Ok, so like. After this series the whole phanteon of gods is getting shelved for a while isn't it? I know Doctor Who doesn't work like Dragon Ball but feels kind of silly to go from the strongest god of them all to their strong but not as strong niece or something.

tired: the azem crystal is overused and a stupid and unnecessary plot convenience

wired: the azem crystal is a neat way to marry mechanics and narrative and particularly good for some story beats, but needs to be used sparingly to retain its punch.

inspired: my warrior of light learned "mass planar ally" and they are going to cast it as many times per day as they can. they are a 4e lazylord now. they do not raise a weapon anymore. they heal people and they say "run over here" and "stand inside the circle please" and "don't stand in bad" and "okay stop dots". their class is raid leader. their weapon is action economy. their combat style is multi-boxing. they have trained in the way of jump kaisen. they used BEAT UP! It was super effective!

In 2025, who do you think will be Gawin's partner this time? 😏 I honestly wish that GMMTV gave Gawin and First a full on 12-16 ep series because they were too good as Dan and Yok and I am still not over it 😭

loool I selfishly hope that jossgawin get super popular & become a stable ship even tho I feel like it's not that likely 😭 (not the being popular part, so many people love them already, but I'm not sure they want a stable ship at all...) as for gawinfirst, anyone who followed me around the not me era KNOWS I was obsessed with them beyond recognition lol. so much so that I think at least 30% of why I haven't gotten into firstkhao to this day is bc their ship launched right when I was waiting for gawinfirst to become a thing & it broke my heart haha. but frankly, only jossgawin could've made me feel better about their loss (and lowkey forget them whoops) so I'm really glad they happened! seeing as firstkhao are literally stuck at the hip & do practically only firstkhao projects atm, I sadly think there's no way we can ever get gawinfirst back 🥲 however danyok will stay iconic af & one of my all time favorite ship without a doubt 🫶

Bigger Than Love || Another (Happier) Arranged Marriage AU

Aahhhh... Bigger Than Love... because who doesn't love an Arranged Marriage Trope? 🤭 Let's Get Into It!

So this was Like Real People Do before I had the bright idea to turn it into the absurdly long fest of angst that will end with one single kiss 😅 but it has since pivoted to be what I hope is a fun twist on the Arranged Marriage trope.

It'll be set about 2-3 months post-canon, so feelings are still fresh all around. Wakanda and Talokan are both on the verge of civil war within themselves, and the alliance isn't going exactly the way leadership might've hoped. If you know me, you know I don't believe in doing things the easy way, so Shuri is still mad (and a little homicidal), Namor is unwilling to work with anyone other her, and M'Baku is ready to fully revert Wakanda back to T'Chaka levels of seclusion (Talokan and Western Powers be damned).

In all of this, our leading duo have found themselves as unlikely friends and equally matched sparring partners. There's just one rule though— no politics. They spar in the training arena, by the riverbank, in Okoye's backyard... but under no circumstances do they discuss the growing tensions between their two kingdoms. What happens in the throne room, stays in the throne room.

Until it doesn't of course...

Things are looking bleak for the alliance, and even finding moments to spar has become difficult with the pressures they're both facing. One night, Okoye jokingly suggests a marriage alliance might fix all of their problems. They both laugh it off, but when he's alone, the thought won't leave Attuma's mind. Peace matches are arranged all the time in Talokan; he's the product of one such marriage himself. Would marrying Okoye really be so bad? She may be a surface dweller, but she is the first equal he's met in far too long. But worries still linger: if they do marry, can he accept the potential risk of losing another so dear to his heart?

Okoye keeps trying to convince herself that she was joking. She couldn't possibly be willing to get married again— not after W'Kabi. But the more she thinks about it, thinks about him, the more she finds herself wanting. Her uncle has not relented in his quest to see her remarried, no matter how lacking she finds her suitors. Attuma wouldn't be marrying her for status, or money, or connections to her uncle or the crown. Theirs would be a mutually beneficial arrangment— the treaty could finally be formalized, they'd have peace in both their kingdoms, and maybe, just maybe, Attuma might end up wanting her too.

“Get down to business,” Lute echoed weakly, sweat beginning to form on her palms. She wiped them on her coat, feeling incredibly warm and flustered. “Just… hold on–I gotta–”

Rising from her seat, she quickly shrugged her coat off and placed it over the back of her chair, followed by her scarf. Taking her place again, she cleared her throat.

“That’s better,” she muttered, grateful for the relief from her building warmth. “Forgive me, Father.”

In an impossibly quick, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, his eyes looked her up and down before he pursed his lips with a small nod. “Forgiven.”
