I made some paper dolls of Tommy and Wilbur from the fanfic Unlikely Events by Nymphii, my favorite fanfic! This is for an automata I'm making for my engineering final project/exam but I don't know if I'll be able to finish it time :')

Anyway, the specific scene I'm going to recreate with the automata is from Chapter 21: "An Outsider's Break" when Wilbur is chasing Tommy through the precinct. This chapter is probably one of my favorite chapters :>

It was fun to draw and cut out these silly guys and even though I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to connect the limbs like making them fully movable, it was still fun to do that once I figured it out.

Btw, to connect the limbs, layered the body parts togather, marked out where to make the hole, and used a needle to actually make the hole and scissors as a hammer to sort of help the needle puncture the paper and cardstock underneath. Then I got a toothpick and poked it through both body parts just enough so it would be secure enough but not so much that the hole is too big and tears the limb. I cut the extra part of the toothpick(which was most of it) then to secure it more, I added a little dab of hot glue to make sure the end of the toothpick doesn't go through the hole and fall out.

I'm still working out the logistics of the automata, especially the cams I'm making for the movement, but unfortunately, I can't do realistic running due to the limitations of a simple automata. Making it realistic will be way too complicated that I don't have the time for AT ALL. So, their limbs will just be bending up and down which kind of bothers me but what works will just have to do :/

BUTTERFLY REIGN AND THIS IS NOT AN ACT OF SPITE MENTION!!!

I HAD AN *ENTIRE* BUTTERFLY REIGN HYPERFIXATION A FEW MONTHS AFTER I GOT INTO DSMP AND IT LASTED FOR AGES! Funnily enough though, despite me obsessing over it, I haven't read the actual fanfic yet because I know if I did, I'd break my phone out of irritation because of some of the events :/ I already broke my Xacto knife while watching a video about Butterfly Reign because I applied too much pressure on it out of rage and it snapped... That Butterfly Reign obsession went so hard though and I LIVED off of the fancontent. It was just really interesting to see the comparison between C! DSMP and Butterfly Reign through those videos. I miss Butterfly Reign videos, people stopped making them :'(

But in contrast, I DID read This Is Not An Act of Spite(but haven't caught up/read it for several months because the current events are so angsty for me right now and I can't handle it TvT) but never really got too into it. I do really like to imagine AU Crossovers with TINAAOS and other fanfic AUs I've read though since there are a lot of things I can compare between TINAAOS and things I usually see in fanfics.

For me, my top fanfics are Tommyinnit's Clinic for Supervillains, Unlikely Events, His Curse of Binding, and The Dreamwalker :] They have a specially place in my heart even if some of them aren't as recognized by the fandom <3

for context behind this poll, these two fics to me are like THE fics. The one everyone knows about, the ones that mark every fic of the same genre, well this and Passerine but. we ignore that for now.

Dream SMP x Detroit: Become Human AU

DSMP x DBH AU

Note: I was inspired to do this after watching Tubbo's play-through of Detroit: Become Human. At first, I was planning on posting art with descriptions, but I'm over flowing with ideas and not enough artistic talent to hurry along T-T I did post one piece of fanart, but it just wasn't enough so I have impulsively decided to post all my current ideas here on Tumblr and link it on Twitter (This is actually what got me to make a Tumblr in the first place XD)

Android and Human Pairs:

1. Philza & Wilbur

Philza, or Android Model PH-1L2A, is an advanced model of android that is designed to emulate human behavior, empathy, and responsibilities. He is programmed with human-like common sense, so much so that he is often mistaken for one. One of his most unique traits is his additional drone technology incorporation, allowing him to hover in the air and have limited flight capabilities within certain parameters. Some worry that he will eventually become a deviant, or is already one, due to his human-like qualities, but over the years on the force he has garnered vast amounts of trust to overlook most of his android-based discriminations. Unknown to most, Philza is actually married to a human, his ex-partner Kristin Watson, who retired after deciding to pursue a different career path. Kristin is the one that first named Philza and kept their relationship a secret for both the safety of their careers and livelihood. Wilbur Soot, a human, was once the Captain of the L'Manberg divison but was later pushed aside by his rival and competitor, J. Schlatt. Now transferred and demoted to lieutenant, Wilbur has shown no more desire for leadership and instead indulges in his once-suppressed eccentric tendencies. Although true to his duties, he now enjoys his job with less responsibilities and pressures, becoming more free-spirited under the guidance of his new partner/android.

