Tbqh it's very nasty to gender Lin and Khelif as male because even if whatever people are saying about them is true they're still women because that's how they were raised AND how they identify. I disagree and also don't really believe there's anything abnormal about them but even if you think they shouldn't compete with women they're still FUCKING WOMEN AND YOU SHOULD USE SHE/HER. Literally the barest minimum of human decency. If either or both of them are intersex and whatever weird checkbox system is being used to determine male or female (I've ranted about that at more length) would have these people say they should've been AMAB.... They're still women. You can't erase an entire lifetime because you don't personally like it.

hey artists. struggling to create a face (literally) for your character, when you only have Vibes but no other physical qualities in mind? you have a great resource right now (and technically always, because of the internet): the olympics. look up a country, or a sport, with the “paris 2024” or “olympics 2024” after it. from there, look at images, headlines, and medalists. choose a name and search from there. there are so so many people with such great variety between them all. it works well, trust me :)

what’s a fun fact about you that people may not guess

i am not anyone's idea of athletic. however since my social circle is like 90% other honors student orchestra losers, i technically qualify as a jock given that i have six years of experience playing field hockey

#i was a goalie though. jysk. lest you think i was actually running around like a fit person or something #sasha answers #infinitelytheheartexpands #i wasn't bad at it actually. though my 12th grade season was squandered by my fucking coach who never let me in varsity games #my team was shit and my teammates hated me. i don't think i ever had an unqualified Great experience playing with them.#by some miracle though i came out of it all actually enjoying field hockey as a sport #both as a player and a spectator #and to this day it's the only sport i've willingly gone to see professional matches of #and will actively sit down and watch the olympic matches of #though they don't often get broadcast here because field hockey in the us is not taken seriously and our teams rarely make the olympics lol #so if i want to watch i'd have to stream it online at odd times. like a netherlands or australian match or something #though the upside of the sport being kind of small in this country outside of specific regions (like where i grew up)#means that going to see literally the us national team play on their home turf is great. the crowd is modest it's not cramped or too loud #lots of fun. too bad they moved their home base though and are no longer in driving distance for us to attend games. oh well #my sister was always way more into field hockey than me. she played in college as a recruited athlete...i just played in high school #mostly cause i had to. but i still somehow enjoy the sport anyway #which i can't really say of any other major team sport #not the ones i've tried to play anyway

Hypothetically, I believe the creature could’ve competed in and absolutely destroyed the Olympics. Frankenstein is set in an unknown date in the 1700s, but, knowing that it was published in 1818, I’m going to take the liberty of placing it in the later 1700s. The creature was first born then and, knowing that he was created to be better than any man, I assume he would’ve lived longer than any man as well. The first global Olympics was set in 1896 and the creature could’ve very well lived until then, especially if we work with the idea that Victor could’ve mended him as needed for a majority of his life (of course the initial requirement to be fulfilled is that Victor cares for his creature instead of abandoning it). Additionally, the 1896 Olympics included European countries like France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, where the book is generally placed. There are no explicit rules that I can find baring the entry of human made creatures, so I can only assume the creature would be allowed to enter on technicalities. Therefore, the creature would’ve been able to join the first Olympics and absolutely win, with his superhuman size, strength, speed, and mental abilities. However, this will always stay hypothetical because Victor would never care for his creature.
