n*loth not being able to bag anyone over the (human term) age of 25-30 at most is the only logical and real conclusion to me because it can be just explained away as him wanting to prove and control everything and anyone (Cus he's a man!) but being stuck in that demographic because his unbearable and vile personality is a force that nobody can look past once they've outgrown the possible fear and idolization period of anyone but also n*loth in particular.

More White Fang Leader Blake (or whatever the name is) ladybug AU?

Ruby winced as she pulled on her hair to make sure it was still dyed. It had been a couple weeks since she started working with Blake and still hadnt made any progress to figure out what Adam was up to. As far as she could tell, all he had was a bad attitude and seemed to hate her, nothing that was out of the ordinary. Though, from the way the training sessions went, she thought he might have an idea of what she’s up to. A knock on the door sounded and she let out a sigh. “Come in.” 

“Adam wants to see you,” Ilia said as she walked into the room. “He thinks you need a bit of extra training.” 

Ruby sighed and brushed out her hair as she pulled it back. “Didnt he give me enough of a beating already today?” 

“Are you really going to question a superior?” 

“No, not at all.” 

“Then follow me.” 

Ruby nodded and tied her hair back as she followed Ilia away from the barracks and into the training yard. Without any torches lit, the training yard was dark enough that it was hard to see, though the full moon provided enough light for Ruby to get by without too much issue, something she was thankful for. It was hard enough to keep from getting figured out during the day, the last thing she needed was a slipup at night. 

Ilia stopped with a grin. “Your training will start here.” 

Ruby paused and looked around. “I thought you said Adam would-” the words she had wanted to say caught in her throat as she felt Ilia’s whip-like blade stab into her and sent electricity through her body, muscles tightening up as she dropped to the ground like a rock. Small grunts left her lips as she watched Ilia walk around her. 

“Adam did want to see you, but there’s just one little problem with that.” Ilia pushed Ruby with her foot and rolled her over. “I know you’re not one of us. At least, not really. Adam has had me spy on you for the last few days and let me tell you, I’m a little surprised that Blake has a human helping her.” 

Ruby’s eyes widened a bit as she tried to get up, a grunt leaving her lips as she was forcefully pinned to the ground by Ilia once again. 

“And Adam wont know. At least, not yet. I’m still going to take you to Adam, but as long as you do what I say, I wont let him know about you and he wont have to kill you. Got it?” 

Ruby slowly nodded, her voice hoarse as her muscles started to let her move again. “And… what exactly… do I have to do?” 

“Leave Blake alone.” Ilia took her foot off Ruby and took a few steps back to let her get up. “That means no more talking to her, no more helping her, and leaving.” 

“Right…” Ruby slowly stood up and winced as she held where she was stabbed. “And Blake wont get hurt?” 

“Blake wont get hurt, and no one will know you’re a human. Do you understand?” 

Ruby sighed. “I… understand.” 

“Good.” Ilia started to walk off. “Get back to your quarters and tell no one about this. I cannot guarantee your safety if you do.” 

Ruby stood in the dark as clouds started to cover the light of the moon, one of her contacts fell out as a silver eye reflected the light. As rain started to pour from the sky above, she slowly made her way back to her quarters, no longer sure about the arrangement she had.

I always struggle with saying too many times the name of the person im writing about or their pronouns when writing in english bc in catalan you just... dont need a subject you can just skip it whoever is reading will know who youre talking about you dont need to say john did this or he did this you just say did this and it makes sense and in conclusion my life is better when i write on catalan

The thing about the ultra religious greek orthodoxs i used to know is that they pose themselves and the entire orthodox christian establishment as the guardians of culture and tradition, but that is true ONLY IF the tradition is directly linked with orthodox christianism. Even some very benign traditions - like wearing a Marti bracelet as to not "get burned by the spring sun", is seen as dumb, God-defying, silly little thing that christians definitely shouldn't do, instead of a symbol of, just, spring finally coming back. A simple bracelet made out of two red and white strings wrapped together, usually made by grandma for the entire family, that you're supposed to wear until easter or until you see the first swallow of the year.
