For Pride Month 2021, I will be celebrating and highlighting 31 canonically LGBT+ characters. Today’s character is Val/entina Romanyszyn from gen:LOCK, who is canonically genderfluid, going by Valentina and using she/her pronouns when identifying as female, and going by Val and using he/him pronouns when identifying as male. Due to this, they are exclusively referred to with neutral they/them pronouns in press releases.

(Please forgive me and correct me if I have used any incorrect terminology here. I have precisely zero first hand experience with genderfluidity and am very likely to have gotten something wrong.)

So we’ve only seen one episode of season 2 with Val in it so far (tho I did love the Yaz and Nemesis backstory this week) but I have to say that the fluffiness of his hair in the trailer and the couple of scenes in ep 1 where he’s downloaded is literally giving me life.

Welcome back to yet another round of Rooster Teeth Championship! Where we me make your favorite characters fight to the death for your amusement! It’s rather surprising we’ve lasted this long and not been sued and force to shut down our death games; but since we haven’t yet let’s keep the carnage coming!

This week we have ourselves a right confusing mess as someone forgot to turn off the copy machine, and now we have doubles of everyone. So rather than taking time to sort them out, we thought it’d be more fun to let them fight each other until only one was left standing!
