Stormy Fic Recs - Vampire AU Edition

In this most recent entry into @legends-shorts Count Darkula/Vamp!AU series love is something you do with your teeth, we all get to fall in love with one of the first vampires and her original hero, the Hero of Legend.

The entire series is pretty baller, honestly. If you love Legend, you want more modern AU Ravio, and you aren't afraid of a little gore, please sharpen your silverware and dive right in. Might I recommend i'm not good at keeping myself tame for some extra-special Raviolink spice? You gotta be signed in for that one, babes.

Jumping back in time a bit to before Link returned to Hyrule. With a bit more of an insight as to how his relationship with the previous Princess ended... Not well as it turns out.

Also been making some original characters to fill out the cast, introducing two of them here. Monoke is one of Ganondorfs oldest allies (if not his actual oldest spawn...and sister. Yes this Ganondorf was also born to the Gerudo-tribe, making Monoke another Gerudo.) Loga is Monoke's spawn, and Lorulean ex-royalty... Great-great uncle (or something) to Princess Hilda. Whom I also have plans for don't you worry.

I had ideas for a few of the staff already and rambled in tags but I forgot where. Did not forget the ideas though ! I'm using this au to love some of the characters more tbh and Vargas' design is so underwhelming to me in the game :') I feel like I can appreciate him a bit more if I draw him like that idea I had in mind, big bowser like creature from legends of southern France (but centaurified in this case) dw he's never cold he's too strong to be cold yeye Vamp trein was so obvious to me, look at this gentleman, very sophisticated, excellent poise. Ugh these youngsters making bloody messes nowadays, refinement is dead... Ah lucius his beloved batcat he does understand at least... (maybe) Sleep paralysis Crowley, I saw a close up of his eyes once and never recovered it's kinda terrifying so yeah.... He yaps the night away while you can only listen in horror, unable to move. Choosing for Crewel is still hard because he slays in every option... 😔 keeping both outfits for him whatever will be the last decision honestly. If he's a hunter he's independent from the church, self made hunter. If vampire will be so fucking annoying with Trein (assuming they share a mansion alongside Sebek and Riddle.) And finally Cocatrix Sam because that's a cool creature, snake rooster !! He can lay down in a regular bed, unlike Vil. I can see him hanging out w/ Azul from time to time, magic shenanigans and stuff (I was this close to make another water based creature (mélusine, non pas la sorcière rousse))

Okay... But what vampire lore we goin' with here? Personally, I'd go the route of the Lugat. Because they essentially raise themselves from the dead to pursue something that they wanted in life, which... Very Ganondorf if you ask me. They're also not technically members of the undead as they are alive again & can thus reproduce. However, their children are referred to as Dhampires, which have unique abilities of their own. It's one of my favorite types of vamps.

American remains- Ghost au

Ponyboy’s tried before. He’s gotten close but never made it again to Windrexvillie on his joyrides. But sometimes, out in the fields, he still sees them…

An older, more troublesome pony continuously feels himself drawn back to the old church but never makes it the full way. He talks sense into himself and turns around… sometimes though he swears he sees Johnny or Dally out in the fields, staring at him like something out of some old cowboy story.

It’s a story about cycles and what people carry with them, what traps people. In this case grief both those who lost and the dead themselves. What makes a ghost stay?

I will be writing something for this au further down the line! But like my vamp au the world out there for anyone to use :)

This will be around a 16-17 year old ponyboy and get some focus on the Ghost boys themselves.

This one gets some inspo from just Civil war and cowboy ghost legends, seeing ghosts or snapshots of a place and time out late at night.

(I didn't have the heart to make him look all bloodthirsty, so hav a friendly vamp kae)

Rumor has it that deep within the woods lies a pristine manor that housed an immortal creature, that which feasts on the blood of humans. Most people disregard this as a myth to scare the children, but some truly believe in the existence of such a wretched creature, and some know this legend to be nothing but a kindered spirit, with a lonely heart, waiting for a companion.

