If you headcanon that the magic of the Barrier causes human eyes to change and match their Soul colors, is there a fallen child whose eyes are technically still the same color but brighter/richer now?

Because if it was the same color that'd be a subtle mindscrew compared to the more blatant "wHY ARE MY EYES-" reaction that a Justice, Bravery, or Perseverance Soul would have.

You keep looking in the mirror certain that something is off but you can't pin down what exactly it is.

This is what I imagined happening for aimee (patience) and maybe devin (perserverance). Aimee already had blue eyes, so theirs mainly got brighter, while devin had these darker blue eyes that got a bit shifted in hue to purple, which is still noticeably different, but I think if they wanted to be in hard denial about it then they could argue its just the glasses or something

I really like that now the fandom made Blueberry and CANON Swap Sans literatly two diferent things, but i like to imagine them ending being friends despite Swap Sans being very annoyed with Blueberrie's presence and has to tolerate hes annoyace, but yknow, Blue is babey.

SILLY IDEA AHEAD!!!

For like a month now ive had an idea for a small utmv animated series based on new years.

This is gonna sound very silly:

Right after the Christmas party, a mysterious letter is sent out to multiple different outcode sans aus:

Classic/Swap/fell/nightmare's gang/ink/ error and so on.

The letter invited everyone to help organize a new years festival on the surface of an empty au, an au without any trace of life,no human or monster.

Everyone had a reason to attend, the star sanses wanted to invite as many other sans aus as possible, nightmare was plotting something to destroy the festival and cause as much chaos as possible, that however is thrown out the window when he starts sensing a huge amount of negativity lurking in the shadows.

On the other hand, shattered dream (yeah shattered is here lmao), is also trying to ruin the festival for shits and giggles and ends up investigating the source of the negativity, with swad , yeah swad is here too.

Eventually the sanses start to notice strange things, locations and objects are changing, the doodle sphere starts looking strange, aus are becoming harder to access and everything is starting to twist , error discovers that the letter is actually an algorithm, meant to send itself to multiple sanses at the same time.

With everyone distracted with the festival preparation, no one seems to notice that the multiverse is slowly falling apart.

So who sent the letter? What's the purpose of the festival? and what's the cause of the rampant negativity despite the happy mood with new years approaching?

Now add to this a shit ton of character interaction and a whole lot of shipping material, the mtt being silly, and everyone being mostly their canon self, and a bunch of different sides to the same story and you an absolute shit show.

Things may change in the story, I actually don't know if I'll ever get to even make this, I lack both time and skill, and yet I have so many ideas it's killing me, oh well, only time will tell where I'll go with this.

I was looking back through your character analysis stuff bc you are great(!) at this kinda thing and you said a sentence that has me curious in so many different ways.

In the best possible way, what the hell does this mean? What *could* this mean? I'd it referring to the obvious answer of "He starts getting LV"? Is it referring to him working up the underground's political system (becoming King for some reason)? Is it some secret third option???

Even if this is obvious or meant to be left to suggestion, I would love an expansion and/or exploration of this idea further because it is so captivating.

king mtt ending: dystopian, celebrity king with zero leading experience and dubious mental stability (he is one stage of grief away from killing himself at any moment), takes power in his own hands, sets off a countrywide brainwashing campaign, ignores the kingdom's multiple crisis and if anyone opposes him too much they "disappear". what does sans do? why, he climbs up the social ladder (either by kissing his ass or making himself useful) and secures himself a place as his agent. he neither fights or miss l nor survives the system, he exploits it to cover his own ass, and rip bozo to the poor bastards underneath. now, with papyrus still around he'd obviously have something else left to care about and dedicate himself to after securing their own safety in the system, but if papyrus is gone, well. i don't see why he should give a fuck and not go along with whatever plans mtt has

empress undyne ending: undyne seizes power, declares war (again), expands the royal guard massively, and turns the underground into a massive military state hoping to crush humanity. what does sans do? ...well, we don't know for sure. he ends the phonecall on a rather vague threat

lots of people take this to mean that he's really, REALLY hoping undyne will kick your ass, but still acts as a passive observer. which i think is a perfectly good reading. now, i wouldn't say what I'm about to propose is canon, more like a personal theory/hc of mine... but there's another line in the phonecall I'd like to call attention to. and well. when you connect the two? considering sans' background as a scientist?

...i think they have some REALLY fun implications :]

Uh, I suppose the closest I ever got was making one alongside my girlfriend in discord chats around 11 months ago and never got to fully finish creating together..

It was called VOV!Sans from VOV!Tale, which is short for Vessel of Virdis iirc. It’s been awhile since I reread these messages (we talked a lot like everyday about a lot of stuff lmao), but if I recall correctly the basic idea was that Gaster found a way to merge Player and a Sans—and was intending to make a weapon, an ultimate judge, to prevent further Resetting or Determined humans.

I can’t recall all the details right now, but there was a little shapeshifting parasite called bubble whose purpose was to help VOV and keep them calm. And we made like multiple endings, and at one point there was talk about VOV taking over the normal Sans’ place and poorly pretending to be him?

Talk about how VOV hated and feared people (especially scientists and Gasters), and also hated touch, and would attack people to make them leave them alone. Would never join the Bad Sanses, we described his possible outfits and powers.

I'm still kinda working on his colors(I kinda like him in normal Swap!Sans colored clothes, but idk I'm still working on his design)

Ver was a normal Swap till he ended up in the antivoid, ended up like this. He has no sense of volume to his voice, ending up yelling or just having a high volume to him. So his blue/cyan eye, when he's mad or panicked, that eye with pulse(seen in the first Image at the bottom.

What is your DreamTale accident story/headcanons for The Dark Fortress? I'm just curious about it because I couldn't find anything on that topic on your blog accept for the romantic headcanons in Donovan's part but it was pretty vague.

I'll be honest, I never put a lot of thought into this as I wasn't really planning on writing much more for The Dark Fortress. I may have had an idea when I wrote it but I don't really remember much. Although, I did intentionally make his backstory vague to add to his mysterious character.

From what I do remember, the "Dreamtale Kingdom" (I never came up with a proper name) was ruled by a Queen, who was Nim and Donovan's mother. (I never actually named Dream either but my friend @wendelin-utt once suggested "Finn" as it means "white, blessed" in old Irish.)

Anyways, there was an uprising for whatever reason and Nim was mortally injured/killed? Donovan also nearly died and consequently ate the Black Apples to survive, which corrupted him. He's thought to be dead by his brother and his original kingdom has since collapsed.

I may return to this idea at some point? I had an idea to introduce Fresh somehow and have MC bond with Dirk, otherwise I don't really have any ideas. It's a shame though cause I really like the idea I had.

One of the key ideas is that every AU is a kingdom, so every character technically exists in this fantasy world. I've always wanted to write this sort of crossover and fantasy is my favourite idea, but I don't know. Maybe when I have less projects on the go I'll get around to it.

Until then, I don't mind you all sending in ideas or questions. It means a lot that you actually like this silly thing I thought of!
