No olvido q en 2000 vi a CRISTIAN GALVEZ haciendo entrevistas en la CUBIERTA de LEGANES por el concierto de OASIS de la gira STANDING ON THE SHOULDER OF GIANTS cuya portada es MANHATTAN desde el ROCKeFELLER center incluyendo PANIC y al q fui porque me tocó la entrada en un concurso de los 40 Principales y dos años después su compañero en DESPERADO CLUB SOCIAL Eduardo ALDAN me entrevistó en la meta de la maratón de SEVILLA 2002 en estadio oLIMPIcO tras venir un tipo al TUNEL a buscarme y posar con 2 toallas en los brazos como si fueran ALAS DE ARCANGEL

Por cierto..en esa maratón de Sevilla 2002 ganó 10 cervezas xq un tal Jorge novio de la venezolana Laura Martínez q iba a mi clase en el MASTER de COMERCIO INTERNACIONAL como la MEXICANA Rocio Medellín Blanco y Boliviana Maria José Masanes que también vinieron a SEVILLA me dijo que por cada minuto que bajará mi anterior MARCA..me invitaba a una cerveza y a la mitad de la maratón le llegó un SMS con mi tiempo y perdía 13 cervezas apesar o porque salí de los últimos al tener que volver a falta de media hora de la salida al Hotel Convento LA GLORIA a por él CHIP DE TIEMPO por lo q me fui saltando Semáforos y al llegar tardaron en abrirme la puerta como 5 minutos la MEXICANA Y BOLIVIANA q durmieron conmigo tras estar de COPAS y yo volverme a dormir..y a la vuelta me paro la GUARDIA CIVIL aunque me dejó ir tras contarle el problema..por lo que forze mucho los primeros kilómetros para recuperar posiciones y me di por conforme al alcanzar a la primera chica TINA MARIA RAMOS del C.A. She has been appearing in many of my daily draws lately, so I feel this message is very important...

Two of my many weird interests are baby names and etymology, so I was just looking at the meaning and history behind this name. All sources point to keywords such as strength, valor, vigor, victorious. 

Valencia tells us to STAND OUR GROUND. Your truth belongs to you; hold it high.

☀️It is similar to the 7 of Wands in tarot, which corresponds with the Sun and the sign of Leo. This card speaks of determination and staying the course.☀️

These are “battle cards”, at least as I see them. As much as I’d like to avoid being in any type of battles, I am gently reminded today that we can’t always just ignore when others cross our boundaries. It’s not the time to bury one’s head in the sand, when a boundary has been crossed. Notice, neither of these cards tell us to “attack”-- just to stand firm and not allow outside forces to hijack our resolve.

NEVERNEVADAHQ EVENT: DO THE EVOLUTION | CONCLUSION

Intention has changed and all guests were tasked to burn the night in their own way, but no one was ready for the consequence of two flames burning from one side of the room to the other and what awaited once they met. No one was left without a new responsibility, and so the night burned bright. A night for giving back to the community came the cracking of a soft caress over a younger’s head, the tear of a veil cast between allies and the cloth shoved in a pocket for safe keeping, and the ignorance that ensured self preservation for a city that’s taken everything. 

Taron Lynch, Julian McClain, and Vespasian Moreau fled the event before it even began and upon a small flame that passed between fingers, they started the first spark at the end of a cigarette. Familiars shared boredom and invited a newcomer into a triad made only by mutual sparing. 

Cyrus Rousseau, tasked to attack his sister, Audrey Rousseau, or she would be struck by a harder force, intervened her reunion with her childhood friend, Julia Amato, and struck her over the head before he fled the scene. Asena Bank’s space to lay the scene of betrayal and alliance changed in size after that, as doors became locked and exits became no more than another barrier. 

Tight spaces created alliances despite the warning to keep other apart, but maybe Puck Bailey would benefit from the threat he was instructed to keep. Malivalaya Saelo and Katerina Devereaux moved from strangers to acquaintance with a bridge built by Puck’s reluctance to obey anonymous guidance. 