The path to the manor had been destroyed years ago, trees towering over you almost blocking out the sky, enveloping you in darkness, hearing nothing but your footsteps as you made your way up the broken path. There it stood, the mansion, its windows emitting a warm light, that made it feel inviting admist the eeire backdrop.

"Invite yourself in stranger," feeling a hand on your shoulder as you got pushed into the estate. In a blink of an eye, you'd be within the mansion, feeling the coat slip off of you. You turned around to see a tall gentleman with long blue hair and icy blue eyes that held unexpected warmth, his smile bearing fangs. "Welcome, dear guest. I've been waiting for you. "

I think after some of the more recent episodes of TSAMS I am in need of updating some of the things in the Reaper King AU 💀. As I now have a few more ideas of what happens next. I guess this is the Part 8 of the AU then :)

I also now have a few VERY interesting ideas about some of the other characters in this AU and what is going on with them. Specifically Sun, Ruin and Eclipse.

Oh boy do I have some fun things here... But also some dark things.

TW: Same as before. Actually quite a bit of gore in this one... And some seriously disturbing imagery.

-Slight change to the lore of this AU, Ruin DID create Reaper Killcode... HOWEVER... this is not Ruin faking being cured, this is Ruin being cured and making a MASSIVELY BAD DECISION...

-He created Reaper KC to play the villain... So HE could defeat him and play the hero... He created Reaper with a weak spot. Essentially a hole in his chest that would have been how Ruin planned to defeat this new enemy.

-...his actions were driven by loneliness and his desire to to really become a part of the Celestial Family.

-Unfortunately the second Reaper Killcode took Stitchwraiths core and added it into the hole in his chest, it actually upgraded his body and made him into the insane threat he's become... As the core upgrades came as KC was literally it's 'Perfect Host'

-Moon discovered Ruins part in KCs revival and ran him out of the Pizzaplex in a fury.

-In spite of him having brought KC back, he was not responsible for Eclipse's revival... Or at least he's not aware of it if he is. He did kinda blackout on some alcohol and he apparently does weird things when he's drunk, soooo that's kinda up in the air at the moment.

...now to the present...

-Sun and Moon opt to go see what is up with a huge mountain range suddenly just appearing outside of the city. They stop by the ranger station and meet Harper... Who is surprised as hell at the sight of two more sentient robots. Still, she treats them politely. Tells them about the park... And the legends of how the forest is a hotbed for Cryptids. With the most feared being the 'Reaper King.'

-She also says yes, she is aware that something is weird and she's realizing she might not be in the same universe she was a few days ago...

-Honestly... Not the weirdest thing she's experienced with this job. And she wants them to be careful as this forest is notorious for its disappearances.

-She's dating and having 'Smoochy Time' with the alpha cryptid in this area. She's pretty familiar with weird... But Moon and Sun don't know that...

-Sun and Moon kinda brush the cryptid thing off and just opt to explore this place a little together. Neither are taking this very seriously as they walk deeper in.

-Things seem semi-normal... At least until they pass through one particular clearing and something catches Moons eye and he ventures off the trail to get a better look at this thing. It looks like a ghastly old tree... Only carved into it are frightening images, particularly of what looks like some strange demonic faces... Hanging from the trees are bones and the truck is slathered in blood.

-He and Sun are VERY unnerved...

-Even moreso when a herd of deer suddenly rush through the clearing... But one deer is being pursued closely by what looks like two wolves and there's something already on its back holding onto its neck... One of the creatures trips it up and the deer goes down. The animal making agonized screams as the creatures tear into it... Until finally it goes silent.

-The thing on the deers back stands it's about the height of a young boy, showing grey skin and semi-glowing eyes. And blood staining its mouth and dribbling down it's chin, while one of the pursuers stands... Showing it to look like a child version of the Wolfman, also just as bloody from the ordeal.

-They grin at each other then pet the actual wolf that was with them before looking back into the forest from where the deer heard had initially run from.

Vamp: Brothers! How was that?

