Now Jason was planning on, well, a lot of things, when he came back to Gotham. He had a lot of plans, several of which had to do with the old man and even more that had to do with cleaning up Crime Alley, making it safer and all that. 

What he was not planning on was to find some sort of lab in the basement of where he was planning on setting up a safehouse. Nor was he planning on finding several literal children in cages inside said lab. Oh and Lazarus Waters- but children! With muzzles! Being experimented on!

Now he’d like to say he had a plan in what happened next, but if he’s honest everything had gone Green and he didn’t remember what happened next, only that he’s back home with said children and covered in blood. Oh and everything smells of smoke. 

… And apparently there’s more of these things dotted around Crime Alley with the rest of these kids, er, siblings? Family? Fright does mean family? Okay kids, he’s not turning into Bruce but you can stay here while he deals with this… however long that takes. 

He better not be turning into Bruce he swears-

Wei Qian is the cactus

Wei qian is not a fluffy person. He has a spiky exterior shaped by hardships. He has lived without anyone to care for him.

Xiao bao opens the door for Wei zhiyuan, for yuan to walk into Wei qian's life. Xiao bao gifts yuan the cactus.

With Yuan gone, wei qian does not take care of himself. The cactus withers.

Wei qian slowly adjusts his mindset. He takes care of the cactus; he takes care of himself (lollipop to replace cigarette)

By the time yuan comes back, the cactus is thriving again. It does, in fact, need care and love. Wei qian knows it, and so does yuan.

i know tim said we're not getting a cliffhanger but man. how good would it be if we got buck nde while eddie was leaving LA to go get chris back and had no way of knowing. like maybe its the a shift's day off and eddie decides on a whim that actually, he wants his kid back mom, and he buys a last minute plane ticket. and buck gets into a car accident or his loft burns down or whatever. and everyone's in the hospital waiting room getting frustrated at eddie's number going straight to voicemail and wondering just where the fuck eddie is. meanwhile eddie's on the plane sitting and thinking like Hmmm i wonder if chris will come more willingly if i mention buck's name... :)
