Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for Nintendo DS. It was one of latest Castlevania games done in Metroidvania style. It's a great game but let's be honest, things were getting a little bit repeatative for the series. And I don't know if it's only me but I'm getting strong Simon's Quest vibes from this one. My copy is sealed and unopened by the way. i hung out with some pre-k kids today and told them my birthday was yesterday and it was absolutely Not Computing to them that i didn't get presents so they were bringing me random shit (pinecone, tiny rock, crust from sandwich, some smushed blades of grass, etc etc) and one kid brought me a handful of sand and as he was holding it out to show me how shiny it was, noticed there was an ant in it, and his instinct for some fucking reason was to lean down and suck in a mouthful of the sand/ant???????? and sent himself into a coughing fit. literally what and why the fuck would anyone do that

My partner and I have an annual Christmas tradition of creating a blasphemous nativity scene with our assorted action figures, funko pops, and other random toys joining in on or replacing elements of the traditional version.

This year it commemorates Star Trek: Lower Decks S5E9, with Garak and Bashir taking centre stage.

The "letter unopened by Lucy Westenra" was a gut punch yesterday, but today's was even worse. The sorrow in Mina's voice was a hit right to my little heart, it was worse than getting caught by surprise. So tremendous voice acting, but y'all are killing me

The way today’s Re: Dracula episode is built up is so perfectly suspenseful. First Lucy’s diary, telling us she’s doing so well and she’s not even scared about Van Helsing leaving—wait, what? Then Seward, aside from Renfield’s behaviour being linked to Dracula activity, casually mentions he’s not going to the Westenra’s—does he not know..? Then the letter, unopened… The telegram, late… Followed by one of the most harrowing entries in the entire book. (With amazing sound design btw.) Whew!
