the drummer
Tumblr media
pairing: bakugou katsuki x gn!reader
word count: 3k
a/n: this was made due to my newfound infatuation with the band babymetal and their music everyone say thank you babymetal
content: fluff, no quirks au, rock band au, bakusquad (excluding mina, sorry!!) as a band, metal concerts: loud sounds, crowds, mosh pits, etc., swearing, side ships: kamijirou and kirimina, bakugou calls reader “sweetheart” and i think that’s everything
analysis: you attend a metal concert for the first time with your friends. and while you don’t usually listen to rock often, maybe the drummer can change your mind.
———
you like to say you have a wide variety when it comes to your taste in music. music is beautiful, after all—it could bring people from all over the world together, whether they understood the language of the songs or not.
you listen to a bit of everything; a bit of the usual stuff that plays on the radio to pass time in the car, a little bit of pop, some rnb, a hint of rap, a dash of country, etc.
though—the only real exposure you have had to the rock and metal genre was through your current roommate.
but when said roommate nearly screams the roof of your shared apartment off one day, you barrel into her room thinking she had seriously gotten hurt—only to be met with the news of something else.
“jirou kyoka!” you scold her after heaving out a sigh of relief when you find her just sitting on her bed, laptop in her hands. “you scared me half to death! i thought something happened!”
“something did happen,” the short-haired girl retorts giddily as she displays the screen towards you. “one of my favorite bands is having a concert near us!”
and when she thrusts the screen towards you, you catch sight of some somewhat familiar faces—there’s a spiky redhead with a contagious smile on the bass, and a guy with short black hair on the keyboards. there seem to be two blondes, but the difference between them is that the one playing the guitar, who also looks like he’s the singer, has a flirty look on his face while the red-eyed man on the drums has a handsome yet threatening scowl twisted on his lips.
the only reason you’re able to recognize them is because jirou’s has shown you some of their music before. “oh.” your unenthusiastic reaction has her rolling her eyes as she faces her laptop back towards her.
you chuckle a little and sit beside her, making yourself comfy on the mattress. “no, seriously, that’s exciting, jirou!” you declare with a nod, “i’m happy for you! you just screamed really loud.”
she touches her fingers together, still looking away in embarrassment. “ah, right. sorry about that.”
you coo and bring her in for a side hug. the onyx-eyed girl can be a little shy sometimes, and it had taken a while for her to open up to you despite living together. “no, no- it’s okay! y’know i don’t listen to a lot of that kinda stuff but.. when’s the concert? did you buy tickets yet?”
when jirou visibly brightens up, you grin to yourself. she’s so passionate about music sometimes; it’s endearing to see. “concert’s in a couple of weeks. and no, haven’t bought tickets yet.”
you blink and laugh. “well, why haven’t you? you should before they get all sold out, right?”
as if you had reminded her, she yelps and her fingers start tapping away on the keyboard. “ah, you’re right. they can sell out pretty fast.”
you eye the screen once again, tracing your stare over the band members out of curiosity as she gets ready to buy said tickets. really, you have no idea where you’re going with this but— “how about i come with you?”
her fingers freeze and she stares at you in surprise. “really? are you sure?” she questions, tilting her head. “like you just said, you don’t really listen to this kind of music.”
you shrug. “well, it’ll be a new experience for me. you only live once, right?” and then you quickly add, “and i can help you pay too!”
kyoka genuinely seems thrilled by your decision, but her fingers still hover over the mousepad. “are you sure?”
before you can change your mind, you insist with a laugh. “jirou, i’m positive.” you fish out your phone from your pocket to go over a calendar. “we’re both free that day, i can help pay for the tickets, and you won’t have to be alone during the concert—so it’ll be safer for you, yeah?”
jirou starts twiddling with her fingers again. “i was actually gonna invite mina with me. she doesn’t listen to them as much as i do but she’s got a thing for the bassist.” she rolls her eyes with a fond scoff.
you glare at her playfully. “hey, i barely listen to them but don’t you got a thing for the blonde guitarist?” you tease.
when you see her blush and start to deny you, you laugh. “relax, jirou, i’m teasing. and we can still invite mina. i’m sure she’d love to go with us.”
jirou nods, smiling. “alright. it’ll be the three of us then.”
she clicks and confirms the purchase, sealing yourself a metal concert in a couple weeks.
except.. it doesn’t turn out to be the three of you. trust me, mina had been overjoyed to receive the news that the two of you had gotten her tickets. in fact, she had been so delighted that she had invited some of her other friends, and then their friends were invited, and- yeah. (you’re not too entirely sure how everyone managed to get tickets in time but you deduce not to question it.)
it’s the night of the concert, and after a thirty minute drive, you finally arrive at the designated arena. (jirou and mina had played some of the band’s music to familiarize you with some songs—there were a few catchy ones.)
the rest of your party had come in separate rides, so as the three of you exit mina’s car, they wave you down in excitement.
“it’s loud,” you state bluntly as your friends start their way to the arena entrance. you’re not even in the damn arena and it’s loud—the concert hasn’t even started yet.
“it’s only gonna get louder, babe,” mina says with a good-natured grin. “too late to turn back now!”
“i know, i know!” you laugh, trying to relax your nerves. you’re a bit nervous, sure—but you can’t deny that you’re also a little excited. “i’m not backing out, don’t worry.”
jirou tugs at your arm from her spot beside you. “if anything, you can leave early. wait for us in the car. metal concerts can get.. intense sometimes. i won’t be offended or anything.”
you shoot your roommate a relieved smile. “i’ll keep that in mind, thanks. but hopefully it doesn’t come to that. this’ll be fun!”
your optimism remains even as you file into the arena, looking for a spot. part of your group wants to score a place in the potential mosh pit, but with jirou and mina knowing it’s your first time, some decide to linger somewhere on the side. with this, your group decides to split up.