Dominic Murphy kept watchful eyes upon the fleeting attention of Jesse Valencia, and the task seemed easy enough. Little does he know there is more in store for a single night of playing guardian as Jesse’s role in his life will only grow in size. 

Hyacinth Lài and Brielle Fournier’s violence ensued upon those who failed to realize their secrets are more important than the burning hate for their alliances. How long their shared trouble will stay something they work together for absolution will only be figured out with time before either one strikes. 

Korinne Stone’s art is sought after more than the paintings on the wall, and she didn’t hesitate to take her task and act upon it. Benny Van Solkema got to see red but not by choice, and his injuries required skill to do the opposite of hurt. Andrew Whittemore failed to expand his invitation to the deviants of Nevada and offer a brotherhood in place of poorly found violence, but only because he plans to reel back those he has caught. 

Atticus Bailey’s spine was tested against the question of authority and upon the attack by a fellow Brother, he has a bone to pick. Perhaps he can add it to the vertebrae he lacks. 

Holden Markham’s curiosity to the insistence of befriending Nadia James comes at a price, and one he’ll pay on a trip to the bakery once more. 

Brighton Andrews entertained the familiar face, Sadie Sweeney, from the convenience story, but the leash he bares from the Asenas tugged him back. Abraham Sweetwine was granted the opportunity to protect an innocent but its legacy may not last. His corruption has a stronger half life than all of his poisons of choice. 

Sibel Bosnak sought out Safet Guray after the text she received, and in the revelation of having a similar message stashed in his jacket, he shared the truth regarding their relations and why if anything she should be weary of those with his name. Upon their departure, he found Darragh Callaghn trailing not far behind and questioned the sanctity her ignorance would provide with how much time she spent at his family’s compound. 

Lili Lài followd through with her task with little trouble, and Luciana Morales paid the price as the target of her poison. Evren Bosnak, who was warned to look out for a cry for help, was able to find her before she succumbed to the snake’s venomous methods and carried out the responsibilities he vowed to his city.

Sebastian Moreau, however, would have to tuck away the message that instilled blood thirst as Linnette Antonelli created a barrier between those she didn’t know well and Briar De La Rosa who had fallen under the warping spell of narcotics earlier in the night. 

Amadeus Castellanos, who took advantage of the free bar, failed to take advantage of the stealth provided to him in a note that sat under his drink. He alerted Jackson Barrett, his brother, of the urge to hurt him and the two put on a show for any spectators in the event there would be consequences for not following through. 

Aspen Parrish was caught in the crossfire of another attack that was provoked by the ensuing terror and Alejandra Ruiz, following the suggestion given to her to befriend the women running the art auctions, came to her aid. Her wrist was severely injured and she required medical attention. 

Despite the anxious tones of the night, Fionn Callaghan was able to bottle the more gentle atmosphere from earlier and share it with Blythe Sweetwine once he was able to decipher his message to find a person. An acquaintanceship was born, and a task was fulfilled. 

However, those known for their softer nature did not fail to find self preservation. Ari Arora, luring Blue Sweeney into a closet in order to help find a place to hang his coat, took advantage of good deeds and hit him upon the head to strike unconsciousness. 

Lincoln Porter is another person who has vowed to protect the meek and helpless, but instead, he found his eagerness to please in the name of glittering absolution upon the head of Talia Arslan. He broke the beauties she relied on against the vanity her family prayed she’d stick to so they could use her as a pawn with her face cracked against a mirror. Her recovery, and Lincoln’s consequence, have yet to be determined. 

Mason Torres attacked a fellow healer following a method he was certain he could control, tapering the burn of a beverage and poisoning Luxana Coia. She’d wake up the next day under the care of the forces who came to free those trapped in the labyrinth of assumed right and wrong in the Asena Bank basement. 

Leyla Duymaz and Violet Madden, both untouched by the crimes of those around them as of yet, once again shielded themselves from the deeds of those obeying such vile tasks and remained locked away in the bathroom until the night was over. 

