Yandere but they are actually close to you. You're scared and panicked because there's this stranger that's stalking you. "It's like they know everything about me! What am I supposed to do?" You're venting and crying into their arms as you tell them about the countless messages and alarming threats. They've even got their hands of pictures of you! Which caused you to stop uploading on your social media's. You're confining in your best friend, the most trustworthy and reliable person you know. As if they always know what and when to say it. They're comforting you and petting your hair asking if you want them to spend the night. If not, do you want them to be on the phone with you until you fall asleep?

+ Yandere best friend who's coming home with the biggest smile on their face. They can't help it! God, the way you were crying and pleading had their heart racing and hands shaking. "You're just so adorable! I want to take care of you and be the only one to see you!" They're clutching their chest as they sigh, oh, but what's this? If you truly focused, you'd have noticed you never once came over to your supposedly best friends house. That everytime you think about going to get serious help, they're telling you not to, strongly against the idea. Know nothing about the extra phones they have and endless stalking accounts they use to stalk you. Don't know about the pictures scattered all over their home, from the halls to their bedroom. Every single one being you.

Massive, entirely unaware of it. Stumbling over himself when he sees you, bumping into your side whenever you walk together, always hunching and ducking. Uneasy on his feet but with the sweetest lopsided smile. When he wants to run, he can, breaking into a full sprint that becomes terrifying- but around you, he softens. Just wanting to be close so badly that he can’t help but get clumsy.

Perking up whenever he sees you, too. That same big dumb grin, eyebrows shooting up like piqued dog ears, wobbly posture as if shook by his wagging tail. Eyes that say “hi, hello, what are we doing? I’m happy to see you! Hello!” Even when his words fail him and he just warbles out an accented rendition of your name. And if the boundaries are down and he can touch, rest assured he will be coming in for a cuddle or a headpat or just a warm hand on your arm.

He gets a bit pouty and needy, too. Of course, he’s a grown man. He understands that you need friends to have a healthy life, and he would hate to get in the way of that. But sometimes, seeing you go out with your buddies, he… gets an ache. He wants to be there. You need space, he knows that, but… he just hates to miss your smiles.

And god forbid you’re ever in trouble. Because he goes from puppy to guard dog very fast. All that excited, enamoured energy distills down to a cool rage inherent in his very bones. Big paws and teeth used to gently bat and play become a silent threat, arms over his chest, imposing like a shadow.

But when the threat passes, and he looks at you with those big eyes, proud and confident that he did his job? Please give him plenty of kisses and praise. He’ll melt all the way back to a puppy again.

exploring raven and qrow's dynamic via their semblances is so so so fun and tasty like i've transcended canon this is my city now lol

they would see their own semblance as more trouble than they're worth; for qrow it's how he's not wanted by people upon learning about misfortune, for raven it's attracting people who only want the perks of kindred link—the worst case scenarios being someone wanting him dead, or forcing a bond by any means necessary.

but to each other??? kindred link is proof that someone cares, that no matter how far he tries to go, not only can his sister be there in a second, but she gets a warning if his life is in danger, and by being close to her brother, the way people are wary of misfortune, keeping their distance, makes him the safest place for her.

Mortis would be there, and they could comfort each other through it. Everyone that mattered was pulled inside, dragons corralled into the empty wing of the basement, livestock ushered under cover. Lavius knew, he couldn't save them. They are doomed, have been doomed for a long time. The home he's spent so long building up from the ground, bloodied his hands over, it'll be gone, come morning. But, Mortis will be there, and they'll find each other again. The Gods promised, they'll save their people. Save those who've called this world home. He isn't sure he believes them, he's never been a religious man. But, he'll believe it if it means he doesn't lose Mortis. He'd believe anything if it was for Mortis, always. Always, always, always.

such an interesting line in retrospect cuz yeah he said this but he still immediately went out of his way to defend iris, something which hes only ever done for edgeworth btw. like he still had faith in her despite mentally scorning her as a coward.. like was this supposed to be another example of phoenix knowing more than the player, like how in aa2 he knew abt edgeworths "suicide" while we the players didnt? is this aa3 hinting that phoenix suspected tht there mustve been another explanation for dahlia's/iris' actions? cuz if thats the case then that was horribly written lmfao.

like idkkk like id like to think that this would indicate that phoenix is internally more conflicted abt dahlia/iris than his external actions seems to show, but still its like whyyy did he go out of his way to defend iris then. he didnt have any reason to think that the girl he dated and the girl who tried to poison him were different people. or maybe he did idk. IDK the writing of iris' character was just very blwefhkjds like shes just this mysteriousss character who looks incredibly similar to our evil ex. and because spirit channelling is on the table and also bc we arent certain on what happened to dahlia we have no idea who this iris girl actually is. is she dahlia or is she not. its like i said its just... it seems to me like aa3's whole thesis is about withholding faith in a person despite all the contradictory evidence, and this is reflected in the way that phoenix still believes that the girl he dated is not the girl who tried to poison him. except with the way that aa3 is written this just makes phoenix look unhealthy and delusional bc there is no basis on why phoenix should believe that, because we never once see how phoenix remembers iris. and with this line of him calling dahlia/iris coward, but also saying this shit at the end
