"Where the chuck did I put my towel?" Poppy asked aloud to herself as she continued to look around the bedroom. That was until the creaking of the door drew the opossum's attention. "Oh, hey Blaze," she said as she turned to face the princess. "What for? I mean, we are engaged now. Figured it'd make seeing each other naked a little less weird."

The first time was certainly a bit awkward, though now they were formally engaged so she saw no reason to stress about it now. Then again Poppy and Blaze still didn't know each other on a super deep personal level. Maybe she should start working on changing that now. "I was about to take a shower. Ya wanna share?"

The opossum pressing her body up against her girlfriends a bit to tease her a bit more. We are well beyond canary in the coalmine warning levels with the way trans people and particularly trans women are treated on this site.

Maybe you've heard the metaphor of allowing wolves and sheep to share the same space, welcoming everyone. You end up with just wolves because allowing them in that space makes it unsafe for any sheep. Or the story about how a nazi goes into a dive bar and is refused service. The bartender then explains to someone else at the bar that if you serve them once they tell their friends and before you know it you're the nazi bar they all go to and normal customers don't feel safe.

Terfs and other bigots are seeing these targeted harassment campaigns succeed against trans women and rejoicing. They see Tumblr ban them and officially stand by those decisions as endorsement for their harassment. It's a sign to bigots across the internet that Tumblr is a good place for them.

And what's more is that a lot of us probably don't realize just how much trans women contribute to Tumblr. The women banned recently were sources of site-wide memes and posts I wasn't even aware originated from them.any years old memes and references can be traced back to trans women on this site.

How many of these folks have to be removed before this is no longer a site you want to be a part of it? Sure you cultivate your own experience, but you can't follow or interact with people who aren't here. And if I wanted to interact with the nazis and terfs I'd go to reddit.

I encourage everyone to reblog this. Trans women shouldn't have to be the only ones speaking out against the bigotry they're experiencing. They shouldn't be the only ones risking their blogs being nuked by staff. We have to stand with them.

obsessed with the fact that if you choose the last purple option in lucanis' romance chat before going off to tearstone island ("they MOVED the MOON!!!" still in the running for the best delivery in the whole game btw it's so ineffably hilarious to me), it's rook who flinches away just a little bit (if still warmly <3) and tries to change the topic and lucanis who's steady even though he's clearly still so afraid. 'don't tempt fate'/'*the softest fucking voice you've ever heard in your entire life* I don't intend to'. pain and suffering

lucanis looking at rook and helplessly, with a wonder that verges on despair, saying 'what would I do without you?' is soooo. especially at that point in the relationship and with what's about to happen. and for whatever reason rook can't quite stay with the fact that they do mean that much to someone, that they are so reverently and so groundingly 'I want to know what your favourite food is so I can make it for you any time you want it' everyday loved, it's too much and they have to deflect from it or the fear of losing it. can say some very interesting things about them, too.

(there is also a Pattern in that in my estimation lucanis frequently responds better to inviting humour than to earnest shows of concern -- it seems to help him be more engaged/online to be offered that more neutral space to meet you in and uh 'build' the conversation around something funny together than to be confronted with compassion head-on because that clearly mostly deer-in-the-headlights him, as we also see with some of the early flirt options haha. contrast this especially with bellara, who repeatedly gets genuinely upset if you try to make light of some pressing and painful situation she's dealing with (girl I'm so sorry I'm so jestercore and I canot change this but I'll try :'( for you). I think the times lucanis reacts negatively to the purple options are much more about you siding with other (frequently more charismatic lol) people against him or throwing him under the bus interpersonally -- like seeming to go along with illario's charm offensives, or telling teia lucanis didn't want to come help out with caterina's funeral and he'd just sit alone and brood about it if you didn't force him (???!!! hello??? unprovoked and deeply unkind out of left field???? this option is so fucking MEAN and for what fhdaskjfa you're telling me there's no way for rook to be a bit of a dick in this game?)

when it's one on one conversation he consistently seems to find it quite comforting, though... which makes a lot of sense because in many ways it's how he interacts with illario, just shorn of the resentments and hidden daggers and things they Do Not Talk About but really should beneath the levity that makes it sharp. it's gone ugly between them, but I think the affectionate instinct beneath is real and goes back a long way before all of that festered -- it's a form of play he does with people he loves. and uh. not really caterina huh. notably.)

