Uh, anyway, Shane is actually besties with Sam (he'd rather die than admit it though) and they constantly do things to spite Joja and Sam can actually get a good reaction from Shane with some of his jokes. Sam and him were kind of awkward at first, but after a while Sam saw him at the saloon one day and went "HEY!! MY BUDDY SHANE!! COME PLAY POOL WITH US!!" so loudly across the building that everyone turned to stare and Shane almost sped-walked out of the place out of embarrassment (he def stayed and played pool but kept his head down to avoid stares).

Sam constantly talks about funny things Shane does and Abigail and Sebastian are like, "??? The quiet, grumpy town drunk??" But after Sam dragged Shane into so many pool games, Shane loosened up and started a tournament with the old arcade games between the four of them (he kicks everyone's asses at it) and now Seb and Abbi are starting to get it.

There's a competition between him and Sam on who can steal the largest item at Joja without getting caught (Shane has the lead with the pizza he gave farmer)

After Shane stops drinking, Sam is adamant on getting Shane to like joja-cola with him (he's not winning, unfortunately)

One time, Sam bet Shane that he could drink a 12-pack of Joja-cola during one break at work and threw up everywhere from the crazy amount of carbination it has (Even though Shane cried actual tears from laughter, Sam still owed him a pizza because Morris made Shane clean it 😭)

Shane will leave Sam maple bars in his work locker when Sam is having a hard time with his family and denies that it was him (Sam knows) His excuse when caught is that he and Jaz prefer the other donuts in the pack

Shane SUCKS at comforting others, but Sam appreciates the awkward conversation because it just means his buddy is trying to be a good friend.

They both run a secret page that basically makes fun of Morris by posting bad photos or just making a meme out of him

Lately, I've been thinking about Stardew Valley and I just adore the thought of the new farmer being an age regressor while all the other farmers pretty much take care of them! I'm probably going to draw more content around this concept since I absolutely love Stardew Valley!

I'd love to know if you guys have a favorite farmer, mine is Elliott ^^

What was it like for Emily to grow up with Haley?

Hmmmm. I guess....I imagine it was pretty chill? My head canon is that they're about 5 years apart- enough of a gap that they weren't in school together at the same time and kinda always ran in different crowds doing their own thing.

I don't see them fighting per se, more Haley giving Em attitude and it just rolling off Em's back cause she doesn't take Haley seriously, lol. They probably fight more as adults as they reconnect and try to understand each other...but middle school era Haley most certainly gave a lot of sass to Em for being weird.

If there were any big conflicts, it was from them stealing each others clothes- Em knew Haley would say no on principle while Haley hated admitting she liked something Em had.

From left to right-

Lil Haley and Em- Haley looked up to her and Em loved the role of big sister, hence the cheesin'. She hand sewed the patches on the knees of her jeans, which she was very proud of.

Middle school/high school era- what's more middle school than rolled up cartoon print PJ pants lol. Em found that shirt in the little boy's section and had to have it. I imagine her hair is largely cowlicks and kinda explodes if cut short. She's also still learning sewing/construction so not at the point of wearing her own clothes.

HS/college era- Haley definitely brought lunch to school in a paper bag with a shirtless dude on it and spent a ton of time in the mornings straightening her hair, while Em was contending with unnecessary belts and owls on everything. She understood it aesthetically but still wished there were more exotic options for when you had to put a bird on it......

Help Beelsnack's Partner (UPDATE)

I know I don't make a habit of getting too personal on this blog - it's a fan blog, after all, and one that I try to keep rather positive at that. But my partner is in a bad way right now and I'm going to help him no matter what.

My partner works ridiculous hours - 12 hours a day, six days a week, and it's starting to catch up with him. health-wise. He's exhausted, can barely do anything but eat and sleep, and now, when he does sleep, he's been having what we think are stress-induced sleep-paralysis episodes. He desperately needs a break, but he doesn't think we can afford it because his job doesn't give him any sort of pto.

So, I'm taking commissions to drum up enough extra money - as close to what he makes in three days as I can - to let him rest. I love my partner to the ends of the earth and I'll do whatever I can to make sure he's happy and healthy.