Taron Lynch, Julian McClain, and Vespasian Moreau were the only ones with access back in and those capable of providing access back out from the Asena Bank basement. However, the three men chose to not engage with fate at all. They did not share the frayed threads of tasks they wanted to pocket away, never tying a knot to create a single line for them to decipher right and wrong. They laughed, they nodded, and along they went and fled the scene before the cries of those trapped below had the chance to be heard. It wasn’t until much later that night after the horrors of the caged beasts of Las Vegas invoked the requests of an unknown force that law enforcement officials arrived to free them. For a few hours, Las Vegas had its peace with monsters and their satiation held below.

This officially concludes our Do the Evolution event. Thank you so much for your participation and I can’t wait to see how what happened affects your muses! Please keep in mind that no new event threads can be made, and that threads from the event may continue but to try and wrap them up as quickly as possible.

PART II

There are some minor hitches in the night, but overall things are going a bit too good. It makes some question the time, and they’re surprised when they glance down their watches to find it well past curfew. Mysteriously the absence of law enforcement starts to swell the senses filling some with guilt and others with an overabundance of suspicion. At first it’s almost as if time freezes, like you’re trapped in one of the paintings on the wall. White noise has dissolved, but you can feel the quake under your feet.  The distorted mouths of the company around you, as the shift in environment explodes. Flames rain down like hellfire from the second floor, unable to shake the horrific silence you can see the rubble of foundation start to join with the fire. 

Fight or flight kicked in for the residents in the art museum. Some of them taking the artwork to save over their dead bodies, and some use this opportune moment to finally begin open hunting season on those that harvested their organs. There seems to be some mix up at the door of the entrance. One group helping people get out, and the other hindering. The ringing in your ear stops enough for you to hear the invisible gunfire that started to rock over the roar of flames.

PART II  will run until Wednesday May 5th 10PM EST. Plot slots can be found underneath the cut!

We’re going to allow each person to choose two plot slots for two characters max .If there are any leftovers, we’ll let members know when they can sign up for thirds. 

You’ll notice that some of these plots are public, so feel free to have your character react to them/ notice them even if they aren’t happening directly to your character. However, if something feels like it happened privately to another character, please check in with their Mun to see if it’s okay for your character to know.

To be clear: these are not the only things that happen to your character during this plot drop and you are more than welcome to cook up your own trouble.

To sign up for a plot slot message the main! You can start doing that as soon as right now! You may start the threads as soon as you’d like. Keep in mind that you can only message the main plot slots choices for your characters alone. 

Also, if you’re going to have your character be injured during the phase of part II message the main ( just so we can include it in the conclusion summary)! Your character can still be injured, but we thought it would be cool to include characters in the summary.

PLOT SLOTS 

CHARACTER A notices sparks flicker out from behind a painting. Their knee jerk reaction kicks in and they run into CHARACTER B when the painting lights on fire.. 

CHARACTER C ( FAUST AFF ) triggers one of the distraction bombs, but they didn’t count on CHARACTER D being injured in the aftermath.

BIRDIE MENDOZA has caught their gown  in the rotating door whilst trying to make their escape, and  TORI MASSARO has to decide whether they want to risk their own skin and help or chalk it up the BIRDIE MENDOZA’s bad luck.

JIN-AE ‘JJ’ RAU-BYRNE is engaged in a conversation with the bartender & JESSE VALENCIA, but that conversation is cut short when the bartender catches an unfortunate stray bullet in the face. It’s up to save themselves or help each other get shelter. 

CHARACTER I, CHARACTER J and CHARACTER K have their own mission for tonight, and this chaos offers the perfect opportunity. Who knows how they made it in with box cutters, but CHARACTER I, CHARACTER J and CHARACTER K leave their marks across canvases all the way down the main hall. The flames are closing in fast, though, so don’t dawdle for too long. 

CHARACTER L ( FAUST AFF )  & CHARACTER M both are the first people to arrive at the doors of the Art Institute after the chaos starts. One with the goal to keep people in, and the other to keep people out.

ZAKIYA AL KHATIB & OLIVER FAUST detonate the bomb underneath the elevator that traps WYATT LEON, ISABELLA FAUST, AND RAFFERTY DOYLE inside and they have to work together to get out. 