2. Ranboo & Tubbo

Sadly, Tubbo is not an android, though he very much would like to be one. Ever since he was young, he envied the abilities of androids and always hoped for them to receive better treatment, albeit an unpopular opinion. In the past, Tubbo had his very own android, Tommy, who helped him in his tasks at a somewhat large bee farm. Due to his popularity and his work credentials, he eventually took over the company, but was dealt with many responsibilities and moral dilemmas. One revolved around Tommy. Caught doing something reckless and harmful (potentially arson), Tubbo was forced to give his android up for the betterment of his farm. However, shortly after letting go of Tommy, his company went under due to the rapid extinction of the bee population, and he was forced to find another job. Tubbo desperately wanted to reconcile with Tommy, deeply regretting his decisions, but he couldn't find even a trace of his android/friend. This prompted Tubbo to become a private investigator, to one day find Tommy, and was eventually paired with a new android, Ranboo. Ranboo, or Android Model RA-N800, is a highly advanced prototype that dabbles in the highly experimental field of teleportation. However, due to this dangerous function, Ranboo has issues with his memory drive and is easily susceptible to water damage.

3. DreamXD & George

DreamXD has no model number, as he was a private creation, designed in the image of his creator, Clay (aka. Dream), who went missing and is suspected to have been imprisoned. Most of his functions are unknown, even to himself, and his common sense is skewed because he was incomplete when his creator vanished. However, he has recently discovered that he has the ability to fly/hover with little-to-no limitations and can warp his voice at will, going beyond basic imitations. In addition, he has a storage compartment hidden on his body, allowing him to carry and hide items that go beyond normal storage units. Unlike most androids, DreamXD was made to have emotions, though the reasons behind it remain a mystery. He experiences things similar to a human and was designed to be a deviant. Most new abilities that he discovers are often presented during times of extreme emotional fluctuations, requiring him to have control over his emotions to then be in control of his abilities. DreamXD was pushed onto George after Clay was forced to run, entrusting his most prized creation to his once most trusted partner and friend. In the past, George and Clay were partners in the private creation of androids. However, the two had a falling out when Clay's ambitions became skewed from their original goals. Before Clay could spiral out of control, George decided to leave for both himself and his friend, throwing away his old city life and running away to a secluded area, away from urban society. Before the arrival of DreamXD, George lived a very peaceful, if not boring, life of gathering mushrooms and living off what nature provided. When he realized Clay was desperate for this favor, George could not let go of his feelings of loyalty and kinship to his old friend and agreed to let in DreamXD into his home.

3. Karl, Sapnap, & Quackity

Sapnap was also partners with Clay and George, but he left shortly before George. Creating his own independent business of consulting bigger companies on android management and programming, Sapnap was eventually introduced to Karl, an android helper provided by Mr. Beast Inc., and Quackity under the L'Manberg divison. Karl, or Android Model K-4RL, one of Jimmy Donaldson's (CEO of Mr. Beast Inc.) personal androids, primarily work under Mr. Beast Inc. but help out Sapnap and Quackity when there is time to spare. Before his partnership with the two, Karl was given an experimental update that would allow him to have access to vast amounts of past records and current data so that he could analyze the past and calculate accurate predictions of future events in real time. However, due to this Karl began to experiences glitches in his memory bank. At first, he ignored the signs, but then he realized that information/events that never happened to him (present time) flickered across his mind, often giving him a sense of deja-vu. He finally came to the conclusion that the "new memories" were actually past or future events brought on by the update and this data was too much for his system, slowly chipping away and corrupting his files. Scared of being abandoned, or worse (reset), Karl kept his glitch to himself, regardless of how much he had come to trust his two partners. Quackity was paired with Sapnap and Karl under direct orders from J. Schlatt, to investigate the problems in programming of deviants. Due to the rising issues of criminal androids, Schlatt was forced to send out his right-hand man to silence the disturbance before it had a chance to be known to the public and stir up chaos within the community.

Part #6 of DSMP-coded songs! This time Fanfic/AU editions! Also, there might be spoilers for some of these fics so be warned!

