last night was a rough one for me but i was cheered up by phighting midnight (before it got restricted for some reason, most likely for updates) and for the most part it was spent dancing

however out of this experience i have come to wonder what dances WERE part of the phighting world? what wasn’t? what new dances spawned from the unique culture of each faction? things i think about sometimes

me personally i find designs that are like. well we all know the tumblr sexyman style. annoying. however i do also find designs that feel like their whole basis of inspiration is spiting the tumblr sexyman style also deeply annoying. because i think neither of these really try to like. design a character. one of them is about well here's what is conventionally attractive/cool/etc. and the other also doesn't design the character it's just someone throwing rocks at the first design, not taking the character into account but just trying to win the most smugness points possible in disavowing the stereotypicality of the initial approach. is anyone out there

like, often ppl wonder if him prolonging his stay at BB isn't just his means of keeping away from opelucid, there is question if iris' rise towards becoming a gym leader and later champion impacted drayton's relationship with family or drayton himself (does he hate her? doesn't blame her? adore her like a sister? reject her out of his mind?), question about his own pride in his lineage ('dragon's blood', the way he addresses hassel) there is jsut so many ways one could approach drayton's background and how it influences his behavior it drives me n u t s

-cuphead fanfiction that i started when i was eight, suddenly remembered in 2020 and said “hey this is. pretty cool. maybe i should pick it up again”.

-rpg game inspired by utdr/ddlc/ other similar psychological horror games that explores teenage suicide and especially survivors of attempts, metaphorically told by a fantasy dimension (Eyesight)

-yet another rpg game that talks about death but in a more comical slice of life way. six characters work in an arcade/amusement park and they all die in an “accident.” they get sent to purgatory while trying to find out what the heck got them killed in the first place, and Death™️ gives them a job at an… arcade. where they experience wacky things such as victorian era cannibals and karens from 1643. customer service is still a bitch even after they die (Aftercade)

-one of my only stories that isn’t fantasy, focusing on four senior year students who all got held back for different reasons. also kinda exploring mental health issues and the school system, and how someone is even supposed to get prepared for entering Real Life after finally graduating (Hold on!)

-miraculous ladybug but it takes place in Brazil and ladybug and chat noir are in lesbians with each other. i don’t know why i started that. it was meant as a joke. i can’t stop writing for these stupid characters now.

-local alt girl who gets bullied accidentally finds an ancient book about demons. girl gets involved with said demons. what the fuck guys i was just chilling in the library. magic glass gives her cool powers. seriously why is your face melting are you ok (Demonology)

-one time silver played People Playground and got attached to three humans and decided to write a story about it. it’s stupid. i love it.

-one time silver played Rogue Soul, Rogue Soul 2, Swords and Souls and Swords and Souls: Neverseen and got attached to the main characters and decided to write a story about it. it’s stupid. i hate it.

-Be me, bored as hell during the pandemic so you decide to make a gacha story. abandon said gacha story. two years later you find screenshots in your google drive and say “hah that’s cringe.” return one year later and say “no wait this is actually banging if i make some adjustments���

my attempt at mapping the wagstaff schoolgrounds using what we've been shown throughout the series. its probably not 100% accurate (i merged both playgrounds into one bcuz there wasn't physically room for two playgrounds at the school but both are consistently shown) but unless we get a birds eye view of wagstaff its the closest we're gonna get??

the parking lot is most likely faculty-only and the parents have a drop off/pick up area up by the front of the school, but i suspect due to its location that most kids attending wagstaff either walk or take the bus
