when a company offers a "compromise", look at it like that's what they were implementing in the first place.

chances are, the company is trojan horsing its userbase - giving them a shit deal and then presenting them with a better one when the backlash starts to come in. The deal will be better, but NOT good. do not fall for this tactic

I've tried godot for like the first time today (i dont count the time i installed it and got frustrated and uninstalled it) its pretty similar to unity's component system which is nice!! Im going to work on a small platformer and maybe something else and ill let you know what i think

For all those around the world waking up to an angry Europe and not knowing why, Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest by performing a song that is blatantly identical to, and plagiarising of, Abba’s ‘Winner Takes It All’, just remixed as a dance track. They lost the public vote, robbing Finland of what was seen as a well-deserved and well-earned victory, to the point that people are calling for the annexation of the professional jury and calling the contest rigged and paid for in order to tie in to Abba’s 50 year anniversary next year when the contest will be hosted in Sweden.