“don’t you guys wanna head into the- mosh pit?” you ask the two girls, feeling a bit guilty. “isn’t that closer to the stage? i feel really bad holding you guys back.”
mina waves a hand at you in dismissal. “no, don’t worry about it! i want a spot closer to the bar. and while being the mosh pit is fun, i’d rather not get ‘accidentally’ groped tonight.”
you blink at her and simply nod in acknowledgment. “ah, right, okay.” jirou nods alongside you.
the three of you grab some drinks and chat around while the arena continues to fill up. you had been eyeing the rest of your group making camp on the floor until you lose them once more people flood in.
the opening act starts and it’s another rock band. definitely a lesser known group, but their music is a good mood starter for the concert, it seems.
another thirty minutes pass by and it’s finally time for the main act of the band everyone’s been waiting for to make an appearance.
there’s the sound of the music starting and it’s as if it shakes the entire building—the crowd roars in anticipation.
a rough voice echoes throughout the arena and then the beat of drums pulses through the floor.
“LET’S FUCKING GOOO!”
and just like that, fireworks burst from the stage and the lights are on, focused on the band and you can spot the four members playing their respective instruments.
before you know it, you see jirou and mina jumping with the rest of the crowd, screaming their throats alongside the singer as he strums the strings of his guitar.
you find yourself enjoying yourself too! it’s amazing to see them play the first few songs back to back with no break—they’re quite the entertainment.
after the third or fourth song though, they seem to take a breather. “hello everyone!” the lead guitarist speaks into his mic. “you all having fun so far?”
the crowd answers with cheers and you can’t help but laugh as your two companions join them.
“i’m kaminari denki!” the singer introduces himself. jirou lets out a few cheers as the blonde lifts a hand up to his ear as if to bask in the crowd’s noise. and then he continues on to the other members. “our bassist, kirishima eijirou!”
“hey, everyone!” the redhead plays a few notes on the bass as the crowd cheers again—you and jirou share an amused look when mina squeals at the top of her lungs.
“on the keys, hanta serooo!” kaminari whoops out, and the fans join in again in another roar. the short-haired man plays for a bit, laughing a greeting, “good evening!”
“aaaand on the drums…” kaminari finishes up, imitating playing the drums with his hands with a grin, “our amazing kacchan!”
“it’s bakugou katsuki, dunce face!” the drummer snaps, his voice booming on the mic—and you recognize his voice from the beginning of the concert. there’s a few snickers and laughs from the crowd—you included—and bakugou plays for a few seconds.
displayed on the large screens behind and next to the stage, you can see the drummer’s features a bit despite the somewhat darkened lighting. “alright, fuckers!” he yells out once he’s done, “you ready for more?”
this time, you find yourself screaming alongside your two friends in eagerness and the concert continues as they play some more songs. during the short intermission, you head out for a quick bathroom break. when you return, you see jirou is the only one left in your previous spot.
“mina went into the mosh pit!” jirou explains as one song transitions into another. she points over to the rushing crowd and you look to the sea of people jamming out more aggressively, a few crowd-surfers here and there.
“oh, okay!” you answer back. you go back to jamming with your friend, genuinely enjoying yourself. (any time you see the drummer on the screen for a few seconds, you can’t find it in yourself to look away.)
and the night rages on. there some people headbanging so hard to the point where you were sure they were going to fling their heart out of their throats, but all in all, you were having fun.
it’s nearing the encore when you decide the pounding and rumbling of the arena is starting to become a bit much. “hey, jirou!” you shout over the music, “i’m gonna head back to the car!”
kyoka looks to you with slight concern. “want me to walk back with you?” she offers in a raised voice to match yours. her eyes flicker from the stage to you.
“no, no!” you’re quick to protest and decline, “enjoy the end of the concert- i know you don’t wanna miss it! i’ll be fine on my own, don’t worry!”
hesitantly, she gives you a thumbs up. you give her a quick hug before you start trudging away from her and through the rows and rows of people.
music continues to blast through the arena, and you’re sure that your ears are going to be ringing for the remainder of the night. but you suppose that’s what happens when you attend a metal concert out of all things. (it had been fun, for the most part, but you think that’s enough metal for one night.)
the blinding lights from the stage are flashing everywhere, probably more intense since it’s almost the end of the concert. it’s a bit difficult to see your surroundings very clearly for anything longer than five seconds, but you manage to stumble out of your section of the crowd on your own two feet, save for a few bumps into some people here and there.
you don’t know where the rest of your group is—though, you’re sure they’re probably getting trampled over in the mosh pit running circles in a certain area of the floor space in the peripheral of your eye. (yeah, there’s no way you’re taking place in that. hopefully mina’s alright!)
you continue following the signs that supposedly lead to the exit. getting out early can give you a head start and avoid any more crowds that would definitely get messier on the way out.
you follow down the railing and that’s when the arena darkens suddenly. they must be getting ready for the finale—so you whip your phone out to act as your flashlight to keep walking.
wait a minute. there’s only few people back here, so that must mean you’re heading in the right direction, but then—hold on. you’re backstage.
the security isn’t at its best, it seems. or maybe they’re slacking. who knows—either way, you’re not where you’re supposed to be, that’s for certain. you can see the back of the stage set up from here; there’s a few uniformed people working on what seems to be the lighting and shit. oh yeah—definitely not the exit.
maybe you can ask for directions? oh, how embarrassing… maybe you should’ve stayed with jirou until the end of the concert and walked back with her.
just- just follow the sound of yelling and screaming! obviously—that’s where the crowd is, so you can easily find the actual way out by listening to the roar of the fans.
and then they get louder and—the sound of the last of the commercial fireworks sizzles through the air and the closing music comes to an end. oh shit. the concert has ended.
that seals it for you: you’re going to head over to some staff person and—oh yeah, that one right there, standing near the small stairs, and ask politely for the actual exit.
and then the lights go out again—plunging you in darkness, save for the few lights from above and flickering from the side, and then you walk right into a solid chest.
