I was wondering what your thoughts would be on Mark with an S/O who dresses on the darker side? Like black lipstick, eyeliner, dark clothes (that usually show more than a little skin 👀), etc.

ok this is so indulgent for me cause this is my aesthetic!!!

i think Mark would LOVE alternative people/people that dress darker

i have a headcanon that Mark has two types: very feminine people who are super soft and sweet AND people that look like they would beat his ass (and could)

he would love watching you do your makeup in the mornings

you try and convince him to let you put makeup on him (he loves you more than life itself but he would rather die)

you put lipstick on him one time when he was sleeping and he rubbed his lips all over your face when he woke up to get back at you

he tells you all the time he has no idea how you do your eyeliner

(he tried to do your eyeliner on you one time to prove that he could, and it ended up looking like a kid's drawing on your eye)

he thinks you look amazing with your makeup on, but also loves watching you take it off at night and seeing your natural beauty

he also loves making your makeup run during sex 👀(he has a hatred for urban decay setting spray)

he really likes seeing you wear fishnets, chains, lots of jewelry

he loves your more revealing clothes, but also gets very protective when you go out wearing them

he is planning traps for everyone that looks at you while you're out in public

calls you his "hot goth gf/bf" (it does not matter if you're actually goth or not, he's going to call you that)

if you wear platform boots/platform shoes, he loves them, he thinks you look so hot in them

but he will also make fun of you and tease you for "trying to be as tall as him"

Some little head canons about him doing his makeup :

He does his eyeliner with a kohl eye pencil

Really good on applying it to his waterline

Else, you can brush on him a transparent loose powder, blush , bronzer and call it a day

for eyeshadows, i feel he would want something cool and neutral, like the urban decay naked 2 mini (more like the last three colors)

As much as he loves and trust you, he rather curl his own lashes and do his own mascara and eyeliner 

He is trying his best with the eyelash curler 

To finish off the look, a clear lip balm

Looks at himself in the mirror and says “not bad”

The look last like a good 5 mins before he wants to take it off

IRL Sixsona Designs Pt. 2: Makeup Edition

Hey y'all! This is second in a series of a few extra sixsona posts that @lightleckrereins and I are doing this week. The first post is here, showing the real-life vinyl inspirations we used!

This time around, I'm doing yet another hypothetical: what makeup would be used for each sixsona design!! My list of makeup recommendations for Six cosplayers is probably the post I'm second-most proud of (after sixsonas ofc). When I was initially working on that I kept seeing makeup that would be perfect for some of our sixsona designs, so because I have absolutely zero chill of course I had to figure out the full makeup plots for each.

The basic rules were - one glitter - one eyeshadow palette - and two additional products to fill in any gaps, as needed (this included fun stuff like an extra glitter or liquid liner, but also practical things like additional eyeshadow shades when needed or a liquid base for more sheer colors)

techniques:

start by applying Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion all over your eyelids to create a smooth base and help your eye makeup last longer.

choose a light, neutral shade from the Maybelline New York The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette and apply it all over your eyelids as a base color.

using a slightly darker shade from the same palette, apply it to the crease of your eyelids using a windshield wiper motion.

if you want to add more definition, use NYX Professional Makeup Retractable Eyeliner or Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner to line your upper lash line. you can create a subtle line for a natural look or go for a more dramatic winged liner if you're feeling bold.

next, apply L'Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara to your upper and lower lashes to add volume and length. Start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand upwards to coat each lash evenly.

if you want to make your eyes appear bigger and more awake, apply a nude or white eyeliner to your waterline.

finish off your eye makeup look by blending any harsh lines with the Real Techniques Eye Shade + Blend Duo Set.

optional tips:

for a more intense eye makeup look, you can add shimmer or glitter eyeshadow from the Maybelline New York The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette to the center of your eyelids or inner corners of your eyes.

if you have smaller eyes, you can use a lighter eyeshadow shade on the inner corners of your eyes to make them appear larger and more open.

don't forget to groom your eyebrows with your preferred eyebrow product to frame your eyes and complete your eye makeup look.

Mini makeup review, so I checked out Judydoll and I really like how their gel eyeliner and liquid liner goes on, it’s very smooth and incredibly thin. For someone who has somewhat hooded eyes like I do having more real estate for eyeshadow is a real game changer. I don’t know yet if it’s as durable as my old makeup (Urban Decay pencil with Nekoyanin liquid eyeliner) was but I’m willing to give up some long lasting wear for a cleaner and crisper application. I do think I prefer my cheap ass Essence mascara to Judydoll’s mascara but it is less clumpy I think so application is nice but it’s not as striking of a difference. Is that a big deal though? No, not really, when I want a big lash look I wear my Glamnetic fake lashes, I’ll have to try the Judydoll liners with my fake lashes to see the true glam results but I don’t really feel inspired enough to do it atm, maybe at a later date. Over all thoughts great product at a very reasonable price, I am a fan of Asian beauty brands and glad I gave Judydoll a try, I would buy from them again. Thanks for coming to my makeup review. ✌🏻

PSS the shimmer on my eyelids is a Japanese brand jill leen and they did a collab with Cinnamoroll and being a responsible adult with a proxy address in Japan I had to buy it. I believe it’s intended to be used on your lower lash line but I never mess with my lower lash line so I use it as an eye shadow stand in.
