Two Tips to Better Understand God's Word
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (FBV) says, “Always be full of joy, never stop praying, be thankful in every situation—because this is what God in Christ Jesus wants you to do.” While the same verses in the World English Bible (US) version say, “[16] Always rejoice. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.” Do you ever read

Understanding 3 Nephi 14:15-20: A Warning to Beware of False Prophets
Understanding the warning against false prophets in 3 Nephi 14:15-20 can be like standing on the edge of a dense forest, cautious of wolves in sheep's clothing.
Beware of False Prophets: Identifying and Responding to Deception in Faith In 3 Nephi 14:15, we encounter a powerful warning that resonates through time: “Beware of false prophets.” These words aren’t just a cautionary note; they’re a critical reminder of the need for discernment. False prophets often appear as benign or even benevolent figures, cloaked in the guise of truth. But beneath the

One thing about Maralyn’s Imperator is that she is just so expressive, only watching her face during the family dinner chapter is so entertaining

Nihil is talking about how they discussed that Copia needs to make television appearances and Psaltarian is slowly nodding along but Sister looks like she was not clued in on this shit at all. Or, at least she didn’t expect Nihil to ruin their beautiful takeout dinner on the folding table with talking business

Lolol sometimes it’s so funny reading peoples posts about “Mormon” theology that is based on Exmo stories, tradition/culture but not doctrine, and like random statements by some church leader 200 years ago that was not put into doctrine/canonized, or that he was corrected/reprimanded on, and all of us look back on like “well that guy was racist/sexist. Anyways moving on
” like tbh it just makes me laugh. Like I know our theology is a bit different than mainstream Christianity but y’all don’t need to make it sound like we are out here truly believing half the stuff you say about us.

So in summation; they lie, cheat and steal to support their ridiculous narratives and 90% of the population is below average intelligence to understand any of it. 👇

The Song of Song's is sensual!!!1!
The Song of Song's is spiritual!!!!1!
The song of songs is spiritual and sensual, and literal and allegorical, and dreamy and passionate, and mystical and earthly, and erotic and pure, and romantic and abstinent, and idealistic and realistic, and pastoral and political, and religious and relatable, and historical and messianic.
And a failure to understand that all of these things are simultaneously true and are not opposites nor contradictions, is a failure to understand this book. And it's a book worth understanding. This book reverses the Fall of the (G)arden. It is Paradise Restored. It is the healing of the relationship between humans and humans, between humans and The Divine, and between humans and nature.
I repeat, a failure to understand this, is a failure to understand this book. Now go read it!
Also, one final thing: no, The Song of Songs is not in conflict with "Pauline Theology" (goodness I hate that phrase). In fact both the author of Songs and Paul are both dedicated to the same thing: healing the rift between humans and each other, and healing the rift between humans and God. Part of understanding the Scriptures is understanding that is is a commentary on itself. It all goes BACK to Genesis 1-3 (The Sublime Creation Narrative, and the (G)Arden Narrative) and FORWARD to the Messiah

I have so much brainrot about Medic's wife, specifically the design from the comic doodles that Makani drew, I'm so ready to draw a whole comic about her, man I love hallucinating.

I would like to clarify to my newer followers that I am not an ED page, and I've actually recovered from anorexia in the past year. and although I have no issue with ED blogs, I will be blocking anyone who posts pro-ED content or rubs me the wrong way. we're here for pretty pictures and silly posts, and although we sometimes vent about heavy shit, this is not the space for promoting disordered behavior, girlies. let's promote healthy behaviors whenever we can, 'kay?

