Alterhuman term coining: Kerbero

Kerbero flag with symbol and without symbol

ID: A 7 striped flag with a white circle in the middle. Inside the circle is 3 rings overlaped eachother. In the middle of the overlapped circles is a arrow with the line in a sigzag shape, there is a line underneath the triangle part of the arrow, the symbol is also the alt key symbol. The symbol in the circle is light brown in color. Definition: Kerbero is a term for those who are under the alterhuman umbrella because they are plural.

The name Kerbero is inspired by the greek myth of cerberus, a three-headed dog.

Flag explanation: the flag colors came from a mix of 2 flag colors (shown below) the colors are arranged in a upsidedown rainbow with altered shades like the orginal flag to represent the "alter" in alterhumanity. The three overlapped rings represent plurality and also reference the three heads that cerberus is depicted as having. While the alt key symbol (a common symbol for alterhumanity) represents the alterhuman identity that the plural individual has.

Someone had noticed the lack of term for being alterhuman because you are plural in a discord server a few months ago and i started making the symbol and flag but forgot about it so i finished making it. I didnt come up with the name just the symbol and flag.

This book opened my eyes.

Of course I know disabled people existed. I obviously know queer people existed. And yeah then logically queer disabled people existed too. But this book giving me many examples of wonderful people made it so much more real. It gives examples of people further back into history, and others who lived not that long ago. It gave me a big idea of us being there in all ages of time, and that was really nice.

I felt connected with history through this book in a way I only once had before with Queer as Folklore which I reviewed a few weeks ago. Both books take a look at historical queer things and it really gave me space to exist. Queer Disability Through History gave me even more a connected feeling though because disability is such an essential part of me and that intersection gives life a very different outlook. I loved that the book talked about this intersection too, how queerness can sometimes act as a disability, or how queerness and disability together give someone a significantly higher chance of discrimination. The look at both of these marginalizations together and how they interact through history gave me a lot more insight how this can be for others.

The book stayed down to earth but professional throughout. It felt respectful to the deceased and handed it with care. It was interesting to learn about so many individuals, some of whom I'd heard from before and others who I didn't. It highlighted a few big moments in both queer and disabled history and showed someone disabled and queer who had a big hand in that. These highlights were really awesome and gave me a lot of insight. 

I would recommend this book to anyone wanting queer and disability history in a fun way.

🐸My aesthetic: As mentioned a few times I feel like I'm multitudes but I guess what is true for pretty much all of them is that I'm kind of like the mixture of a peacock and a fairy that is stuck in the body of a oversized gremlin - I have this flamboyant, flowery, feminine-but-in a masc way side I love yet at the same time I am drawn to comfy oversized clothes that may or may not fit me well x'D I hope it makes sense :'D

🌿Describtion of my favourite outfit: This is hard because I have a few :'D So I'll take two you already know :3 (Hopefully you can guess from the description). One is this burgundy shortsleeved shirt that just screams flowerqueer often paired with a dark green shirt with a subtle leaf design on it. To finish up the outfit I have some puffy, green coloured jeans in a loose fit (they are now so big I need a belt for them) paired with my sunflower band that has pronouns patches and aro flag on it ^V^ The other one is this seethrough longsleeved crop top with stylized print of suns, moons and stars (give me shagadellic rock vibes aka Joker Out but in a goth way). Since I still haven't had top surgery I will often pair it with either a black binder or a black tanktop and then for the pants I can either go fullblack shorts, these black pants with thunder design running down the legs or these tube formed pink pants (because Barbie core). To hold up the pants and to amp up the aesthetic I have a twolined stud belt with chains falling down is upsidedown waves. The look wont be complete without some necklaces so I mostly go for a black choker, this fairy-on-a-moon necklace I own (and probably now also my Thor's hammer I inherited from my grandmother). Fishnet hands and black racoon makeup is optional :3

🌸Best compliment I ever received: It is an old and probably worn out story for me to tell but I think the best compliment I received was when I was told that I had been lying to myself when I said I couldn't sing. Hadn't I been told that I am not sure I'd pursued music as an active hobby through attending summer camp and had I not been there I am not sure I would be this open and confident like I am today :'D

🧸Favourite place to nap: I wish I could nap :'3 I am so bad at sleeping in the daytime :'D

🐰What do I think says most about a person?: Hmmm... If I should go with my gut feeling on this one I'd say it is how they view others. It sounds strange but what I mean is that if they scowl at others for being different (having tattoos, fun hair, bipoc, disabled etc.) and/or am being bigotted openly to your face I think it says a lot about them more than it does about the people they are judging. I hope it makes sense :'D That said the option of not saying these things but instead show disgust through actions (internalised bigotry? I am not sure that's a phrase) can be just as revealing