TNT Duo in Shadows and Ice by FlameDraco (slight spoiler warning)

(Admittedly, the beginning of the song doesn't match up with the story BUT HEAR ME OUT)

"There's no God to award me a crown" Giving the vibes of Wilbur when he was sacrificed and him being very bitter about it all(also the fact he thought he was going to die), especially when he did everything his parents(which were the rulers of the kingdom) wanted of him. He basically kind of accepted that he was going to die at that moment, even if he was very bitter about it.

"All the sparks that went dark in my gut" Wilbur basically talking about all the times he stayed silent even though he really wanted to speak against his parents.

"Dress me in red and throw your roses" Wilbur to Quackity since Quackity said that Wilbur looks good in red, which is one of the Unseelie court colors, and also a bit of a reference to the garden scene when Quackity tucked the rose behind Wilbur's ear

"But I'm always feeding them, the ugliest parts of me" Quackity talking about whenever he gives into the impulses of the shadows/his inner impulsive thoughts and Quackity internally admitted that they were the darkest parts of himself.

"All of the words I've swallowed, All of the sharp things I kept in my mouth" Again, Wilbur referring to whenever he kept his mouth shut when he wanted to speak against his parents.

"Take me to war, Honey I dare you" Referring to the deal Wilbur and Quackity made in the first chapter where Quackity asked that Wilbur give information of the kingdom and the castle for an advantage in the war, and Wilbur asked for the chance to tear down the capital as revenge to his parents sacrificing him and everyone who knew not trying to stop it.

"I'll be the sweetest thing To ever scare you" Quackity to Wilbur, mostly in the beginning because Quackity's eldritch form scared Wilbur when he first saw it and it took some getting used to. But even though Quackity initially scared Wilbur, he ended up giving Wilbur a very comfortable life in his court, an even sweeter life than he had with his parents.

"Give me a fight I can't resist, Give me something to break with my fists" Again, Wilbur wanting the opportunity to take down the capital as revenge for being sacrificed like he meant nothing. He has a lot of wrath and vengeance inside of him.

"All of the ire I've swallowed, All of the coals that still sit in my gut, I am always burning up" Again, Wilbur's wrath and desire for revenge

Put your game face on by cheeziteater/A general college rival TNT Duo AU with a rivals to friends to lovers plot

This song would definitely mark the point in TNT Duo's relationship where there is a shift in their dynamic. For a general college rival AU, rather than specifically "put your game face on," I feel like this would be the morning after the two of them ended up having a pretty emotional and vulnerable talk with each other laye at night where they learned a lot about each other and realized that they have some sort of feelings for each other. But when they wake up, they aren't sure where to go from there and are afraid to change the dynamic they already have too much, so they're stuck between pretending their late night chat never happened and going back to being rivals, or actually trying to become friends and maybe something more.

Wilbur from Unlikely Events by Nymphii

Basically, UE! Wilbur's character development through Unlikely Events as he starts healing from grieving and being on a downward spiral for the past 3 years. The main lines that stuck out to me as UE! Wilbur, which caused me to associate this song with UE! Wilbur, were the lines "I stopped wishing I was dead, Learned to love myself before anyone else, Become more than just a burden," because it reminds me of how he initially felt like he was a burden/obligation when Tommy tried taking care of Wilbur. Then as he began to heal, he didn't feel like that as much anymore.

I remember watching the reverse/opposite/inverted dteam gacha reaction videos too(I think Bad was always in them because of the stark contrast between C! BBH and the Inverted version people made.)

I also joined the fandom pretty late(early 2022) but my friend was hyperfixated on it between 2020-2021, and I remember just being so confused about what she was talk about.

I also started actually learning about DSMP through Fandoms React gacha reaction videos. I vividly remember this one fandom reaction video where the different fandoms were reacting to Sad-ist's DSMP animations and I was so lost on who was who. The person who made the reaction video designed Tommy to where he was wearing a green beanie so for like- half the reaction, I mistook C! Wilbur in the animation for Tommy simply because he was wearing a beanie but since Wilbur in the animation and Tommy in the reaction video were so different, my brain went "hmmm I don't think the guy in the beanie in the animation is Tommy..." then thought that Tubbo in the animation was Tommy for the other half of the video TvT

When I actually started learning about the lore, I remember how me and my friend shared a hatred for C! Schlatt and Quackity in the Manberg era(But then C! Quackity became one of my favorite characters after a few months and I learned about his other lore) and how C! Tommy kinda annoyed me(but then he also became one of my favorite characters) and that C! Revivedbur(the old gacha video characterizations of him) pissed me off(until the whole lore of him freeing Tommy and people started to characterize him like an actual human).

