I sort of kinda blame @nayvwriter for getting me into Amelie even slightly, so I uh, did the only thing I can do as the resident ghost type and tyrant person:

IN MY DEFENSE - She's the only one /w purple eyes, and she fits the colors scheme(some veriation of white + gold + main element color + another color(usually just darker el. color, but depends) + ribbon(or another color, looking at you n2 nara. why did you mess it up-). So uh, yeah. Design.

The "You have ruined me" Durgetash but with a twist.

Gortash ruined Durge for Bhaal, making them desire something over than death and destruction, making them want something (someone) for themselves. Making them lower their defences around him and inevitably providing Orin an opening to strike (I'm a firm believer Orin shifted into Gortash to get close to Durge).

And Durge ruined Gortash for Bane, making him...dare I say a little bit soft, making him wish to SHARE power and not hoard it all in his steely grasp. Making Gotrash seek an alliance, wanting an equal. Wanting the things for himself, things what contradict what Bane tells him he should seek or want.

In the end they both are worse by that, but in the unexpected way.

Neither Gortash nor Durge are what their gods want them to be. They're traitors, if merely in thoughts, of their goals, their paths, what they were meant to be.

In the end The Absolute plot falls because mortals do what they always do: act by their own will, compromising carefully constructed plan of the gods.

Introducing.... Children of Omnicron tyrant form redesigns!

I mostly combined n1 and n2 + Just some small changes I like, and I made them more animal I guess.. ? All of them individually, as well as a silly height chart and thoughts below

Just some thoughts here:

Grunda-

Grunda's colors are a bit confusing because they changed his elemtal colors in between, so I made them the same as Metta's

I gave him lil colored spikes to spice it up AND because Nadine has them, I figured it might be cute if that's why Ventra has them,cuz Grunda is Cool. Not that she'd admit it

Ventra-

MORE RAPTOR THANK GOD. She's so weirdly humanoid??? Ross said he should be avian, that is not avian, she is raptor

I know she has golden eyes but like... She's the only one with them? It causes a bit of a color bleeding problem because she has an eye ribbon, but I'm sure it's fine

Fona-

I removed his emo phase. Seriously, why is he the only one without white?

Also Metta's ribbon is red and his glow is red but we made his lava... yellow? Quickly fixed that one-

I gave him that horse blank thingy for spicing up- He's the more horse-like between him and Deena

Nara-

I made her antlers more Deer-like. Because my friend thinks they're ears. So. Antlers.

There, she KINDA has a 3rd flower, only outlined. But it's there. Oh and that under her eye is a scar. Because she has it according to me, because it's something she had in n1 and then not in n2 so I got creative

I also made her paws white to be more hoof-like. Just overall small things I like

Arqua-

WHERE DID HER BACK FINS GO IN N2?????? She lost her legs. The heck-

Other than that they changed her colors quite a bit, even if not noticeably, otherwise I combined the 2 designs to the best of my ability

OH and Metta's ribbon is so diluted for her. The heck, her water is so much brighter-

Luxa-

So originally I made him bigger. I realized Metta would be a literal spot on the canvas, so uh, just a touch smaller

I like the n1 one more- again where do fins keep going?? I liked his dragon-esk features!

I used Metta's ribbon colors, but I made the purple just a bit brighter

Metta-

Him and his forms from here, though I haven't thought about them much so up for interpretation

Mostly took ribbon colors and changed them, because they're all very desaturated, if this is his whole gimmick, at least do it right!

Glass ball. Please get a new form in n3

I didn't do Solus because it varies from person to person almost? Like, I certainly don't imagine @/nayvwriter 's Hope and my Ariel (not written yet) to look the same in tyrant form, so it really really depends.

Even small things such as main animal focus can and should change so probably not gonna make one till JV releases n3, at least.

i will say that one thing i think is really weak about natlan are the characters. i actually like the traversals and using them, but content wise i feel like they don’t have much personality? or at the very least, the game does not set them up for you to learn more about them. i don’t know why they got rid of story quests, that was probably one of the biggest mistakes they could’ve done. the tribal chronicles don’t really give anymore information on them either, as many characters don’t appear until the last act. not to mention the quests usual surround some issue happening in the tribe which gives less focus on the characters involved. and i will say that i think mauvika is probably one of the least developed archons in design and character/personality.

@xiranjayzhao IDK if you would see this, but if you do, here's a silly idea if America existed within the word of Iron Widow/Heavenly Tyrant:

Role of the Chrysalis/Pilots: Under the control of the military. Instead of being seen as royalty, Pilots are similar to WWE stars. There are storylines, arcs, and on-screen characterizations that pilots play into for the entertainment of the everyday people. They have sponsors and endorsements same as any other celebrity. Though most pilots don't die in battle, most die from their addictions. Also same as any other celebrity.

Tributes: This is the the US. Christian Fundamentalism is baked into this country. Tributes playout similar to the Lottery. People are "randomly selected" to be raptured up to Heaven every year. In reality, the Lottery is rigged to remove potential dissidents and political rivals, with only a few random fanatics chosen to make it look legit.

Chrysalis Creatures: I initially though of the Chrysalis taking the form of either the Zodiac or Angels, but they didn't feel American enough. Then I went with the most American thing I could think of, Cryptids! Almost every state has legends of cryptids or strange creatures. The two I have so far are the pilots for the Moth Man (Camilo Esteves) and Fresno Nightcrawler (Celine Esteves).

Why anyone fights: One: because it protects everyday citizens. Two: The government offers free healthcare and free college to all pilots. BUT. You have to STAY a pilot to have access to these benefits. You also have to be 18+ to join, same as the actual military. But people can be scouted as early as 13.

Yin/Yang: Many people use the Male/Female piloting arrangement as justification for monogamy, heteronormativity, allonormativity, and amatonormativity as the natural "true state" of human relationships. Non normative relationships and pilot positioning's are frowned upon, even though research shows that it is possible. Though most pilots will marry their pilot partner, some don't. The twins Camilo and Celine Esteves both didn't marry their pilot partners. Camilo married a citizen and Celine married a sponsor. This does cause tensions, as many citizens believed that balanced partners = true love/soulmates situation. This is not helped by the fact this is how it is sold narratively to the average citizen in media.

I think it would be interesting watching Wu Zetian and her group interact with American culture. I mostly would love to see Zetian go through a mini bi-panic arc for fun!
