I’ll put this under a read more since it’s just me gushing about characters I don’t genuinely talk about lol

Taiju takes up all of my brain all of the time but I also really love Draken from Tokyo revengers. He’s my big ass pookie and I was convinced HE WAS THE ONE AND NO ONE COULD TELL ME OTHERWISE. Hes very special to me and he’s like the biggest green red flag there is considering he’s in a gang and he’s the vice captain of said gang and he’s like 6’2 when he’s fifteen and all his friends are like tiny compared to him and he got a big tattoo of a dragon on the side of his head when he was like 10 and he has a horrible past but he doesn’t let it define him. But he has a smile and heart of gold and he’s just a chill guy who beat up 100 guys on his own but like he won’t be late home to his girl ever, and he’d never ever forgot any of your favorite things and he’s good at reading body language and he drinks respect women juice. And I’m very much insane for him as well 🥹

I’m also equally obsessed with Captain Akitaru Obi from fire force. He’s a golden retriever green flag heart throb silly muscly man who has a strong sense of justice and the need to protect others that aren’t able to do it for themselves. He’s strong driven and leaves no one behind. He has no “powers” or special gifts within the world but he’s ranked up to Captain of squad 8 and uses his strength and determination to save lives and put infernals to rest with compassion and empathy on his side as he commands his squad of misfits. I genuinely love this man and he makes me feel hearts and flowers and happiness and sunshine when I think of him. Like he’s just so fucking kind AND HES A TRUE HIMBO that I can’t help but smile and get all giddy and kick my feet when I think of him.

#I have a type and I know it #I’m part of many many fandoms and my favorite type of characters are usually morally grey or the villains but I do have a few sprinkles of #golden retrievers and sunshine characters but most of the time if they look scary and intimidating then I’m heart eyes and howling for them #but I also love the trope where they look scary and intimidating but really there just a cinnamon roll who could do no harm to anyone #unless provoked or they have a reason to harm them #I also love women STRONG DOMMY MOMMY WOMAN BUT THATS A DIFFERENT TIME

i just made myself even more unwell if you can even believe it lol. because seeing the kraken ring on ed’s finger made me think of symbolism and subsequent scenarios.

because, costuming plays a big role in the show of course. it shows what’s going on with the characters, even when said characters are not explicitly stating those themes. ie, the floral robe representing stede bringing more vibrancy into ed’s life, the purple representing ed falling in love, etc etc.

so what if like, the kraken ring hangs around to represent a lingering bit of fear and uncertainty within ed. even as he begins to heal—made evident, again, through costume/makeup with the reveal of his face, the tie-back of his hair, etc etc—it remains to show that he still has bits of pain present.

and what if there’s a significant scene where it too, is replaced with something closer to himself.

what if it’s eventually replaced by something like, say, an engagement ring from stede

I’ve been a Star Wars head since childhood and I can say with all my heart that I don’t think Leia Organa should be a mother 😌

Not that she isn’t capable, or that she lacks any sort of knowledge, care or ability to. I just simply think she has about a million other things going on and a thousand issues with her genetics.

My main point is that I especially think she shouldn’t be a mother when it comes to how her children have been written in media. She actually has 3(?) kids in the comics. And one is named ANAKIN? After the man who killed her entire family, friends and home-world just for the sake of proving a point? These writers don’t know Leia like I do.

Ben / Kylo. whatever. Is one of the worst written “villains” (or characters period) of all time and I stand by that. He was raised by two of the funniest, bitchiest, outgoing people in the galaxy yet somehow ended up with no personality whatsoever beyond “angst” and overgrown toddler. You’re telling me he was raised by LEIA? And even then… that Luke would train him into that? Okay.

So… maybe in another universe she could be a mother but only because I think she can do absolutely anything she sets her mind to. But SHOULD she? No. Her and Han should be a hurricane of a couple forever. Training new recruits, traveling the galaxy wherever the new republic takes them, growing old together. This isn’t even denial about the new films because boo hoo they died 😢… no, I actually think them dying could’ve been written well. The problem is that it’s dogshit and Leia deserved better

#Y’all don’t bring Nadine up unless you wanna fight 😭#I mentioned somewhere that I wish her scenes (those ‘boss fights’??) were cutscenes because the gameplay and player choice is an illusion #But that’s not an acceptable opinion to have I guess #Btw it has nothing to do with story or characters but THE GAME and the PLAYER #I’m ranting #But it’s because I was called an insecure man #I’m sorry?#People don’t even listen to you they just hear oh you don’t like Nadine then you can’t handle seeing a strong woman #But that wasn’t at all what I was saying #She can have those scenes where she kicks butt cuz that’s the point of her character in 4 #But I’m not gonna pretend those sections are fun for me #I wish they were cutscenes #That is all #am I crazy? Am I hateful?#Gimme the L in a cutscene #I’ve also thought about this in DMC5 #There’s an early boss fight that you’re meant to lose and I’m not so mad about that #After thinking about it it’s because player choice wasn’t taken away #You have all your move set and abilities and the ability to win is there you get a special ending #Nate can’t jump or roll or do his best because you’re given the illusion of playing but it’s only going down one way #And personally I don’t like it #Nothing to do with character or story it’s the illusion of gameplay that’s annoying to go thru #It’s taking things away from the player #Also in dmc5 there’s a forced walk section with V #It’s like less than a minute but it feels AWFUL especially in a game where everywhere else you have full character control #Giving control to the player is important #That’s why I think Mgs5 is so nice #You can infiltrate the same guard post an infinite amount of different ways #It’s up to you #im big boss and you are too

another semester BEHIND me… the relief hasn’t fully kicked in, but i’m starting to feel it.

All my gems gone.

Dried up.

Shii, iroha, and Kuroe took me to a back alley and beat me up, then Shii called Shizuka, Livia, Sayaka, & Shigure to all point and laugh at me and then left me on the ground, threw a singular slot for each of them and then they all left to go get sweets and tea with the gems they just got from me….

1 Shii, 1 iroKuroe, 1 copy of each respective memo

1, Shizuka, 1 Livia, 1 Sayaka, 1 Shigure. There were some other single repeat memos I already have MLB

But yeah… pretty bad. I would say kind of tied for IroMado. I mean at least with iromado I got 4 slotted with innocent gems and destiny crystals…

Idk I have two innocents gems I could use. I thought about using them on scene zero Madoka but now idk. But I sadly wouldn’t get their max EX bonus anyway so I may hold onto them until I get a third innocent gem.

And Shii is super cool and super good I’m sad they are stuck at one slot what the hell 😭😭😭
