And the thing that tears me up the most about the Asumi incident is the fact that Kusuo still made sure his first and last friend would be protected. He made sure he wouldn’t be bullied again. And maybe he didn’t see the isolation that might result from that as a bad thing because Kusuo thought that he’d be safer that way
#they’re so tragic#for all his attempts at fitting in Kusuo really doesn’t understand how social needs and contact works#and for all touma’s absolute dedication to being himself regardless of what anyone said#he understands better than Kusuo ever will I think#ugh I’m so insane about them right now#saiki k

i don’t think i’ve ever felt this deranged in my entire life
can't get you out of my head
member | fwb!vernon x f reader genre | smut, like a little tiny bit of angst? with a happy ending word count | 2.4k synopsis | so what if calling your fuck buddy every other day is a little excessive? maybe you're just in love with him. smut warnings | descriptions of female anatomy, lots and lots of kissing, some dacryphilia, multiple orgasms, begging warnings | vernon is called hansol - i don't usually do that but just go with it; vernon is kind of a sweetheart tbh this ended up being pretty soft notes | june is back !! i've really been struggling to write these past few months so i'm actually super proud that i was able to sit down and write this as fast as i did. i can't promise another fic anytime soon or any kind of consistent uploads, but i hope you enjoy this meager offering! thanks for the support even while i've been gone :) also this is based on a dream i had about vernon the other day and i could not stop thinking about it it was driving me crazy, so everyone say thank you to my brain or the sandman or whoever put that idea in my dreams because this fic is a result of it. if there are mistakes pls ignore i wrote this at 2am
the thing you remember most about hansol is his lips.
the first time you kissed him was like opening a door to a world you'd never known existed. your past hookups had been terrible kissers, or even worse—hadn't even tried to kiss you at all. you were sick of the boring, underwhelming sex with men who couldn't care less if you got off or not. but some god or being in the universe must've been looking out for you, because finding hansol was nothing short of a miracle.
it was so good, you weren't even that embarrassed when you'd desperately texted him a couple of nights later, practically begging him to come over and fuck you again. he was burned into your brain, the feeling of his mouth locked with yours seared so deep in your memory you couldn't erase him if you tried, but it wasn't exactly like you wanted to.
he hadn't explicitly said you would only be a one night stand, but you usually didn't hang around the same guy for too long, and he didn't really seem like the commitment type anyway. but when you find something this good, you don't let it go, and somehow you both knew that whatever this was, it was too good to pass up on.
so it wasn't really a surprise when you found yourself on his couch, straddling his lap in the late hours of the night for the third time this week.
like you remembered, his lips were warm and soft, his cheek brushing against yours as you melted into him. you could kiss him for hours and not notice the time passing at all, so focused on the rhythm of his mouth working you up more than anything you'd done with man you'd slept with before.
the heat of his hands resting on your hips sends shivers up and down your spine, unconsciously arching towards him as his tongue pushes into your mouth.
one gentle hand travels carefully up beneath your shirt, tracing the skin of your stomach before stopping at your breast, your heartbeat racing beneath his palm.
your breath is hot on his cheek as you readjust your position, slipping your knees onto either side of his hips and sinking down to straddle his lap. your clothed cunt throbs as he presses his bulge against the inside of your thigh, and you don't hold back the open-mouthed moan that escapes you as his other hand quickly reaches up to angle your jaw and guide your lips back to his.
you push your hips down a little harder on him and his nails dig into your breast. his grip tightens a little as his hips cant up against you, desperate for more pressure against his strained cock.
your eyelids flutter as his other hand tilts your chin upwards, finally breaking away from your mouth only to reattach his lips at the base of your jaw. his tongue laves over your skin before he starts to suck, and you shiver when he pulls back and cold air hits the wet patch of spit on your neck.
you have to focus hard not to drool when you open your eyes and catch a glimpse of his face, lust-glazed eyes staring up at you through his long, thick lashes, his intense gaze fixed on you.
if you ever get past this weird in-between stage of talking but not talking, maybe you'll tell him how jealous you are of his beautiful, natural eyelashes. if you ever actually get to have a conversation with him outside of calling to hook up, maybe you'll tell him how nice his lips are. you'll tell him how soft his hands are and how he's by far the best person you've ever slept with, leaps and bounds better than all the rest, and—
before you fully realize what's happening, you feel your shirt being pulled over your head and hansol's lips have made their way down to your chest. without a sound his hands roam your body, fingers drawing invisible lines over your bare skin and leaving trails of goosebumps with every touch.
he doesn't talk much during sex, or maybe you just don't know each other well enough yet for him to have much to say. aside from the way he occasionally murmurs about how perfect you are — an oddly intimate thing to say to someone who's just a friend with benefits, but coming from him it sounds so casual — the only words you ever get out of him are curses and whimpered pleas.
the only words he ever gets out of you are shamelessly begging him, please kiss me again, please, hansol; and you're always too far gone to care about how whiny you sound, because you need his lips on you so fucking bad you think you might just die without them. but he always obliges, quickening the speed of his thrusts and wrapping his arms around you tighter so he can kiss you deeper, until your lips are numb and you can still feel the weight of him holding you even hours after he's gone.
so maybe you do have a teeny tiny crush on hansol. anyone in their right mind would, and when he's finished with you tonight you're sure you won't have much mind left to even think about it. certainly this is a problem for another day, a day when you'll inevitably call him again so he can make you lose your mind all over again and you won't have to think about how much you like him, and you'll continue like that for who knows how long.
maybe he'll get bored of you, or find someone else, or move to another city too far for you to justify travelling for a relationship that isn't even a relationship…
… but then he lets out a little groan and you fall back into reality, the reality where you've been making out with him for the past half hour and he quietly but confidently lets you know if he doesn't get his dick out soon he's definitely going to cum in his pants and not only will it make him look like a loser but he also won't get to fuck you, which is the whole reason you asked him to meet up tonight, right?
well, yeah, you guess, but a part of you knows there's more to it than that. but that's not really a conversation for right now.
you lean down to press another chaste kiss against those lips that you can't stop thinking about, and your fingers pull his t-shirt over his head before finding their way down to the button at the top of his jeans.
you've had his cock inside you more times than you think you deserve, but still your stomach bubbles with excitement as he lifts his hips and shimmies out of his pants, the outline against his briefs more than enough to make your mouth water before he slips those off, too.
for tonight, you're the recipient of his undivided attention. you alone get to have him and his perfect cock all to yourself; maybe not forever, but for right now, and that's all you really need.
he presses his hand against his bulge, eyes squeezed shut in pleasure as you stand up from his lap to kick off your pants and underwear.
you must have been taking too long for his liking, though, because as soon as you're fully nude his hands tug impatiently at your waist and pull you back down onto him.
he lets out a heavy sigh, the head of his cock pressed deliciously against your clit as you start to rock your hips back and forth.
but before long his hands bring you to a stop and he lets out his usual string of pleas to let him fuck you, and now it's your turn to sigh in relief as he pushes into you, the stretch so natural like he was the only one who was made to sit you on his lap.
he doesn't move right away. he never moves right away, whether to give you a chance to adjust or maybe because he himself can't handle the feeling. either way, you always struggle to take in a shaky breath as your walls flutter around him, perfectly thick and long that you could probably cum untouched like this if you sat there for long enough.
but as badly as you want to never move and let him cockwarm you for hours, he always eventually moves.
he starts out slow, just a few inches at a time, a gentle in and out that's almost romantic until you feel like you can breathe normally again— right before he knocks the breath out of you, increasing his pace until the room is filled with the loud sounds of skin against skin.
he always fucks you like it's been months since he's came, even though you know for a fact it was last thursday and all over your stomach. all you can do now is hang onto his broad shoulders for dear life, nails scratching helplessly at his muscles as he carries you up and over the edge, pushing you into the first of many orgasms tonight.
sometimes he'll make a comment about how wet you get when he fucks you like this, rough and fast as he pounds into you like there's no tomorrow. and that's when you'll agree, yes you love it so much, yes he's so good, yes you need more and please, please keep going.
if it were anyone else they'd probably smirk at that, satisfied with the momentary boost to their ego. but that's what you love about hansol, is that he's not anyone else: he'll take those words and use them to somehow fuck you even rougher and even faster, so rough and so fast that sometimes tears will start to roll down your cheeks, and that's usually about when you start begging him to kiss you.
you can't help it. the way he bounces you so effortlessly on his cock, his lips parted and beads of sweat trickling down his neck, you need him bad. you want to be closer to him, closer than you know is physically possible but damn if you won't try anyway.
throwing your hands around his neck and falling against his chest, tears still streaming from your eyes as you plead with him, repeating his name over and over and over like you've lost your mind and he's the only thing left. in all honestly, maybe he is.
he quietly shushes you and tilts his chin up to capture your lips in the kiss you so badly crave, and it's everything you need and more and somehow still not enough but you can't think straight anymore when his cock is hitting you just right and his mouth is also just right and each vein, each curve, each ridge, drags perfectly along your walls and he's splitting you open and goddamn you are ruined for anybody else.
you feel like you're skirting in and out of consciousness when you cum again, squeezing around his cock so tight that even his powerful thrusts can't continue at their current pace.
it isn't long before he lets go too, holding you flush against his body as he fills you up, painting your insides white with a breathy moan, and in a weird way it makes you feel kind of proud.
you both sit there for a moment, panting as you start to come down.
without even standing up you already know your legs are jell-o, but you don't really have time to think about that as hansol lifts you off his lap and sets you carefully on the couch, leaving you with another kiss before he stands up and disappears down the hall, returning seconds later with a towel that looks suspiciously new.
you'd asked him about his bathroom towels last time you'd been over at his place. a mismatched collection of white and brown and aquamarine that he'd taken with him when he'd moved out of his parent's house, he said, he'd never really had a reason to buy a set of his own.
the grey cloth in his hand now that he uses to gently wipe between your legs is one you don't remember seeing.
he finishes and you want him to kiss you again, but you're too shy to ask now so he leaves you again with just a kind smile this time.
you've put most of your wrinkled clothes back on by the time he comes back. he offers to drive you home every time afterwards, but you always insisted you were fine, already feeling like you'd overstayed your welcome.
this time he doesn't offer, though, just quietly sits down next to you to pull on his own clothes until you're both fully dressed.
he speaks before the awkward silence has time to set in.
"have you been seeing anybody else?" he asks, and it's probably the longest sentence he's spoken to you outside of when he's fucking you.
it takes you a couple seconds to say no. god, you sound like a loser, but you couldn't lie to him. since the very first time with hansol the thought of seeing anyone besides him hadn't even crossed your mind. just like you thought; ruined.
it takes him a couple seconds to reply, too.
"good," he says, and you could almost swear his cheeks are pinker than usual as he admits that he hasn't been with anyone, either. "could we keep it that way?"
your breath catches a little. "yeah?"
"yeah," he answers. "whatever… this is, i like it. and i like you."
and just like that, things make sense.
"maybe, would you, y'know, wanna stay this time?" he asks, and you can't hide the grin on your face as you lean over and kiss him again, your answer evident in the way your hand falls against his warm chest and your fingers weave gently through his hair.
everything is so simple with hansol.
i hope you enjoyed this!! if you did, consider reblogging or leaving a comment or an ask :) it shows me this is something people want to see more of, and knowing people like this makes me want to write more of it! thanks for reading!!

Bakugo wants sex, but doesn’t know how to ask
You’re fresh out the shower, too lazy to put on anything else so you throw on one of your boyfriend’s shirt that still lingered his scent you loved so much with nothing under and a bit of lotion on your arms.
Absolutely too weak to do your legs you plop on your side of your bed and sigh inching towards your Blondie that decided to spend the night in your dorm.
“Who would’ve thought a lecture would be exhausting. Ugh. Can’t wait to graduate from this damn uni.” You grumbled to yourself tracing against the scars of his biceps, smirking everytime he subconsciously flexes them.
Bakugo just grumbles, mindlessly playing on your gaming console and eyes fixated on the TV he actually wasn’t even paying attention, his mind was on auto pilot and you were the reason:
He’s horny.
All damn week he’s been trying ways to figure out how he can just….
Simply put: Fuck you.
Bakugo never actually initiated sex. You both only have done it 3 times and each time you’ve been the one to start it off. Whether he wants to admit it or not he’s a pussy when it comes to intimacy sometimes. But that doesn’t surpress his needs.
Last time you both had a moment of restless touching was a month ago and it was reasonable since you both been busy with classes and internships, but now that spring break is around the corner and your schedules have began to sync again he almost forgot how fine of a girl he had as a girlfriend.
“Can you lotion my legs oh sweet, strong and great Dynamight?”
He flinched, your words laced with honey even though you were just half joking as you threw your thigh over his bare legs, the contrast from his toned muscle thighs vs your thicker softer ones made him look down, but still not missing how your ass jiggled a little under his top.
“Whatever.” He snatched the bottle from you shaking it and rubbing it against his hands to half assly rub it on your calves.
“Uh helloooo I have a whole leg to prevent being ashy.” Wiggling your thighs against made him huff, are you doing it on purpose? Do you know how badly he wants to lay you on your back and stuff his head between your thighs right now?
His palms began to warm as they slid their way up and down , it was borderline a massage at this point and you wasn’t complaining since he did have a way with his hands.
And fingers.
You noticed his ministrations slowing down, thinking he wanted you to roll on your back to get the other leg he instead kept rubbing extremely close to the bottom of your ass.
“Y’know, you can touch it.” Catching his eye he stopped moving his hand, “You’re always free to touch me whenever….or wherever .”
He lips parted, almost like he wanted to speak, but instead pulled you closer to him to kiss the corner of your lips, it was so soft you nearly couldn’t feel him until he whispered in your ear, “….Are you sure.”
“Of course.” You nod, rubbing your hand on his arm as reassurance “my body….your choice.”
Bakugo’s eyebrows creased, confused why’d you even say that, “No it’s still your choice and rules, dumbass. You’re too trusting.”
“I’m only too trusting for you…” pecking his pouted lips you reposition yourself to allow your big Blondie to hover over you, “I trust you with my life…and my body. It’s all yours.”
Blood filled his ears and cheeks as well as his dick. Something about your trust in him drove him absolutely insane. His body moved before he could respond back latching onto your lips, adjusting his way in between your legs.
You trapped him inside earning a groan out of him when his body weight fell on top of you, “I could’ve crushed you.”
“So?” You tease. You damn tease. That fucking look in your eye gets him everytime when you get like this, wanting him almost as much as he wants you.
It didn’t take long until your laughs and jokes turned into cries and moans of his name.
It was probably one of the most intoxicating nights filled with taboo touches and loves bites everywhere. His hands captured yours when he let you on top, his eyes not tearing from yours, The way his mouth never left an inch away from your body, he actually felt way more needier than usual.
Surely everybody will question and tease you both in tomorrow’s lecture, but it was worth it.
Bakugo now had a new level of confidence when it came to asking you for sex.

