I recently come across people about Batman’s tires. I still don’t understand cause just mention it and not go into context. What exactly does it mean?

"The Pen" is such an ominous psuedynom, how'd you come up with it?

"The Pen" sounds like a horror novel about a cursed pen that draw misfortune to anyone who owns it huh 🤣🤣 Don't worry, the story behind my pseudonym is actually funny. I've told this origin story before but this one is more detailed.

I've been writing fanfics and original works since 2016-ish and have always used pseudonyms relating to pens and inks. I guess I just like pen names that indicate my passion for writing.

(not gonna share them in case people wanna dig up my old fics lol)

So when I created this Tumblr account, I also want to use a pen-related name and suddenly thought of a weird habit of mine. Another fun fact about me is that whenever I feel sleepy during work or study, I will stab my thigh with a pen to sting myself awake (don't worry, I always make sure to not puncture my skin)

It's a silly habit and I thought, "Might as well use it for your Tumblr username!" And that's how Got Stabbed By A Pen was coined. As for the name The Pen, we use "the" when we're indicating a specific something. So The Pen is referring to the one and only pen that owns this blog: me!

I've also been thinking of making the joke "It is I, The Pen that wrote this!" in my author's note or having my own branded tag for different types of posts, something like...

#The Pen exploding with ink = Rant/Essay posts

#The Pen doodling something = Doodle posts

#The Pen replying letters = Answering ask posts

what's your username's origin story?

Oh my gosh do I really get to talk about this?? Oh my gosh! *Claps my hands like the neurodivergent clown I am.* Okokok SO. For most of my time on the internet, I went by Roxiestarr. My name, and my thing (I was Rping an ender princess at like, eleven ☠). At some point, I went through an identity crisis, and changed all my users to Roxiespark, because it sounded better. Once I became a jrweener, my Twitter got hacked, and the only social media I really used was Pinterest. I kept seeing art there with links to Tumblr and thought, "dang, I should make a Tumblr account. Everyone seems so nice!" (☠☠☠) So I did. I looked at everyone's profiles, and saw all the cool usernames, and decided that mine would be SparkStarr. A clear blend of past and present, a user to stand the test of- It was taken. SO I threw a space in there and it became my name!

What made you decide on the url "tigreblvnc"?

"tigreblvnc", "tigre blanc" means "white tiger" in French, my mother tongue. It's a beautiful animal whose white fur is due to a lack of pigmentation, which makes it unique among other ordinary tigers.

White is one of my favorite colors and it's also my Chinese sign.

Recently, I was told that a BSD character could turn into a white tiger and I find the coincidence funny. This manga keeps following me.

Okay I got inspired by a Twitter trend of people saying what they imagine their mutuals as based off their usernames. But instead of imagining off of!!! I want to know the inspiration behind your username :D

I will start!

"Withered Souls" is a username I changed to when I got really hyper fixated onto Identity V! The username is inspired by my Hunter Main; Axe Boy / Robbie White

In game his abilities include a "Corrupt Area" & "Resentful Souls"

I don't remember how exactly I found my way from "Corrupt" to "Withered" - maybe back then I just misremembered the ability name, or I thought it sounded cool? I genuinely can't recall. (Edit whilst typing this: it actually may refer to his ability "Corrupting Breath" as I always interpreted the slowing down upon leaving a corrupt area as the survivors life force withering away)

But the "Souls" obviously stems from the Resentful Souls he uses in the game!

Looking for images of the Souls I realized they aren't really depicted in his official art nearly as much as I thought they were? That's kinda sad considering they're kind of lore relevant and all that.

As for my old username that eventually became "Glitchy Galaxy" - it started of as "LittleGlitchyGirl" based off my undertale (now multifandom) oc Kate who was a glitch, I later changed it to "LittleGlitchyGalaxy" when I came out as nonbinary, with the help of a friend picking the word Galaxy. I then later shortened it to just "Glitchy Galaxy" as I got older bc people were super rude about it and didn't believe that I was an adult bc of the "Little" in it

box - I have an affinity for boxhead characters (it’s a comfort thing for me)

Why do you name yourself after that which stabbed you? Or was it a zombie pen that converted you via perforation?

... You know, I've never made that connection before :0

I wanted to create a pseudonym related to pens because I like writing, hence we have The Pen, which indicate the specific pen that owns this blog: me! However, Got Stabbed By A Pen isn't related to my pseudonym, it was created solely from my habit of stabbing myself with a pen when I'm getting sleepy during work/study.

But it's fun to create lore from this :>>>

Maybe I used to be a human who accidentally punctured herself with an evil pen and got converted into a cryptic creature. And from then on, I would wander around and murder people by stabbing them to death with pens >:)))) 🖊🖊🖊

Well mine isn’t anything special, I’ve always loved the effects of a glitch, a temporary shred in reality, things get distorted and loud, everything shifts all over the place in the moments of a glitch, faces get mangled into warped puzzles, and everything distorts itself like reality isn’t real, I live glitches, they are a sign that everything in the world is held together by stability. And I love the cosmos, the vast wide expansion of space, I loves the stars, and the galaxy that comes with them.

The spiderverse movies also made me love glitch effects more