What really got me into DSMP were actually the AUs. Flowers from 1970 was the AU that started the hyperfixation on DSMP(which I'm a bit ashamed of), then I got into Passerine gacha reaction videos but after seeing the deep angst in it, I decided to never read it(and I still haven't) and kept mistaking Butterfly Reign for Passerine because they were both royal AUs, which led to me getting SUPER fixated on Buttetfly Reign after I learned what the difference between BR and Passerine was. This hyperfixation on Butterfly Reign was what really got me to fall completely into the fandom and my obsession with BR lasted for months as I lived off of the gacha videos made for it(but I still haven't read Butterfly Reign because just the gacha reaction videos caused to be literally break the tip of an Xacto knife from how irritated I got at BR! SBI). I went on to hyperfixate on Tommyinnit's Clinic for Supervillains while still being fixated on Butterfly Reign, and TCFSV became the first of MANY fanfics that I've read and I also found Passerine Podcast since they were doing an audio book on TCFSV. When I finished TCFSV, I looked at the author's ao3 account and found Unlikely Events in their bookmarks which made me even more obsessed with the DSMP fandom.

And now I'm here, still VERY deep in the fandom despite missing 99% of the lore except C! Wilbur freeing Tommy from Dream(by burning the fake discs) and C! Tubbo and Aimsey kinda of making an alliance because one of the Eggpire dinners was really suspicious and they came up with the whole "yum yum yum" code word system.

I rambled much more than I thought but what people thought about DSMP from an outside or new perspective is so interesting.

Context: i remember in 2020-2021 i really wanted to be part of the fandom but i had no idea where to start and my english wasn't one of the greatest at the time, but i did watch some things about it and this is most of what i remember

I am proud to report that I have once again used my schoolwork as an excuse to ramble about my hyperfixations, specifically DSMP fanfics. First with Unlikely Events(by Nymphii) in my Hero's Journey essay 2 years ago, then my Hero's Journey SLIDESHOW from last year, and now it's Tommyinnit's Clinic for Supervillains for Spanish 2 :D

Excuse the probably incorrect Spanish, this is a class and I'm still learning. But yeah, I just went all in and was literally vibrating in my seat because of how excited I was to do this. The minimum was 15 sentences, 3 sentence for each verb we were given, but I just started kinda rambling and now there are 23 sentences! I also had to do a recording of me speaking at least 10 of the sentences, but it had to be creative or else I wouldn't receive full credit, so I kinda had to brainstorm some ideas. I was thinking about using my makeshift cosplay for Siren but decided against it because it would be weird to speak as the character and it makes me internally cringe, and then I considered just adding audio of my recorded voice in each slide of my slideshow but I doubt my teacher would consider that "creative" and would give me a 0 on the presentation aspect. So, I finally decided to bust out Gacha Life 2 after a while of leaving it alone and start using that. I seriously debated against it for about 2 days because I couldn't bring myself to make a GL2 video, even just for homework because 1, do you have any idea how tedious it is to design the characters, position them, find the right poses out of the limited selections they give you(or make an entirely new pose if it comes to that), and EDIT IT ALL IN AND PAINSTAKINGLY SYNC IT WITH THE AUDIO?! Yeah, there's a reason I haven't finished a GL2/GC video in about a year despite having multiple video ideas. 2, it's just- Gacha videos just have a bad rep(partially reasonably so), so it just feels weird to make a video using one again, but I'm not going to spend DAYS trying to make it a hand-drawn minicomic because that would take even longer and it's due on Monday :/ So GL2 it is! I'm probably not going to post the final product anywhere, but eh. I finished the screenshots and I'm about to do the recordings but I am not looking forward to using Capcut again :|

Unlikely Events by Nymphii (I couldn't read this for a few months because it kept making my want to cry :/ I'm avoiding reading it for a second time since the ending is close, still can't believe this fanfic ended. It was one of my first fanfics :D maybe my 3rd??? This will be remembered as the fanfic that made me feel the pain of true angst for the first time)

2. His Curse of Binding (I think I shed tears for the last few chapters before the epilogue)