“the hell?” a gruff voice erupts from in front of you, and it sounds familiar. the lights return and it takes you less than three seconds to register that you’re staring up at the drummer.
“fuckin’- goddammit, kiri!” the blonde scowls, turning his red glare to the guitarist coming down the stage stairs, “some fan got into the back again!”
kirishima is wiping the sweat off his brow when he catches sight of you, and he seems surprised. “huh? oh shit-”
you panic. what if you get into some serious trouble for this? what if they sue you? so you splutter out frantically without thinking, “i’m- i’m not a fan!”
bakugou brings his gaze back to you at your words, all confused, judging by the way he raises a brow at you. and when his stare lingers, you realize he’s actually taking the time to look at you.
he clicks his tongue and repeats your words. “not a fan, huh?”
fuck, that sounds rude, doesn’t it? “no! i mean- yes! i mean—i’ve never really listened to your guys’ music but i came along with my friends! but then i decided to leave a little early and just ended up getting lost and-”
the redhead comes to stand next to bakugou with a laugh. “relax, relax. we hear ya,” he reassures you with a toothy grin. “mistakes happen!”
you let out a sigh of relief, smiling gratefully at kirishima. “right. i didn’t think wandering backstage could happen but.. sounds like it has before?” you laugh, referring to bakugou’s previous words as you look to the drummer.
oh god. the tank top hangs loosely off bakugou’s broad shoulders as his skin glistens with sweat. you can now see his legs that are clad in black ripped jeans, not hidden behind the drum set. a screen, no matter how huge, doesn’t do him justice. he’s so damn beautiful up close.
what makes matters even worse is that he’s staring right at you.
you nearly let out a squeak of surprise from the sheer intensity of his gaze, instead glancing back to kirishima nervously since he continues talking anyway.
“ah yeah, sometimes,” the guitarist chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. “not too often but- it definitely happens way more than it should. you’re okay though, really!”
you nod with a small smile, fiddling with your hands. you sneak a look back at the drummer, and you realize with a start that he hasn’t torn his eyes off you.
“not a fan?” bakugou repeats again in a drawl, cocking his head to the side and taking a step towards you.
you blink at him, a little confused, a little flustered. “um, well-”
“alright, sweetheart,” bakugou then huffs, catching you by surprise—are you hearing him right? but then the smirk he gives you makes you wanna melt into the floor. “let’s see if i can make you a fan before the next concert, yeah?”
———
the roar of the crowd is something you welcome, relishing in the noise the eager fans make as they wait for the concert to start. you don’t have a good view backstage, but there’s something you need to do first before you head to your reserved section.
sero and denki are the first to head up. the blonde adjusts his guitar and dashes out onto the stage, blowing jirou a flying kiss to which she rolls her eyes at but catches nonetheless.
kirishima strolls after the two of his band mates onto the stage, but not before he gives mina a squeezing hug paired with some laughter.
bakugou is the last one to walk up, and he approaches you with that same damned smirk of his that had made you give him your number not too long ago.
“i’m waiting, sweetheart,” katsuki snickers at you, raising a brow expectantly.
you glare at him playfully, and before he can sneak in another word, you grab the front of his stupid tank top and pull him down for a kiss.
(yeah, he had made you a fan.)

The service industry is less than formal. There’s not much red tape in the hiring process and less administrative restraints. So, after a short video interview with Sif, you accept a job for the weekend. It’s not entirely your choice of venue, a yacht, but the pay even before gratuity is enough to convince you.
More peculiar about the job is that it’s not a single night. You’re slated to work through the weekend at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It beats handing out shots to tipsy coeds; these wealthy investors will have deeper pockets.
So much for being destitute all at the whim of that snake. It’s the nature of the business. Gigs don’t last long and when they do, you’re miserable. If it was up to you, you’d be working at one of the upscale cocktail bars in the downtown core but they rarely open up applications.
You pack a bag and take your time getting ready. There’s a dress code of course. All black, no pants. You know these sorts of events. They only hire women and their purpose is more than serving, they have to be nice to look at. Well, you can doll yourself up.
You put on a sleek halter blouses with a leather skirt. You’ll sweat your ass off but it’s what you got. You have just enough outfits to last you through two days. Oh, and some anti-nausea meds to counteract the sea sickness.
The job will reimburse you for the cost of the uber. You don’t think you’ve ever been to the dock. You weren’t a part of the college crowd with their party boats and aren’t generally a fan of being on the water. You tip the driver on your phone as you get out and look around.
There are two other girls in black hovering around. You approach them, assuming they're in the same boat as you. The pun barely worth thinking.
“Hey, um, are you meeting Sif?” You ask.
“You must be the new girl,” they look at you with their drawn on brows, “Tara,” the tall redhead introduces herself.
“Zadie,” the shorter woman with the spiral curls flicks her lashes derisively.
You offer your name in return, sensing their coolness. They’ve worked together a while, that means you’re the rookie, you have to prove yourself. That isn’t difficult, you have faith in your own skills.
“You’re pretty,” Tara preens, “love the gloss.”
“Thanks,” you accept the compliment.
“I could never pull that shade off,” she continues, “very harsh.”
You nod and force a smile. You’re sure that is only the beginning of your act. You shoulder your bag and turn on your heel listlessly. You’re not here to make friends.
“Girls,” Sif’s heels draw your attention as they click across the dock, “thank you for waiting. The captain was a bit late with his safety review. Ugh, so we have to hurry with set up. The investors will be arriving shortly. Can’t have you standing out here like a bunch of stray cats.”
“What happened to Katie?” Zadie asks as she steps forward first.
“She’s at her sister’s wedding,” Sif returns smoothly, “don’t worry, she’s vetted and very capable,” the dark haired woman gives you an appraising look, “you might learn a few things, Zee.”
Zadie rolls her eyes and Tara grins over her shoulder, trying to hide her amusement. You shrug and follow them towards the boarding ramp. Right, just don’t think about the water.
