Just remembered the time I was at a comic con and found a sticker of a shark's jaws labeled MANEATER, and I started quietly chanting "vagina dentata vagina dentata" as I bought it.

Am i going crazy or is Scylla another version of Basile because in the Odyssey Scylla had her genitals replaced with dog heads, and Basile also has no d*ck? Am i crazy? Was this an accident or did you put this in your character on purpose?

You are not crazy. It's very purposeful that I named Scylla after the sea monster! Not just cuz he himself is a sea monster, but to emphasize the feminine part of him which includes having vagina dentata and those rows of teeth that the mythological Scylla is known for. I personally like the look of blunt teeth more than sharp teeth for his case of vagina dentata. Lets him chew more than just meat :P

And of course there's the whole thing with vaginas being associated with fish, mollusks, and so forth. I like to use yonic horror (devouring holes) with Scylla to contrast with the more typical phallic horror symbolism of penetration.
