I'm re-watching Being Human and it makes me GO INSANE. I love these 3 bisexuals like crazy, I've never loved a cast of characters more. They're literally perfect I love them

Always loved this wallpaper in George’s room, but only upon this rewatch it dawned on me where these gnomes come from: the Dutch The Secret Book of Gnomes book series illustrated by Rien Poortvliet. Which had a cartoon series in the 80s The World of David the Gnome.

In the behind the scenes video about the Pink House the set designer talked about how the thought would be that George ended up in a kids’ room by tossing a coin and that it was always too small to contain his werewolf. And it’s probably not a coincidence that the age of innocence ended for the trio in the episode when we see this wallpaper for the last time – in the end of the said episode Mitchell becomes the leader of the Bristol vampire clan and it’s the beginning of the end for all of them basically.

But also, going back to The World of David the Gnome (and the book series), it’s interesting how it ends with the death/transition to the afterlife of David, his wife Lisa and their friend. With their fox friend mourning them and then moving on, meeting another gnome and his friend fox. It’s obviously a coincidence, but still very interesting, how Mitchell, George and Nina died and Annie was left to mourn them and then befriending Tom and Hal. Or even how the trio (Mitchell, Annie and George) left the show and we had a new trinity (Hal, Tom, Alex).

I’m watching being human for the first time and I’m on the season one final “but there was this” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! The supernatural is a metaphor for love actually.

lemme just say i do not like the way they killed nina (off screen!) and george. no respect for these characters smh. the whole story was written in a way that made it seem that george and nina are important characters (which they are) but then they get killed off in ways more insignificant that the ways in which one kills off side characters! it's nina and george for god's sake!!! put some respect!!