Lycan: We brought it down! It's a good size! With seven points on its antlers!

-Moon and Sun are crouching down near the tree watching this scene in horror. As everything proceeds to get MUCH worse when from just beyond the treeline another figure approaches the boys and the wolf... A figure that both of the animatronics had hoped they would never see again...

...Bloodmoon...

-He approaches the group, a strange blue ball of fire floating near him as he walked, and the wolf immediately rushed up to him... Showing that it's head bore a sickening deformity, like it nearly had two heads but it never got far enough and was just a conjoined skull. But to the shock of the secret onlookers, Bloodmoon greets the animal with pets as it licks the maniacs face... That shock easily quadrupled as the Blood Twins looked to the dead deer and then brought both of his hands up and rubbed both of the boys heads.

Bloodmoon: Not a bad kill... You got this one without my help. Next time you will have to take it down without HunterKiller helping.

Vamp: Did we did ok?

Bloodmoon: You did great! It is dead after all! Very dead! (Bloodmoon puts an arm around each of the boys as they look down at the deer... And his disgusting tongue comes out and licks across his sharp teeth) And now my little brothers... We FEAST!

-Bloodmoon, the boys and the wolf immediately begin to tear into the deers carcass... The sounds... The wet sounds of the ripping and tearing of the deers flesh. The loud crunching as Bloodmoon bit into bones in order to get at the marrow... And then the boys eagerly requesting him to bite other bones, as they were unable to get marrow themselves due to their teeth and jaws not being as strong... And so much blood just splattering everywhere...

-Moon regains himself first, reaching down to get a grip on Suns shoulder... And pulling him up, but only just slightly. As not to alert the freaks just a short ways away from them.

-They need to leave... Now!

-Sun is just locked up in horror at what he just watched but he yielded to being pulled back by Moon... They both turned to creep back the way they came-

-Only to stare at the sight of a young girl made of blue flames, holding one of the deers antlers in her hand and a piece of twine. Clearly staring at the brothers in shock.

...But Sun sees something different...

...for a moment he can see the little girl as she was before she mutated into a Wisp...

-This sight triggered something in Sun, the part of his coding that sought to protect children... and before Moon could stop him, Sun grabbed the little girl up and just starts booking it as fast as possible. His intent only being to get this child away from danger...

-Wisp, understandably, starts screaming

-Its a blood chilling, eerie sound that seems to carry in all directions without losing any volume. Immediately getting Bloodmoon and the others to freeze. All of their faces thoroughly soaked in blood and gore. Bloodmoon looks around, only to spot Moon and Sun... With Sun holding his little sister and dragging her away.

Bloodmoon: WISP!!!! Let go of our baby sister!!!

-They abandon their meal and started to chase Sun and Moon. The boys, Lycan and Vamp starting to make calls, strange whooping calls into the woods as they are just... Tearing after Sun and Moon

-Wisp is struggling amidst Suns grip and crying, while Moon is just screaming at Sun to drop her. But then the little girl ignites! She badly burns Suns arms and hands. Escaping Suns grip and rushing back to Bloodmoon and the others... Actually she plowed into Bloody so hard he actually fell backwards... Buying some time for Moon to pull up Sun and start partially dragging him away.

-Sun regains himself enough to just be running alongside his brother... And he makes the fatal mistake...

Sun: I think we lost them!

-A MASSIVE Wendigo-esqe creature explodes from the nearby trees, running on all fours it lowers its head that is adorned with huge pronged antlers and rams into both Sun and Moon. Sending them cascading down a steep hill

-After hitting the ground, Moon groaned in pain but managed to get to his knees pretty quickly. Only to realize they were now outside one of the Ranger cabins near the entrance of this park... He got a brief flicker of hope for a moment, thinking they might be able to escape if they booked it from here.

-That tiny moment of hope was dashed when the Wendigo creature leapt off the hill and landed only a short ways away from them. It's skeletal head lowered and blazing eyes locked completely on the brothers...

