From the musical artistry, storytelling, vocal performances, and acting, Jorge Rivera-Herrans has it all. It is truly one of the best pieces of art that I have ever experienced. The emotions that it invokes are truly something that needs to be experienced. The Underworld Saga just dropped today, so check it out!

When the prophet tells Odysseus that he sees a man with his wife, a dangerous killer with a trail of bodies behind him, and Odysseus screams like he never has before, even when the guy told them they were never going to get home- chef kiss

Knowing that that dangerous killer IS Odysseus- donkey kick to the gut.

The thing about Odysseus is that he was so proud to be able to take all six hundred of his men through a horrific war and survive. And then he lets a cyclops live and he gets into the underworld and one of the first things he hears is the souls of his dead crew accusing him "558 men who died under your command". The baby he killed.

and then Polities shows up. telling him to lead from the heart because that's what he's been trying to tell Odysseus for so long. All of his regrets, all in one place to torment him

Something I adore about this saga is how the songs all end with such powerful and forceful singing. It almost feels like Odysseus is trying to drown out the screams he hears by being louder with his own pain and convictions
