There are things I would change to this animatic, but I refuse to touch it. I created this last year in a 6 day art binge listening to a lyrical cover of Davy Jones locker on loop while my mom was in the hospital recovering from her open heart surgery.

Happy to say that one year later, she hiked upper/lower Yosemite falls, vernal and Nevada falls, plus all the little hikes with me and the fam over the weekend. :]

Episode 100! Yeah I made it! So I decided to do some art. I got a lot (and by a lot I mean exactly two) of fanart on Pinterest of this deer headed goddess who I assume is Huntokar? So I decided to do my take on her.

Just a couple things. I imagine before Strexcorp, she was also the goddess of desert bluffs, but the smiling god burned away her shadows and force her back into nightvale. Well, not technically just nightvale. I imagine she is also the goddess of the desert otherworld, making her a tri-goddess. There are a lot of tri-goddesses in mythology, tale foundry has a great video on them, and one of my most important ocs is technically a tri-goddess. Yes that is a speaker in her chest. Cecil is the voice of nightvale, and she is Nightvale’s goddess, so he technically speaks for her, whether he know it or not. Kevin used to speak for her as well, but Strex took him from her, leaving her silent.

My Project Org Editor 2024 Round 6 AMV/MMV!

I edited a Detective Conan video for every preliminary round of POE, but it took until this final round to finally make a blorbo AMV (something I'd been meaning to do since Round 3, but I somehow always ended up with another idea instead). With the theme of "Aliens, Time-Travelers, and Espers," and the goal being to edit a video focused on the "bizarre and supernatural," I knew I couldn't not follow through with a Heiji fancam, given all his "monster" cases.

(And hey, maybe there's also something a bit "supernatural" about Shinichi's predicament as Conan, too—and Heiji is always there to help him with that.)

POE is a timed challenge with only one week per theme, so on and off the last few months, I continued working on this AMV, trying desperately to turn the mess I submitted into something I'm actually proud of. And I think I succeeded! I hope this is a huge improvement, and I'm very excited to finally share my polished-up rendition.

PwNPD, I'm making a video on why I would argue that the use of the word "narc" in the context of a narcotics officer/someone who would snitch to the cops does not negate the derogatory meaning. However, I wanted to hear what the rest of you had to say on it since I think feedback will help me create a more satisfactory script.

Unless you are someone from the opposition who has a different point than 1. just stating the definition of the word as if I don't understand it or 2. mocking people because "then wouldn't it be pronounced narse?" ...Yeah, I've already heard those 'arguments'. I'm primarily looking for feedback from pwNPD that are of the same opinion as me, but may have different argumentation I didn't think of. Anonymous asks are allowed on my blog, so if you don't want your name attached then I am happy to receive feedback that way.

I DO plan on integrating anything helpful into my video, so I may end up messaging people if there's anything that stands out and may need further discussion privately. I will be sure to give proper credits where it's due.

Other than that, either way you fall in the discourse, feel free to answer the following poll.