I Want It All - Taglist/preview
Pairings:: Yandere! Choso x fem reader
Summary: Choso needs you, no he really needs you, you are everything to him and don't even know it. You don't know about the cameras he watches you on, you don't know he's jerking his cock in his office right across from you. You see a sweet, hot coworker, sort of shy, but Choso sees all of you, and when you invite him over randomly to 'hang out' Choso knows then it's his chance, to have you forever.
Warnings: Um ALOT- lol yandere behavior, obsessed ass Choso, cameras reader doesn't know about, videoing without consent, using his tongue ring as manipulation lol, explicit sex, oral (f receiving) possessive, psycho behavior, and lots more to come when it's released aha. Basically completely MDNI and NSFW- also will have mental manipulation etc.- in this preview- masturbation and spying like a freak lol
It's FINALLY getting written hehe, this is going to be a longer oneshot- based on Yandere Bestie Choso - art in the banner from 28 on X here - dividers by @cafekitsune and @strangergraphics
It's HERE
You finally do sit down, and he eyes your panties from the camera he has strategically placed, seeing that they’re purple today, making his cock throb as he sits in his office, he goes to shut the door then, staring at the image on his phone, watching you shift this way and that. Today the lace is clinging so tightly to your puffy lips he can see the outline of your perfect cunt.
“Oh my god…” He murmurs softly, if only you were his assistant, he’d have you bent over his desk right now, but for the moment he strokes his cock over his slacks, as you cross your legs, deterring his view. “Open them for me, baby, please…”
As if on command you do just that, lean back and spread your thighs, god he can’t stand how good you look, he eyes you out of one of his office windows as you smile over at him, waving so pretty. Clueless that he’s stroking his now leaky tip against his thumb, while he smiles back over to you, eyes torn between your pretty face and the upskirt view he has.
Choso’s cock springs free as he strokes himself under the desk, whimpering softly as he pictures it inside you, this is his daily routine though, stroking himself, over and over, he does so at least every day if not multiple times, using the precum and his own saliva as lube to stroke his thick cock faster. He bets you’re so tight, he bets you taste as good as you smell.
He’s leaned back, closing his eyes and murmuring your name when he hears a knock knock knock then, but he’s already cumming. “Shit, shit, shit…” He’s trying to hide his whine as he pours hot sticky ropes into his hand. “Hold on a minute!”
“Sure thing, Choso.” It’s you.
Fuck.
Choso hastily cleans himself up the best he can, tissues swiping at the sticky mess his cock has become, some of it is sticking to his black boxer briefs when he pulls himself together, opening his door. You’re smiling up at him, and he wonders if he should feel bad you don’t know he sees your panties every day, but he brushes it off, because it’s not like he can help himself.
It takes everything not to drag you in as you just stand there curiously. “Can I help you with anything?”
“Oh, I’m sorry.” You’re flushed as you look down a bit, biting that lower lip that makes him think insane thoughts. “I wondered… would you like to come over?”
“Come over!?” He’s got his eyes wide now, and you feel your cheeks heat up more, shifting nervously.
“Is that too much? Is it weird?”
“What no I… you… huh?” Choso sputters now, imagining every way he wants you, god your lips probably would feel so good wrapped around his tip, wouldn’t they? Cleaning his cum off himself-
“Sorry, it’s stupid. Ugh. We just are so close here but we never hang out? And I have no friends here, just a cat I think.” You’re babbling, as he’s staring at you like you’ve grown another head.
You’ve wanted to ask him out for so long, surprised he never made a move, maybe you’re not his type? But curiosity gets the best of you, just who is he when he’s not so shy, when he’s not all in his business mode. Those glimpses of tattoos on his arms when he rolls his sleeves up are too enticing.
“A date?” He whispers, and you giggle then.
“It doesn’t have to be. Or it could be.”
“I’ll be there, I’ll… bring wine?” He grins as you brighten up.
“I love wine!”
Oh, he knows.
He knows the brands you like, the type you enjoy, he knows so much about you already, he’s seen the outside of your home almost every night after work, just to make sure you get home safe of course. You live alone and you’re just a sweet, fragile thing, there are too many crazy men out there. Once he watches you, he leaves of course!
But he does notice you enjoy a glass of wine, you leave your window wide open when it’s nice out, petting your cat and sipping on it, reading some book. God you look so pretty when you think no one is watching, when your shoulders relax just so, in those moments his thoughts are far more pure, not like when he has to be tortured by the obscene amount of panties you have.
“I’d love to come over. Do you want me to bring dinner?” He’s trying to sound calm, not like he just noticed with horror he has some cum sticking to his pant leg then, which you seem to notice, tilting your head.
“I think you’ve got something…” You bend down, brushing it off, making his cock jerk as you look at the sticky substance curiously, blinking while he panics.
“Oh it’s just… it’s some… the glaze, from the donuts!” He’s taking your hand now, and you’re already just licking it off your thumb.
You just licked Choso’s cum.
Fuck.
“You got donuts? Weird you got me bagels this morning. Silly.” You tease now, brushing your thumb back across your skirt, smiling up at him again.
“I uh… raided the… office cafeteria.”
“You have such a sweet tooth!”
You have no idea. Once he tastes you he will never stop.
He doesn’t think he’ll even let you leave,
“I do, okay I’ll bring dessert, you do dinner?” You nod and giggle just a bit, the sound making his heart clench.
“Perfect, I’ll see you after work and give you my address.”
As if he doesn’t know.
“Sounds good.” You shut the door, and he leans his head on it, exhaling, as you curiously roll your tongue around your mouth.
What kind of donuts taste like that?
LMAOOO I hope ya'll enjoyed the preview, this will be out very soon as it's almost done!

You hear the front door click shut and glance up from your spot on the couch—just in time to see Jay walk in, shirt clinging to him like a second skin, jaw tight, chest heaving slightly from the workout.
His tank top is soaked, revealing every line of his toned arms and shoulders. His hair is damp, sticking to his forehead, and he casually wipes sweat from his neck with a towel slung over one shoulder.
You can’t help it—your thighs press together instinctively.
Jay catches your stare as he drops his gym bag by the door. “Hey.”
You swallow. “Hi.”
He pauses, brows lifting slightly as his eyes trail down your body. “You good?” You nod—maybe too fast. “Just… yeah. Just watching you walk in like that.”
He smirks, slowly pulling the towel from his neck. “Like what?”
“You know what.”
Jay drops the towel on the kitchen counter and walks toward you slowly, his eyes narrowing with that familiar flicker of amusement and something darker. “You’ve been home all day and this is what gets you going?”
You lick your lips as he towers over you, muscles still twitching slightly from exertion, his skin glistening.
“It’s the arms,” you admit breathlessly. “And the sweat. And the attitude.”
Jay laughs under his breath. “You’re shameless.”
And then he’s grabbing your face with one hand, tilting your chin up to look at him. His thumb brushes your lower lip.
“But you’re mine. So if you’re gonna get turned on from just looking at me… then I guess I’ve got a responsibility.”
He doesn’t give you a second to respond—just hauls you up from the couch and lifts you onto the kitchen counter like you weigh nothing. The cold surface makes you gasp, but Jay steps between your legs, spreading them wider with his knee.
“You’re already wet for me, aren’t you?” he mutters, pressing a hand between your thighs over your shorts. He feels the heat there and groans low. “Fuck. You are.”
He tugs your shorts down and off in one swift move, dragging his fingers through your folds, teasing but not giving in yet.
“You want me to fuck you like this?” he asks, voice rough. “Still sweaty, muscles sore, still in my gym clothes?”
You nod, eyes glazed. “Please.”
“Oh, baby,” he murmurs, slipping a finger into you slowly. “You don’t beg unless you’re ready.”
And then he drops to his knees, mouth replacing his fingers, his tongue working you open with slow, dirty precision.
He eats like he’s starving, like you’re the only reward after a brutal workout. Your hands clutch at the edge of the counter, gasping his name over and over as your orgasm builds fast and hard.
But he pulls back just before you break.
Your protest dies in your throat when he smacks the side of your thighs— a yelp leaving your parted lips.
“You’ll come when I say, not before.”
His eyes drop to where you're already glistening, swollen and needy. He doesn’t move just yet—he just watches you for a second, taking in the mess that lies in front of him.
And then?
He lowers his head back down, tongue flat and slow as he licks one long stripe up your center.
Your breath catches—sharp and involuntary. His lips curl into a grin against you before he dives in completely, arms hooking around your thighs to keep you right where he wants you.
Your hands instinctively reached to tangle your fingers in his hair— damp from working out. The tug from your fingers causes Jay to let out a moan. The vibrations hitting against your pussy.
Jay eats like a man on a mission—focused, filthy, and completely in control. His tongue circles your clit with maddening precision, the kind that makes your hips jerk forward instinctively.
But he holds you still.
“Uh-uh,” he murmurs against your cunt, voice muffled but commanding. “Let me taste you properly.”
He sucks your clit between his lips and flicks it with the tip of his tongue, and your back arches off the counter. The sounds leaving your mouth aren’t even words anymore, just whimpers, gasps, desperate cries for more.
“F-fuck, Jay. Oh fuck, please.”
And just when you feel your climax start to build—tight and sharp in your belly, Jay pulls back with a wet sound, lips and chin slick with you.
You nearly sob.
“Not yet,” he growls, standing and grabbing you by the waist. “You don’t come without my say.”
He flips you over with ease, your cheek pressed against the cool countertop as he yanks your hips back into him. You hear the rustle of his gym sweats, the low hiss of his breath as he fists his cock behind you.
“You wanted this, huh?” Jay asks through teeth.
Then the head of it’s sliding through your folds—teasing, nudging, just enough to make your legs tremble.
“Say you need it.”
“I—fuck, I need it, Jay—please.”
That’s all he needs.
You feel the thick press of his cock against your entrance as he slides in slowly, stretching you so good your eyes flutter. Jay groans—deep and raw as he bottoms out, his hands gripping your hips like he needs them to stay grounded.
And then he moves—powerful thrusts that hit deep, the wet sound of skin slapping filling the room, your moans echoing off the walls.
Every drag, every grind, every slap of his hips is controlled, steady, meant to wreck you slowly.
“You wanted this,” he growls in your ear, one hand wrapping around your throat as he keeps thrusting. “You started it. So you better fucking take it.”
And you do.
He fucks you, never slowing down, never letting go of that dominant hold on your body and mind. Even when your legs shake and your voice breaks, he’s right there—whispering praise, fucking you deeper, keeping you right where he wants you.
“M-mmh! M-more— fuck, give me more,” you beg through your gasps. Jay scoffs, pulling you even closer to his pelvis. “More? Is this enough?” He asks, demanding for an answer as he thrusts deeply. “Hm?”
You nodded, biting down on your bottom lip.
“Words.”
“Yes, fuck, yes, Jay, please!”
“You’re already shaking?” he says, smirking, one thumb brushing up your inner thigh. “And I haven’t even started.”
He pushes in with a deep, punishing thrust that knocks the breath out of your lungs. One hand grips your hip tight, the other snaking around your waist to anchor you in place. He sets a brutal rhythm from the start—hard, deep strokes that make your body jolt forward with every thrust.
“You’re so tight like this,” he groans, leaning over your back, sweat from his chest slicking your spine. “So wet—you did this. You wanted this the second you saw me walk in.”
You nod, eyes squeezing shut, lips parted as moans spill out freely.
“Say it.”
“I did—fuck, I wanted it so bad. Wanted you—needed you—”
“That’s right,” he growls, grabbing a fistful of your hair and pulling your head back gently. “So you take every inch. No running. No tapping out. You made this mess.”
Your second orgasm builds fast—pressure curling low and hot, each thrust angled perfectly to send sparks shooting up your spine.
You cry out, nearly breaking. “J-Jay.”
Jay feels it in the way you clench around him, and he slows down—just slightly, just enough to make you scream in frustration.
“Hold it.”
“I can’t—”
“You can. I said hold it.”
He slides his hand between your thighs again, two fingers rubbing tight circles against your clit while he keeps thrusting. Your body’s on fire now, legs shaking uncontrollably, jaw slack.
“God, you feeling so fucking good, baby,” Jay moaned, the sounding going straight to your pussy, making you clench around him.
Then—finally with a groan,
“Cum for me.”
The second he says it, your orgasm crashes into you like a fucking tidal wave. You scream his name, your walls fluttering around his cock, your whole body shaking with release.
“Gonna cum in you— f-fuck!” Jay gasps, gripping around your thighs tightly.
Jay groans loud and deep, fucking you through every spasm until he spills inside you, thick and hot, hips pressed flush against your ass with a broken groan of your name, he doesn’t pull out. He leans over, lips at your ear.
Then he leans down, presses a kiss to your spine, and whispers, “Still turned on by the arms?”
You laugh—breathless, wrecked, and completely his. “So much worse now.”

