I've been trying to find out what this truck is for forever... you'd think having three wheels would make it easier to find!
The truck is from episode five (Brittle Bullet) of FLCL!!
Good news! It's definitely a Daihatsu. They were known for their 3-wheeler trucks in the 50s/60s.
I reckon it's a CM, but I'm not an expert on trucks, so maybe if this post is reblogged around enough an expert might be able to confirm or correct this?
Verdict: 1962* Daihatsu CM
*the model years are a bit unclear for these as I went by the wiki date, whereas I can see some CM8s made as late as 1968
