So, I learned recently about a game…it’s called “Your Boyfriend”. It’s an erotic horror game that resembles a dating simulator, but there is a lot of meta to it (think Doki Doki Literature Club but on steroids. *shot* Kidding. It’s very different from that game…but the main antagonist is still self-aware and a yandere.)

Why I was interested, not because of the yandere concept. It’s the deeper stuff with him. He isn’t just obsessed with the player and that’s all his character is. He’s a self-aware game program character but also has some interesting little fun facts about him (such as: He loves sweets, has a pet hognose snake named Rat, loves animals of all kind, enjoys classic slasher movies, etc) (Sadly none of it shown in the game so far) and is kind of…I want to say sympathy-inducing, or pitiable if that’s a better word for it. As in you can feel bad for his existence. That and the mystery surrounding what is going on with the game and him is what keeps kept me interested. (Kept being passed tense after Day 3. I haven’t completely turned my back on the official source, but I’m now more skeptical of it.)

Currently I’m not making anything exclusively for it, except maybe memes or jokes if I can’t resist anymore. But as it is a game for an 18+ audience, I’m reblogging what I find and want to comment on here because minors are not allowed to interact in even the fandom. Even if the content isn’t explicit, I’m putting it here to help keep minors away from even the tamer content.

I’ll also simply tag it “y0ur b0yfriend” too. Because that’s one of the official tags the fans use.