You and Carter didn’t fight, it just didn’t happen.
Like any sisters, you got on each other’s nerves, you disagreed on things, you borrowed each other’s clothes without asking - but you didn’t fight.
Growing up, your parents fought all the time. You and Carter would sit in her bedroom and listen to music, talking and laughing and pretending not to hear. Ever since then, you had a silent agreement; you didn’t fight and you never raised your voices at each other.
The problem with this system was that you were never quite sure when she was upset with you. Your stomach churned the whole rest of your shower, as she stood uncharacteristically quiet at the bathroom sink and did her makeup.
Maybe she hadn’t heard you, or maybe she had just hated your words so much that she couldn’t even respond to them. You knew she wouldn’t like it when you admitted that you’d be with Rafe if he asked you, but pretending it had never been said seemed particularly childish.
A little while later, you sat on a stool in front of the bathroom mirror as she did your hair and makeup. You found your eyes continually drifting up to her, searching for any sign of anger. When a full half-an-hour passed and she still hadn’t responded to your comments about Rafe, you broke down and asked, “are you mad at me?”
“For what?” She scrunched her eyebrows.
“For what I said in the shower,” you wrung your hands in your lap, not sure you wanted the answer.
“Bitch, you know I have the short term memory of an ant, you’re gonna have to give me more to work with.”
You laughed at her bluntness, the lightheartedness of her words relaxing you enough to face your fear.
“What I said about Rafe,” you said. “That I’d be with him if he asked me to.”
She paused her work on your hair, setting the brush down and meeting your eyes in the mirror.
“When did you say that?” She twisted her lips.
“When you came back in, while I was in the shower.”
She shook her head, “must’ve been talking to someone else because I’ve definitely never heard you say that. I feel like I would’ve remembered something so insane.”
You looked down at your hands in your lap, playing the whole thing back in your mind. You had definitely heard someone come in, the door squeaking at their arrival. That means someone else in the house was walking around with your deepest secret. And now Carter knew it too.
“Oh,” you said. “Never mind then.”
“Yeah right, you really think I’m just gonna move on from that?” Carter put her hands on her hips.
“We could just pretend I never said anything,” you shrugged.
“Yes you know me,” Carter rolled her eyes, “I’m famous for letting things go and being super chill when I hear someone say something batshit crazy.”
You sighed, “okay fine, but what you didn’t hear was me following the statement up by saying I know I shouldn’t be with him ‘cause I’d probably hate myself the whole time.”
Carter started working on your hair again, her contorted face betraying her attempt to act casual.
“Please just say whatever you’re thinking,” you urged her.
“I don’t want to tell you what to do,” she replied.
You snorted, “since when?”
“I just, like, ugh,” she dropped her head back in frustration. “Why him? Like I’ve never understood. What is it about him?”
“I don’t know,” you said honestly. “I’ve never really known. He’s just…”
“Arrogant, selfish, a bully…” she finished your sentence for you.
“Stop,” you laughed, shaking your head.
“Just be careful, okay?” She placed her hands on your shoulders, meeting your eye in the mirror. “I don’t want to see you get hurt again.”
“I know,” you nodded. “I will be.”
“If Rafe Cameron has zero haters then I am dead,” she concluded.
“I know that too,” you smiled.
Carter leaned past you to collect a couple bobby pins from the bathroom sink, her shirt slipping slightly off her shoulder and revealing a patch of deep purple marks.
“Oh my god,” you squealed. “Are those hickies?!”
She dragged her shirt back over her shoulder defensively.
“No! I fell!”
“Uh-huh, right onto Topper’s mouth apparently!” You poked her side, teasing her.
“Shut up,” she smiled and you cackled.
After that, the Rafe conversation was dropped as you pressed Carter for more details on her hook up with Topper. She tried to play cool, but you could tell there was something more going on under the surface that she didn’t want to say. You decided to be patient, if she was going to finally come to terms with her feelings for him, she was going to do it all on her own.
When she was finally done with your hair and makeup, you inspected yourself in the mirror.
“Baddie,” she winked at you.
You blushed, “alright let’s go, the boys are probably waiting.”
Carter stood back and crossed her arms, giving you an incredulous look.
“What?” You questioned.
“You’re not wearing that.”
You looked down at your outfit, a crop top, black jeans, and boots. You thought it was a perfectly acceptable clubbing outfit, but Carter clearly disagreed.
“Why not?”
“We’re going out to, like, clubs. In downtown Miami. You gotta stunt on ‘em a little bit,” she argued.
“I am! Look how tight these jeans are,” you did a spin to display your point.
“Good thing I brought the perfect dress in your size for just such an occasion,” she ignored you.
“Oh okay so this was a premeditated makeover?” You smiled.
She ran down the hall to her room and returned with a lacy, red minidress. Knowing you’d lose any argument you posed, you changed into it reluctantly. The corset top hugged your waist, pushing your chest up. Your shoulders slumped instinctually, like you could hide away in yourself. You’d come a long way on your self-love journey, but your self-doubt still crept in from time to time.
As per usual, Carter sensed it right away.
“Shoulders back, head up,” Carter reminded you. “Let ‘em know.”
You took a deep breath, nodding in the mirror, choosing to leave your insecurities behind. You’d borrow her faith in you for just one night.
As Carter, Maddie and Sabrina did their final touch ups and compared outfits, you pulled on your heels and headed downstairs. The other girls didn’t seem concerned with punctuality, but you were sure Topper was probably freaking out about how long they were taking.
It wasn’t Topper you found in the kitchen, though.
Rafe stood at the sink with his back to you, his black button up pulled taught over his defined back muscles as he stared off into space and the cup in his hand overflowed.
You smiled, holding your shoulders back as Carter had taught you, bracing for him to see you in this dress.
“Thirsty?”
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄
He felt his resolve break with the rest of his brain, dizzy and drowning in the sight of you. He had the ridiculous urge to shield his eyes, like he was hiding them from the sun, your beauty too overwhelming to gaze directly at.
He set the glass down on the counter, drying his hands with a nearby towel, never once breaking eye contact with you.
Licking his lips quickly, he shamelessly let his eyes drag over your bare legs and up your body, knowing full well you could see him take in every inch of you. He didn’t care, he needed you to understand what you were doing to him.
When his eyes finally landed on yours, he clenched his jaw tight, nostrils flaring with his rising pulse. He tilted his head to the side, narrowing his eyes, telling you silently: you’re killing me.
“You like it?” You whispered, running your hands over the lacy fabric.
Rafe opened his mouth to answer, planning something along the lines of “do I like it? Are you fucking kidding me?” but before he could, the rest of the girls came clamorring down the stairs behind you, stealing the moment.
At the sound of clicking heels and giggles, the rest of the boys came filing into the room.
Rafe gave you one more longing look before handing Kelce the glass of water. Kelce tried to protest, but Rafe shoved it in his hands anyway.
“We’re not leaving ‘til you drink it,” Rafe scolded him.
“Taking over Topper’s mom duties?” Maddie laughed at the exchange.
“No, Rafe’s much more dad vibes,” Carter countered.
“Yes and mom and dad will be pissed if our Ubers leave, so let’s go children,” Topper herded the group toward the front door.
Rafe took the now empty glass from Kelce and left it in the sink, and you lingered back for a second, pretending to fix your shoe so you’d both end up at the back of the pack. He watched as you bent down and fiddled with the slingback, hovering close when you stood.
“Nice dress,” he mumbled down to you.
“You think so?” You twisted your lips to keep from beaming at him, trying to maintain some semblance of nonchalance.
“There’s not much of it,” he teased, scratching the back of his head as he looked down over the lacy fabric. “But yeah, it’s nice.”
“You gonna give me the ‘you’re not leaving the house in that, young lady’ treatment?” You pressed him. “You really are like the dad.”
“Why? Would you change if I told you to?” He asked skeptically.
“Not a fucking chance,” you scoffed, swinging your hips as you spun and made for the front door.
He was really planning on staying away from you? What a fucking joke. He followed you out of the house like you had him on a leash. He was in for a long night.
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄
It took all of five minutes for Carter to grab Topper’s hand and pull him to the corner of the club, and it took even less time for their close talking to become a full on makeout.
You smirked at them as you ordered another drink, knowing you’d need something to help you get through this evening if Carter wasn’t going to be by your side. You could feel Tom’s eyes on you as he approached from the other side of the bar.
The whole Uber here, Tom had been eyeing you in the rear view mirror from the front seat. The only stare that made you more uncomfortable was Sabrina’s. It couldn’t be more clear that she’d grown attached to him on their jet ski ride, laughing loud at his unfunny jokes and hovering in his vicinity all night. You had unwittingly fallen into a love triangle you wanted nothing to do with.
You could feel his attempt to hit on you before he even spoke.
“Put her drink on my tab,” Tom told the bartender.
“Oh, you don’t need to do that,” you said, not wanting to give him any openings.
“Not a problem,” he said. “I know I’ve been kind of a jerk today, the least I can do is buy you a drink to say sorry.”
The bartender handed you the glass, and you immediately took a sip, fiddling with the straw uncomfortably.
“Sorry for what?” You feigned ignorance.
“Last night, I didn’t mean to make you feel weird,” he said, stepping closer to you. He clearly couldn’t see the irony that he was apologizing for making you feel weird while actively making you feel weird. “I just think you’re really cool and I wanted to get to know you better.”
He was crowding your space now, the scent of his heavy cologne choking your senses. Just a few days ago, you found the same smell enticing, but now, there was only one person you wanted standing this close.
Your eyes flicked over Tom’s shoulder, scanning the crowd for him. You found him leaning against the wall, Kelce talking to him emphatically about something you couldn’t hear. You didn’t have to get his attention, his eyes were already on you. Tight lipped smile, you flicked your eyes between him and Tom, trying to communicate your need for his assistance.
Rafe didn’t need anything more to understand what you were asking, tuned in to your every move and sensing your need for him before you even caught his eye. He pushed off the wall and left Kelce talking to no one so he could shove his way through the crowd. Taller than almost everyone, you tracked him the whole way through the sea of people. Tom seemed none the wiser, continuing hitting on you.
“Maybe we could get out of here,” Tom suggested, leaning in a little too close so you could hear him over the music.
“Nah, not tonight bro.”
Rafe appeared by your side just in time, forcing Tom to take a step back as he draped his arm over your shoulders possessively. Tom’s eyes flew between the two of you as you reached up to the hand on your shoulder and threaded your fingers with Rafe’s. Relief swelled through your body as Tom stepped back. You leaned into Rafe’s hold more, wrapping your arm around his waist and giving him a grateful squeeze. You knew he felt it when you saw his mouth perk up at the corners. But he didn’t take his eyes off Tom, his work here unfinished.
“Since when are you two together?” Tom puzzled defensively.
“Look man, why don’t you go find, uh, Sabrina,” Rafe waved him off. “Or literally any other girl here.”
As if Rafe’s suggestion had summoned her, Sabrina appeared at Tom’s side.
“Oh my god,” she slurred, eyes red and glossy with intoxication. “Are y’all a thing now? Girl, I never thought you’d actually do it. Good for you!”
It had the cadence of women supporting women, but the undertone was clear. You didn’t miss the disbelief in her tone, subtly trying to cut you down while appearing to lift you up. If Carter was here, she’d bitch her out. But you didn’t need saving from this one.
You tightened your hold on Rafe’s hand, swinging his arm from around your shoulders but not letting go. You pulled him away from Tom and Sabrina, leading him deep into the crowd on the dancefloor.
Before he had the chance to ask what you were doing, you placed his hands on your waist, spinning in his grasp until your back was flush with his chest and moving to the music. He made no protest, squeezing you between his hands and swaying along with you. Tom and Sabrina watched from across the room, his jaw clenched and her arms crossed.
After a few minutes, both sets of eyes eventually left you, but you didn’t notice, and you didn’t stop. It wasn’t for show anymore. You closed your eyes as you continued to let the music move you. Rafe’s strong arms on either side of you, your brain flashed images of his half naked body in the kitchen and how he kneeled in front of you in the basement. The same fingertips that had so gently caressed your calf were now burrowing into the soft flesh of your hips. One of your arms stretched up, your palm finding the back of his neck, kneading his skin as you clung to him.
When you looked up to meet his eyes, they were ablaze with pure lust. Your lips parted to tell him you felt it too, but you couldn’t bring yourself to say it. Instead you showed him, your body moving through the music like water. The bass pumped through your chest, tangling with your thumping heart beat until you couldn’t tell which was which.
Rafe held you tight against him, like if he let you go you might slip under the waves again. His head sank low, until the tip of his nose was grazing just over the curve of your neck. He was hardly moving, not so much dancing as swaying, letting you do the work his eyes drank in every inch of your body.
With a precise roll of your hips, you pushed against him, and you nearly gasped at the feeling of something hard and demanding pressing into your hip. Your lips twisted with the sweetest satisfaction.
“Thought you were trying to be a gentleman,” you said over the music.
“I was,” he brought his lips to your ear so you could hear him. “But you’re making it too fucking hard.”
Smirking, you twisted in his arms until you were facing each other. You both caught the accidental euphemism and met eyes, breaking into matching laughter.
“You know what I mean,” he rolled his eyes.
“I don’t think I do,” you teased with a quirked eyebrow. “Enlighten me.”
His smile fell, as did his hands, lowering from your waist to your hips. You reached both arms up, wrapping around his neck and lacing your fingers behind him.
His eyes swept over your face as he whispered, “you look so-”
“Cute?”
You meant it in jest, but he didn’t laugh. His eyes darkened and his jaw clenched as he took you in, serious as hell when he said,
“So fucking beautiful.”
You shuddered in his arms, and he ran his hand down your exposed back, tracing his fingers delicately over your spine.
“Been driving me crazy since I saw you on the beach,” he continued.
His hand kept falling lower, though it slowed as it reached your lower back, asking for permission with his hesitancy. Your body arched into him without even thinking about it. His palm glided over your ass, the soft fabric of your dress and your plush flesh beneath it pulling an involuntary groan from him. He went lower still, slotting his fingers in the crease where your ass meets your thigh, lingering, setting up camp like he’d stay there all night if you let him. He found the spot so deliberately that you knew he’d been thinking about it for days.
You waited with baited breath, your silence inviting him to keep talking.
All he said next was your name. It was low and needy, like a request, or maybe a warning. Flames erupted in your stomach and sent a hot blush sweeping across your body.
“Do you…” your throat tightened with vulnerability, “do you want to go somewhere?”
Yes, Rafe thought, anywhere, for any amount of time.
But there was a small voice in the back of his head giving him pause. Your voice, earlier today in the shower, when you thought you were talking to someone else.
“I don’t want you to hate yourself,” he shook his head, sad eyes falling from your face to his shoes.
You tilted your head as you examined him, unsure for a moment what he meant. Then it clicked, realizing those were your words on his lips. He was the one who heard you in the bathroom. You fought the temptation to run away in embarrassment when you remembered what else he must’ve heard.
After all you’d admitted to, the piece he was clearly holding onto was the only part you didn’t actually mean. You had added the detail about hating yourself when you thought you were talking to Carter and that she was upset with you.
It was too much to explain to him there on the crowded dance floor. You slipped your hand into his and pulled him from the crowd, out a side door and into the alleyway.
Once outside, you tucked your hair behind your ears and looked down anxiously at your feet. The loss of the music and the sobering night air weakened the boldness you had mustered inside.
“When you said we should go somewhere I wasn’t picturing so much garbage,” Rafe motioned towards the nearby dumpster.
You laughed, his playful words successfully easing your nerves. You took a deep breath and reminded yourself why you’d brought him out here.
“You heard me, didn’t you? In the shower?”
“I’m sorry,” he blushed, caught red handed. “I wasn’t trying to spy or anything. But…yeah.”
“I didn’t mean it,” you told him.
Hurt flashed in his eyes for just a second, before he nodded and squared his shoulders to cover it up.
“Got it,” he shrugged.
“No, I mean, the hating myself part,” you clarified.
“So the other stuff…?” He was quick to follow up.
The door for you to finally tell him how you felt was wide open in front of you, but you weren’t sure if you could walk through it. The words you’d been holding back your whole life sat on the tip of your tongue, but refused to pass your lips. You looked at him helplessly.
“I can’t,” you shook your head.
Rafe sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“What? You can’t what?”
Your mouth fell open in disbelief, incensed that he was the one with an attitude here.
“You know what?” You said, hands on your hips. “I don’t think you have a lot of room to be snapping at me, Rafe. Not after everything you’ve done.”
“Everything I’ve done?” He huffed. “Please, tell me what I did that’s so terrible?”
“Seriously? High school wasn’t that long ago, Rafe.”
“Look I know I was a dick, okay?” He stepped forward, voice softening a bit with his apology. “And maybe you’ll never forgive me. But all that shit? That guy? That’s in the past, and I don’t want to talk about the past anymore, I just wanna be with you now.”
“I don’t know, Rafe,” you shook your head sadly. “I don’t know if I can just pretend none of that happened.”
“How long then?” He threw his hands up in exasperation. “Tell me how long I’m gonna be paying for some shit I did when I was seventeen so I at least have an idea, please. Give me a date so I can plan for it.”
“Let’s see, Rafe, I wanted you for twelve years, you’ve wanted me for like two days. Does that seem even to you?”
Your words struck him, the anger in his eyes dissolving, replaced with tenderness. He stepped towards you tentatively, ducking just a bit to better read your face.
“You really think I’ve only wanted you for two days?” He mumbled softly. “Baby…”
It was the second time he’d called you that today. You were in too much pain when he said it after you fell off the jet ski, but your brain had tucked it away subconsciously to revisit when you felt better. He’d called you baby before, when you were in high school. It had always given you butterflies, and you never called attention to it, afraid he’d stop if he realized how much it meant to you.
Since then, you’d reframed the memories to convince yourself that he never actually meant it, that it was some kind of manipulation tactic. But the way it rolled so naturally off his tongue earlier, and the way he’d breathed it so desperately now, made you reconsider.
“Please don’t call me that,” you pleaded. “Not if you don’t mean it.”
Rafe just blinked back at you, not an ounce of deception in his voice when he said, “I’ve always meant it.”
His confession pinched your heart, the whole story rewriting itself in your mind. For the first time ever, you let yourself actually believe that he cared for you, that he’d always cared for you. To anyone else who knew the whole story, it might seem unlikely, but seeing the look in his eyes right now, you had never been so sure of anything in your life.
You bit your lip as you looked up at him, your deep longing for him stronger than ever. He felt it too, you could tell by the way he drew closer, his body lining up with yours, eyes locked to your lips.
With the most tenderness you’ve ever encountered, he reached his hand up, the pad of his thumb landing on your bottom lip and pulling it gently from between your teeth, undoing you.
“Rafe…” you whispered, a plea and a question, as his lips ghosted over yours.
“Can I?” He breathed. “Please?”
You nodded, never meaning anything more than when you told him “yes.”

