the sheer amount of dystopian energy watching ppl rave about the met gala and have that and only that as their main concern when over a million lives in rafah are currently in active danger. i get that life moves on and that the "show" must go on and i myself indulge in entertainment but are we serious rn?? the surrealness of it all hurts my mind. what a terrifyingly simple life people lead i will never get. i can't wait for the day all of them perish. be it in this life or the next. there are people out there who genuinely lead the most simple, ignorant, comfortable, detached-from-reality, unconcerned, and cushy soft lives. and there are a lot of them. and they simply won't look and point out "hey! that's wrong! you have to stop!" despite knowing that one word from them and half of the population drops everything to do as they say. and even if they do not have that kind of social and political power, they don't even bother to lift a single finger or hear the screams of the abused, scorned, banished, hunted, burned, murdered. and because they do not know the pain of being chased away from a home, of being voiceless to the rest of the world, of having no power at all— the pain of facing humanity's worst— they turn a blind eye and forget. dismiss. refute. shun. to not know is not a sin, but i believe to not learn is. and this isn't just about rafah rn or the decades of anguish behind it. this is a story older than time. and it's still ongoing in so many other parts of the world to so many other populations who go unnoticed and unheard and it hurts me deeply when they refuse to be human. can't even call them animals because even animals have mercy out of their natural, built-in behaviours. i am not judging (who am i to judge, i am but a speck of nothingness in the grand scheme of things) people who aren't as vocal about this when i know that they are doing something to actively help behind the curtains. anything. something. but not doing anything AND not at least speaking about it and being a witness to it? what a world.

dexter - this man was hard to pinpoint EXACTLY where i’d think he’d be from, buuut since his rv’s from russellville AND he has that kind of northwest arkansas energy, i think it fits pretty darn well. he probably also knows where the best state parks are and has been to nearly every single one, since he seems the most likely member of all the wranglers to like that kind of stuff. hiking out in nature that isn’t out to fuck you up with storms.

man the thing about beauty standards and being ugly and being pretty and being insecure is that ultimately you do just kinda have to Decide that youre pretty. like ultimately thats how you become pretty, or hot, or sexy. you have to just Decide that you Are. you have to recognize that its made up, its arbitrary, its subjective, and that people might disagree with you about it, and as much as you are able, you need to completely and utterly disregard their opinions on your appearance, and decide that youre pretty now. and THEN.

you can look at ppl arguing about the correct amount of skincare products to use daily, the Correct Amount of makeup, and whether or not its radical to conform to beauty standards or defy them and argue about is it really conforming if visible makeup pisses men off, and you can say, well I dont care about any of that, I recognize the societal pressures of flawless skin and all that but you see,

Well alright, let's use our braincells here, okay?

When you say that I "like fictional murder" I assume that you're referring to me writing stories with darker themes.

Never ever do I myself say that I want to actually murder these characters. If you pay any lick of attention, you can catch me saying that I feel bad for characters in scenarios- and sometimes I try to push so the tragic event is avoided or seen in some sympathetic light. The basis of Foxy.exe is based on a very gore based Sonic Creepypasta called Sonic.exe, that leans more towards hopeless tales and yep you guessed it -torture porn-, but in most of my explanations of Foxy.exe I make it clear that there's ways to save these characters and that the gore will be minimal because I don't find the overuse of it necessary to the story. It's not torture porn, the concept is mostly in first person perspective, and it's about three poor souls attempting to escape an unpredictable entity. Most gore comes from the antagonist- as without an antagonist there's no story in this scenario!

When you're a proshipper, you're romanticizing, softening, and fetishizing scenarios that replicate real issues that happen. How much of an issue are killer Mascot Games? None. How much of an issue are demonic Fox entities that mark poor nightguards by getting them to play his arcade game? NONE.

But no, somehow because elements of murder are written into a story, that's comparable to someone publicly promoting grooming or rape which happens countless of times and is CONSTANTLY downplayed and not taken seriously which makes REAL PEOPLE'S lives more difficult.

When you say you want to rape something-especially if it's in the image of a child- you are saying you are wanting to rape a child. If you say that you find it cute when fictional fathers groom and touch their confused daughters, you are saying you enjoy watching innocent adults and/or children get groomed!!!!

If I said that I wanted to murder say Jeremy Fitzgerald badly, then yeah- I'd want to murder a guy- but I actually don't treat scenarios and writing like that + I don't write characters disrespectfully.

Yes, you can actually write these things into a story ***carefully*** and it would be clear that your intention is to make a cautionary and tragic point to the story. But you can also not treat it carefully and be like "This is John- he's 45 and rapes his daughter Jane on the basis, but their romance will get better ^w^" EVERYONE knows where your head's at. The audience will see and be affected with how you treat this, and YES- writing can normalize things in people's brains. Stories are literally so important to people that it doesn't just work to the point that one piece of media goes in one ear and comes out the other. People naturally stew and ponder- there's so many sources of evidence to how fictional stories affect society it's not made up.

