Keep in mind, all of my AU Butchlander threadfics on Twitter are the unpolished first draft versions of what’ll eventually be polished up into long fics on AO3 under the Shock and Awe series. So you may regard this threadfic as an experimental first prototype and exclusive preview whose contents may or may not be changed in the future final draft version. We’re just loosely playing around with ideas and concepts for now!

A more-in-depth breakdown of the choices:

A) Tell the truth. To avoid suspicion, Billy lays low and comes up with an excuse that he's booked for the whole day plays hard to get. It'll lead to Homelander running into "William out on a date" with another Supe—and a jealous Homelander running interference lol and sabotaging it, potentially leading to a "private tour" at The Seven meeting room and some 🔞 inappropriate office s*x ;) the setting depends if I decide to have it as a Vought HQ gala event or a Capes for Christ baptism

The payoff: a lead into the investigation The con: Billy's relationship with one of his long-time regulars is irreversibly damaged (it'll come bite him in the arse much later in the threadfic)

B) Homelander wants to be his sugar daddy. So Billy wants to test that and see if he can get our caped crusader to unknowingly fund his little CIA operation by exaggerating his rent and monthly overhead costs to tug at the hero's supposed generous philanthropist heartstrings. It'll lead to the sugar baby/daddy relationship being developed more aka a lil à la Pretty Woman-styled "shopping spree" with Homelander raining gifts on Billy's head say bye bye to Billy's CIA-assigned base, potentially leading to a 🔞 scene for "William to show him his gratitude"

The payoff: a bigger base and money for a more in-depth investigation The con: Homelander will lowkey stalk monitor him, so it'll be harder to keep his covert activities a secret from him or sneak out

C) The cute "Waiting for you :)" type of option. Billy doubles down on the act and reforms himself into Homelander's dream lover. It's tooth-rotting romantic fluff and flirty back-and-forth banter between them, but keep in mind what'll happen when Homelander inevitably realizes the "William who's literally almost perfect in every way and is too good to be true" isn't actually real much much much later as a direct consequence of this early choice.

The payoff: a happy Homelander (speedrun gaining his trust and affection by taking our bbg on dates <3) The con: the future fallout (and reconciliation) will be much more dramatic

THE BELOVEDEST OF THEM ALL …… my extremely neglected best friend’s brother!kenjaku fic T_T my magnum opus even . i started writing it out a while ago but had to stop bc i can’t decide how to format it …. i think it’d be best to tell the story through a lot of flashbacks but it’s difficult to decide where to put what flashbacks in a way that doesn’t disturb the flow, yk??? but i do have everything outlined and i’m super excited to finally post it :33 someday… bfb!kenny is the actual loml i have so much lore planned for him. this fic is just a whole bunch of yearning and tension… the tiniest tiniest bit suggestive bc he truly makes me ill.

ANOTHER DEARLY BELOVED WIP that’s been rotting in my drafts for a while ….. 👉👈 i think that out of all of these fics this is the first one that i wrote the outline to?? probably even before i made this blog. it’s basically just a canon-aligned au where gojo navigates his maybe-possibly-feelings for you, a new teacher at jujutsu high!! sooo really just my attempt to write what i view as a more canon-aligned gojo and his feelings towards love :3 mostly character-centered fluff and slowburn… some office au vibes…. i’m very fond of this reader!! and i love this version of gojo so bad i really hope i can do him justice…

hello! thank you for this <3 so, lythra, redeemed(ish) dark urge, drow, evocation wizard, chaotic neutral, lv 13. personality: lythra is quiet, ambitious and insecure. she is ruthlessly pragmatic and quick to anger, but she feels things deeply. a hypocrite and a liar, she can be extremely impulsive, often to her detriment, and is plagued by guilt. her loyalty and affection, once earnt, are unwavering. aesthetic: see @saint-end 's gorgeous art below.

Hmm.. I don't like when people try to make me feel inferior or try to take away my control of the situation. For some reason, there's a foreboding feeling at the pit of Vlad's stomach. He knows he can be overprotective, with a tendency to jump to conclusions and assume the worst of any situation - something that his wife Lisa has pointed out to him on more than a few occasions. Even so, though... when he heard the crash from Adrian's room, he couldn't help but find himself rushing towards the source, quick to see if anything was wrong.

Because in the end, Adrian will always be his boy. He's not little anymore - no, he's fully capable of taking care of himself in his own right, so it's not like what Vlad had felt was panic or anything like that. But now that he's here, looking at his son face-to-face... try as he might to remain rational - his intuition is screaming at him that something is wrong.

oh for sure! it deffo goes both ways as like uhh. cq cschlatt are both some of the few characters who have canonical nods to having eating disorders so that's its own whole thing.

cq insecurities obviously cuz of the. gestures shitty little wings that don't work fucking weak as hell in general. cschlatt insecurities weakness of her body and his issues w disability. and then getting weak as hell in general.

same w uhh transgendahisms. i've talked a bit abt their textually supported transmasc transfem swagger and mm. ithink cq isn't like. too hung up on anything? i think he gets mildly dysphoric at best, like. squirmy uncomfortable if he's called a girl in a context that isn't a guy being babygirled or him asking for it. but it's rlly not that serious, it's more a deeply uncomfortable inconvenience than anything like he could walk it off in a day. for cschlatt it super is the kill myself tournament with him competing for ultimate winner BUT. he does let his guard down abt it a Little in manburg, even though he doesn't fully accept it abt herself well into revival.
