Hey there, rather new fan here.

My friend, completely obsessed with Mychael showed me Mushroom Oasis and I was not dissapointed. Actually I am thrilled to see more and have a funny question as a memer, what would Mychael say if I were to take two slices of bread or toast, put his head in between and sweetly ask: "what are you?".

As far as I know, he isn't one to talk about himself much so I'm curious about the answer and reaction.

I had a cute though if it the came in my mind when reading the P2(?) Of it, Reader friend to show his approval of reader and saiki when he released his newest chapter in some of panel in the background there is this couple who is closely looks like reader and saiki or if there scene where there is desserts the most will stand out is a coffee jelly w Reader fav dessert and along with words of "coffee jelly and f/d are the finest together" (f/d = favorite dessert)

freaking out, you and immediately ran to Saiki to show him 😭💓💓

he probably already noticed if he read the book before you

In a flash there was a smile on your face as you ran over to Kusuo once again to relay the message

A little addendum to Rakha's relationship with Wyll. @rhysintherain, who has contributed a few past drabbles (here and here) to Rakha's story, and has now written a lovely little denouement from Wyll's perspective on the way their relationship ended up. And I deeply love it and am grateful to him for helping support and contribute to my girl's story over the last few months. <3

He knew what the answer would be before he asked her to follow him to Avernus. 

And partly he was telling the truth: it was selfishness to ask, a last desperate hope that she would follow him, and that she would carry a shred of sunlight from the world where he belonged into the darkness of the Hells with them.

But he knew she wouldn't. Because partly, the request had also been a test, albeit an easy test.

What felt like a lifetime ago, he’d thrown his lot in with a woman who was dangerous and unpredictable, drenched in blood and wreathed in flame. Travelling with Rakha had started out as uncomfortable but necessary. That had changed after he’d spared Karlach and faced Mizora’s wrath. It had been Rakha, after all, who had encouraged him to hear the other side of the story and question the lie he’d been fed. After that day, he’d paid closer attention, and noticed other things about her: the way she collected facts, rotating them in her mind until they made a coherent pattern; the wonder in her eyes when she watched new and complicated magics; the terrible forces that vied for her mind, and the war she waged against them in every moment. He’d seen the price she paid for every small act of compassion. Surely it would have been easier to give in, to become the beast’s willing monster, but she had still protected the Emerald Grove, still defended Isobel, when everything within her cried for blood.

And Gods only knew he’d needed someone like her. In the days after Mizora had twisted him into a devil, when he flinched from every reflection and mourned the homecoming he’d daydreamed about, he’d often wondered what the point of heroics was, for a monster like himself? What good were his best intentions, when he could so easily be made a minion of the Hells?

But then Rakha would turn, just enough to catch his eye, and he would flash her an encouraging smile, and she would defy the terrible presence in her mind and choose to help someone. For no other reason than that she could, and she chose to, and it was what he would want her to do. In those moments, her choices to do good felt like the only source of light in his world.

He knew she’d wondered why he chose to stay at her side, why he’d believed in her, even when the beast was loudest and her resistance seemed most doomed. The truth was, he’d needed her resistance as much as she needed his support. If she could overcome the beast, fight down its roaring in her mind, and still choose to be a good person, then anyone could. If she could overcome the ravings of a murderous god, then he could be the hero he always meant to be, even with Mizora whispering in his ear, even when her spite had twisted his very form. Rakha had become the woman he loved, but she’d also become his promise of redemption, his hope for a brighter future.

And today, as he woke and reluctantly left her side, he had realised that future was here. It had arrived with the rays of sunlight through the window and the hum of activity outside their window as the city - his city - started to put itself back together.

And just as surely as he knew they had made it, he knew they couldn’t face it together.

He was going to Avernus. There was no changing that. Mizora would only find more puppets, force more young, idealistic heroes into her service. Zariel would take more innocent hearts, force more unwilling soldiers into her army. There were still battles to be fought, for those with the stomach to fight them.

But Rakha didn’t have the stomach for that life. He’d seen how much she’d changed over the past days and weeks, and he’d seen the exhaustion take its toll. He’d reminded her time and again to resist the beast, to choose her own path. Now she was free to do that, how could he expect her to seek out more violence?

The question had been a test: had she changed as much as he believed she had? Had she overcome the violent urges that once consumed her? Did the ending matter to her as much as the bodies piled up along the path to it? If given the choice, would she embrace a new fight, simply to keep the blood flowing, simply to appease an indelible, inescapable violent nature?

He wanted to be heartbroken when she refused. A part of him was, certainly. But another part of him was relieved. He had worried, more times than he would ever admit, that she would never get here, that his faith had been misplaced and his hope had been in vain.

But that was not the case. The Netherbrain was defeated. Their minds and actions were their own. Bhaal’s favorite daughter had chosen peace. A devil marched to Avernus to protect innocent lives.

And any time the Hells started to feel too dark, Wyll Ravengard would think of that little smile Rakha got when she was working on interesting magic and remember that his city was protected by a sorcerer in her magic tower, and Gods help anyone who tried to break the peace she’d fought so long and hard to find.

1. Which of your fics would you keep the basic plot of but rewrite completely?

honestly i get this urge with like basically anything i wrote more than a year ago but the one that springs to mind is tinderfic ('accidentally on fire') which still sits unfinished because i lost confidence in the ending!!! and since then my characterisation has shifted some what + so has my writing style, so it's hard to contemplate finishing a finale chapter for something now that my style is such that i wouldnt be writing that way anymore. but i still really like the premise, so if i had to pick one to redo, it would be that one!

13. Rate your worldbuilding skills from 1 to 10.

im gonna say................................... 2 LOL i am a very character focused writer... and i dont have a ton of interest really in building out lore and worlds and such from scratch, i like transformative works more than i like doing original things... i can do focused worldbuilding if it's within the realm of an existing property but i think like palacefic (just creation of a specific palace) or aus like the few THG aus i have in my head only where i just have to detail out as much as is relevant to the plot is pretty much my limit. im very unlikely to get caught up in details about political systems or infrastructure or History Of Grain Harvest of a made up realm it's not really my area!! i have much admiration for people for whom it is!!!

20. Do you work on a single project or many at the same time? How does that work for you?

i will Actively work on one at a time when i lock in (fixate), but i really prefer to have many wips running at once so i can flip between them. i say prefer but i have no choice.

Ahmed @ahmednaserfamily reached out to me as he has been trying to raise funds on Tumblr for 3 months but his campaign has barely raised anything. They have been verified by gaza-evacuation-funds and gazavetters (#37). So far, only €797 has been raised of the €100,000 goal despite making the GFM months ago back in August.

They are a family of 20 approximately 20 people (details under the cut), including Ahmed's twin brother who was taken by the IOF and was released 2 months ago.

Several members of their family urgently need treatment abroad. Ahmed's son, Kenan, age 8, needs eye surgery. You can see him in this post. Ahmed's brothers Anas (29) and Zakaria (25) were also injured.

Tala, who is 12, was injured in a bombing, sustaining fractures on her third rib and on her right forearm, requiring thoracic and plastic surgery. Mahmoud, who is 2, has cleft palate and needs plastic surgery as well, as cleft palate causes feeding and speech difficulties and surgery is usually done before 2 years old, depending on the child's weight. Tala and Mahmoud are the children of Ahmed's twin brother. Ahmed sent me their medical reports which he has given me permission to post as we hope it will help boost the campaign (pictures under the cut).
