan for any of it, you are sorely mistaken and we're just going by what Vibes at this point. (I mean, I've got the plot now, but we're still going with what vibes.)

What I'm hearing is that I need to make this my Fall Fic and put my head down in Australian Fall to post the first few chapters for American Fall. Hmm.

In which Jasper lost his “Star” before turning into a vampire and years later spots her with his new vegetarian family.

“Are you sure you’re ready for this?” Carlisle asked Jasper whose eyes were widened already trying to control his thirst around all the humans.

He nodded his head.

Edward and Emmett stood on either side of him.

“If it gets too much let one of us know.” Alice stood in front of Jasper with a sweet smile on her face.

The family thought Alice and Jasper would end up together due to how much he trusted her but Alice knew she wasn’t the one for him.

He mourned for his lover before them.

Before turning.

She knew that was the only woman for him.

And he was glad she understand, not having to speak on it. The pain was too much for him to bare so he kept silent about it.

“Yes, ma’am.” He smiles down at the girl, his hands laid behind him, clasped together.

“Alright, you got this.” She nods at him, getting out of their way and the three men enter together. The rest of the family behind them.

As they entered the loud building the energy switched.

Jasper focused on the music that played, watching the girls that kicked their feet and played with the bottoms of their dresses as they danced.

The men that encourage them, cheering them on.

He scanned the room, observing.

Edward furrowed his brows trying to remind them of why they were here.

Alice placed a hand on his shoulder. “Let them have fun.” She nods her head to assure him.

Edward makes eye contact with Carlisle who also allows it, taking Esme’s hand and taking her to dance.

He scoffs, staying sternly next to Jasper.

Jasper still scanned the room, not paying attention to his new family. Alice joined Jasper’s other side and took his hand.

“Want to try to dance too?” She had a lot of hope and confidence in him.

Something he could say the same for.

The blood burning his nose as he tried his hardest to hold it in.

“I don’t know, honestly.” He answers her, his nose flaring but he tries to hold it in.

“You got this, trust me.” She pulls him onto the dance floor as well.

Alice begins to twist her hips, following the rhythm of the music.

“C’mon!” She encourages, now kicking her feet and moving his arms for him.

“I don’t know how to dance.” He begins to smile.

“Just follow my lead.” She gets more into and he finally follows suit, the burning in his nose still there but she distracts him from it.

Edward still stood there, solemnly.

Watching Jasper’s every move, making sure he doesn’t get caught up and switch like a light.

As Jasper dances, he glances around again.

A shine of a light flashes on a man and he stares at the guy for a little bit before moving alone onto the next thing.

This time his eyes spot a lady.

A lady who looks oddly familiar.

Her hair bouncing as she dances and laughs.

Time freezes for him. Alice notices his change in posture. His moves slow down.

“Jasper?” She turns to see what he’s looking at. Edward comes up to them, pulling them off the dance floor.

“What happened?” Edward aggressively questions.

“I- I don’t know.” Alice stammers, Jasper’s eyes don’t leave the girl he saw.

“Jasper, what’s going on?” Edward grabs onto the mans shoulders.

“I see her.” Is all that leaves his lips.

“See who?” Alice asks, gently pushing Edward out of the way.

“My star.” He whispers, shoving past Alice and Edward, the girl left the dance floor and to the bar.

He stays feet away but watch her every movement just like Edward was doing to him.

But for him, he was trying to see if it’s true.

If it’s his star. As she got her drink, Edward grabs onto him once again.

“Jasper, you can’t do that.” Glaring at the man who doesn’t seem to be there. Not paying attention to his “brother.”

She’s on the move once again, a man beside her this time. She’s flirting with him and Jasper feels a pang in his chest.

She laugh and he hears it for a split second. That’s how he knew, it’s her.

It’s his star.

She grabs onto the man’s shirt that she’s flirting with and guides him outside into the back of the building. Jasper realizes he needs to get Edward off of his back.

He looks around trying to find something to do so. Alice watches Jasper’s movements and then she gets a vision.

Holding onto the wall once it’s over.

She grins and goes over to Edward.

“Eddie!” She laughs vibrantly, grabbing onto the boy and spinning him around. “Please dance with me!” She then spins herself with his hand. “Alice, now’s not the time.”