“Breakfast was delicious.” I smile as Joaquin presses a kiss to my cheek. I grab the plate from his hands and place it in the sink with the other dishes I’m currently washing.
“What’s the plan for today?” he asks, nuzzling his face into my neck and leaving soft, wet kisses on my skin. His arms wrap around my waist, holding me close, not wanting to let go even as I move to load the dishwasher.
“First, I have a pilates class at eight, then I need to stop by the supermarket for some groceries.” I turn to face him once I’m done putting away the dishes, looping my arms around his neck.
“Skip the supermarket—we can go together tomorrow after work.”
“Yes sir.” I smile, stepping up on my tiptoes to press a kiss to his lips.
“Today’s your brunch date with the girls?” Joaquin pulls out his wallet from his back pocket and hands me his silver credit card.
“Baby, you don’t have to.”
“Don’t start with me, baby.” He pulls me back into his chest. “I want you to indulge and have fun with the girls. Don’t let them split the check.”
“You spoil me so much.”
“And I love spoiling you.” He kisses the back of my hand with a horrible posh accent. “Tell Simone I hope she had a great time on her honeymoon, but I’m stealing her husband next football Sunday.”
“We already know it.” I roll my eyes playfully. You really can’t come between those two and their Sunday football traditions.
Joaquin throws on his army jacket and heads toward the front door. “By the way, I filled your tank yesterday after I finished washing your car.” He grabs his keys from the small bowl by the door like he always does.
“Thank you! I totally forgot I was supposed to get gas on Friday before coming home.”
“You don’t have to thank me, baby. I like taking care of you.” He gives me a look, reaching for my hand reassuringly. “What’s the point of being your man if I’m not making your life easier?”
I tug on the ends of my red jacket, already zipped halfway over my matching sports bra. “I don’t know what I did before I met you.”
We walk out the driveway and to his car still holding hands, the morning air still crisp.
My tiny red shorts don’t do much for warmth—but they do something to Joaquin. He keeps sneaking glances at me from the corner of his eye.
“You’re so bad at being subtle.” I giggle, my cheeks blushing. I can’t even blame him—I’m just as bad. I can’t help staring at him either. He wears the same uniform every day and it still drives me absolutely insane. There’s just something about seeing him in his army getup every morning and evening. It never gets old.
He opens the driver’s side door but doesn’t get in yet. Instead, he turns to me, pulling me in by the waist. “I can’t help it. I gotta get my fill of you for the day to survive my long work hours.”
“Don’t be dramatic.” I look up at him, laughing softly, right before one of his hands slips from my waist to grip my ass.
“Baby, the neighbors,” I warn, trying to hide my smile.
His lips brush mine, and I think it’s going to be a sweet, quick goodbye kiss—until it’s not. Suddenly I’m on my toes, hands in his hair, his mouth moving against mine like we’re teenagers making out in the driveway after curfew. His fingers slip just under the hem of my jacket, warm and gentle on my lower back, and for a second I consider dragging him back inside and making him even more late to work.
When we finally pull away, I’m breathless. He tucks a rogue piece of hair behind my ear and grins, boyish and smug.
“Let me know when you leave to meet up with the girls.”
“I will.” I steal one last kiss before he hops into his car. “I love you.”
“Love you too, baby.” He shoots me a wink before backing out of the driveway. I’m smiling like a complete idiot.
When I turn around to walk back into the house, my eyes meet our grumpy old lady neighbor across the street. Mrs. Riley is standing on her porch, arms crossed, already shaking her head in disapproval at our early morning makeout session.
“Good morning, Mrs. Riley,” I call out sweetly, trying not to laugh as she mutters something under her breath. I walk back inside and shut the door behind me, still grinning, trying to calm my racing heart.
By the time my pilates class wraps up, I already have my outfit picked out in my head for brunch with the girls. Mia—my very pregnant best friend—and I went to the mall last Friday, and I found the perfect dress for our monthly get-together.
I shower quickly to wash off the post-pilates sweaty and sticky feeling off my skin. Once I’m clean and dry, I slip into the buttery yellow sundress and tie the dainty straps into delicate little bows on top of my shoulders. The corseted midi dress fits like a glove and pairs perfectly with my favorite platform sandals. It’s perfect for our late brunch reservation and I can’t wait to wear it more next spring.
I grab my phone and walk out of the walk-in closet, heading over to the big mirror tucked into the corner of our master bedroom. I angle my body just a little, sliding one leg forward to show a peek of skin through the slit in the dress. I snap a quick picture and send it to Joaquin.
Leaving soon, love you 💋
His response comes almost instantly—except it’s not a text. It’s a FaceTime call.
The moment his face pops up on my screen and he gets a good look at me, he lets out a low whistle while I show off my outfit with a spin.
“Te ves hermosa, como siempre,” he murmurs into the phone, clearly hiding somewhere in his shared office.
“Aren’t you supposed to be working, Lieutenant?”
“Yeah, but you decided to send me a picture of you in that dress. You’re killing me, baby,” he says, leaning back dramatically in his chair.
“I think you’ll survive, handsome.” I giggle, grabbing my purse from the bed and adjusting the strap over my shoulder.
“I can’t even begin to say the things running through my head right now.” He groans, running a hand down his face. “But if I want to buy you hundreds of dresses like that, I have to keep working. Have fun, sweetheart.”
“I will! And try not to stare at the picture all day. You actually have to get back to work.”
I hear voices in the background, someone entering the room, and Joaquin glances over his shoulder.
“Now I really have to go,” he sighs. “Call me if you need anything.”
I blow him a kiss through the screen before ending the call, my mood lighter than before.
The girls and I usually have brunch at our favorite spot downtown called Oliver. For a Monday, the front patio is surprisingly full, but I head straight inside and make my way toward the back patio where we always sit—our usual reserved table waiting for us.
Oliver has seen us through every season of our lives. When Tiana passed the bar exam. Mia’s first baby shower, three years ago. The day after Simone got engaged to Marcus, two years ago. So many memories tied to this place. And today, for our monthly catch-up, we’re celebrating Simone’s return from her month-long honeymoon in Europe.
“You’re late,” Mia points out, classic Virgo, she never changes.
“I’m sorry,” I say, pulling out a chair and slipping into it. “I had to stop by the florist to pay the deposit for your baby shower.”
“Girl, is that the dress you bought last Friday?” Tiana whistles, raising her champagne glass to me. I laugh and nod—of course she remembers. I sent them a minute-long video haul in the group chat the second I got home.
“Lucky for us Joaquin’s at work,” she teases. “He wouldn’t let you leave the house for days if he saw you in that dress.”
“I sent him a pic and he didn’t even hesitate to FaceTime me like two seconds later.” I grin as the waiter sets a mimosa down in front of me. “Thanks,” I tell him, then take a quick sip.
“Ugh, you guys are so gross.” Mia rolls her eyes playfully and takes a sip of her orange juice.
“Let her live, Mia,” Simone jumps in. “We had to deal with you and Andrew first and none of us complained.”
Tiana and I laugh with Simone as Mia shrugs, pretending like she has no idea what we’re talking about.
“I don’t know what you guys are talking about,” she says, all innocent.
“Oh, Andrew baby, I miss you already,” I say in my best impression of Mia, dramatically grabbing Tiana’s hands across the table.
“Mia, I can’t wait to kiss every freckle on your beautiful face,” Tiana adds, joining in with her own over-the-top impersonation of Mia and Andrew’s honeymoon phase (which, honestly, never ended).
“Oh shut it, people are staring.” Mia throws a piece of bread at us, laughing.
“How’s my baby shower coming along?” she asks, switching topics before we get even more dramatic.
“The flowers and décor are ordered. I’m just waiting on the quote from the company renting the chairs and tables, but mostly everything’s on schedule.” I rattle it off like a checklist, gasping a little once I reach the end. I finish my mimosa and glance at the menu, even though I already know what I’m going to order. I get the same thing every time.
“Andrew and I finished the guest list. Remind me to send it to you later,” Mia says, reaching for her orange juice.
“How do you feel after a month-long honeymoon?” I ask Simone, who’s sitting across from me.
“It was amazing! We went to that restaurant you and Joaquin recommended in Rome—it was so good, we actually went again before leaving for Spain.”
“It’s so good, and the owners are the sweetest,” I add, smiling.
The rest of brunch flows the way it always does with laughter echoing around our table, plates filled with delicious food, and us reminiscing about college and diving into girl talk. Eventually, the waiter sets the bill down, and before anyone can argue, I grab it and slide Joaquin’s card into the little black folder.
“What?” I ask, noticing the three of them smirking at me.
“Oh, nothing,” Simone says, the first to speak. “Just make sure to thank Joaquin for brunch.”
“She didn’t even look at the total,” Tiana points out with a laugh.
“Why would she?” Mia chuckles. “Her man loves spoiling her.”
“As he should,” they all say in unison, like it’s rehearsed. I try to laugh it off, but I can already feel the warmth creeping into my cheeks.
“Our girl is in love,” Tiana sings, just a little too happy from the mimosas.
“You’re the last one of us who hasn’t gotten engaged yet,” Simone says. “What’s he waiting for?”
“We’ve talked about it,” I say, brushing a loose strand of hair behind my ear. “But we just want to enjoy the house for a while. Maybe down the line, ring shopping could be on the table.”
Everyone’s always asking when we’re getting married, when we’re having a baby—but honestly, the stress of closing on the house was enough. Joaquin and I just want to enjoy what we’ve built for a little while before the next big thing.
“It’s been more than a year since you guys moved in,” Mia says, more to herself than to anyone.
“Yeah, but it hasn’t been a year since Joaquin fully recovered from his injuries from that assignment,” I begin, my tone softening. “My fear is that he could get shipped out at any time and I need the security of knowing he’s coming home. I don’t think I can go through what happened last time again.”
The lump in my throat is familiar. So is the weight pressing on my chest.
“Honey,” Simone says gently. She and Mia reach out to grab my hands, and Tiana wraps an arm around my shoulder.
“Have you talked to him about this?” Simone asks.
I nod. “He knows he can’t promise me that kind of security. And I don’t want to be the reason he stops doing what he’s been dreaming of for years. He was so excited when he got that ridiculous suit,” I say, smiling through the ache.
“We’re here for you,” Mia adds softly.
“Thank you, guys.” I exhale, offering a small smile. Even though they can’t fully understand what it’s like, just having them by my side means everything.
After brunch, I need to turn off the racing thoughts and anxiety. I send a quick text to Joaquin:
Just got home and the girls say thank you for brunch today. I’m feeling a little off so I’m going to disconnect for a while. Please let me know when you’re on your way home. Love you.
I change into a soft loungewear set—my favorite one—and head toward the sunroom. Even though Joaquin and I share a spacious office down the hall, something about the warm, golden light in this room helps me breathe easier. It’s become my little sanctuary for working, thinking, or just calming down when I feel overwhelmed.
I pull up the guest list Mia sent me on my laptop and dive into the never-ending to-do list for her baby shower. Before I know it, hours slip by. The sun’s dropped lower in the sky, filling the room with orange and pink hues as golden hour settles in. The soft light makes the space glow, and the record player blasts Taylor Swift’s How You Get The Girl at full volume—definitely not Mrs. Riley-approved.
“Remind her how it used to be, yeahhh…” I sing along, completely off-key, dancing in place as my half-up hair swishes around my shoulders in soft waves.
I don’t see Joaquin leaning against the doorway in his army uniform, cap tucked under one arm, while he leans on the doorframe. He doesn’t say a word. Admiring the sight in front of him.
I don’t even realize he’s there.
He stays that way for a while, just watching me in my little bubble—shoulders relaxed, focused, lost in creating something for someone I love. He always says how much he loves watching me work.
"The way your eyes shimmer, how you jump with excitement when something turns out just right—or even better. The way you pour your heart into everything you do… it’s something I’ll never stop falling for," he once said, back when I was planning Mia’s first baby shower. His words stuck with me—still do.
Then the next song starts.
You Are In Love.
“You can see it with the lights out, lights out… You are in love, true love…” I hum along, this time quieter, softer.
“And for once, you let go… of your fears and your ghosts…”
He exhales, quietly, still not wanting to interrupt. But he can’t help it. Not when I’m standing there in my soft two-piece set, glowing in the warm light, surrounded by music in my favorite place in the whole house.
He clears his throat, just loud enough for me to hear.
I jump, my hand flying to my chest. “Joaquin!”
He laughs softly, stepping into the room. “Didn’t mean to scare you, baby.”
“What time is it?” I ask, still a little breathless. “Aren’t you home early?”
“I am,” he says. “I got worried after I read your text. I wanted to make sure you’re okay.”
He steps closer, the record still spinning behind me, humming through the speakers. He extends a hand and I take it, letting him gently pull me up from the floor. Without saying anything else, he wraps his arms around me, guiding my hand to his shoulder, his other hand finding the small of my back. He clasps my free hand in his, and I rest my head against his chest as we begin to sway, slow and easy.
And so it goes… You two are dancing in a snow globe, ’round' and ’round…
The song wraps around us, fading into the background as all I can hear is the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. I close my eyes, letting it ground me as we move gently in the same spot just the two of us.
“You’re exactly what I needed,” I say softly, looking up just as the next track begins to play. We stop swaying, but we don’t let go. We stay right there, in each other’s arms.
“Want to talk about it?” he asks, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
“Maybe later,” I whisper. “I want to stay like this.”
He leans down and kisses me—long, deep, and slow.
Then he whispers, “Over dinner? I brought dinner.”
I smile, my chest aching in that familiar way. “Sometimes I feel like you’re a dream and I don’t want to wake up. I don’t want to get up and realize it was too good to be true.”
He pulls me even closer. “I’m not going anywhere.”
A few weeks later
The backyard is filled with the laughter of kids running wild, family and friends catching up, and a very pregnant Mia sitting at a table, eating and looking completely over it. She’s glowing, but definitely tired of being pregnant. Meanwhile, Andrew is chasing after their three-year-old, Lily, who giggles every time she dodges his outstretched arms like it’s the best game in the world.
I sneak inside to grab more of the appetizers everyone’s loving. As I make my way into the kitchen, I glance out the window, watching the scene outside. My heart feels full. The kind of full that makes you pause and take it in, because it’s not always like this. But right now, it’s perfect.
“Finally, a moment alone with the woman I love,” Joaquin says, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I smile instantly, resting my hands over his and leaning into his warmth.
“You okay?” he murmurs against my ear.
“Just recharging,” I answer, closing my eyes for a second. The sounds of kids’ laughter floating in from the yard melt away the last bits of stress I didn’t even realize I was still holding onto.
“Mia looks so done at this point with pregnancy,” Joaquin says, and we both laugh quietly.
“She does,” I nod. “But I know she loved everything. She cries every time she notices a new detail.”
“I don’t doubt it,” he chuckles.
I turn in his arms to face him, resting my forehead against his chest, my safe place. “Don’t tell her this, but I’m glad it’s almost over,” I laugh, low and tired. “I’m so tired.”
He kisses the top of my head, then rests his chin there, hugging me tighter. “After everyone leaves, you sit back and relax. Marcus and I are in charge of cleaning duty.”
Then, in a soft voice, he adds, “When we get married and fill this house with kids… I hope it feels exactly like this.”
It takes me a second to register what he just said. My breath catches, and I lift my head to look at him. My eyes search his, and I can already feel them welling up. The thought of him chasing after a mini version of us in this same backyard—it’s dizzying.
A little overwhelming and exciting at the same time.
It feels right.
He catches the look on my face, his eyes soft as he takes it all in too.
“I hope so too,” I whisper.

ugh!

summary minjeong gets insanely jealous when you hang out with other people, marking her territory in the most possessive and hilarious way possible. but the problem is, you gays aren't even dating
genre fluff / humor / jealousy / slight angst
pairing kim minjeong x fem!reader
warning/s possessive winter
masterlist.
you’d been hanging out with some friends at a café, having a good time, when you felt the familiar presence of minjeong creeping up behind you. you barely had time to react before her arms were wrapped around your waist, pulling you back into her chest like she was trying to claim you as her personal property.
“hey,” you say, trying to act casual even though you feel the heat radiating off her. “what’s up?”
she just grunts, clearly pissed about something. you glance over at her face, and yep, there’s the all-too-familiar frown. “what’s wrong?” you ask, giving her a look. “why do you look like someone just stole your puppy?”
minjeong doesn’t respond immediately. instead, she just stays glued to your back, her chin resting on your shoulder. you can feel her eyes scanning the group of friends you’re with, and it’s starting to get way too tense.
“are you seriously jealous right now?” you ask, laughing nervously. “you know they’re just my friends, right?”
“no, i’m not jealous,” minjeong snaps, her grip tightening around your waist as if to say you’re mine without saying a word. “i just don’t like how you’re getting all cozy with other people. especially when they’re not me.”
you blink, taken aback. “seriously? you’re getting jealous because i’m sitting next to my friends? it’s not like i’m making out with them or anything.”
“well,” she mutters, her voice low and grumbly, “you’re sitting way too close to that one guy. and your hand keeps brushing against his. like, what the fuck is that?”
you stare at her, eyes wide. “minjeong, that’s literally nothing. we’re just talking.”
but minjeong’s not having any of it. she’s now fully attached to your side, her arms draped over you, and she’s not letting go. “i don’t like it,” she grumbles, still eyeing your friend group like they’ve done something wrong. “it’s like you’re flirting with them or something. and i don’t like sharing.”
“uh, you know we’re not even dating, right?” you say, trying to get some space between the two of you but failing miserably because minjeong’s like a fucking octopus.
“i don’t care,” she mutters under her breath, her fingers digging into your side. “i’m not gonna let anyone get too close to you. no one touches what’s mine.”
you burst out laughing at how ridiculous she’s being. “oh my god, you’re so dramatic. no one’s gonna steal me away from you. chill.”
but minjeong’s not having it. she’s getting more touchy by the second, pulling you closer to her, like she’s trying to create some forcefield around you. at this point, you’re starting to feel like she’s about to explode if you even look at your friends again.
“okay, fine,” you say, giving her a playful nudge. “but if you’re this possessive over me, we have to start dating. seriously, it’s the only way to make sense of this.”
minjeong’s eyes narrow, and you can see the wheels turning in her head. “yeah, maybe i will make you mine officially,” she says, voice dropping low, but it’s not in the flirty way you expect. it’s like she’s dead serious. “then maybe i won’t have to watch you get all touchy-feely with other people.”
you blink. “minjeong, we’re literally just friends—”
“yeah, well, i don’t care,” she cuts you off, her lips pressed against your ear now as she practically whispers into it. “i want to be the one who’s always touching you. who’s always holding your hand. not them.”
you laugh nervously. “jeez, you’re crazy.”
minjeong ignores you and rubs her hand up and down your arm like she’s marking her territory. then, as if to really drive the point home, she leans in and presses a kiss to your cheek, so obviously possessive and jealous that it has your head spinning.
“stop that,” you mumble, trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone around you because now you’re definitely feeling awkward.
minjeong just smirks, looking way too satisfied with herself. “what? can’t a girl kiss her own person?”
“we’re not even—” you start, but she cuts you off again, her hand slipping into yours and not letting go.
“yes, we are. You’re mine. Don’t you get it?” she says it so seriously, but you can hear the smugness in her voice, and it’s driving you insane.
you’re just about to retort when one of your friends speaks up, clearly seeing how intense the situation is getting.
“hey, y/n, you good? looks like your girlfriend’s about to burn us all alive with her glare.”
minjeong’s face immediately lights up at the word “girlfriend,” and she grins like she just won the lottery.
“yup,” she says smugly, her grip on your hand tightening even more. “i’m her girlfriend. and you guys better watch your fucking hands.”
you have no words. no words at all. you just stare at her, wide-eyed, watching her proudly stake her claim on you in front of your entire friend group.
“seriously?” you mumble, feeling both embarrassed and slightly flustered because wow, she is making this way more obvious than it needs to be.
“yup,” minjeong says again, completely oblivious to your internal panic. “she’s mine, so back the fuck off.”
“god, you’re crazy,” you mutter, rubbing your forehead like you’re dealing with an actual lunatic.
“i’m not crazy,” she says, her voice unreasonably calm now. “i’m just protective. You’re mine, and i don’t want anyone else even thinking about getting close to you.”
you’re just about to argue when your friend cuts in again, trying to ease the tension. “okay, okay. no need to claim her so publicly. we get it. she’s yours. chill.”
minjeong, however, doesn’t chill. instead, she leans in, giving you one last squeeze before letting go and turning to your friend group with that same possessive smile.
“yeah, she is,” she says, making sure everyone in the room knows exactly who’s in charge. then she turns back to you, the softest smile on her face. “mine.”
you’ve officially been claimed.