Poppy would gulp a bit having never been this nervous about doing it with someone before. Maybe it was because Blaze as a royal or perhaps she never thought someone like them would ever notice some country girl like her. She did take note of the small flash of blue fire making her wonder her the color changes depending on her mood. Regardless the opossum would take a seat on the bed, though careful not to put her whole weight on it as she was much heavier that she seems due to her rather absurd muscle mass and has broken beds just by sitting on them before. She was still nervous about this, though focused on the Princess's words.

"Well, not to brag, though I ain't met anyone who could leave a mark on me before, though I'm sure you've got better tricks than anyone else I've been with." Poppy did have an advantage of magic not working on her along with having a rather sturdy body. Of course hearing the next words make the opossum flustered once again. "I guess another kiss wouldn't hurt. Was kinda let down when the first one ended." Perhaps being a bit too honest, though who doesn't like honest, right?

Poppy would have to fight the urge to lean back when Blazed leaned against her as she began to sweat a bit along with blushing, yet she would steel her nerves and suddenly go in for a rather sloppy and deep kiss due to the fact she just went for it. The opossum would slowly start to easy up and let the kiss become more natural and solid as her hands would grab the sides of the Princess's hips. If she kept this pace up she'd be making out with the royal feline soon enough.

Blaze just smiled gently back at the possum as she wanted to take things slow. She had zero intentions of rushing things, but she did want Poppy to be more comfortable. To have someplace to rest, relax, and enjoy the intimacy. But Rush? certainly not! She slowly turned toward Poppy, showing off her rather petite breasts, truthfully she could alter her physical form, but she never found the desire to. This was her true mortal self---tiny boobs and all. She slowly slid down onto the side of her bed and pat the spot next to her in a rather inviting manner, her tail swishing as a little blue flay flashed on the tip, but was fleeting at best. A sign of her own excitement, and desire to be with Poppy.

" Nice and slow it is... we do have the entire night... and worry not--- i won't damage that lovely form of yours. I wouldn't dream of leaving more marks then is necessary. "

She winked at Poppy subtly implying she did intend to leave a few marks, perhaps a bite or two. Or maybe some scratches, it did depend on how exciting things got and how intense they became. She had her fair share of mortal lovers in her time, not all them became more then a fling. But only time would tell how she and poppy got along.

" Perhaps you'd like to start with another kiss? or perhaps there is something you'd like to touch... or feel... or perhaps a simple embrace? "

she wouldn't rush Poppy, but once she had joined her on the bed she touched her hand to caress the top of it as she leaned herself closer. Her lips close yet not quite touching the others. She'd let the other initiate the embrace, let her come to her for that tender touch. Only then would she pull her into a sweet embrace filled with her warmth and love.

She wanted this to be a moment to be remembered, for the both of them.

What kind of murderer do you fancy Alastor as back on earth? (Forgive me this is a bit long, I started to ramble dkdkgk)

I tend to see it get handwaved once we're in hell, since anyone Alastor tenderizes just comes back later anyways, but there's a couple of different Flavors I'll see people give Alastor specifically for his serial killing back on earth.

The one I see most often is people giving him a moral code he uses to conduct Wholesome™ murders back on earth. Abusers, racists, door-to-door salesmen. If the law wasn't doing its job (or more accurately, working as intended), then Alastor provided REAL justice. This flavor tends to frame it less as Alastor killing cuz he wants to and more like a hero using the power of incredible violence out of necessity. Though sometimes I'll see him killing as a hobby, he just keeps to this strict moral code about it

Just as common, though slightly less I think, he's definitely killing for funsies, but has a moral code telling him who's off limits. He avoids women and children, and hilariously good people are often safe, but everyone else is fair game. If you're a regular dude who's like, fine I guess, you are DEFINITELY still on the menu

Least common flavor is the "if you're in reach of a sticky hand and I can get away with it, you're on the hit list." This I've observed tends to be saved for fics where Alastor's the antagonist or we're going full villain-mode and reveling in the moral bankruptcy XD

There's definitely all sorts of in-between flavors, but these are the ones I see pop up most often lol. SO! I was curious if you had any headcanons or preferences over what kind of serial killing Alastor did topside :3

I can definitely understand the appeal of the vigilante justice route, but I absolutely have an affinity for an Alastor who killed for shits and giggles and wasn't TOO concerned with who's on the other side of that knife. Love me a bitch who's done some unethical shit for absolutely no reason (⁠人⁠ ⁠•‌⁠ᴗ⁠•‌⁠) adds SPICE, y'know XD

I like to go for a fourth option! >:D I like to think that Alastor does have a moral code for killing, but that it basically amounts to "people I don't like."

