I like your hair when it's kinky I like it when it's an afro I like it when you have braids I like your hair when it's straight I like... I like... Me: I like diversity... As long as there is no thight protective style and less or any chemical treatment involved especially with coloring my hair. My hair keeps on growing very quick and easy but is been breaking very quick and easy as well and for that reason it stayes the same length. Some of you may know that I was making length check videos but I took a break from social a while for the following reasons: 1. A facial accident with citric acid got me demotivated (a blog about my story is about to launch) 2. A busy schedule due to moving out 3. A busy schedule due to a new job project Before I took a break I did record another length check video and then a huge part of my hard drive crashed and I will have to look if the footage survived 😅. Otherwise you will get a brand new video because I do have a hair routine secret these days I need to confess what may be partly the cause of breakage... What I would like to mention about my hair for now is that I'm still surching for the right care and since the Winter is coming and my hair is breaking very much I will leave it alone more often. A MESSY HAIR SATURDAY My hair is a complete mess these days. A lot of breakage, tangled hair that I can't fix with finger detangling and I think it's the protein in my formal products that causes it. Yet I don't know for sure what it is really but I started using the Shea Moisture low porosity products that are protein-free. The shampoo and conditioner were great not heavy on the hair and I left a bit of the conditioner inside the hair to keep it soft and used the protein-free leave-in after. Then I twisted my hair with a little bit of Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Lets see how that works out. While yesterday was all about hair, today is all about food since I'll be at a food fair with lots of vegan options. Edamame’s (soy beans).. I love them. I always have them in the house just to be sure to have a delicious guilty-free snack at home late in the evening.

I’m definitely a late evening eater. I’m trying to eat earlier and sometimes I manage but till now I get back to old habits and I eat pretty late.

HAPPINESS IS… ME TIME

I decided to take a day off from work. Monday hasn’t felt so good for ages 💃🏾 In the meanwhile I know I haven’t been posting any hair care pictures.
