wait so there’s another theory going around that Rio projected herself into Agatha’s mind and was acting as a guide in beginning to break the spell. So if that’s true, then this scene hits a lot harder because Agatha was just in Nicholas’s room and heartbroken but then all of a sudden Rio shows up at Agatha’s door with a pizza. She’s so gentle with her and willing to listen to Agatha spew absolute nonsense just because she LOVES HER THAT MUCH and (in the context of this theory) didn’t want her to alone and sad about Nicholas.

my favorite thing about the first lawlight "meet" is that the teacher calling L out for not sitting correctly is what caused it. i like to believe L knew Light was a nosy little bitch and was going to turn around if he upset the proctor

I think the biggest and most blatant mischaracterization is the idea that Annabel Lee and Lenore hate each other-

Where is this idea coming from? Like, duh, Lenore is mad at Annabel right now, but do you really think people who hate each other would try so hard to protect each other?

They are so in love, it's disgusting. They don't understand each other, sure, but they are in love so hard. They haven't even kissed yet and yet the comic can not be any more clear about their feelings for each other. They hurt over each others actions precisely because they are so in love.

I don't understand why people take their surface level words by heart when each action they make is for each others safety and screams affection.