There are so many stories out there of serial killers targeting women who look like their mom because they have mommy issues; I think Alastor should get to have the opposite. He kills wealthy, powerful, probably-white men because he has daddy issues and as a result that is the exact kind of man that, just, pisses him off to a murderous extent. He would never hurt a lady! Not because women can do no wrong in his eyes, but because he has a particular image of himself and that would be ungentlemanly. Any Vox-alike, however...

At the same time, I don't think he in any way acted with the intent of being a vigilante for any true justice. Like, maybe he does go out of his way sometimes to find a particularly heinous individual, but that's not really for the greater good. It's an excuse to satisfy his desire to put a wealthy man in his place - on the wrong side of the grass. And if it's a week when he sees that someone was being a little sleazy around Mimzy, or an obnoxious guest on his radio show spoke to him with that particular tone... you don't have to be a rapist to be worthy of Alastor blowing off some steam.

Anyway, tl;dr, I like to think murder was his tension release and so he generally went for people he found annoying (aka. people like his father) under a thin veil of "the world is better off without them anyway." He probably had a lot of revenge fantasies about his dad and the next closest thing was grabbing a shotgun and chasing some sleazy suit-and-tie through the woods barefoot.

What did/do you like about Pharah?

Uh, gameplay-wise, I really love characters in shooters who rely on three-dimensional movement techs. Chaining together hover and jump to stay in the air for as long as possible and keep momentum is so satisfying, and picking enemies off from the sky made me feel like a bird of prey. I was a good Pharah main.

Story-wise, there unfortunately isn't much to canonically go off because Pharah is so underutilized and neglected. Her personality's pretty boilerplate "heroic hero" (she's literally inspired by Captain America).

But it's the crumbs/bits and pieces that I really latched onto. Pharah's a confirmed lesbian; her short story with Baptiste implies she harbors a crush on Mercy (fucking thank you.). She's biracial Egyptian/First Nations. She has major mommy issues, having grown up both admiring and resenting Ana. She's the bridge between Old Overwatch, inspired by the idealized heroes who surrounded her childhood, and New Overwatch. She's one of the only inter-generational characters in the cast; someone whose experiences span the gap, which is why I seriously believe Pharah would make a great main character.

There isn't much to go off of, though; she's a very uncomplicated character (she's a soldier for a private military corporation, lol.). But that just means she's a blank slate character, so I've seen fanfic writers run wild and create some really interesting takes on her. My favorite interpretation of her's a dense, herbo gym-bro type (a lot of her liens are about work outs, exercising, and playing sports) who's easily excitable under her seemingly self-serious, armored visage. We see how she tends to gloat and hype herself up when she's on a streak too, so Pharah definitely has a competitive and boastful side under her more professional and militant performance.

Now Mercy? Mercy is a real complex character.

"Nah, supposed I'm just a bit surprised seeing as how many times you've tied me up. Then again, I'm gonna guess there haven't been too many you've gotten to tie ya up~" Poppy knew Sallie was a tough and took notice she seemed to be quick to get things going. "Glad you're all comfy cause I intend to take my time having some fun with ya~" The opossum said giving the imp's rear a good squeeze and grope before standing up. "So, guessing ya want me to take ya to your room. Unless ya don't mind having a bit of fun out in the open~" She knew that her girlfriend and her parents live pretty far out in the country which was back up just by looking around so the only thing to worry about would be her parents seeing them, yet they didn't seem to be around.

Welp...she was definitely caught. Caught and swatted by her strong girlfriend and trussed up fair and square...safe to say her blush was growing darker and darker. “What, a gal can’t enjoy watchin’ their lover work?” she laughed as she squirmed in the hogtie, unable to find escape. “Nope, looks like ya got me fair and square hun” she smiled happily at the other.
