Dear friends,👋❤️
I am Ahmad, and I live in Gaza, where the situation is becoming more difficult day by day. The ongoing devastating war has left my family and me in dire need of support. 🙏I am a father of four children, and their safety is my top priority. Can you help us by providing our basic needs for food, water, and shelter? 🥫💧🏠 Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives and give my children hope for a better tomorrow. ❤️If you are willing to help, please contact me.Thank you for your kindness and support during these challenging times. Together, we can make a difference. 🙌
Hi Ahmad ♥️ This father of 3 has a campaign that very little has been donated to, with not a lot of traction either. Please consider donating whatever you can spare and reblog at the very least, don't hesitate!!!

Let’s see if this works!
I am 160$ short on rent at my new place. I had to move out of my last place very last minute and I managed to get into a place that is more expensive than what I was paying then, even though I barely made enough for that.
If anyone could help a man out, I just need to be able to make sure I’m not putting my roommates in a position where they are having to shell out extra money because of me.

I’m going to level with you
I am in pretty dire straights right now. I lost my job, various student loans are coming due, my car payments are overdue and I’m having serious trouble getting a job in the field I studied for. I’ve been wanting to start a writing blog like this for awhile but I’ve been letting my doubts and self worth issues hold me back from doing so. Desperation is apparently a good motivator for getting me to set my issues aside enough to actually get my rear in gear and do this. Hopefully my skill in writing and storytelling will be enough to justify some of you seeing fit to spare what you can. I’ll be putting both original writing and prompt inspired stories here. I’ll do my best to tag things appropriately in terms of both genre and content, but if I missed or overlooked something please feel free to let me know.

hey sal feel free to ignore this but i got into an argument with a zionist who claimed that arabs sold their lands to them, is this true
This is interesting, because it ignores a lot of context. Keywords to remember is the Ottoman capitulation, the Felaheen, the Sursock purchase and the eviction of Palestinians that inhabited the area at that time.
The Sursock family was a family of Aristocratic landlords with strong ties to the Turkish and European nobility dating back to the 19th century. The Sursocks were known to have mass purchased land in Palestine from the Ottoman Turks. While they were absentee landlords, they hired Arab labours who inhabited the purchased land at that time. When the Turks capitulated following WW1, the Turks were pressured into allowing the land to be sold to the PLDC, the Palestinan (later Israeli) Land Development Company. The PLDC sought to purchase the Jezreel valley, which consisted of 20-25 Arab villages, from the Sursock. . Keep in mind that the Jezreel valley was the most fertile land of Palestine and close to the economic city of Haifa. Following the mass purchase of land by the PLDC, the Jewish landbuyers expelled Arab tenants and depopulated the Arab villages despite their usufruct, and right to toll on the land. This all came as a surprise to the Arab inhabitants. This was all part of the idea that cheap Arab labour should be replaced with Jewish labour, this despite the fact that Arab labourers had greater expertise on the agricultural field; the settlers were unfamiliar with the land. Keep in mind that according to JNF, the Jewish national fund, only 3% of the Palestinian land were uncultivated, destroying the myth that the land bloomed as a result of its settler colonizers. The Hashomer Hatzaeer would come to be the center of these kibbutzim and would establish over 30 kibbutzim built ontop of the Arab villages before 1948. As a result, the Arabs, or Felaheen (The Arab peasant class) put up a resistance against the JNF out of concrete material reasons and attempted to fight back against the expansion of these kibbutzim. This was the first instance of Arab resistance against Zionism.
All of these lands were purchased before 1948 and the Arabs were expelled and depopulated only for the kibbutzim to be established with the help of the money provided by the Jewish Colonization association and its organs. However, the British mandate did not require the landowners to compensate for the expelled Arab tenants. The Arabs were forced to migrate to slums and towns. In one of these towns, a notable Syrian resistance fighter would rise up, namely, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, and declare jihad on the British. When the Arabs resisted their dispossession by every means necessary, even violence, the Zionists used this as an excuse to fortify their colonizers and expand them due to "escalating security needs". Since the colonizers were too weak to face the resistance, they turned themselves to the British to gain their support in an attempt to expand their lands as means of security for the Kibbutzim. In a memondarium written by the Kibbutz Hazora (a settlement in Jezreel) to the Jewish Agency in 1936: "Our basic demand is for our own instutions to help us ugently in getting the British authorities to expand our territory--this is a vital issue for us.". A similar pretext is used whenever the colonized put up resistance against their colonizers, in which the same excuse is used to further expand and colonize the lands. This is the logic of the oppressor in any context, whether it is colonial or in the class struggle.