🍸
The boat is a flurry. After you are shown your cramped cabin, leaving your bag on the bed, you are taken to the gala deck. There, you are acquainted with the bar and set to your prep. The familiarity of the work welcomes you in and your nerves calm even as the subtle swell of the water rocks the ship.
As you work in tandem with the other girls, the lights adjust and music begins to waft around the space. You look out at the tables, set and ready for diners. It seems a rather overdone event. You’re not sure if you had yacht money, you would waste it on these pompous displays. Maybe that’s why you don’t have any money.
The first investors begin to trickle in. You hear Sif’s voice rise above the building din as she beckons them in and shows them their seats. Some sort of auction for charity. Funny, how these things are always fundraisers…
As the crowd burgeons in, the first patrons of the night come by the bar. Tara elbows past you to take the lead. You let her. You know her type. They approach the job like a competition. No use playing that game.
“Miss, a drink,” you hear from your left. You turn to greet the man, his silty tone only registering once you face him. Loki smirks as he drapes his arm over the trim, “I believe you know my preference.”
You withhold a scowl. You don’t know how to respond. You can’t scream at him so you turn and begin to put together a dry martini. You feel him watching you. Of course, he’s one of them.
“Mr. Laufeyson,” Zadie comes up behind you, “nice to see you.”
“You too,” he says silkily.
“Hon, why don’t you let me take over for Mr. Laufeyson?” She offers as she touches your arm.
“She’s got it,” he shoos her with his fingers.
You present him the tall glass and meet his eye. He watches you with that imperious gloating grin. He reaches for it, sliding it closer with two fingers around the stem.
“Now I should be suitably bolstered to face my guests,” he declares. You squint at him, his guests? “Darling, should you require anything, you know you only need ask. I do take pride in accommodating my staff well.”
You blink, lips sealed and tight. His eyes rove up and down as he lifts his martini, “cheers.” He takes a sip and winks, before spinning on his heel and strutting off. You should’ve known it was all too easy.

Stranger Things Femslash Week Moodboard:
Barb Holland x Chrissy Cunningham, 80s Gay Culture
                                                           ___
Barb knows she needs to leave Hawkins the minute she graduates high school. The second she turns 18, if possible. She survived the monsters and the mundane horrors of this town, and now she wants out. She never wants to wear pink or ruffles again.
Chrissy is 17 when she drops out of school. She can’t handle living a lie for a moment longer, and her demons are only ever going to leave her alone if she makes herself disappear. So Chrissy hitches a ride with her next door neighbor and childhood friend, Barb, who’s leaving for New York, and she doesn’t look back.
In the city there are mixtapes and gay bars and comics from the feminist bookstore. There are more queer people than either girl has ever seen in her life, and they’re all more haunted by the specter of death than two girls from Hawkins have ever been. There is activism and protest and darkness; there is sunlight and sex and love. Barb helps Chrissy chop off her hair for the first time in her life, and both when it’s gone and when it grows back, it truly feels like her own in a way it never has before.
Barb and Chrissy carry each other through the dark times, understand each other on a level they share with no one else. They witness the end of the 80s, in the city they’ve adopted as home. There are years on years stretching ahead of them. And together, they live. They live. They live.
                                                           ___
Written/created for @strangerthingsfemslashweek Day 3. Also on AO3 here.
Image Description: A moodboard for the romantic ship between Barb Holland and Chrissy Cunningham, in an AU where they get to experience 80s gay culture together. Top row: A black “SILENCE = DEATH” button with a pink triangle on it, pinned to blue denim; a group of people at a Pride event and/or protest, one of whom holds a cardboard sign with the rainbow letters “Life is short. Be as QUEER as you want”; a neon sign shaped like a rainbow, on a black background. Middle row: A variant cover art for the comic Dykes to Watch Out For, with three butch-of-center lesbians drawn in black lineart on an orange background, with the title in white letters across the middle; a picture of two redheaded young women, one resting her chin on the other’s shoulder, both wearing bright red shirts; two see-through cassette tapes with grey tape inside and a tan tape label on one reading “LOVE SONGS”. Bottom row: A dark city block with purple neon lights, including one sign saying “Cadillac Lounge” in cursive letters; a cross-section of bright red fruit with seeds in the middle, looking rather yonic; a bright red neon sign on a brick backdrop, reading “We’re Not In Kansas Anymore”.

I wanna talk about my headcanons for PeterJonElias because it's fun, and I have been posting a lot for the tag, so I am allowed. This can be read as projection, or it can be read as just headcanons.
Jon: short, thin, British-Indian, and either non-binary or somewhere around there, with long greying brown hair. They/he/it Jon who is confident in their inhumanity. I also believe in monster Jon. He gave up on preserving his humanity, and it was gifted a giant spinx-type form that is fluffy and has black and green coloring. Brown eyes that kinda go green in the light. They are huge on physical touch and just generally spending time with their partners. It doesn't have to talk to them. He just wants to know they are there. I also headcanon autistic Jon because I am autistic, and I say so. Jon can go between the full Archive Monster form and the human form. However, they prefer one or the other. Jon, of course, is 29-30. Old Lady Hobbies.
Elias/Jonah: I am partial to Jonah being a long-haired trans redhead. She was a pretty little bastard who had men wrapped around his finger, and she knew it. Elias, however, has slightly more muscle, taller but not much, brown hair, and some graying in it. He's a rich twunk. Also, he/she Jonah, I've seen someone making content for transfem Jonah lately, and I love it. Jonah is some flavour of trans, and idc which. Elias has tanned skin, and Jonah was pale as hell. She is a cuddle person. He is a little possessive but would 100% give up on a relationship out of pure curiosity. She likes watching her partners and just knowing the things they enjoy and the little details that make them who they are. Jonah just has his many eyes, and he's happy with that. Elias is 48, Jonah is 245.