Hi…. I can’t share this with anyone in real life, but I just wanted to share with someone that I finally got a tentacle dodo and the knot dodo just came in the mail today and…..
😮💨😮💨😮💨
AHHHWNDJDNDKW, Hey babes!! I’m actually so fucking jealous lol
I am honored that you’ve come here to share such joyous news of your pleasures both now and in the future hehe. I’ve honestly always been super curious about both kinds of dildos and wanting to try them. You’re fr living the dream right now. I bet the different textures and aspects of a tentacle dildo would be just brrrrrrrrrajjekejfkejkf. Legit would need a reboot. And the streeeetch of a knot dildo. Ugh, I’m so well. I hope they manage to drive you absolutely insane and help sate the need to fuck a monster 🙏🏼
And oh, but like imagine an agency run by witches that pays monsters for their cock molds to make dildos and secretly connects the toy to their real cocks. So whenever a human orders one and uses it, the monster can feel everything they’re doing to themselves with the dildos.
Imagine one of the dildos gets really popular at their shop, literally hundreds of orders, leading to the monster never getting a second away from the mind numbing pleasure of being in hundreds of holes, sometimes he’s in more than one at a time which makes him all the more sensitive. The overstimulation is constant. Even when he’s just shooting blanks he can’t seem to stop. Form hunched over and shaking as he cums over and over again, technically untouched even though it feels like he’s actually there himself.
He’d regret having given those witches the mold if he wasn’t having the time of his life, despite any pain.

me thinking about drunk buck again? shocker
"You know my boyf—mm, no, my ex b’yfrienddd," Buck slurred, pointing vaguely at the man sitting beside him. The guy— some guy named Jake, or maybe Jade... something like that—just nodded like this was the most riveting conversation of his life. "Mmm yes, he is my ex now. Anyway, he was great! No, no, wait, he’s my ex, he’s awful, you see."
The dude hummed in agreement, his lips twitching upward as if he were trying not to laugh. "Seems like it," he said mildly.
Buck squinted not looking at him. "You—you don’t even know him. He’s... complicated. Like, the most annoying person on the planet but also... amazing." He let out a deep, melodramatic sigh and took another sip from his glass. "He does this thing, this... smirk thing, and it’s like—like he knows everything about me, and it drives me insane. Ugh."
"That does sound annoying," the man—Jake said, tilting his head in mock sympathy.
"Right?!" Buck exclaimed, slamming his glass down on the counter. "But then he’d do something stupidly nice like, I don’t know, make me breakfast when I didn’t even ask or fix my stupid shelf that broke because I’m bad at, uh, shelves. And suddenly, I’m like, 'Wow, maybe I’ll just marry this guy.' But noooooo. He had to go and—ugh—be right. About everything."
Jake didn’t say anything, just quirked an eyebrow as Buck kept rambling.
"And now he’s my ex. You heard that part, right? My ex!” Buck hiccuped, slapping his hand over his mouth. "Oops. Sorry. Excuse me."
"Forgiven," Jake said, his tone unreadable. He sipped his drink like this was just another Tuesday.
Buck frowned at him, his drunk brain scrambling for something clever to say. He failed. "You’re very chill, you know that? Like... annoyingly chill. You remind me of him. My ex. I don’t like it. Or maybe I do. I don’t know. Ughhh."
“Must’ve been quite the guy."
Buck sighed, the weight of the world settling onto his shoulders. "He was. He... he really was."
For a moment, neither of them said anything. The silence felt heavy, like it was trying to tell Buck something he couldn’t quite hear. Then he hiccuped again, breaking the spell.
"You’re cool, though," Buck muttered, waving his glass at the guy before tipping it back. "Not like him. But also... kinda like him. Weird."
Jake just smiled faintly, not saying a word.
Buck leaned heavily on the counter, staring at his empty glass like it was the source of all his problems. "You don’t get it. He’s the worst. Like... so smug. Always thinking he knows everything. And you know what? He doesn’t! He doesn’t know me! He doesn’t—hiccup—know what I want. No one does!" He jabbed his finger at the man beside him for emphasis.
Jake, still calm as ever, took a sip of his drink and nodded. "Sounds like a real piece of work."
Buck whipped his head around so fast he nearly fell off the stool. "Whoa, hey! You don’t get to say that," he snapped, his words slurring but his glare surprisingly sharp.
Jake raised an eyebrow, clearly unfazed. "Why not? You just said it."
"Yeah, but—" Buck flailed his hands dramatically, nearly knocking his glass off the counter. "I can say it. I dated him. You? You don’t even know him! You’re just some... some random guy!"
"Fair point," Jake said with a shrug, but there was the faintest twitch of amusement at the corner of his mouth.
Buck narrowed his eyes, his very drunk brain working overtime to keep up. "He’s not that bad, okay? I mean, yeah, he’s annoying and bossy and—" He paused, gesturing vaguely as if the words were just out of reach. "And stubborn. But he’s also, like... thoughtful and—" His voice softened, almost wistful. "Kind. He cared. About me. About everyone. Even when he didn’t say it out loud."
Jake hummed, his tone unreadable. "Doesn’t sound so awful."
"Exactly!" Buck said, throwing his hands up. "That’s what I’m saying! He’s... ugh, he’s the worst best person I’ve ever met. And now he’s gone. And it’s my fault." His voice cracked at the end, and he quickly ducked his head, pretending to study the wood grain of the bar.
"Maybe it’s not your fault," Jake offered, his voice quieter now.
Buck laughed bitterly. "Oh, it is. I mean, I wanted him to stay. I asked him to stay. But he was all, like, 'You’re still figuring yourself out,' and 'I’m your first, not your last.' Like, what does that even mean?!"
Jake’s expression flickered—something Buck couldn’t quite name, not in his current state. "Maybe he thought he was doing the right thing."
"Yeah, well, it wasn’t!" Buck snapped, slamming his hand down on the counter. "It wasn’t the right thing for me. I didn’t want right, I wanted him. And now I’m here, talking to you, and he’s... I don’t even know where he is."
Jake didn’t respond right away, just sat there, his drink untouched. After a moment, he said, "Maybe he’s closer than you think."
Buck frowned, squinting like the words were a puzzle he couldn’t solve. But before he could ask what that was supposed to mean, another hiccup cut him off, and he groaned, burying his face in his hands.
"You’re weird," he mumbled through his fingers. "Why are you even listening to me?"
Jake chuckled softly, the sound warm and familiar in a way that tugged at something deep in Buck’s chest. "I guess I’m just a sucker for a good story."
"He is!" Buck said, throwing his hands up in exasperation. "He’s—ugh. He’s just this guy, you know? But not just a guy. He’s... he’s smart, and thoughtful, and really good at all the boring, practical stuff I suck at. Like, he can fix anything. He once rebuilt an engine in his garage for fun! Who does that?!" Buck paused, hiccupping before continuing. "And he has this way of looking at you like you’re the most important thing in the world, even when you’re being a complete idiot. Especially when you’re being a complete idiot. And then, just when you think you’ve got him figured out, he’ll say something so... so him—and it’s exactly what you needed to hear, even if you didn’t want to."
His voice cracked, and he dropped his gaze to his empty glass. "He made me feel like... like maybe I was worth sticking around for, you know? But then he left anyway. So what does that say about me?"
Buck groaned, dragging his hands down his face. "I don’t even know why I’m talking about him. He’s gone, and he probably doesn’t think about me at all anymore."
"Maybe he does," Jake said, his voice calm but carrying a weight Buck couldn’t quite process in his state.
Buck snorted, his head wobbling as he tried to look at Jake. "Nah. He’s too busy being perfect somewhere else. Fixing things, smirking at someone else, probably making them breakfast now." His voice cracked again, and he slumped forward, leaning heavily on the counter. "It’s not fair. I don’t want to miss him, but I do. All the time. Every damn day."
Jake stayed quiet for a moment, swirling the remnants of his drink. "Sounds like you really loved him."
Buck blinked blearily at Jake. "Yeah. Yeah, I did. Still do. But it doesn’t matter. He left."
"Maybe he thought you deserved better," Jake murmured, his tone so soft Buck almost missed it.
"Better?" Buck slurred, laughing bitterly. "There’s no better. He was better. He was it. And I messed it up."
Jake leaned back, his eyes studying Buck for a long moment. "Maybe he thought he was the one who messed it up."
Buck frowned at that, the words bouncing around in his drunken mind without fully landing. He opened his mouth to respond, but a yawn caught him off guard, and his head lolled forward slightly.
"Okay," Jake said, standing up and patting Buck’s shoulder. "Let’s get you home before you pass out here."
"I’m not—" Buck started to protest, but his words dissolved into another yawn. "Fine. Whatever. But only ’cause you’re so... so good at listening, Jake."
Jake chuckled, sliding Buck’s arm around his shoulders as he helped him off the stool. "Sure, that’s why."
The trip to the loft was a blur for Buck, his head bobbing as he mumbled fragments of sentences. "He used to—hiccup—used to cook pancakes on Sundays," he muttered as they walked. "Never liked syrup, though. Just butter. Who doesn’t like syrup?"
Jake made a noncommittal noise, holding Buck steady as they reached the loft.
When they reached the loft, Buck fumbled with his keys before Jake gently took them from him and unlocked the door. Inside, Buck stumbled forward, nearly tripping over his own feet.
"Whoa, easy there," Jake said, catching him with an arm around his waist. "We’re not done yet. Bed’s upstairs, right?"
Buck blinked at him, bleary-eyed, before nodding vaguely in the direction of the stairs. "Yeah... stairs. Stupid stairs. Who needs stairs anyway? I should just sleep right here." He sagged slightly, leaning heavily into Jake.
Jake sighed, adjusting Buck’s arm over his shoulders. "Come on, you’re almost there."
They moved toward the stairs, Buck dragging his feet and muttering incomprehensibly. Jake tightened his hold, practically lifting him as they climbed. "You’re heavier than you look, you know that?" Jake muttered under his breath.
"’M not heavy," Buck slurred, his head lolling against Jake’s shoulder. "You’re just... weak. Bet you’ve never carried someone out of a fire or... or something heroic like that."
Jake smirked faintly, his voice low and even. "You’d be surprised."
By the time they reached the top, Buck was practically draped over Jake, who maneuvered him carefully toward the bed. He eased Buck down onto the mattress, keeping a hand on his shoulder to steady him as Buck flopped back with a groan.
"Finally," Buck mumbled, eyes half-closed. "Hate those stairs. Hate... everything."
Jake crouched down to untie Buck’s shoes, his movements steady and practiced, as though this wasn’t the first time he’d done this. "Don’t worry, I’ve got it from here," he said softly.
Buck blinked down at him, his vision swimming. "You’re... nice," he mumbled. "Too nice. You don’t even... you don’t even know me." He hiccupped, his head lolling to one side. "I mean, you’re here, so you’re not that bad. But… you’re not him."
Jake’s hand stilled for a fraction of a second before he resumed tugging off Buck’s shoes.
"He’d probably—hiccup—he’d probably say I’m too much. Like I push too hard, or I don’t stop to think. But I just… I just try, you know? Maybe I try too much..." Buck’s voice cracked, and he let out a breathy laugh. "And now look. No one’s here."
Jake paused, his jaw tightening as he set the shoes neatly by the bed. He glanced up briefly, something flickering across his face, but Buck didn’t notice.
Jake’s hands moved to unbutton Buck’s jeans, and Buck let out a tired laugh. "I’m not... I’m not that kinda guy, Jake."
Jake snorted softly. "Relax. You’re safe."
He eased the jeans off and set them aside, then reached for Buck’s shirt. Buck swatted weakly at him but barely had the energy to protest. "You’re... too good at this. Bet you’re a pro at babysitting drunk idiots."
"Something like that," Jake murmured, pulling the blanket up and tucking it snugly around Buck’s shoulders. For a moment, his hand lingered on the edge of the blanket, his eyes scanning Buck’s face as if committing him to memory.
Buck stirred, his eyes fluttering half-open. "I miss him," he mumbled, his voice barely audible. His hand flailed clumsily for a second before it landed on Jake’s arm. "Tell him... I miss him."
Jake froze, his jaw tightening as he looked down at Buck. Then he covered Buck’s hand with his own, his thumb brushing against his knuckles for a brief moment. "I’ll tell him," he said softly, even though Buck was already slipping into sleep.
Jake placed a water bottle and some pills on the bedside table, his movements quiet and deliberate. He lingered there for a beat, his gaze heavy with something unspoken.
Leaning down, Jake brushed his fingers lightly through Buck’s curls, his voice low and warm as he whispered, "I don’t even look like a Jake, Evan."
Buck stirred slightly, a faint furrow in his brow, but his eyes stayed closed. Jake Tommy pulled back, hesitating for just a moment before slipping out, leaving the loft in silence.

So Good to Her
Charles Leclerc x Reader
Summary: the public reacts to the TikTok challenge you and Charles inadvertently participated in
Read So Good to Me (about the TikTok challenge) here
The TikTok that the British influencer posted of his encounter with you and your incredibly generous boyfriend quickly goes viral, racking up millions of views, likes, and comments within mere hours.
It spreads like wildfire across social media platforms, with people sharing it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook — even LinkedIn of all places. Everyone marvels at this mystery woman with the boyfriend of all boyfriends who casually sent her €10,000 just to buy a pair of shoes.
In a cozy London flat, a group of university students and diehard Charles fans gather around a laptop, eyes wide as they watch the now-viral video for the umpteenth time.
“I can’t believe Charles has a secret girlfriend!” Megan, a petite blonde wearing a red Ferrari cap, exclaims. “How did we not know about this? We follow his every move!”
Her best friend Ethan nods in agreement, his brow furrowed. “Seriously, who is this girl? She’s drop dead gorgeous and apparently Charles is just casually sending her 10 grand for shopping sprees?”
“Okay but like, goals though,” Lexi chimes in dreamily, clutching a Charles Leclerc poster to her chest. “Imagine having a boyfriend who’s not only mega hot and talented but also spoils you rotten. She’s living the dream.”
Ethan scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Oh come on, he can’t just throw money around like that. I bet this whole thing was staged for clout.”
Megan shoots him a withering glare. “Don’t be ridiculous. What would be the point? Charles is already one of the most popular drivers on the grid, he doesn’t need to pull PR stunts for attention.”
“Plus did you see the way he talked to her on the phone?” Lexi points out, rewinding the video. “That was not acting, that was real love and affection in his voice. I’m so soft for them already, ugh.”
The trio falls silent as they watch the clip again, zeroing in on every little detail and facial expression from both Charles’ mystery girlfriend and the clearly shocked TikToker.
Ethan chuckles and shakes his head. “I still can’t get over her reaction though. Just a guy who loves driving fast cars — I mean, the cheek! She really knows how to keep a secret, gotta give her that.”
“An icon, honestly,” Megan declares. “The fact that she told him to donate the money to an animal shelter too ... okay, I can’t even be mad. She seems like a sweet person.”
Lexi sighs happily, starry-eyed. “They’re literally a power couple. The sheer confidence and BDE of it all. I’m so jealous but also like, rooting for them? We have to find out who this girl is!”
As if on cue, Megan’s phone pings with a Twitter notification. Her eyes widen as she swipes to view it. “Guys. GUYS. The TikToker just confirmed her first name is Y/N and posted another video with a few more details about her!”
“Well don’t just sit there, play it!” Ethan demands, practically launching himself across the couch to peer over Megan’s shoulder at her phone screen. Lexi scrambles to join them, bouncing with anticipation.
In the new clip, the TikToker is grinning excitedly at the camera, an extra bounce in his step as he walks along the same Monaco street where he first approached you.
“Right, so I’m sure by now you’ve all seen my video with Charles Leclerc’s girlfriend go absolutely mental viral,” he begins, running a hand through his artfully tousled hair. “Which, can I just say — thank you so much for the insane support and love, you lot are the best fans ever.”
“Get to the point,” Ethan mutters under his breath, earning a sharp “Shh!” from both girls.
“Anyway,” the TikToker continues. “After she left and I finally picked my jaw up off the floor, I did some digging. I headed to that little boutique she mentioned in the call with Charles, just to see if she actually went in and bought anything. Thought maybe if I asked the staff, they might be able to give me some more info, you know?”
Megan, Ethan, and Lexi all subconsciously lean closer to the small phone screen, hanging on to his every word.
“So get this — not only did she buy the shoes, she apparently also went next door and purchased, and I quote, a frankly alarming amount of lingerie. The cashier said she dropped over 5 grand like it was nothing!”
Lexi lets out a scandalized gasp as Ethan chokes on his sip of Red Bull. Megan just shakes her head in wonderment. “The actual legend,” she murmurs reverently.
The TikToker laughs and waggles his eyebrows suggestively at the camera. “I don’t know about you lot, but I’m definitely sensing some spicy thank you for the shopping money activities were planned for a certain Ferrari driver, if you know what I mean. Get in there, Charles!”
“Gross, I so did not need that visual,” Ethan grumbles, but there’s a slight smirk playing on his lips all the same.
“Oh shut up, as if you wouldn’t do the exact same if you were dating Charles,” Lexi retorts with a playful shove to his shoulder.
“ANYWAY,” the TikToker presses on, “I did manage to squeeze a few more details out of the lovely shop girl. Apparently Charles’ girlfriend is named Y/N, no last name given for privacy reasons. But she’s a regular customer and, I quote, an absolute sweetheart who only ever has glowing things to say about her man. So there you have it, folks — Y/N and Charles are the real deal and we’re all just peasants watching a fairytale unfold.”
Megan sighs dreamily as the video ends. “Y/N and Charles,” she repeats to herself, already typing the names into her social media search bars. “God, even their names sound good together. I have to find out everything about her.”
“Dibs on making their ship name hashtag go viral,” Lexi calls out, already furiously typing away on her own phone.
Ethan snorts and rolls his eyes affectionately at his friends, but there’s no denying the small, reluctantly impressed smile tugging at the corners of his mouth too. “I give it two days before they’re papped together on some glamorous date night now that the secret’s out. Hope she’s ready for the attention dating an F1 star brings.”
“With that level of confidence and the way Charles clearly adores her? I think our girl Y/N will handle the spotlight just fine,” Megan says confidently.
Lexi nods in firm agreement. “Yep, a true queen. Charles better lock that down and wife her up real quick before one of us tries to snatch her for ourselves!”
***
In a cozy apartment not far from the very street where you had your memorable encounter with the TikToker, three young women huddle around a laptop screen, eyes wide and jaws slack as they watch the now viral video for the umpteenth time.
“I can’t believe this,” mutters Isabelle, a pretty brunette with an impressively encyclopedic knowledge of Formula 1 stats. “Charles has a girlfriend? Since when?”
“And he just sent her €10,000 like it was nothing!” Exclaims Maia, nervously twirling a strand of her platinum blonde hair. “I mean, I know he’s loaded but holy shit, the way he spoils her ...”
The third girl, Claire, bites her lip, a pensive look on her delicate features. “Did you hear what she said at the end though? Just a guy who loves driving fast cars. She was obviously talking about Charles. But the way she said it, all mysterious and like it was some inside joke ... I don’t know, it just rubs me the wrong way.”
Isabelle scoffs and rolls her eyes. “Please, she was totally gloating. Didn’t even have the decency to act a little humble about the fact that THE Charles Leclerc is apparently head over heels for her.”
“Exactly!” Maia chimes in, nodding vigorously. “Like okay, congrats, you bagged a hot, rich, famous race car driver. No need to rub it in the rest of our faces.”
Claire wrinkles her nose. “I just don’t get the vibe that she actually cares about him, you know? I mean, who asks their boyfriend to send them money in the middle of the day for some stupid shoes? While he’s working? She seems like such a gold digger.”
“Ugh, you’re so right,” Isabelle agrees, her lips curling in distaste. “Poor Charles is probably blind to it because he’s so gone for her. He didn’t even hesitate to transfer that money!”
Maia sighs dramatically and falls back on the bed. “God, it’s so unfair. Why can’t I find a man who’s that generous and totally obsessed with me? I’d treat him so much better than she does, you can already tell.”
Claire hums and taps her chin thoughtfully. “You know what, I think this smells fishy. How do we even know she’s actually Charles’ girlfriend? For all we know, she could have paid some guy who sounds like him to play along for a TikTok clout.”
Isabelle’s eyes narrow as she considers this possibility. “That’s true ... I haven’t come across any photos of them together or anything. Why has no one ever seen her before if they’re supposedly so in love?”
“Exactly!” Claire exclaims, growing more animated. “I’ve been a Charles fan for years and I’ve never seen or heard anything about a girlfriend. If they’re really dating, there’s no way it wouldn’t have come out before now.”
Maia sits up, suddenly energized by this new conspiracy theory. “Oh my god, you’re right! She’s probably just some wannabe influencer trying to get famous by pretending to be with Charles. That’s so pathetic.”
Isabelle nods slowly, a determined glint in her eye. “You know what? We should do some digging. Try to find out who this girl really is and expose her for the fraud she clearly is. Charles and the world deserve to know the truth.”
“Yesss, I’m so down for an investigation!” Maia says gleefully. “Imagine if we’re the ones who reveal that this whole thing is fake. We’d be doing Charles a huge favor.”
Claire is already pulling up Instagram and Twitter on her phone. “Let’s start by going through the comments on that TikTok and seeing if anyone has identified her or posted any receipts. There have to be some clues somewhere.”
The girls spend the next few hours poring over social media, searching for any scrap of information they can find about the mystery woman who has supposedly captured Charles Leclerc’s heart. They work themselves into a frenzy, convincing each other more and more that you can’t possibly be Charles’ real girlfriend. In their minds, you’re clearly just an opportunistic clout chaser looking for your 15 minutes of fame.
“God, I hope Charles sees through her act soon,” Isabelle says for the hundredth time, shaking her head. “He’s too good for some two-bit gold digger who’s just using him.”
“We’ll make sure he finds out who she really is,” Claire assures her firmly. “And then he’ll have no choice but to dump her lying ass.”
Maia sighs wistfully, hugging a throw pillow to her chest. “Do you think once he’s single again, I might actually have a chance? Like, if I run into him at a race one day and strike up a conversation, maybe he’ll realize I’m the girl he’s meant to be with ...”
“Okay, let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” Claire says with a laugh. “First step is taking down this fraud of a girlfriend. Then we can daydream about being Mrs. Leclerc.”
The girls giggle and go back to their social media sleuthing with renewed determination. They’ve decided you’re public enemy number one and they won’t rest until they’ve exposed you for the fake, money-hungry, clout-chasing liar they’re certain you must be. In their eyes, they’re crusaders for truth, fighting to save their beloved Charles from your clutches.
What they don’t realize, of course, is just how very real and very deep Charles’ feelings for you actually are ... and that you’re not going anywhere anytime soon, Internet conspiracy theories be damned.