CHARACTER R strikes a deal with CHARACTER S to use this opportunity to steal the most prized piece of artwork in the Art Institute. It almost goes perfectly, until they launch it out a window that’s not illuminated by flames. However, when they finally make it out to collect their prize ▬ EVELINA VASILE is holding it and also brandishing a weapon. 

DIAMOND WASHINGTON who not-so-cautiously accepted a colorful pill from a stranger earlier in the night, is convinced the eyes of the painting are moving, suggesting someone may be trapped inside. CHARACTER V and CHARACTER W notice DIAMOND WASHINGTON dashing further into the flames and take it upon themselves to help, but that means they’ll have to handle the chaos of whatever DIAMOND WASHINGTON is hallucinating. 

AMADEUS JUDE CASTELLANOS  completely giving no fucks whatsoever picks up a glass of what they assumed was water from the bar to douse a lick of flames that got too close. The problem was it was vodka that fuels the fire, and starts to cover ZOE WASHINGTON. They can either run or stay behind, but ZOE WASHINGTON  is 100% able to ID them. 

AUDREY ROUSSEAU was in the restroom when the explosion occurred, and a large chunk of the balcony has blocked the door. Smoke is filtering through the cracks in the threshold, and AUDREY ROUSSEAU calls frantically for help. EZEKIEL “ZEKE” HALLIDAY hears their cries and opts to help, but the flames are moving closer by the second, and the smoke is getting heavier. EZEKIEL “ZEKE” HALLIDAY has to move fast or they will suffer the same fate as AUDREY ROUSSEAU .

CHARACTER B1 starts to exchange gunfire with CHARACTER C1 up the staircase towards the roof. One of the stray bullets hits another small bomb that causes the staircase to falter. 

ABRAHAM SWEETWINE helps others to safety using a nearby window, but another explosion leaves them burned and trapped under a large piece of the ceiling. JULIA FAUST bolts to their aid and carries ABRAHAM SWEETWINE to safety. Once outside in the lawn, JULIA FAUST must keep ABRAHAM SWEETWINE awake long enough for medical personnel to arrive.

SERAFINA EATON  is able to convince WIKIMAK CLARKE to assist in rescuing the artwork from the chaotic flames. However, after they’re injured in the process SERAFINA EATON realizes the artwork they’re trying to save is falsified. Almost as if the original artwork had been swapped. 

ANYA VOLKOVA uses the opportunity to pickpocket abandoned purses scattered around the main hall. They find a loaded pistol in MARKIE “PAIGE” KRAVTSOV ’s purse right as MARKIE “PAIGE” KRAVTSOV comes to collect it and whatever else ANYA VOLKOVA has taken. It’s up to ANYA VOLKOVA to figure out whether or not a purse is worth killing over, but be warned—the flames are moving fast. 

AUBREE DAMIANI is trampled by a crowd that beelines to the exit. CHARACTER K1 is the only one to stop and help them up off the ground & carry them.

TARON LYNCH  is outside enjoying a cigarette when the explosion rocks the foundation of the Art Institute, and the law enforcement immediately think they’re a suspect along with IAN LOCKE  that had ducked out for a breath of fresh air. They’re taken into custody for questioning. 

CHARACTER N1 and CHARACTER O1 make it to the lawn of the Art Institute just as CHARACTER O1 collapses from smoke inhalation. CHARACTER N1 finds CHARACTER P1 to help carry CHARACTER O1 to first responders.

JAMESON ROBERTS ( WALSH ) narrowly escapes to the lawn, but CONRAD ODAIR( FAUST ) is only a pace behind with a weapon in hand. CONRAD ODAIR fires and barely misses JAMESON ROBERTS, who realizes if they don’t retaliate, there’s no getting out of the art museum alive.

My favorite female character in Discord Murder Party Valencia Lynch! I haven't drawn this gal in what feels like a year but I think I did okay after how long it's been. Who is your favorite character in DMP? (if you watch it of course, which if you haven't go watch it).