Peter: Blue eyes, pale skin, longer white hair. He is around 45 but looks closer to the late 30s range. He's fat, and he's taller, and he takes advantage of it. There's a document one of his husbands wants? Too bad, it's on the fridge now. He just likes having something to miss because he feels like it makes him closer to his God. He didn't pick his partners. He was half roped into dating James, and then James became Elias, and Elias brought in Jon. He doesn't know how this happened, but he's fine with it. He will also occasionally, and without warning, give them random gifts. It will just be there, no context, and no explanation. I also like Peter being autistic.
Peter kinda just drags the other two into his lap for quiet cuddles. Jon plays a stupid game on his phone, might occasionally get him to look at something, or just leaves him 'alone' completely. They both have artsy projects they enjoy as well. Jon can quietly sit crocheting something while Peter sits and makes a Ship In A Bottle or something. They can just sit and enjoy each other's company while staying silent. Elias will hang out with them but needs to either lay on someone or be active in a conversation with someone. No one is allowed to forget that she is there. He always wants one person's eye on him. Elias might put on an inaccurate documentary just so that she can yell at the TV about it and to make sure they know he is there. Elias likes being seen.
This is all for now, but I love the three of them, and they deserve to be awful and love each other over it.
Let me know if anything is written weird or doesn't make sense, and I will try to clarify it. :)

*trips and 2K words fall out - hope I did right by you @piratefishmama *
Link to Part 2!
Steve Harrington didn’t get flustered.
Like, ever.
Call it dedication to his work, call it “a sign of growth” (Nancy’s words), call it “being-a-reformed-manwhore” (Robin’s words), but Steve knew how to keep his head and stay calm even in the tensest of situations.
He hadn’t always been this way; the Steve of old, i.e. the Steve from Hawkins High School, had been a notorious ass-kisser, using his wiles and charms to get whatever he wanted from whomever he wanted. (A coping mechanism ingrained in him at a young age due to ill-attentive parents and stemming from his own feelings of self-hatred and lack of worth, according to his therapist Cindy. She was brutal but man, she always hit the nail on the head.) But somewhere along the line – falling in love with Nancy, being dumped by Nancy, and then meeting a clumsy redhead named Robin during his second week of paramedic training – he’d learned that he didn’t have to put on a façade to make people care or love him; being Steve was enough, and when he realized that? Game changer. Ten years removed from high school and he really, truly loved his life in a way that he’d never imagined he would as a douchey-seventeen-year-old.
Did he still turn on the charm with people? Of course. But it was never because he was using someone else. It was because he wanted to make them smile, or show that he cared, or help them remain calm in the midst of a high-stress event. And, not to brag or anything, but he knew how to flirt when he met someone he wanted to try dating. He knew all the tricks in the bag, he knew how to play the game, and he always came out on top.
Had he been on any dates in the last few years? No, not really, but he wasn’t looking for hook-ups anymore Robin, and no, it wasn’t because his skills were falling out of use or whatever. He just hadn’t met the right person, but when he did? Please, his future boyfriend/girlfriend/partner would have had no idea what hit them.
At least, that was Steve’s rationale up until this morning. That was before he and Robin were called out to Lollapalooza to get some guy who’d tried crowd-surfing shipped off to the hospital.
That was before he’d laid eyes on Steve and started flirting like his goddamn life depended on it.

“Good afternoon, sir. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?”
The guy is laid out on the ground, surrounded by empty beer cans and cigarette butts. His security team has managed to get everybody out of the way, which is a miracle in and of itself because good god, the festival grounds are absolutely jam-packed with all kinds of intoxicated people. (He must be really famous to have a security that large and that good to get that done.)
The guy blinks up at him, making a questioning sound. “Whuh?”
Steve shoots a look at Robin, who nods before motioning for Dan and Sarah to grab the gurney. This guy was definitely going to need the hospital. “Okay, sir, what is your name?”
“Ed – don’t you know it? You should know it,” the man slurs out, his eyes slowly focusing in on Steve.
“Um,” Steve shoots another look at Robin, “I’m sorry, sir, but I’m going to need you to give us your name.”
“It should be on your list, right?” The man waves his hand. “Ya know, your list at the pearly gates.”
A loud sigh issues from above him and Steve glanced up to see another guy with short, curly hair sighing down at the prone man. “You’re not dead, man.”
(Steve glances between the two quickly; they’re both dressed in leather pants, although standing guy is wearing a black tee that has the sleeves ripped off while his patient is shirtless. And covered in tattoos. And wearing eyeliner. And whose hair was long and luscious looking and fuck, he’s hot, he’s really, really hot.
Shit.)
The man on the ground shakes his head and then winces at the movement. “Nuh uh, no way man, I’m gone,” he sighed out. “I’m seeing angels, Gare.”
“You’re seeing – oh, you’ve got to be kidding me,” the standing man – Gare? – lets out a loud groan. “Seriously, Eddie?”
“Your name is Eddie, then?” Steve jumps in, and the lying man – Eddie’s – eyes lazily fall back on Steve. Their eyes are locked now and Eddie starts to smile, and his smile is wide and bright and oh fuck, keep it together Steve.
“O, speak again, bright angel, for thou art as glorious to this night, being o'er my head, as is a winged messenger of heaven, unto the white-upturned wond'ring eyes of mortals fall back to gaze on him,” Eddie says, gesturing wildly at Steve, his hand reaching for Steve’s cheek. Steve darts out of the way and Eddie frowns (adorably), his hand falling back onto the ground.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“Huh,” Robin pops up to his right. “Well, he’s definitely concussed, but he can still recite Shakespeare, so that seems like a good sign. I still think we should take him in.”
“I - ” Steve is going to say something, he really is, but in the minute he looks away from Robin, a hand covered in rings grabs onto his and yanks and he falls forward, barely managing from landing on top of Eddie.
“Did you fall just for me, angel?” Eddie smirks at him and shoots him another wink.