In a dimly lit basement somewhere in Italy, a group of die-hard Charles Leclerc fans huddle around a computer screen, their jaws dropping as they watch the video for the umpteenth time.
“Guys, are you seeing this shit?” Enzo, the self-appointed leader of the group, asks incredulously. “Who the hell is this girl and how did she bag Charles freakin’ Leclerc?”
“Dude, we don’t even know for sure that it’s actually Charles,” Giovanni points out skeptically. “She never said his name. It could be some other rich dude with a fast car.”
Enzo scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Oh come on, who else could it be? €10,000 like it’s nothing, is it possible that Leclerc has a secret girlfriend we don’t know about all this time? A guy who likes driving fast cars? It’s obviously Charles! Our boy is LOADED and that’s exactly how he’d spoil his girl.”
Luca nods in agreement, a dreamy expression on his face. “God, can you imagine being with Charles though? Having him call you all those cute pet names and just showering you with love and gifts? I’d fucking die.”
“Yeah, she has to be the luckiest woman on the planet,” Enzo sighs wistfully. “I mean, I’m straight, but even I’d let Charles ruin me, you know what I’m saying?”
The other guys murmur and nod in emphatic agreement, all of them momentarily lost in a fantasy of being Charles Leclerc’s pampered significant other.
“Okay but like, how is this even fair?” Giovanni gripes, breaking the spell. “The rest of us mere mortals are out here busting our asses on Tinder and Hinge, praying a decent girl will swipe right, and Charles just gets to date a literal goddess who is probably a model?”
“Life isn’t fair, Gio,” Enzo says solemnly. “Charles is on a completely different level. He could have any woman he wants and they’d all say yes before he even finished asking. The rules don’t apply to a guy like that.”
Luca suddenly sits up straight, his eyes widening with realization. “Holy shit, guys. Do you know what this means? If Charles is taken, that’s one less F1 driver on the market for all those grid girl groupies to throw themselves at! Maybe the rest of us actually have a chance now!”
Giovanni snorts derisively. “Yeah, you wish. Those chicks are still gonna be busy trying to get with Sainz or Verstappen or Norris. They’re not gonna settle for some nobody Ferrari fan. Let’s be real.”
“Wow, way to kill the vibe, Debbie Downer,” Luca mutters. He turns back to the computer and hits replay on the video, watching enviously as the TikToker clearly shows the €10,000 bank transfer on your phone. “Seriously though, how is this chick not freaking the fuck out? If Charles Leclerc randomly sent me 10 grand I’d be screaming and probably pass out.”
“She’s probably used to it,” Enzo says with a shrug. “I bet this is like, a regular Tuesday for her. Just casually strolling around Monaco, stopping into designer stores whenever she feels like it, Charles’ black credit card weighing down her Hermès purse. The bougiest of WAG lives.”
“God, what I wouldn’t give to trade places with her for just one day,” Giovanni says longingly. “Can you imagine getting to wake up next to Charles every morning? Having him make you breakfast and give you forehead kisses and tell you how much he loves you in that sexy accent?”
“Okay, now you’re just torturing yourself, bro,” Luca laughs. “You’ll be lucky if you can get a Tinder match to agree to split the bill at McDonalds.”
“Why you gotta bring me back to my sad reality like that?” Giovanni groans, chucking a throw pillow at Luca’s head. “Let me live vicariously through Charles’ bougie mystery girlfriend for a little while longer, damn.”
Enzo sighs and leans back in his chair, hands behind his head. “You know what the craziest part of all this is? The fact that Charles managed to keep a whole ass girlfriend hidden from the world. Like, the media has been speculating about his love life forever and no one had a clue he was actually in a serious relationship. That man moves in silence like a ninja.”
“Yeah, and did you see how he just casually threw out that he loves her?” Luca gushes. “He was all I love spoiling you, you deserve the world. My dude is head over heels for this girl and I am LIVING for it.”
“Ugh, why can’t I find a man like that?” Giovanni whines dramatically. “All I want is a guy who will write me cute Instagram captions in three languages and buy out the Gucci store for me but I guess that’s too much to ask!”
“Maybe if you stanned Charles harder, the universe would reward you,” Enzo snarks. “Start leaving thirsty comments on his shirtless pics, see if that manifests your dream F1 boyfriend.”
“Bold of you to assume I don’t already do that,” Giovanni retorts with a smirk. “How else do you think Oscar Piastri ended up in my DMs last night?”
“Wait, WHAT?” Luca and Enzo exclaim in unison, whipping their heads around to gape at their friend.
Giovanni bursts out laughing at their shocked faces. “I’m just kidding, jeez! You think I’d be sitting here listening to you losers if Oscar freaking Piastri actually messaged me? Puh-lease.”
“Man, don’t even joke about that,” Enzo grumbles, clutching at his heart. “You really had me going there for a sec.”
Luca huffs and slouches down in his seat. “Can we get back to being jealous of Charles’ sugar baby girlfriend now? I was enjoying that more than whatever the hell this conversation turned into.”
“She’s not his sugar baby!” Enzo argues. “They’re clearly in love! Did we watch the same video? The way he talked to her was mad cute. That’s his GIRL girl.”
“You’re right, you’re right,” Luca concedes, holding his hands up in apology. “Charles might spoil her but he obviously adores her for more than just her looks. That’s the real relationship goals right there.”
“Imagine being so secure in your love that you can just ball out on your partner like that and know it’s only going to make them love you more,” Giovanni muses. “Cannot relate.”
Enzo nods sagely. “Charles is just built different, man. In more ways than one.”
“Truer words have never been spoken,” Luca agrees. “So, are we watching this video another 50 times or are we moving on to the Grill the Grid compilation I found of all of Charles’ most adorably flustered moments?”
Enzo grins maniacally and reaches for the mouse. “Oh, you know we’re watching the hell out of this absolute gift again. And then we’re gonna spend the next three hours cyberstalking Charles and seeing if we can find any other crumbs about who this legendary mystery woman is. For research purposes.”
“This is the most productive thing we’ve done in months and I’m not even ashamed,” Giovanni declares, cracking his knuckles in preparation for the intense social media deep dive they’re about to undertake.
***
In a crowded sports bar in Dublin, a group of die-hard Ferrari fans gather to watch the latest race. But today, there’s another bit of F1-related content that has their attention. They huddle around a phone, repeatedly watching the now-infamous TikTok video.
“Can you believe it? €10,000 just like that!” Exclaims James, a tall, lanky guy with a mop of curly hair. “I mean, I knew Charles was loaded but damn ...”
“Forget the money, did you see his girlfriend?” Tom, a stocky redhead, chimes in. “Absolutely stunning. Like, how does a race car driver land a girl like that?”
Mark, a quieter guy with glasses, rolls his eyes. “Uh, maybe because he’s Charles freaking Leclerc? The man’s a beast on the track and has the face of a Greek god. Girls probably throw themselves at him left and right.”
The guys all mutter in begrudging agreement, a note of envy coloring their voices. On screen, the video replays yet again, showing you confidently calling up your boyfriend and securing the small fortune without batting an eye.
“God, what I wouldn’t give to have a woman look at me the way she probably looks at Leclerc,” Tom sighs wistfully.
“In your dreams, mate,” James scoffs. “Girls like that are way out of our league. We can’t compete with a Ferrari paycheck and Monaco real estate.”
“Still doesn’t seem fair though,” grumbles Mark. “The dude’s already got it all — talent, fame, money. Leave some for the rest of us!”
On screen, the video reaches the part where you coolly inform the gobsmacked TikToker that you don’t need his measly €2,000 and he should donate it to an animal shelter instead. The guys let out low whistles, clearly impressed by your classy move.
“See, that right there, that’s what separates the Monegasque princess types from regular girls,” says James with an air of authority. “We would’ve taken the cash in a heartbeat.”
“Speak for yourself, I’m a man of principle,” Tom jokes, puffing out his chest exaggeratedly. The others snort and shove him playfully.
As the video ends, the guys sit back, each lost in their own wistful imaginings of what it must be like to be Charles Leclerc. To have the money, success, and effortless charm to win over a girl like you.
Mark is the first to break the contemplative silence. “Maybe we’re looking at this all wrong,” he muses thoughtfully. “I mean yeah, Charles is a lucky bastard, no doubt. But that girl, she seems like a real catch too. Like the kind of person who’d keep you humble and grounded, even when you’re a superstar athlete with the world at your feet.”
The others consider this, nodding slowly. “Fair point,” concedes Tom. “Behind every great man and all that jazz. Leclerc may have his millions but he still needs someone to call him out on his BS from time to time.”
“Exactly,” agrees Mark. “And did you hear the way he spoke to her on the phone? The dude’s completely smitten. He may have all the money and fame, but I bet she’s the real prize in his eyes.”
“Alright, alright, settle down Dr. Phil,” James interjects with a good-natured eye roll. “You gonna start writing romance novels in your spare time now? Maybe they’ll make a movie — The Tifosi Who Loved Me: A Charles Leclerc Story.”
The guys all crack up laughing at that, the tension broken. Their envy towards Leclerc’s charmed life remains, but it’s now tinged with a newfound respect and even a touch of empathy.
“Y’know, jokes aside, I do hope he realizes how lucky he is to have her and treats her right,” Mark says sincerely as their chuckles subside. “A love like that seems rare these days.”
Tom reaches over to clap Mark on the shoulder. “No worries, mate. Did you see the dopey grin on Charles’ face in those paparazzi pics of them together that came out earlier? That man is whipped with a capital W. He knows he’s got a keeper.”
“As he should,” nods James sagely. “Behind every great Ferrari champion is an even greater woman keeping his ego in check. Tale as old as time.”
On that note, the guys clink their pint glasses together, silently saluting the unnamed woman who stole the heart of Charles Leclerc and the envious admiration of Formula 1 fans worldwide. The mystery girlfriend with impeccable style and a heart of gold.
As the pre-race coverage starts up on the bar TV, the guys settle in to cheer on their favorite driver, their fleeting jealousy replaced by the camaraderie and excitement of race day. But in the back of their minds, a single wistful thought remains — what they wouldn’t give to find a love like Charles and his girl seem to share. Guess that’s just one more thing to add to the list of reasons to idolize Charles Leclerc.
***
Among the hordes of viewers obsessively replaying the clip are three best friends gathered for a girls night at a posh Parisian penthouse. Colette, the willowy blonde draped across a velvet chaise lounge, takes a sip of her champagne and shakes her head in wonder.
“God, can you imagine having a boyfriend who just casually drops 10k on you like it’s nothing? Talk about relationship goals,” she sighs dreamily.
Next to her, Nadia snorts derisively while scrolling through Instagram on her phone. “Oh please, like that’s hard to find. I bet loads of rich guys would do that for their girlfriends. It’s not that impressive.”
From her perch on a tufted ottoman, Stephanie raises a skeptical eyebrow. “Really? You think Liam would send you that kind of cash without batting an eye? Mr. I-Need-To-Check-With-My-Financial-Advisor-Before-I-Buy-A-New-Tie?”
Colette erupts into giggles at the scathing impression of Nadia’s banker boyfriend. Even Nadia cracks a reluctant smile before tossing her sleek dark hair.
“Whatever. I’m just saying, that TikTok chick’s boyfriend can’t be THAT special. I’m sure if we did the same challenge our boyfriends would come through too,” she declares with more than a hint of competitiveness in her voice.
“Oooh yes, let’s do it! Let’s recreate the video and see what happens!” Colette squeals, bouncing up and down on the chaise with excitement.
Stephanie, ever the voice of reason, looks uncertain. “I don’t know, guys ... isn’t it a bit tacky to demand money from them like that? What if they get mad?”
Nadia rolls her eyes. “Oh come on Steph, live a little! It’s just a silly experiment. Where’s your sense of adventure?”
“Okay, okay fine,” Stephanie relents, unable to resist her friends’ cajoling. “But I’m blaming you both if Omer breaks up with me over this!”
“Deal!” Colette grins impishly as she grabs her phone. “I’ll go first — let me call Henry and we’ll see if he’s as generous as Mystery Monaco Man.”
With a deep breath, she dials her property developer boyfriend and launches into her rehearsed plea as soon as he picks up. “Baby!” She whines. “You’ll never believe what happened. I’m out with the girls and my Louboutins broke! Like the heel just totally snapped off. I’m absolutely gutted, these were my faves. Is there any way you could send some money to my account so I can grab a new pair on the way home? Pleeeaaase, I’ll love you forever!”
There’s a heavy pause before Henry’s clipped voice comes through, tinged with annoyance. “Christ, again with the bloody shoes? What is it with you women and wasting my hard earned money on bits of leather you don’t need? Can’t you just take the broken ones to get fixed?”
Colette’s perfectly glossed pout trembles, her blue eyes shining with disappointed tears as Nadia and Stephanie look on in pity. “Never mind,” she mumbles. “Forget I asked. Chat later.” She hangs up and flings her phone down despondently.
“What an ass,” Nadia spits. “You deserve so much better.” Colette shrugs sadly but rallies as she turns to Stephanie expectantly.
“Okay Steph, your turn to give Omer a ring! Let’s hope he restores our faith in rich boyfriends everywhere.”
Stephanie grimaces but dutifully calls her Qatar-based hedge fund manager beau. In her most saccharine voice, she makes her case. “Habibi, you know that gorgeous YSL bag I showed you last week? It finally came back in stock but only for today! Could you maybe pop some cash in my account so I can treat myself? I’ve been working so hard lately and-”
“Wallahi Stephanie, how many handbags does one woman need?” Omer cuts her off irritably. “If I buy you this one, I don’t want to hear any more whining for designer things for at least 6 months, got it? I’ll send you 500 euros, that should more than cover it.”
“Oh. Right. Thanks, I guess ...” Stephanie replies glumly before ending the call. She shakes her head at her friends. “Well, it’s something at least?”
“Hardly,” Nadia scoffs. “These men, I swear. Okay, time for me to show you girls how it’s done. Watch and learn, ladies.”
With a confident smirk, she video calls Liam who answers distractedly, clearly still at the office despite the late hour. “This better be important Nadia, I’m right in the middle of-”
“Liam. Focus,” Nadia cuts him off crisply. “I need you to send €10,000 to my account right now. No questions asked.” She arches a commanding eyebrow, daring him to argue.
Liam just blinks at her for a moment before letting out an incredulous laugh. “I’m sorry, you need me to do what now? 10 grand, are you mad? For what possible reason?”
“To prove you love me,” Nadia retorts smugly. “I saw this thing on TikTok, some girl’s boyfriend sent her-”
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” Liam interrupts. “I’m not one of your little social media playthings to manipulate for views, Nadia. My money is not a toy. I’ll buy you a thoughtful gift for your birthday next month, but I’m not in the business of flinging cash at you for no reason. Now if you’ll excuse me, some of us have real work to do. Goodnight.”
With that he abruptly ends the call, leaving Nadia staring at the blank screen, a red flush of embarrassment and anger creeping up her elegant neck. Stephanie and Colette exchange knowing looks.
“So … that went well,” Stephanie quips sarcastically.
Colette sighs morosely as she flops back onto the chaise, hugging a silk pillow. “Maybe that girl’s boyfriend really is one of a kind. God, I bet she feels like the luckiest woman alive. Can you even imagine being THAT loved and adored?”
Nadia seems to deflate, her bravado evaporating. “No,” she whispers. “I can’t. You’re right, Col. Mystery Monaco Man is clearly in a league of his own. I bet he makes her feel like an absolute queen every damn day.”
Stephanie nods thoughtfully, twirling a lock of hair. “You know what though? Good for her. She seems lovely and down-to-earth in the video. If anyone deserves that fairy tale romance, it’s a girl like that who doesn’t even realize how special it is.”
“Ugh, so true. god I’m depressed now,” Colette groans, reaching for the champagne bottle to refill her glass. “To Mystery Monaco Man — may he set the standard for rich boyfriends everywhere. And to the girl who’s lucky enough to love him — may she live happily ever after and never take a single moment for granted.”
“Hear, hear,” Nadia and Stephanie chorus, clinking their glasses against Colette’s.
As the bubbles fizz on their tongues, the wistful faraway looks in their eyes betray the same thought — what they wouldn’t give to trade places with you for just a day, to know what it feels like to be cherished so completely by a man like Charles. To them, you’re living the ultimate dream.
If only they knew the best part isn’t the extravagant gestures or lavish gifts.
It’s the little moments. The soft kisses pressed to your temple. The fingers intertwined with yours. The sleepy smiles over morning coffee. The shared laughter and inside jokes. The unwavering support and unconditional acceptance. The bone-deep feeling of safety and coming home.
That’s the real fairy tale. And no amount of money could ever buy it.

