One finished #nivmizzet took a #wizkids Gargantuan White Dragon (one of their unpainted minis, not one of the new prepainted Ravnica minis) and painted him to be Niv-Mizzet, then I scratch built the base from recycled items and household things to be a well used #steampunk style facility. The #steamvents under his wings have glowing lights and the green goo glows in the dark. Used lots of my beloved #typhuscorrosion and #nihilakhoxide with a bit of #ryzarust because I love my #citadeltechnical paints for weathering, and I love weathering. Presenting Uncle Irvin! This @reapermini #steampunk #braininajar #miniature reminded me of the 90s French steampunk surreal movie; City of Lost Children, where there is a brain in a jar named Uncle Irvin. Wanted to have his tank full of goo, but didn't trust it to not leak, so went for the illusion of goo with #nurglesrot and #typhuscorrosion maybe the #osl on the lighting generators and lights on the lid where a bit much, but I like it. I spent too much time looking at living brain references and you can't even really see that is pink and covered in vessels, unlike a dead brain which is gray. #reaperminiatures #reapermini #bones3 #sciencefiction #fantasy #painting #geekcrafts

#wip for #kaladrax base and good lord this base is going to take forever. So much shading and highlighting in all the different types of Stone in the base, but of course this is the highlight of the base. Some ancient statue whose copper crown has long since oxidized and stained the marble.