“God, please take him in,” he hears Gare speak above him, and Steve barely manages to extract his hand from Eddie’s and push himself up and away.
(It’s just some flirting, Harrington. You’re, like, the King of Flirting. You can handle this.)
/////
Steve, actually, cannot handle this.
Getting Eddie onto the gurney was a process, mainly because Eddie kept trying to grab Steve’s hand and would make crying sounds every time he missed. And not only that, he kept up a steady stream of lines – like, man, Steve thought he had lines, but these were ridiculous.
Hey, can you take off your clothes for me? I want to see how an angel hides its wings.
Is that a ladder in your pants or are you a stairway to heaven?
Hey Gare, how do I ask God’s permission to marry one of his angels?
His friend Gare – Gareth, he’d clarified – just stood around and apologized as they loaded Eddie up into the ambulance. He at least had a modicum of professionalism; Robin couldn’t stop snickering at Steve’s plight and more than that, she egged Eddie on, telling him all kinds of personal information about Steve.
“The only wings he has are the butterfly wings of his tramp stamp, bud,” Robin says when Eddie asks about Steve’s wings again.
Eddie gasps and reaches for Steve (who is trying and failing to get an IV drip going). “Fuck, angel, it’s like you were made for me. My angel,” he murmurs out, and when Steve shifts out of his reach, the guy has the audacity to actually start tearing up.
“Dingus, hold his hand,” Robin hisses from the other side of the ambulance.
“I’m trying to get his IV hooked up, Rob,” Steve hisses back. He barely suppresses a yelp when one of Eddie’s hands slides up his thighs towards his waist.
“Here, let me,” Robin says as she slaps the window to the driver’s seat. She darts over and takes the IV away from Steve.
Sighing, Steve reaches down and grabs Eddie’s hand before it can cup him in his pants. Eddie somehow manages to look simultaneously happy and sad that Steve is holding his hand (and that he's not holding something else.) “Aww.”
“Sorry, buddy, he doesn’t put out before the first date,” Robin laughs again.
Eddie gasps, like he’s offended she would suggest such a thing. “I’m offended you would suggest such a thing! You – you don’t treat a priceless jewel like some common rock! You cherish it and take it out to dinner and then make love to it and have its babies!”
Steve’s beet red. He knows his face is beet red. And judging by the look at Robin’s face as she gets buckled in across from him, she’s enjoying this way, way too much.
“You’re enjoying this way, way too much.”
“What can I say? It’s not every day I see Steve Harrington blush.”
“I’m not blushing,” Steve hisses at her, but he’s prevented from saying more by Eddie yanking him towards his face.
Eddie smiles, his eyes running all over Steve’s face. “Are you an angel?”
“Oh my God,” Robin snort-laughs into her shoulder. Steve looks up and shoots her a glare.
“Traitor.”
“But if you’re an angel,” Eddie says, drawing Steve’s attention back down to him, “does – does that mean I’m dead?”
“What? No, no, no,” Steve rushes out, trying to comfort him but now Eddie is in tears, and fuck he’s even pretty when he cries, shit shit shit –
Steve squeezes his hand. “Hey, hey, it’s okay, you’re okay, it’s going to be okay – ”
“Dear Lord,” Eddie starts out, and okay, he’s praying now?
“When I get to Heaven,” Eddie takes a deep breath, opens his eyes and beams up at Steve, “please LET ME TAKE MY MANNNNNNNN - ”
Jesus Christ, he’s singing Lana del Ray.
“WHEN HE COMES, TELL ME THAT YOU’LL LET HIM IN, FATHER TELL ME IF YOU CAN - ”
Eddie’s really giving it his all with this performance and honestly, Steve would be a bit more impressed if he wasn’t bleeding from his head in the back of his ambulance. (Although in a way that does make it even more impressive.) It’s just – look, Steve’s been subjected to a lot of people flirting and hitting on him in his tenure as a paramedic and he’s never crumbled, not once. But for whatever fucking reason, this stupidly hot metalhead somehow has his heart by the balls (or whatever. Look, he’s a paramedic, not a wordsmith, he doesn’t need to be the words guy in this relationship.
Not that this is a relationship.
Fuck.)
“OH THAT FACE, OH THAT BODY - ”
Steve tears his eyes away from Eddie to look at Robin who is – yep, she’s filming this on her phone.
“Seriously? That’s a HIPAA violation waiting to happen!”
“Please, when you guys get married three years from now, you’ll be thanking me,” Robin’s grin is shark-like. “Besides, it’s not every day your best friend gets serenaded by a Grammy-winning artist.”
So this guy is super famous then. “Huh?” Is all Steve manages to say.
Thankfully (or unthankfully) he’s interrupted by Eddie. “HE MAKES ME SHINE LIKE DIAMONDSSSSS!”
One second of silence.
Five seconds.
Ten seconds.
“WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME WHEN - ”
For fuck’s sake.
Sarah slides open the window to the front. “We’re pulling in now,” she grins, shooting a look at Steve and Eddie, who’s still singing his heart out and has a death grip on Steve’s hand.
“I KNOW THAT YOU WILLLLLLLLL - ”
“Yep, yes, okay, thank you,” Steve says, pulling his hand out of Eddie’s grasp. Eddie immediately starts pouting again and makes grabby hands. “No, nope, it’s time to see the doctor.”
“But, but, angel baby,” Eddie whimpers and god, it feels like he’s actually tugging on Steve’s heartstrings, “I just found you. You’ll stay with me, right? Please please please please please - ”
“Of course he will,” Robin hops in, to which Eddie cheers. “Besides,” she winks at Steve, “Suzie’s the one on shift today. Don’t you think it’s time for Eddie to meet the family, Stevie?”
Steve can feel the blood rushing to his face while Eddie gasps happily. “Yes, please! Don’t worry, baby, I’ll make a good first impression,” he says, patting Steve’s hand like Steve’s the one in trouble right now.