-Out of nowhere, chains seemed to snake out from amidst the foliage and ensnared both of the Celestial animatronics. Pulling them backwards until they were slammed against a tree and further wrapped up in the chains.

-From off to the side an eerie floating spectre was revealed to be the source of the chains... A young girl, probably in her mid-teenage years became visible. Wearing a raggedy dress and a hooded shawl, the chains seemingly coming out from the shawl...

-And within a few seconds, the vampire and werewolf children... Along with Bloodmoon and the mutant wolf. The little girl made of blue fire, Wisp, was in the form of a tiny ball of flame and positioned on the top of Bloodmoons head...

Wendigo: So... What happened? It's not every day you guys let out calls for all of us to get involved in one of your hunts.

Bloodmoon: We'll tell you later, but for right now... (He turns his hateful gaze straight at the bound forms of Sun and Moon... Particularly Sun) We have an old score to settle...

oh, more halloween ep/monster au thoughts I need to share NOW or I’ll literally EXPLODE. Color coded :D

I have a list for what each Link would be, except for Sky. I don’t know what to do with him. I can only think of an angel(too basic, not weird or pop-culture monster enough imo) or a harpy(also not pop-culture monster enough imo and I don’t know who he would hold a sword, in his mouth???). Maybe he would be part dragon??? Bird thingy??? I’m not good at this. You love Sky, I know you have great ideas. Please help(only if want not forcing).

Here are what I have listed as the guys:

Wild: Frankenstein’s Monster - cause shrine and stuff

Twilight: Vampire - he’s a creature of the night and in some stories(like Dracula I think)vamps can turn into wolves. Also, Twilight joke.

Sky: Empty because I don’t know :(

Time: Half-Oni - he’s only half because of the Fierce Deity. It’s turning him into one. Also they’re like protector spirits in one source I’ve read. Only one, but I like it.

Four: Minish(The Fly 1986) - So the 1986 movie, The Fly, a guy(the mc? I don’t remember rn)basically accidentally steps into a teleportation machine at the same time a fly flies in. The guy gets a fly head now. Four has the head of a Minish now. That’s it.

Warriors: Final Girl(Human) - There’s this horror trope of a “final girl” where only one singular girl is left alive at the end of the movie. It’s kind of a meme in the slasher fandom tbh. Also the girl is only alive because of either shear luck or something else. I only have him listed as Final Girl for the meme.

Legend: Haunted Doll - he like, used to have strings, like one of those puppets. Hold up I have a picture but he also has one of those ventriloquist dummy’s mouths

Wind: Physic twin with Arryl(probs spelt this wrong but it’s fine) - Making him a sea creature would be too easy. Also, he would be kinda creepy 24/7, as those creepy twins in like The Shining are. He’s just slightly off. Also he’s physic.

Hyrule: Witch - He has spells and stuff.

I picture Wars-and humans in general-as being naturally terrified of monsters. Let me rephrase that-they are more naturally cowards in comparison to Hylians. So Wars, who has the Triforce of Courage within him, is still a bit cowardly in comparison to his fellow heroes. His slightly cowardly nature was actually helpful during the war, as he could make more rational decisions compared to his fellow Hylian soldiers. Also he was the only human to be in the Hylian Military atm, he’s the special special. I picture that even in his time, humans are uncommon in Hylian areas, with people in the army giving him the stink eye every once in a while, or them just asking why his ears are like that. Maybe he had fake Hylian ears even before he got sent off on his newest adventure, just to get everyone else to shut up.

Humans are also less durable compared to Hylians. Unfortunately for Wars, the rest were all either born as Hylians, or are very close to them. They don’t know how fragile he is. Except for Twilight, he grew up with them he knows how they are, but there’s reason for him to believe that Warriors would be stronger than most humans, to be able to handle more than most humans. There’s a reason, a very justified reason for the natural cowardice of humans. There’s a reason there aren’t many around in Hyrule.

