dissertation work is taking up a lot of my time while I wait for lectures to begin for my uni’s summer semester. the hot weather makes me not want to work, so I’m fighting against my lizard brain urge to soak in the warmth and be lazy.

the Lego flowers in the last photo above were gifts from my girlfriend and I wanted to share them because they’re so beautiful. we’ve got matching Lego flowers and I love them so much because I always get sad when living flowers die! I love her so much

Because I realised that last night, walking in the snow with my flatmates, WAS EXACTLY A DREAM I HAD MONTHS AGO BEFORE I EVEN MET THEM ALL!

Nothing like dragging your fevered ass to the table to read 4 chapters and do a quiz the night before it’s due next day and having no way to contact your teacher to say your sick for the next morning so you may have to get some of those medical masks for the day after

literally the biggest thing i've learned so far from university (as a literature and history student) is that food/eating/digesting is the primary tool of love. cooking people food? love. eating other people? love. jesus feeding people his body? love. taking power of countries is easy when you control a food supply (the caesar's reign). "life is sustained by feeding on dead matter", we consume food to live, destroying something in the process. and giving someone food is the ultimate love- keeping them alive and nourished. so yeah,, cannibalism is romantic.

folks, it’s been a week! my philosophy module has me reading words I don’t understand even though they’re in my native language of English, lmao. confusing stuff!

i saw the above purple flowers and thought they were beautiful! they almost remind me of stars. not sure what type they are, but I’m thinking of them as starburst flowers.

at the bottom is a watercolour I did for my girlfriend using a colour page. for my first attempt at shading using watercolours, I think it wasn’t too bad!

i just gotta yell about this real quick: applying for unis sucks because they love keeping you waiting for their decisions. my grades are pretty good but still not good enough and i’m kinda upset. for my uk peeps, ucas sucks ass i hope the five decisions thing rots in hell. and for my us peeps, commonapp can suck my dick the supp essays should be slain brutally. and for my hk peeps the interviews should be hung quartered and drawn. ok thankyoubye