Back in Monaco, Lando Norris slouches comfortably in his gaming chair, eyes glued to the triple monitors in front of him. He’s meant to be reviewing telemetry data in preparation for the upcoming race weekend, but the notification chime from his phone proves far too tempting. Lando picks up the device, fully intending to only glance at it for a second before dutifully returning to his work.
But then he sees it — the TikTok that at least a dozen people have sent to him in the past hour alone. Curiosity piqued, Lando clicks on the video and watches intently, his brows steadily rising towards his hairline with each passing second.
“Wait, is that ...” he mutters to himself as the clip plays out. When your boyfriend’s voice comes through the speakers, Lando’s eyes bug out comically. “Holy shit, it is Charles! And Y/N!”
A knock on the door makes Lando jump slightly. Before he can respond, a familiar mop of tousled chestnut hair pokes into the room. “Hey mate, did you see-” Max Verstappen starts to say.
“The TikTok of Charles simping hard for Y/N? Yup, watching it right now,” Lando finishes for him, eyes still glued to his phone screen in fascination.
Max invites himself into the room fully and flops down on the couch. “Absolutely crazy, right? Who just casually sends their girlfriend 10k for a random pair of shoes?”
Lando snorts. “Certainly not you, you stingy Dutchman,” he ribs playfully. Max chucks a throw pillow at him in retaliation.
“Hey, even I splurge on my girlfriend sometimes!” Max protests. “I just bought her ... erm ...” He racks his brain trying to remember the last lavish gift he purchased unprompted.
“A six-pack of Sugar Free Red Bull last week?” Lando supplies dryly.
“... Shut up.”
The two dissolve into snickers before turning their attention back to the TikTok, which has now looped to the beginning again.
“Charles is so whipped for Y/N,” Max observes, shaking his head in amused disbelief. “He’s just asking to get taken advantage of, throwing money around like that.”
“I think it’s kinda sweet,” Lando admits with a shrug. “He just wants to make her happy. Don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same if your girl asked!”
Max scoffs. “What, fall victim to a gold digger? No thanks mate.”
“Y/N’s hardly a gold digger and you know it,” Lando chides. “She works hard for her own money and buys plenty of expensive gifts for Charles too. They just like spoiling each other ‘cause they’re in luuurve.” He draws out the last word in a silly voice, making dramatic kissy faces.
“Yeah, yeah, true love and all that sappy bullshit,” Max says dismissively, though there’s no real heat behind it. “I’m just saying, no way in hell I’m sending 10k on command for a pair of fucking shoes!”
Lando hums thoughtfully. “I would.”
Max’s head whips around to stare at him incredulously. “You what.”
“If it was the right girl? Sure, I’d do it,” Lando says nonchalantly. “Maybe not for something frivolous like shoes, but if my girlfriend called me up and said she needed 10k transferred ASAP? I’d do it, no questions asked. You gotta have that level of trust.”
Clearly torn between wanting to take the piss out of his friend and feeling a reluctant sort of respect, Max just grunts noncommittally in response before turning back to rewatch the clip once more.
Debate rages online among the fans about the cute interaction. Most find the whole thing adorably romantic, cooing over what a doting and generous boyfriend Charles is. They swoon at the obvious love and care between you two, speculating excitedly in the comments about when Charles might pop the question.
Others are more cynical, rolling their eyes at Charles “simping” so hard and accusing you of only dating the Ferrari driver for his money. However, these naysayers are quickly drowned out and ratio’d by your legions of adoring supporters.
Through it all, you and Charles pay the speculation little mind, blissfully wrapped up in your fairytale romance.
Charles returns home that evening to the mouthwatering aroma of his favorite pesto pasta dish wafting from the kitchen. He grins when he spots you at the stove, swaying your hips to the sultry jazz music playing from the speaker as you stir the sauce. Quietly, he comes up behind you and slips his strong arms around your waist, pressing a kiss to your temple.
“Mmm, smells amazing,” he murmurs appreciatively.
You turn in his embrace and loop your arms around his neck, smiling radiantly up at him. “Welcome home, Cha-Cha,” you greet him, using the silly pet name that never fails to make him chuckle and scrunch his nose adorably. “Dinner’s almost ready.”
“And what’s for dessert?” Charles asks with a playful waggle of his eyebrows.
Biting your lip coyly, you untangle yourself from his arms and saunter off towards the bedroom. “Come find out after we eat. Oh, and I picked up a little something special to express my gratitude for earlier ...” you call over your shoulder with a wink.
Charles’ megawatt grin could power all of Monaco for a year. Viral TikTok or not, the Monegasque knows he’s already the luckiest man in the world to have you as his partner through this crazy ride called life.
No amount of money could ever compare to the joy of being loved by you.

insane thought but vi makes you sit on her lap while you do your makeup bc she just wants to be close at all times. i’m having visions 🧙♀️ of her just resting her head on your shoulder and smiling so fondly at you in the mirror, just observing you…… ugh 😞
OKAY but can we talk about it; there's an amazing tiktoker who has a whole series on breaking down the psychology of arcane via the fights, body language, communication, etc and how that all goes towards the storytelling and they do it rly well so i'll just let you guys ruminate on the 44 part arcane series they've doNE BUT. the thing they've said over and over again about how the way vi shows love and affection is FULL HAND CONTACT, like more so than even physical touch (ALTHO IM SURE THATS AN EXTENSION OF IT YALL), it's the hand thing

SO. like college roommate!vi after you guys have made it official, and ur both going to some kind of party, and you've already done vi's make up (and gotten SUPER distracted during it because well, it ended up with you straddling her lap and basically trying very hard not to fuck up her eyeliner bc her hands were ALL OVER your thighs and waist, inching up your shirt and teasing your skin), so now you've gotta do yours, and as much as you love and adore her, you know if you ask her to do your makeup in exchange you'll end up looking like you're going to an avril lavigne concert at age 13 which is NOT always a bad thing but just not the vibe you're going for tonight right.
so imagine sitting at your vanity, her with her chin hooked over your shoulder, and her arms wrapped around your waist, your back against her chest. and she's so warm, she's always been warm, but you always notice it more when you're like this -- the contours of your body fitted so perfectly against each other, like jigsaw pieces clicking into place for the very first time and realizing that this is where they were always meant to be.
"which one -- the darker one? or the lighter one?" you ask, holding up an eyeshadow palette to show her over your shoulder. and you feel her hand twitch on your stomach, but she doesn't shift either of them, just nuzzles deeper into the crook of your neck.
"mmm... the lighter one," she says, "goes better with the dress you picked out.
you laugh, nodding, and dabbing a finger into the lighter shimmer shadow, leaning forward slightly to apply it across your eyelids. vi lets out a tiny whine as your back separates from her chest. and a second later, she's leaning forward too, chasing the contact. you cast her an exasperated smile in the mirror as she pouts at you over your shoulder.
"vi -- you're gonna make me mess up!"
"okay, okay, fine," but she's definitely still whining about it, barely letting up her hold as you shift your seat on her lap to give yourself a bit more stability as you go back to doing your makeup.
"what do you think?" you ask, pulling back and relaxing against her once more.
vi only tugs you in tighter, her fingers curled around your middle.
"i think you look beautiful, but... i always think that, so..."
you crinkle your nose, feeling a familiar heat wash into your cheeks.
"you don't think it's too much glitter?"
vi shakes her head, chuckling.
"nope. no such thing."
your lips twitch wider, "correct answer."
"mm... see? i pay attention," she says, nosing along your neck, her breath hot on your skin.
"i -- i've never said you don't!" you say, squeaking slightly as vi smirks into your shoulder.
"i know." a kiss.
"v-vi..."
"hm?" another kiss.
"what're you --"
"what's it -- look like --?" her teeth skimming along the junction of your neck.
"i-it looks like you're trying to make us even later f-for this party than we already are."
vi hums, shrugging as she sinks her teeth into your bare skin.
"well if we're already late --"
"vi! w-we promised we'd go --"
"and we will --" you feel the tips of her fingers teasing into the waistband of your sleep shorts, and you think that at least you haven't changed into your dress yet.
"we're gonna ruin our makeup!"
vi's hands pause, and a second later, she sighs, her face appearing over your shoulder in the reflected image of the mirror. she blows a strand of pink hair from her face.
"fine... but if it's a boring party --"
you roll your eyes, "we can irish exit as hard as you want."
vi's smirk smears sideways and you immediately bite down on your bottom lip.
"your words, cupcake. not mine."
you grin, leaning forward again to wing out your eyeliner and apply the most waterproof kind of mascara you can as vi watches you with indulgent eyes and a knowing smile.
in the end, you don't end up leaving the party early. but you do manage to desecrate of the bedrooms upstairs. though you only feel kinda bad for it because, well, you can't just throw a party, invite the entire girls rugby team, and not expect some level of debauchery, right?
right.

⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ so high school — ethan landry