Vampire AU - Vamp!Caitlyn VampHunter!Vi

Vampirism was a know condition within Runeterra. Many nations exile known vampires, meanwhile many nations welcome the vampires as long as there are no ill intentions. Piltover was one of those nations. A city of progress. Until the civil war between Zaun and Piltover devastated the community. Many vampires had sought refuge in the Undercity to avoid sunlight exposure, thus making the blame fall onto the vampires in Piltover's eyes. The Council's only vampire Councilor was Cassandra Kiramman, who tried her best to balance out the discourse, but the humans of Piltover were calling for Vampiric blood. So, Cassandra was able to at least save the lives of vampires by agreeing to an exile of vampires from Piltover. Many vampires fled to Zaun. Many left the area all together. But many were spiteful towards Cassandra. Attacking her manor and nearly killing her daughter, Caitlyn. Cassandra and Tobias left Piltover, but Caitlyn refused. Despite being attacked, Caitlyn stayed in the manor. She wanted to watch over Piltover and Zaun, lending her aid whenever the tensions were high. Everyone believed the Kiramman manor to be empty while Caitlyn watched from the shadows.

Spooky Season Pinned/Starter Call

Universal AUs/Verses:

Plotted 'bad end friend' type aus, depending on the muse they have ended up in a befiting bad fate villainous/victim role. Pre-existing example is my vr-Bart verse where he still thinks he is in a game and doesn't value life due to that.

Vampire aus, depending on the fandom I might have more fleshed out such as for Horror muses or twists to the formual like dc vs vampires inspired for dc vamp verses.

Ghost aus for my canonly dead muses.

Demon au, one muse is a human/witch or whatever, the other a demon. I will say depending on the muse or fandom things might be different, I'll probably end up with multiple demon aus for different fandoms at least.

Selectively post-Zombie aus, I will default to modern day settings unless told otherwise and I will use a Walking dead setup minus the walker name, zombie media would still have existed. I might be low muse or drop these as zombies are a horror I am sensitive to.

DC verses:

DC vs Vampires setup, someone in the super community has been turned into their own brand of vampire with a lot of the classic powers of a vampire and a curse to bring out the worse in a vampire, now the curse is spreading among the super community and to normal people too.

DCeased setup, a zombie-like virus started when technology was infected with a form of The Anti-Life Equation looking at screens was how the first were infected, both supers and civilians, everything is thrown into chaos and those who survived the very beginning now have to survive super powered zombies.

Horror verses:

Reversed role aus, for dbd I think it's obvious how this would work and for others it can be briefly ploted out.

Vampire au, there is a curse with a hunger for blood, it has infected many killers and former human horrors over the years bestowing them common vampire abilities and something special and horrorfyingly their own as a power. There are also humans this curse hungers far more for the blood of, these survivors and would be victims tend to band together as vampire hunters or as ghouls, aka humans who drink a vampire's blood for some weaker forms of their power.

Livevile, the muses have been kidnapped and put in a realm known as livevile, it appears as a small town with everything one could need and which has other horror characters living there. If someone is killed by another then the night will play out as normal but in the morning the dead will return to life. Now the big question is what made this place and why?

Monster Prom

The worst timeline au, this is during the end credits of the Prank Masterz ending of porm, can be canon complient or divite, also characters interduonced later are welcome on my or others side.

Dragon Age

Blighted au, this takes place in a slimmer timeline to the darkspwan dlc of origins where HOF died during the joining and the Blight got much much worse, possibly spreading to the larger world.

Bad timeline au, taking place in the bad timeline seen during the mage siding quest in dai The Herled went missing right before things started getting bad and the world is thrown into horror.

Borderlands verse

A mushroom, able to smemi control the dead and living and bring them to their feet found the body of Tyreen Calypso, who became it's head as a intelligent zombie, now the fungi is spreading among the galaxy as The Raiders try to fight it.

Payday verse

Zombie au, After the death of Bain and failure to defeat Murkywater the gang disposed of the masks and their identities within the Payday Gang, little did they know the virus that killed Bain would have his body rise to take revenge on the world of the living as he is paitent zero of a zombie virus.