“When ever is there a time, Edward.” She pouts, then glances at Jasper and widens her eyes, telling him to go as she distracts the boy.

He mouths a “thank you” before rushing off. Following who he believes is his lover.

He exits the building, now being quiet.

He looks around for her. Not spotting her as the wind blows in the air. The moon shining down on him and the body of water ahead.

He takes a few steps out, he hears some noises of a man whimpering, gargling his own blood.

The blood smell fills Jasper’s nostrils.

He feels enticed by it, his body moving slowly towards the dying body feet away from him. It’s the man that she came out with.

It’s the same man from before.

And before he can get any closer his body flies to the ground with a thud. Someone pinning him down. “Who are you?” A voice questions, shoving him further into the ground.

The lady not getting a look at him.

He grunts, trying to fight her off. Slowly he stops fighting, trying to get a good look at her face.

“My star.” He huffs out, his hands laid next to him and her strength weakens on him. Pulling her hands back.

“Jasper?” Her voice breaks, this time he flips them over and pins her down. Not harshly.

She laughs loudly.

“My Jasper!” She squeals, not able to do anything but she kicks her feet to the ground as he stares down at her with a grin.

“[Name], I thought you were dead.” He tells her, observing every feature upon her face.

“I thought you were dead.” She lifts her head up to tell him. He lets her arms go but still straddles her waist, slightly hovering above her though.

“You’re one of them too?” He notices the blood that drips from her mouth.

“I was turned after you left, they invaded our home.” She informs him, leaning up on her elbows. He closes his eyes, shaking his head.

“I should’ve been with you.” He mentally beats himself up.

“Hey! Who’s back here?!” A voice shouts and the two scramble up. Jasper grabs her hand, yanking her away from the scene. They hide behind a vehicle as a sheriff flashes a light around the area they were just at.

He finds the body and gasps. [Name] giggles to herself, watching from the window of the car.

She looks down at Jasper with a smile, gripping his hand and she guides him to the lake in a fast movement.

“You eat humans?” He suddenly asks her. She furrows her brows. “What else would I eat, darling?” She bends down, cleaning the blood off of her face. Luckily none of it got onto her dress.

“Animals.” He responds in a quiet tone.

“Your family’s one of the vegetarians?” She sat on her knees but turned her body to his direction.

“Your’s isn’t?” He tilts his head.

“I don’t have one. I’ve been alone since they killed everyone in our village.” She hums, playing with the water.

“Everyone?” He repeats.

She then realizes how insensitive she sounds, that was his family too. “The Volturi, since everyone grew in havoc they deemed us dead. No hope for any of us to be civil enough to live out in the world.” She thinks back to her memories of when it all happened, the fire.

“I escaped without anyone realizing. I’ve been on the run for a while.” She stands up.

“Before the village was turned they told me you died. I had no reason of living. But then I was turned and I couldn’t even kill myself. It was tragic.” She places a hand on his cheek, rubbing it gently.

“Did you ever return home?” She goes to take her hand back but he grabs it, keeping it on his face. Cradling her hand.

“No, she told me you were dead and I couldn’t bare to see your name on a grave.” He spoke softly.

“She?” She furrows her brows.

“Maria. She turned me. Made me her personal soldier after she told me you were dead.” He closes his eyes trying to fight back the memory of him falling to his knees when he found out his star was dead.

“I’ll kill her.” Venom laces in [Name]’s voice but Jasper chuckles.

“She’s dead, my Star.” He shakes his head.

“Good, she’ll never experience my torture.” She half-jokes. Knowing there’s some truth to it.

“Never leave my side again.” He kisses her hand, pulling her into his arms.

“Never again.” She agrees, laying her head on his chest. It was cut off by yelling.

“Jasper!” His siblings were looking for him, he grabbed [Name], holding her close to him as the family found the man.

“Who is this?” Rosalie was the first to question. Esme held Carlisle’s hand. Alice clapped her hands.

“It’s her!” She grinned. Jasper gave the shorter girl an earnest smile.

“Her?” Rosalie gave a dirty look, still confused. “It’s [Name], his passed lover.” Carlisle announces.

Edward then lets it all hit him.

That’s why he was acting weird in the building. Relief also hits him when he doesn’t see blood all over him. Just a little on the girl next to him.
