Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed, and I want to share a little bit of my journey with you.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place I once called home. Life was simple but beautiful. I remember sitting with my family in the evenings, drinking tea and telling stories. I remember walking through the streets, greeting neighbors, feeling like I belonged. I remember celebrating birthdays, laughing over silly jokes, and dreaming about the future.

But in the blink of an eye, everything changed. My home is gone. My family is not whole anymore. My city is unrecognizable. 💔 The streets that once felt so safe are now filled with emptiness. The laughter has been replaced with silence.

And yet, I hold onto my memories. Because memories remind me of who I am, where I come from, and what truly matters. They remind me that love, family, and connection are stronger than destruction.

If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family, tell someone you love them, appreciate the warmth of home. These small moments are what truly make life beautiful. 💙

Hello, I'm Ghada Mhasen, 20 years old, mother of a child born in war. She married shortly before the war and became pregnant a month before the war. The war came and killed my joy with my pregnancy and marriage, as we were forced to leave our house and flee. I left my belongings and things behind. I couldn't take anything. It was a difficult period with great difficulty. We found a tent to shelter my husband and me, because we had nothing. No one helped us. We tried to manage our affairs with the simplest and least things, but we also had to flee again, as we fled to Rafah. I heard the news of my house bombing and it was shocking news for me because it was all we had. My condition deteriorated and I was afraid for my unborn baby. Time passed and we tried to manage our affairs, but we almost died of hunger and almost lost my child, but thank God he remained fine. We continued to be displaced and our condition worsened. My husband and I were very tired until we visited Khan Yunis for the last time. It's time for me to have children and be born in a tent, a contaminated tent. There was no medical supplies. My condition was critical, but thanks to God, my child and I survived. Now I can't provide for his basic needs. We put below zero. I have now resorted to creating a Chuffed account to ask for help from you. Please help me, please. We need a tent to accommodate us from the winter and the needs of my child. We need food and drink. We need medicine. My husband worked hard to provide the simplest things for us, but while he was working, a wall fell on him and broke his foot. Now there's no way to help us live except for this donation link. Please save us. Please, every donation is important. It would have saved us from war, hunger and cold. We are not in one war. We are in three wars: the war of Zionism, the war of hunger and the war of cold. I ask you to save us. Every donation, up to $20, will save us from these wars. At first, I was sharing my campaign link to get the price of my destroyed house and resettle, but this is frankly difficult. So, I am now posting to collect the rent, which is only $400 a month. But in light of these conditions and after the crossing has been closed for more than 10 days, not a cup of water has entered Gaza. Therefore, I decided to publish another post to collect some money to buy some basic necessities, which have become very expensive due to the closure of the crossings. I am nedaa from the Gaza Strip. In the beginning, we lived for a short time in our house in temporary stability because our country was not a country of stability in the first place due to the ongoing wars on the Strip. My husband had a job and he had a source of income sufficient for us initially. On the seventh day of October, and on this morning, we woke up to... The beginning of this bloody war, shortly after the bombs fell on us and the disappearance of our basic needs of food, water, the necessities of life, pampers and milk, and after the bombing that hit the homes next to us, and after that we were forced to leave the house due to a ground operation and an order to evacuate the homes and the advance of tanks and shooting at us. We went out and my children and I could not. My husband and I wanted to take the most basic needs of blankets, mattresses, clothes, and food due to the lack of transportation during those difficult days. This was in the month of January, when it was winter and bitter cold. We walked long distances and were stranded until after that we were able to reach and flee to the city of Rafah, which was sparsely populated and almost Deprived of life, we were displaced to a place made up of tin, where deadly insects and germs were eating the bodies of our children. There was no water, no food, and nothing of the necessities of life. We struggled to get some food and water, and after a while, due to the severe bombing next to us, we were forced to flee again to the Khan Yunis suburbs. We were displaced inside the Khan Yunis suburbs for more than Once, due to violent bombing and shooting over our heads, we lived in tents made of cloth and wood, and my children lived through difficult days of fear and anxiety due to the intensity of the bombing. We learned during those days that our small house, which we had originally carved out of my father’s house, had been largely destroyed due to the violent bombing, and after several months. Living in tents, high heat, and the bitter cold of winter led to the withdrawal of vehicles from the areas in which we live, and we were able to reach our homes, which we were shocked by at the scene we saw of the horror of destruction caused by that war. We were forced to return to our destroyed home and set up shields to protect us from the elements of nature, and there was nothing there. Among the necessities of life, there is no food or water. The infrastructure was and still is completely destroyed, with sewage in the streets and we cannot bring water except with great difficulty. Now we are exposed to the cold and harsh winter and we need scarves and nylon to cover ourselves from the winter water. Even now we are exposed to shelling, bombs and gunfire. What is the fault of my children, Aysel? And Nidal, they live in this disastrous situation that does not provide them with the simplest basics of life, such as Pampers, milk, and all the necessities of life, and now we are living in a war of exorbitant prices in which we cannot provide the money to buy these needs, and now I am speaking to you, I and my small family are forced to ask for help from you so that we can secure a future. For my children, as we travel outside this country because of the constant wars, do not let us down and do not deprive us of your kindness and generosity.

Paladins as a nonprofit program

Many people get confused all the time by how paladins don’t need a patron god to get their powers even though they use divine magic. 

The idea was they channeled law and good itself. They were like Captain America, they would defy even their gods if they felt were wrong. However that brings up question why couldn’t other alignments channel such energy.

Well I propose an explanation that can be put in many generic settings.

While lawful good deities, demi-deities, spirits and semi-sapient concepts are in moral agreement on many things, there is still some politicking and differences of opinion that can keep them from being a unified front when acting on the material plane (each may also feel they better understand mortals than the others). They saw the need for unaffiliated nondenominational champions not beholden to any one sponsor.

To do this, they invented the paladins.

Working together they set up  and regularly donate to channels and power reserves for champions of good that followed a code; or at least divine sparks that can activate so long as the host follows a predetermined code, if you prefer that sort of metaphysics.

(This also opens up the idea of a planar adventure where you help stop an incursion on “the paladin factory”)

Imitators/expansion of the program then could in-setting lead to the current version of paladins which can be of alignments other than lawful good, or at the very least swear on oaths other than the original concept. Even chaotic good individuals can hold a factory job/ cooperate long term.

 I like to think of a meta-joke of original paladins code (of earlier editions) gave its drafters grief as much as it did roleplayers, as it was a compromise by many different entity’s setting up the program.