(Which he definitely is.)
Robin and Dan get Eddie (and his gurney) out of the ambulance and onto the ground, and it’s only when Eddie starts loudly yelling – nay, screaming – for his angel of music that Sarah pokes him in the shoulder and Steve gets moving.
He hops out of the ambulance and Eddie stops yelling. “Hi baby,” Eddie giggles and holds out his hand. “Are you with me, angel?”
(He shouldn’t entertain this; Steve Harrington is calm, cool, collected. He’s a goddamn professional.)
Steve sighs, walks over, and wraps Eddie’s hand in his. “Yeah, you demon, I’m with you.”
Eddie beams, and Steve can’t stop himself from smiling back at him.
(Yeah, this guy might be the one that broke his streak, but something tells him that when Eddie is finally in his right frame of mind, Steve will certainly be giving him a run for his money.)
we need more Rockstar Eddie braining himself trying to do a crowd surf and Paramedic Steve having to endure a very embarrassing drive to the hospital where said rockstar keeps asking him if heaven sent him.

Mysterylover watches Bleach episodes 302-306 "My Girl Tatsuki is BAAAAAACCKKK!!!"
Tumblr media
1. So we're apparently starting a new Training Arc right at the climax of the Villain arc? Huh. That's a weird choice, pacing-wise. Anyway it's a Hyperbolic Time Chamber kinda deal so we should be ok.
2. We get a lot of lecturing about technical shinigami training terms from IchiDad. I assume that this will all make sense eventually but right now I am wondering "Will this be on the test?"
3. Over in Karakura Town For Reals we are reunited with TATSUKI!!!! OMG I've missed my girl Tatsuki soo much I thought you were joining this arc Tatsu get on that!
4. We follow up with more ichiTraining. I swear to god Ichi does nothing but train.
5. Then back to Tatsuki, as she escorts her Utter Shithead Pervert sidekick squad around Empty Karakura town. Aizen and Gin arrive. Ya'll better not hurt my girl Tatsuki, I will mentally END you.
6. Ichi goes into water and meets a really pretty dark haired dude in a cloak. Who is apparently Ichigo's sword thing Zangetsu. Huh. Wha?
7. Ichi and Zang duel for a bit, I have no idea how that works. AND THEN OH SHIT AIZEN HAS SPOTTED TATSUKI OH NO
8. We spend more time then watching Ichigo dueling his mental world thing again and it's cool looking and all but DAMMIT I WANNA KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY GIRL TATSUKI
9. Tatsu and Keigo are chatting to deliver some exposition about Other Sidekick whose name I don't remember's friendship with Ichigo.
10. AND AIZEN SPOTS THEM AND IS LIKE "WOW THIS CHICK SEEMS COOL NICE TO MEET YOU I AM MAIN VILLAIN", holy shit that cliffhanger!!!
11. Sadly 306 then cuts back to more IchiTraining. Dammit Ichigo I know you're the MC but you can't leave me hanging like that!
12. So yada yada yada I AM YOUR HOLLOWFIED FORM yes yes embrace your inner looney-ness from fighting Ulqui I get it.
13. BACK TO AIZEN MEETING TATSUKI! Sadly before Tatsuki can whoop out hidden badass powers and clean Aizen's slate, some other dude I don't remember shows up. I'm just gonna call him Not!MR Satan because that's exactly who he is.
14. Not!Mr Satan fights Aizen for like two minutes, but obviously This Does Nothing. Because it's Aizen and nothing will. Fortunatley for NotSatan he's saved by MY GIRL RANGIKU!!
15. And then more Ichigo Training. I'm sorry if fans are hoping I'll react dramatically to this, because I tend to find anime training arcs kinda repetitive.
16. I'm noticing all the dudes in this show underestimate the badass ladies, who thankfully just ignore them. LET RANGIKU HANDLE THIS NOT!SATAN.
17. Tatsuki, who has a thing for beautiful and busty redheads, spends a lot of time gushing over Rangiku. Orihime has some competition it seems.
18. Sadly before Rangiku can kick Aizen's ass, Gin drags her off so they can finally explain to me why they're apparently a ship.
19. Gin asks her why she's here and she says she wants to know why he Turned to the Dark Side and all. He does not in fact answer her question but instead tries to kill her. Um ok. Well Ulquiorra and Orihime basically started this way so let's assume more stuff is on the way.
20. Tatsuki is unfortunately saddled with NotMrSatan being douchey, so on her behalf I apologize. Anyway Rangi appears to have been defeated by Gin and Ichigo is, big shock, still training.

autonomous. | lloyd x reader | chapter iii
“Lloyd?!”
You turn at the new voice, watching as a group of four boys jog towards the two of you. Your eyes widen as a sudden wave of shyness overcomes you. Until the past few days, you had never spoken to anyone who wasn’t your father, Garmadon, Kozu, or a Stone Warrior.
“Where the hell have you been?! Who is this?” demands the spiky-haired brunet, pointing an accusatory finger at you.
“Yeah, Lloyd! We go to see if we can locate the Temple of Light and come back to hear that you’ve been gone for like four hours?! And now you’re back here with...a girl?!” yells a redhead.
“Come on, guys, chill out. Let’s hear what he has to say,” encourages a muscular, dark-haired boy.
“Thank you, Cole,” Lloyd says, sighing. “To make a long story short, I was taken while you guys were searching for the Temple. I was paralyzed, then taken to the Overlord. She freed me and helped me escape. Her name is...” he says your name, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. “She’s the Overlord’s daughter but is seeking a means to help defeat him.” You stay silent but don’t miss how he failed to mention the fact that you were the one who kidnapped him.
“What? The Overlord has a daughter now?! Jeez, what’s up with evil warlords having kids?” mumbles the blue ninja - Jay. The last sentence prompts the one dressed in black to slap the former upside the head. “Ow!”