First we have the Lightning Morph

A simple inoffensive morph that's a favorite amongst people due to being a simplistic shakeup of the usual Pikachu look whilst having no health problems or issues brought upon by the different markings. They're just a zappy guy! There was a brief craze when some Lightning morphs had extended cheek patterns as though lightning was sparking from their cheeks, a favourite being zigzags under the eyes affectionately known as the "Ash Morph" due to the similar shape.

Next we have the Nanab/Banana Morph!

An adorable morph with colors similar to that of the Nanab beery including the browning spots older Nanabs that need using tend to gain. Another loved morph due to lack of health concerns and how different it looks.

And from the Nanab/Banana Morph comes the Peeled Nanab Morph

Characterised by having a paler stomach often times a whole pale front this morph is just a slight variation of the Nanab Morph with the pale stomachs like that of the actual Nanab fruit. There is debate over what counts as a 'true' version of this morph some argue it needs to be a whole body stripe others just the stomach, it's up to interpretation really but for a while this Morph whipped up a frenzy due to their cute pale bellies resulting in them selling for more than their original morph counterpart.

The Sweethearts Morph

A more problematic morph, assumably bred from the banned deluxe shiny morph (the shiny status of this morph is heavily debated as is the legality due to the Pokémon apparent inability to evolve and noted shortened tail that causes issue with absorbing electricity but I digress), and an albino morph making a pink tones Pikachu from the Deluxe Shinys darker more red coat and the Albinos white. They briefly caused a frenzy amongst people with heart shaped patterns having ones selling for much more, however they were quickly banned from being bred and being used in competitions and battles due to health issues. Functionally they are somewhat albino, suffering from many of the similar health conditions they're susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke and require sun protection measures, they often exhaust quickly and can't hold a steady charge and often have eyesight issues. Thus the ones that have been bred must only be kept as companions and not used competitively in any manner.

Lastly the Clown Morph! (hoax)

A small breeder posted on their social media the creation of the Clown Morph a Spinda like Pikachu that quickly became desired. At about midday the same breeder posted that the morph was in fact an April Fools with a video of their very patient Pikachu partner having the Pokémon paint washed off of them. Many people caused uproar about the deceit claiming the breeder used unsafe paints or that they took money from them for a Clown Morph and used it to boost their business but the claims were quickly disproven as it was just some people very angry and not taking being pranked very well. Most saw the funny side of this hoax.

On the topic of physical media, for that debate, if it ever comes up again, tell your teacher that when they get married (or imagine the wedding they already had). The DJ they hired shows up. Their entire system is built on streaming because it’s accessible and the easiest way to get into DJing anymore.

But uh oh. The service isnt great. Or they forgot to download something to play offline. Or the wifi is being weird. Or they were planning on using spotify and suddenly spotify changed their terms of service and wont function as a third party service for DJ equipment (cause that actually happened). So now the DJ you hired doesnt have access to many songs, let alone the ones that you requested for specific moments. So now what? Without physical media, your wedding is out of luck.

The point is, just because the majority of people dont use it regularly, doesnt mean its not something that other people dont need. DJs *need* to be able to make and use physical media. Im sure there are more professions that need it too. But if you want your wedding to go smoothly (music wise) you should 100% have a DJ that has physical media at least as a back up.

(Using weddings as an example cause that tends to be the end all be all event for a lot of people that they always want to go perfect - same could be applied to any event you hire a dj for)

my teacher was on my side of the argument, it was my classmates who were against it.

it started because we brought up music streaming, and I mentioned if you lose the account you bought music through or streamed through, you lose that music, and one particular classmate told me I was wrong (her favourite thing to do, mind you), and that streaming services are a perfectly fine way to do music. and yes, spotify is quick, its convenient, etc. but the example I had was ITunes, specifically the fact that my mum lost hundreds of dollars of music when apple switched from Itunes to apple music, because she doesn't use apple anymore and couldn't sign anything in.

classmate and i then went back and forth for another 10 minutes and classmate finding some kind of counter for every single (what I thought were good) argument I made.

but either way, my general statement in most things, is that physical media is so important, not only because of the "it means you own it" argument, but also for media preservation. so many streaming services just take down shows or movies or music just to clear server space, and it means there is more and more lost media.

like think ahead in your life if you have young kids in your life (be that students, friends kids, family, etc) and you want to show them what you were like as a kid/teenager/young adult/etc, one of the best ways to do that would be pictures in a photo album where yes, something could happen to that photo album, so its a good idea to keep back up copies online anyway, but having that solid tangible picture is so special.