Drunken Confessions
Aaron isn't a heavy drinker. Not in the sligthest. And you know that. But there was this one time he got wasted beyond belief. Though he did an amazing job of hiding it from everyone present at Dave’s party, even the team apparently. Seeing as neither of them remember this.
Having slipped away from the party at Dave's to drive a friend in a pickle home, you left with the promise of a return shortly after. However, when you returned Aaron was awaiting your return by the stairs leading up to Dave's mansion. Once he noticed you, he hurried over, taking your hands in his. His eyes intently holding yours.
"I have something I need to tell you," He confess, a trace of nervousness sprinkled over his ugent tone.
"Let's get you home." You say, not allowing room for discussion. Knowing him well enough to see that he'd had enough to drink for the evening.
"No no, please hear me out." his plead go unheard as you gently tuggs his arm in your direction. Luring him after you with the promise of hearing him out in the car.
You make sure he's seated safely before climbing into the driveseat, buckling up and pulling out of the driveway.
The streets are reminicent of the ones you see in horror movies. Deserted with a thin, growing layer of fog clouding them.
"What did you wanna tell me?"
"I.. I love you"
The confession was sudden, abrupt, but not news to you. You could feel his eyes on you, afraid of your reaction.
"I would hope so, having been married to me for three years." You chuckle, lifting your left hand to show him the wedding ring he presented you with the promise of forever, through sickness and health.
"We are married?"
"Honey, look down at your left hand."
Even though you're focusing on the road ahead you can tell that there are some wheels turning in the wonderful head of his. In your sideeye you watch him studying his own ring intently, before gazing over at yours. He remains quiet for the reminder of the car ride, trying to put two and two together, but the alcohol makes it harder than usual.
Pulling up into the driveway of your house, you stop the car. Aaron looks even deeper in thought than when you glanced over at him last. You unbuckle and walk over to his door, helping him get out. As you lean over him to unbuckle his belt you hear him murmur to himself:
"No way I scored this."

Cassiopeia A (Cas A) spans about 10 light-years and is located 11,000 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. Supernovae like the one that formed Cas A are crucial for life as we know it. They spread elements like the calcium we find in our bones and the iron in our blood across interstellar space, seeding new generations of stars and planets. The Chandra data indicate that the supernova that produced Cas A has churned out prodigious amounts of key cosmic ingredients. Cas A has dispersed about 10,000 Earth masses worth of sulfur alone, and about 20,000 Earth masses of silicon. The iron in Cas A has the mass of about 70,000 times that of the Earth, and astronomers detect a whopping one million Earth masses worth of oxygen being ejected into space from Cas A, equivalent to about three times the mass of the Sun.

I think if Roger Nores was acting in a professional capacity as sober coach or manager he might possibly be charged with abandonment although that's quite scary to me. I'm a manager and if my employer/employee was in a hotel raging on drugs and smashing up a room I would not want to be held responsible for him? Would I be? Or even a friend, there are times when someone is too out of control to reason with and if you stay you could be physically hurt yourself.
Roger was also in the hotel until 3pm when Liam was still walking around and chatting to people in the lobby.
Hi, anon!
Anyone can be charged with abandonment, regardless of the relation to the person in need of help. If you see someone OD-ing on the street you have a duty by law to help. At least that's how the laws are here. So if Roger saw that Liam was in need of ugent medical attention and he left him there alone without calling emergency services, then he could be charged with abandonment.
If someone is too out of control and in a position where they could hurt themselves, intentionally or unintentionally, you call the emergency services. That's enough, they'll tell you what to do next. If your own life is in danger you get out of there first, before calling emergency services. Getting the person who is in need of help the help they need is the important part. Calling emergency services, performing the instructions they give you, and staying with them until they arrive is always the right thing to do. If you are unsure if you should call the emergency services, the right thing is always to call them.
I saw Roger is now claiming he didn’t abandon Liam, and that he was not his manager or handler, just a friend. He's also claiming he's not the one who is charged (according to the daily mail...). I think we'll get more information later, i doubt they can keep the names of the charged persons under wraps for long.
