Born in Las Vegas, NV to Valentina and Gabriel Flores, Felipe was the oldest of four children. Being from a larger family meant that sometimes money was stretched thin but his parents made it work. Valentina worked as a housekeeper while Gabriel worked as en electrician.

Growing up, his mom was called down to the school a handful of times. Sometimes it was because he was in trouble for starting a fight, other times because he got hurt trying some stunt on the playground. It led to him being enrolled in various sports throughout the school year though he never stuck to one for long.

As a teen, Felipe worked summers with his dad. But not out of his own free will and although he felt annoyed having to spend his school breaks working, earning the extra money was worth it. With the help of his parents he saved up enough money to buy himself a beater truck. The condition being that he would use it to help chauffeur his sisters around which he didn't mind.

Felipe kept working with his dad throughout college, moving out and trading in his truck for a 1977 Ford F-250. When he wasn't in school or working, his free time was filled with a lot of partying and questionable decisions, including a brief marriage that was annulled within the week.

After graduation, his best friend offered him a job at his family's real estate company. Not wanting to work in the trade anymore and with no real direction when it came to a career, he accepted it. In the following years, he managed to buckle down when it came to his job, getting his licenses and building his own portfolio. Meanwhile, he had less of a handle on his personal life. It continued to be hectic and messy which carried into his next marriage, the relationship being as passionate as it was contentious with no middle ground.

Just as he approached his thirties, he experienced a heart attack, causing him re-evaluate his lifestyle and spurred his decision to move out of the city. Unfortunately his wife did not want follow and two years after moving out to Woodside on his own, he mailed the signed the divorce papers back home. It was while doing some electrical side work for the B&B that he met the previous owners who were looking to sell. Using some of his savings from his real estate investments, he decided to take ownership of Serendipity. He's been owner for a little over ten years and enjoying the slower paced scene.

Lakeside neighbors who dog-sit/house-sit whenever he needs to fly out west. He'd definitely return the favor by helping out however he can.

Attraverso i personaggi di Letts abbiamo la possibilità di confrontarci con una parte di noi, che ha a che fare con ciò che riflettiamo sulle persone che ci circondano, alle quali inevitabilmente consegniamo un pezzetto del nostro essere, fatto di tutto ciò che ci nutre e ci avvelena in quel preciso momento. Questo si arricchisce del confronto, espresso nelle maniere più disparate, e qui inizia la condivisione. Tutto questo processo sembra essere molto ammalato nella nostra epoca, sembra soffrire di un cancro incurabile, come quello alla bocca di Violet, che ci impedisce di comunicare, appunto, di ristabilire l’umana trasmissione tra gli individui». Filippo Dini si è formato alla Scuola dello Stabile di Genova e all'inizio della sua carriera di attore è stato diretto da figure importanti del teatro italiano, tra cui Carlo Cecchi, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti e Valerio Binasco. Al cinema ha lavorato con Nanni Moretti, Pupi Avati, i fratelli Taviani, Donato Carrisi, Francesca Comencini, i fratelli D'Innocenzo. La sua prima regia, Due fratelli di Fausto Paravidino, è del 2000. Nel 2015 ottiene il suo primo importante riconoscimento nazionale come regista, il premio Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano per la messinscena dell'Ivanov di Čechov, rinnovato nel 2019 per Così è (se vi pare) di Pirandello, prodotto dal TST.