ᡣ𐭩 word count: 2,2k
ᡣ𐭩 pairing: football player!ethan landry x tutor!fem!reader
ᡣ𐭩 summary: ethan is smitten with his tutor and invites her to his game. at the after party, he decides to finally confess his feelings.
ᡣ𐭩 content: tutor. football player. fluff. high school themes.
the radiant sunlight illuminated the side of y/n’s face, making her soft skin glow. ethan felt hypnotised, unable to look away or think about anything else other than how ethereal she looked. he should focus, the literature assignment was due soon and ethan still didn’t comprehend any of aristotle’s ideas. but hell, how was he supposed to concentrate when his tutor was so captivating?
“ethan landry if you don’t start paying attention-“ her poor attempt at pretending to be intimidating made him smile, she was so adorable.
“too much aristotle for today, let’s talk about something else.” ethan gave her his most charming smile.
“since i started tutoring you two months ago you’ve said that exact same sentence…” y/n made a deep thinking expression. “every. single. session.”
“and you oblige…” he copied her expression. “every single session”
“maybe you need a tutor with a firmer hand.” she joked.
“hey, if you want to punish me for being a bad student, i’m all for it.” he smirked mischievously
“if you want it, then it’s not a punishment. also, is that a kink of yours?” y/n smirked.
ethan gasped, and covered his mouth in an overdramatic way. “what a scandalous question! where’s the shy girl that walked into this very library two months ago?!”
y/n rolled her eyes and a small laugh escaped her mouth. “you’ve corrupted me.”
“let’s drive the conversation somewhere else. too many dirty jokes are going through my mind right now.” he shook his head. “let’s talk about tomorrow’s game.”
she cocked an eyebrow “what about it?”
“well, are you going alone or…?” he asked as if it were obvious
y/n laughed. “i’m not going with anyone.”
ethan tried his best to hide how relieved he was by that. “okay, cool. i can ask my sister to save a seat for you.”
“sorry, let me rephrase my sentence. i’m not going, period.” she said again.
ethan looked both betrayed and appalled as he exclaimed “but it’s a very important game!”
“eth, i adore you but i truly don’t care about football.”
butterflies fluttered all over his stomach at her words and his heart did cartwheels on his chest. “please come to my game, y/n/n.” his big brown eyes were pleading and she was left defenseless.
puppy brown eyes were the strongest weapon ever created, and when they came with a face like ethan’s, there was no other option but to surrender.
“ugh, fine! i’ll go.” y/n groaned and ethan started cheering loudly, causing the librarian to shush him.
“sorry, ma’am. she just gave me the best news ever and i got excited, i’ll stay quiet now. i’m sorry to disturb you.”
the librarian’s angry expression turned soft and gave the football player a ‘don’t worry’ smile. well, at least y/n wasn’t the only victim of his dangerous charm.
the worst thing was that he didn’t even do it on purpose, he just naturally exuded sweetness and you could tell he didn’t held a single malicious bone in his body.
y/n’s feelings towards him were so intense and overwhelming she didn’t know what to do with them. especially with the big question hanging over in the air—after she was done tutoring him, will he still acknowledge her?
“in all seriousness,” ethan started as they exited the library and made their way to his car “you don’t have to come to the game. i mean, i want you there but not at the expense of your comfort.”
god, he made her swoon. he was the sweetest guy she had ever met. y/n felt like she was back in high school, experimenting her first crush. “i’ll be there, i swear.”
“scout’s honor?”
“scout’s honor.” she affirmed.
he smiled, satisfied. “need a ride home?” he twirled the keys on his finger, and y/n didn’t know why, but she found it insanely sexy.
“no, thanks. i feel like walking.” she smiled. “see you tomorrow. break a leg.”
“leave my legs in peace, please. i kinda need them for the match” he said, making her laugh. heat spread through his body at the sound, ethan was so gone for her. “see you tomorrow.”
and in an act of bravery, he crouched down and pressed a soft kiss on her cheek. both teenagers went home smiling as if they had won the lottery.
y/n’s hands trembled as she followed the mass of people wearing blackmore’s football jersey. her reflects were quick enough to grab a seat near the field, and soon enough the benches were full.
she looked around the open space, seeing people talking animatedly with each other and socializing while she sat there alone, with her sweaty hands rubbing against the fabric of her emerald green jeans. she felt out of place, and the scene made her realize just how lonely she was. so immersed in getting good grades, she’d forgotten to… live. to truly let herself enjoy college in all aspects.
the only friend she had made so far was because of tutoring. if it hadn’t been because ethan was awful at literature, she would be friendless. so she sucked it up and locked away the urge to go back home. ethan wanted her there, and she didn’t want to disappoint her only friend. if this was important to him, then the bench was were she needed to be at the moment.
a hand on her shoulder brought her out of her thoughts, and when she turned her head to the side, a bit startled, finding two green eyes and bright orange hair.
“sorry! didn’t mean to scare you. y/n, right?” the gorgeous red-head asked.
shooting her eyebrows up in surprise, y/n nodded. “yes… do we know each other?”
“yes, well, no. we’ve never met, but my brother talks about you non-stop.” she smiled sweetly. “i’m quinn.”
ethan’s sister, her brain screamed, and she tried to keep her cool “oh, hi. nice to meet you.”
“ethan said, well, more like hoped, you were coming. he mentioned this was not your scene, so we saved you a seat with us so you wouldn’t be alone.”
y/n blushed and her heart melted at the thoughtfulness. she didn’t know who quinn meant by ‘we’, but she was grateful nonetheless.
ethan’s friends greeted her like she was one of their own, and they mentioned countless times how ethan would talk their ears off about her.
“there’s ethan!” tara told her, pointing at the tall man with the number 13 on his back.
ethan was always beautiful, but when he was in his element the word ‘beautiful’ felt short. she couldn’t find the words to explain just how mesmerizing ethan was in his football gear and with a cheshire cat smile on his tailored face.
the people in the stands cheered for the quarterback, and y/n joined in once the shyness faded away. then ethan caught her eye, and if he was glowing before that, now his joy was blinding.
he jogged towards her, wanting to talk to her before the game started. her heart beating faster and faster with every step he made. and when ethan reached her, they both stared at each other with love sick smiles and cheek pinks accentuated by the twinkling lights.
“you came.” he said in a mix of relief and gratefulness
“of course i did, you wanted me here, didn’t you?”
“more than anything else.” he replied sweetly. but then the coach started to yell at him to get back to the field. “sorry, gotta go. but thank you for coming, i’ll see you at the after party”
he ran back to his teammates, who greeted him with whistles and playful shoves which made ethan turn ever redder. but he didn’t care about his friends’ teasing, he was on cloud nine and he was determined to make this game the best he’s ever played. for y/n.
the stands of blackmore university erupted in cheers the second the board indicated the end of the final game of the season. the team lifted the star player of the game over their heads as they screamed in victory.
once his feet hit the floor again, ethan turned his head towards his people, to find them hugging each other enthusiastically. even y/n was embraced by his friends and that filled his heart with happiness.
“let’s go, captain. we gotta shower, then you can meet your girl.”
my girl, he replayed those words in his head. yes, that sounded just right, and he only hoped y/n agreed.
it was a little over an hour later when the team finally arrived at the party, greeted with applauses and pats on the back. the quarterback’s brown eyes scanned the crowded room, wanting to find the person he had been longing for two months exactly. he was going to do it. tonight, he was pouring his heart out.
“woah!” the boy exclaimed at the same time a familiar voice said “sorry”. they both smiled instantly when they realized they’d bumped into each other. “hi!” they said, and then laughed.
“you were amazing, ethan! my heart suffered a lot every time you were tackled, but it was quite a match.”
“thanks, y/n. i’m really happy you were there, wasn’t sure you’d show up.”
“you know i could never say no to you, ethan.” she said softly
ethan flushed and felt the courage rushing through his veins “y/n i’ve been meaning to tell you… i know we only met two months ago but-“
“ethan! the man of the hour. great game, bro!” one of his classmates interrupted, and just like that the moment was lost.
“thanks, bro.” ethan forced a smile. then took a quick look at y/n, who was standing awkwardly. “if you excuse me, we’re going to get some fresh air.” the classmate nodded and left, leaving the two of them alone again. but the courage had vanished as well as the little speech ethan had in mind. “i’m sorry about that.”
“hey, no. i get it.” she seemed sincere so ethan relaxed a bit. “what were you saying?” she asked
ethan shook his head. “i don’t want to get interrupted again, let’s go outside.”
but just when they thought they could sneak out, one of his teammates caught sight of him and yelled his name, causing the attention to fall on them.
ethan sighed in frustration, but dragged his feet towards the circle of people nonetheless, he was too good to say no. maybe that was one of his flaws.
"join us, landry" chad said
ethan and y/n sat and the boy shoot her an apologetic smile. in response, she sneakily placed her hand above his and squeezed in reasurance. "what were you doing?" ethan asked the group
"marry, kiss or kill." one of the cheerleaders answered. y/n definitely didn't like the way she smiled all flirty at ethan. "lucy, your tutor and me."
wow, dignity left the chat, y/n thought as a wave of embarrassment rushed through her body.
"where are we? in high school?" ethan rolled his eyes. "i'm not answering."
"come on, it's just a game" the blond insisted
"let's play something else" chad intervened, trying to save his friend.
"guess he didn't want to hurt his tutor's feelings" one of the cheerleaders said not to discreetly, and her friends giggled.
now y/n remembered why this wasn't her scene.
"let's play spin the bottle!" she heard tara said, but y/n was trying really hard not to show how the words had hurt. was it so crazy to think ethan could see her as more than his tutor or friend?
on the other hand, ethan was not going to let those girls humiliate y/n. besides, he wasn't ashamed to show how down bad he was for her. "you guys play, y/n and i are going outside. we have some things to talk about." ethan said with a suggestive smirk and chad whistled, making y/n's cheeks turn a deep shade of pink. she couldn't lie and say the glares she didn't feel satisfied at the glares the cheerleader threw her when ethan entwined their fingers.
"fucking finally" he said contently, sitting in a hammock. "been wanting to get you alone since i saw you standing in that bench."
she pressed her lips together, trying not to smile too wide "well, i was enjoying the view there."
"oh, yeah? what view?"
"football players in their uniforms"
ethan frown in displeasure "players? the 's' should be left out"
"it wouldn't be grammatically correct then." she teased
"hmm" he clenched his jaw
y/n laughed "i'm just messing with you, idiot." then took a deep breath before admitting, "i only have eyes for you, ever since i walked into that library two months ago, there's only been you."
he smiled like the love sick puppy y/n had turned him into and leaned down until the tip of their noses brushed. "i have been pretty obvious, but i want to be clear--i'm crazy about you. knew i wanted you since the very first day. be my girlfriend, y/n/n."
her eyes shone like fireworks. "yes, yes, yes."
"woah, okay, someone's eager." ethan teased her
"shut the fuck up."
"this is the part where i say 'make me', right? and then you kiss the fuck out of me."
"god, you're insufferable. you're lucky i like you so damn much."
"i like you, too. please put me out of my misery and kiss me." he pouted adorably.
"first you gotta answer the question"
"what?" he asked confused
"are you going to marry, kiss or kill me, landry?" she smiled
"i'm betting on all three for us two, y/n." he said, and finished melting her heart.

Haircut: Jason Todd x reader
Inspired by the post from @pop-culturereference about what Jason's fans really want from DC (link here)
***
„AH!!”
An involuntary scream left her mouth the second she came home. Jason was not used to his girlfriend being so expressive, but protective instinct kicked in as he jumped off the couch he was reading a book on and immediately rushed to her side.
“Y/N! Love, what happened?” his hands found hers, squeezing them gently, trying to ground her in reality and assure her that whatever scared her so much was no match for him.
“What happened to you?” she sobbed, not even trying to stop the tears running down her cheeks.
“Huh?” Jason frowned “Look, I know I’m not exactly model handsome, but—”
“WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!” she wailed as if someone was tearing her heart out or squeezing her lungs.
“What are you--?” he tried again, quite taken aback by the intensity of her emotions. She wasn’t ever crying this much when he came home bloodied and bruised. She never let a single muscle on her face twitch while patching him up. But when he was okay, just chilling and for once – not getting into trouble she got into a waterfall mode. “Y/n? Look at me. Look at me!” he grabbed her chin and forced her eyes on him.
“I AM!”
“Then you can see I’m all good. It’s all good! Come on baby, whatever fear took over your brain, you have to wake up from this!”
“Your hair!” she broke into crying fit again
“My hair?” he instinctively ran his fingers through his strands. “What about them?”
“WHERE IS IT?”
Oh.
Oh, so finally they were getting to the bottom of the problem.
He cut his hair shorter than she was used to and clearly she didn’t like it.
“Look, I just thought-“
“Was it Roy? I’m sure it was Roy. I swear to God, I’m gonna kill him! How is it that I leave you guys for a few hours and you always end up causing trouble.”
“It was not—”
“Then who was it? Dick?”
“Ugh! As if I would ever let him anywhere near my head!”
“Then who helped you did this atrocity?” she pressed, taking a look at his inch-long strands.
“I did it myself.” He responded, almost sounding proud.
“You-you-yourself…?” Y/N’s eyes grew wide as she stuttered. Her bag was dropped to the ground with a concerning sound of rattling, but neither of them care about the possibility of something being crashed. They had more urgent matters at the moment. The sense of betrayal slowly started creeping inside her heart.
“It’s just hair—”
“Just hair?! Are you insane?” she snapped at him “You should have asked me what I think first!”
“But—”
“Do not argue with me, Jason! You’re my boyfriend! It is not just about what you like! You can’t just act on whims without finding out my approach to the matter!”
“It’s just hair—” once more, the poor attempt at reaching her reason failed.
“How am I supposed to run my fingers through it now? And how am I supposed to live without your mop tickling me when we cuddle?”
“Y/n…” he smiled softly, cupping her cheek, meeting her eyes
“I liked them longer… I’m sorry if that hits your insecurities, but—”
“It does make me a little unsure, not gonna lie.” He chuckled. “But only a little. Cause what I’m hearing now, is that you liked my wilder look. For example when I was taking the hood off and have my hair all ruffled? Or when I was –”
“I see what you are trying to do here, Mr. Todd and I’m not falling for it.” Y/N read right through his intentions to invoke an innuendo and tried to step back.
“Come on, baby.” Jason quickly grabbed her waist, circling arms around her like two snakes, preventing her from backing out. “Admit it. You liked the bad boy image I had. It turned you on, didn’t it?”
“Well it doesn’t anymore—“
“Guess that only means, I’ll have to try twice as hard… Cause too bad for you, sunshine, my hair is gonna stay like that for a while. So you have to like it. “
“Oh really-?”
“Most definitely. In fact, I think I’m gonna ditch the longer hair for good. This kind of haircut is so much more practical, you know. No strands sticking to my forehead when we get sweaty. None of them in my eyes when I fight only in the domino mask, no tangles and all that stuff-“
“You’re terrible!”
“Yeah, yeah I am, and what are you going to do about it baby?” he smirked and leaned forward, giving her a teasing look “you love me either way, we both know it.”
“Well maybe I should cut my hair too.” Her eyes glistened with mischief “you know- to match your new style.”
“What?” Jason turned a little pale. His princess was going to get rid of her perfect locks?! Over his dead body! (Even if that meant dying again.) “You are not!”
“Too bad for you I already made that decision. In fact I’m gonna go to the hairdresser first thing tomorrow—”
“I won’t let you out of here! You can’t just make such important decisions without talking to me first!”
“But I just told you.” She fluttered her eyelashes innocently.
“And the answer is no!”
“It was not a question.”
“You are not cutting your hair. It is not only yours! It’s mine too! We’re a couple, practically like one being!”
“Well maybe if we attach some of mine to your head we can both have what we want?”
“I got a better idea. I’ll keep you trapped here for as long as mine grow back, how about that?”
“And what shall we do for so many months Mr Todd?” she hummed with a glint in her eyes.”
“Duh! I’ll make sure to convince you that the length of my hair is not the one that should be of your concern, baby…” Jason smirked letting his hoarse tone reveal what was on his mind.
Was he acting like a hypocrite? Yes.
Did she care? No.
Cause one thing that was absolutely sure about Jason Todd that there was only one like him in the world. Capable of twisting the words in a way that always turned the situation a little less serious. And whatever hairstyle he was sporting, she was not going to change him for anyone else.

★ how will people feel about you going public with your fp?
NOTE: for entertainment purposes only. take what resonates & leave what doesn't. ⭐️ i always appreciate the feedback so don't be shy. MWAH. enjoy!

PILE 1.

i feel like this relationship is going to cause quite a stir, pile 1. the energy is giving “that should be me!” lmao some people are really going to be mad as fuck. your person is going to treat you like an absolute queen and i’m hearing people scoff like “UGH!” which is crazy cause you might not even know these people, but y’alls relationship evokes this energy out of them. you (or possibly your fp) might have a narcissistic ex lurking in the shadows who constantly watches your social media & keeps tabs on y’alls relationship. it’s really weird, EW. they feel like they didn’t have you the way your person does, and it makes them really fucking jealous – it’s honestly absurd.
they fumbled you and they’re really going to regret it!especially because of how well your fp treats you & prioritizes your relationship. this ex has a BIG ass ego like the way they make everything about themselves is insane?! this person could be a fire sign – i’m picking up on some leo energy. they’re in disbelief that you moved on from them, and found someone wayyyy better that fulfills you in so many ways that they couldn’t possibly measure up to. they might create fake pages or reach out to you repeatedly trying to win you back over…it’s shameful honestly. from the outside looking in, your relationship with your fp is going to look so lowkey + private yet so warm + stable. you or your fp could have scorpio/taurus placements, but i just feel like neither of you are the type to post every single thing you do together on social media but people will know that’s YOUR FP, YOUR FP, YOUR FP! like don’t play!
y’all will make it very known that y’all are a couple, but people will not be all up in the mix because y'all simply don’t want them to be. they’ll see little hints and clues that you’re off the market, but this relationship is for you two, not everyone else. i can see you both posting things like holding hands, dinner dates, taking long walks together, an off guard while one of you is doing something, etc. just cute moments that only show a small glimpse of the immense love you two share on a day to day basis.
PILE 2.

were you split between choosing this pile and pile 1 lol? if so, check out pile 1 as well! there might be some messages in there for you too. now anyways, i’m ngl this is giving me single era vibes. you might have options and even if you don’t…you’re like “is any person really worth going public with?” LOL i get it, i really do. you’re very cautious and want to make sure that you’re not wasting your time on a relationship that you know might not last in the long run – you’d rather save yourself the embarrassment.
if you went public with someone…that means you really are committed like they REALLYYYYY won you over because you don’t pop out with just anybody! it takes a lot of effort to keep your attention, let alone gain your trust to be in a public relationship. i actually think your content with being by yourself right now. of course, you want a partner who can provide you with the best and also be loyal and committed to you.
however, you're willing to wait for that one person instead of wasting your time on others who don't meet those standards. OOOOO did some of my fellow saturnians choose this pile? this energy is amazing like seriously i’m so proud of you! you’re doing the inner work and it’s genuinely going to pay off in the long run. you’re cultivating your own happiness and building up your self-confidence. because of that, you’re going to attract a like-minded partner. you will have your desired reality, pile 2! you don’t live your life based on society’s standards and expectations. you’re on a different vibration and are attracting love, prosperity and abundance towards yourself effortlessly because you refuse to settle for less and put yourself in a box.
i know this reading is about how people will feel about you going public with you fp, but you genuinely don’t give a fuck what people think lol. people won’t even be able to form a proper opinion, because you are genuinely on a different level. i randomly just heard that one nicki minaj video when she’s like “BROKE PPL SHOULD NEVER LAUGH!” lmfaooooo i’m sorry but yeah! once you get everything you always said you would, including your fp, people are gonna be real silent no shade.
PILE 3

um pile 3 why is this energy a bit messyyyy, hold awn?! your relationship with your future partner might be different from what you perceive, or at least that’s how the public views it. take that with a grain of salt, but i feel like this relationship is going to have its ups and downs and it’s going to reflect on y’alls social medias.
you or your future partner might be the type to get emotional and act out by reposting different quotes on your IG story or tiktoks that relate to your situation, might even go as far as posting cryptic messages to allude that you two are on the outs. you and your fp know how to push each other’s buttons, and it honestly can get petty between you both. someone is not fully healed from their previous relationship in this connection & the unresolved baggage is carrying over into this one. idk, pile 3. for some of you this could be a karmic relationship and for others of you this could be baggage on your end that you need to work through in order for you to be in a stable relationship.
there seems to be a lot of wishy-washy energy, and people might perceive your relationship as having a 'one minute they're together, the next minute they're not' type of vibe. also, i’m picking up on a third-party situation where either you or your partner is keeping someone on the back burner without completely closing the door.
honestly, people might be amused by this and say things like, 'OMG, go check [Y/N]’s IG story and go see what [Y/FP] posted,' which only fuels the mind games being played. ultimately, i think this relationship will teach you about healthy boundaries and what you are and aren’t willing to tolerate, especially in public. it’s messy because this third party keeps interfering and amplifying the situation to make it worse. the ball is ultimately in your court, pile 3. you’ll know what to do.