When you look up at the heavens are you seeing above the stars? Who told you about this image? Was it not the nations?
Isaiah 13,14
You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to the heavens. Above the stars of God I will lift up my throne, And I will sit down on the mountain of meeting, In the remotest parts of the north. I will go up above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself resemble the Most High.’
Matthew 4:16,17
The people sitting in darkness saw a great light, and as for those sitting in a region of deathly shadow, light rose on them.” From that time on, Jesus began preaching and saying: “Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.”
Matthew 10:7
As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’

With most of the Church characters, the commoner / noble starting classes feel like more of an aftertought than anything. Because in addition to Alois, Seteth & Flayn both have the noble class (? why ? they clearly aren't nobles ? Did they feel like they couldn't put "commoner" on the Nabateans ???)
I think the only case of discrepancy that could have a cool / interesting explanation is Petra having the commoner base class : her status as princess is not recognised by Adrestia, as she is a political hostage ?
Mercie too is a commoner, even if she was an Adrestian noble -
But given how she ran away from her dad and her adoptive one is not a noble it'd make sense that she would have been registered as a "commoner".
For Seteth'n'Flayn, maybe it's more or less to explain that they are "special people" in the Archbishop's immediate circle, thus more or less considered and seen as "nobles" rather than commoners, but fwiw, especially in the Church, it doesn't amount to a thing.
In the rest of Fodlan though, maybe due to their perceived link to Rhea, they are treated like nobles?
5 years later, and I still can't fathom how the game(s) completely elude the background of the Nabateans and their paperthin disguise to pretend to be common and totes regular "humans".
They don't have surnames, they don't have any "made-up" backstory like being born and raised in a remote church or whatever, hell Rhea's backstory - as the Archbishop! - isn't developed at all and we had to wait for Nopes to get confirmation that she periodically fakes her death to appoint a new persona as her successor, because her title isn't hereditary...
How did this even manage to work, idk - but then their horrible dyejob was enough to convince humans that the Saints were totally not the people with green hair and pointy ears Nemesis'n'pals butchered a few decades ago.
So it's just a big "idk" and/or another proof that the devs dgaf about Nabateans because even writing this down makes me realise that if you want to get a plausible enough backstory/background/cover story for them, you either need to rework Jeralt's entire story or write Fodlan people to be extremely gullible, but with the conspiracy theories going on in the game it isn't coherent :
Manu believesthe Monastery is set between the three countries for a ReAsOn - but won't comment on Rhea's eternal youth, or how she looks like the other Archbishops, only Hanneman muses on Seteth's age while inquisitive!Sylvain is only puzzled by the resemblance between Rhea and the blonde lady from his stepmom's painting (granted, he is at war so maybe coming up with weird theories isn't on his priority list).

As you read these 👇 think about what is really going on.
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
- John 10:10
Do you see this 👇 happening?
He will speak words against the Most High [God] and wear down the saints of the Most High, and he will intend to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, [two] times, and half a time [three and one-half years].
- Daniel 7:25
And almost the same thing is repeated 👇
And the beast was given a mouth (the power of speech), uttering great things and arrogant and blasphemous words, and he was given freedom and authority to act and to do as he pleased for forty-two months (three and a half years).
- Revelation 13:5
You see 👇
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.
- Ephesians 6:12
That's why we must 👇
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.
- 1 Peter 5:8
I think I have connected enough dots to reveal just how biblical this time is. It's up to you to understand. đŸ€”

when reading scripture or religious texts in my studies from a variety of religions (a not-insignificant part of my education has been religious studies) i can appreciate and understand the beauty and appeal of it and make sense of its internal logic system and worldview and feel that i'm picking up what it's putting down even if i don't necessarily identify with it on a personal level, but i gotta be honest i always feel like i'm missing something or losing my mind when i read christian texts like i don't get it and it doesn't make sense to me and nothing about the trinity makes sense to me and the entire worldview feels so harsh and terrifying and bleak for no reason and every time i've asked anyone in my family (on the christian side) to explain any of it to me like sincerely i just feel more baffled and whenever i've had to read passages of the new testament i dont get it at all like even abstractly i don't understand and it makes me feel crazy like what i'm looking at has to be completely different from what other people are seeing and i don't mean it in a reddit atheist smug asshole way like it's genuinely beyond my comprehension I Don't Get It and i don't think i ever will