You freeze as they all quiet down and stare at you. Of course, you understand their apprehension. You’re an outsider – one who happened to be an adversary mere hours ago. It makes sense that they don’t trust you around the one person that could vanquish the Overlord.
“Come on, guys,” Lloyd says, stepping in front of you. “She got me out of there. I understand that there’s still basis for us not to trust her, but she deserves a chance to prove herself.”
“Yeah, maybe so...but what if there’s some ulterior motive? What if she just wanted to figure out the location of our base so she can send a bunch of Stone Warriors to obliterate us in our sleep?!” the blue ninja replies.
“To be fair, we have known the location of your base for a while. You all aren’t exactly discreet,” you mumble, folding your arms.
“Okay, this is getting us nowhere,” Lloyd interrupts. “Did you guys find the Temple of Light?”
“We did. It is located atop a mountain across the island.”
“Yeah, but it’s gonna be hard to get up there,” Kai adds. “Let’s hope Nya’s latest invention is done.”
“What are we going to do about her, though? Is she coming with?” Jay asks, gesturing towards you with his thumb.
“From what I’ve seen, you all don’t appear to be capable of hindering the Stone Warriors very well,” you say. “I can help hold them off. By now, they’ve likely noticed Lloyd is no longer a prisoner and that I have betrayed them. They’ll be scouring the island soon if not already.”
“She’s right,” Lloyd adds as you follow the group towards the broken ship. “We can’t hold them off in our current state. Our only hope is to make it to the Temple so we can become powerful enough to fight them off. She’s coming with us.”
“Fine,” Kai grumbles. “But if she makes one wrong move…”
“Kai, we get it,” Lloyd replies, sighing as the sound of foreign footsteps catch the group’s attention. It's then you realize that the elders of the team have come out to see what’s going on.
“My students...what happened?” questions the old man with a long beard. In his grip is a bamboo staff – one you’re sure is older than you.
“Lloyd got kidnapped by the Overlord’s grunts but then she helped him escape and now she’s saying she wants to help us so now we have to take her with us while we go to the Temple of Light-”
Kai groans, pushing Jay aside. “Yeah, pretty much. What do you think, Sensei?”
The old man remains silent, stepping towards you. The ninja split so that they aren’t in his way, all observing their master as he studies you.
“Interesting...there is a longing in your gaze,” notes the old man. “One that tells me you have been trapped here far too long. Is this true, my dear?”
You nod, a lump forming in your throat as you start explaining yourself: “Yes. My father has been lying to me about the land of Ninjago for as long as I can remember. Only today was I able to discover the truth thanks to your brother.”
His bright eyes seem to light up a bit at the mention of his brother. “I see. What does the Overlord want with Lloyd?”
A pang of guilt surges through you as you recall the memory. “He wants Lloyd dead. Had I not interfered, my father would have injected him with a lethal dose of dark matter that would have killed him by the time he made it back to your camp.”
The ninja all tense, all holding wordless conversations as their master nods solemnly. “It is as I feared. The Overlord will not stop at anything to reach his goal.”
You nod in agreement. “If he’s willing to kill Lloyd, then there’s no telling what he’s going to do to the people of Ninjago if he’s not stopped.”
“Then there is no time to waste. Ninja, you are to report to Nya for a briefing. Find the Temple of Light and see what secrets it holds. You are to treat this young lady as if she is one of your own. Am I clear?”
A defeated chorus of “Yes, Sensei” echoes among the group before they jog somewhere else, leaving you with the elders.
“My name is Sensei Wu. This is Misako, Lloyd’s mother, and this is Dr. Julien, Zane’s father. Please forgive my students; they are protective of Lloyd by nature.”
“It’s nice to meet you all,” you say, smiling gratefully. “And it’s quite all right. I would expect nothing less since they are the ones destined to be his protectors.”
“Thank you for saving my son,” the woman says, approaching you and gently taking your hands in hers. Your gaze shifts to her, causing her to smile. Her grey hair is tied into a messy braid, cascading down her back. She must be Garmadon’s wife. “I know the others haven’t said it, but they are grateful that you saved him.”
“Of course,” you respond. “I owe part of it to Garmadon, too. He kept my father and Kozu distracted while I got Lloyd out. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have been able to pull the escape off.”
Her expression shifts to one of heartache, making you pity their broken family. “I’m...glad to hear that. He still has a soft spot for his son after all these years.”
“You should join the others considering they’ll leaving soon,” the doctor pipes in. “We can chat more later. It is good to have you on the team, though.”
“Thank you all for your understanding.”
With that, the four of you begin walking past the ship
They haven’t gone far, as it turns out. The five boys are crowded around a machine, listening to a girl standing in front of it.
“We've also packed another surprise in the back. Perhaps it can be of use?” she asks, taking a moment to press a chaste kiss to Jay’s cheek.
“Another Nya surprise?” he replies, perking up a little bit.
You stand a fair distance away from the group, watching as Misako approaches Lloyd. “You’ll have to go too. Be safe.”
“We will,” Lloyd assures as the boys start climbing into the machine. It seems to be a drill, but...with wheels?
“Whatever you do, do not stop until you get to the Temple of Light. Our survival depends on it,” Wu addresses as they all get settled. You hesitate upon trying to enter the machine, not sure how to go about climbing in. What parts are you supposed to step on…? You hadn't thought to closely watch them enter.
“This time we’ll stick to the plan,” Kai agrees as he sits down. You frown, wondering why they're all sitting in the middle of a giant drill.
You’re snapped out of your thoughts when you see Lloyd offering his hand to you, all of the ninja now masked. You inhale deeply as you take his hand, his touch sparking a wave of warmth within your fingers as he helps pull you in.
“Good luck, ninja.”
“What...is this?” you question, becoming even more puzzled when you see that there are seats built into this machine.
Lloyd keeps a hold on your hand as you glance around confusedly. There’s a wheel attached to the front, across from where Cole’s sitting. In total, seven seats are present, with you and Lloyd in the row preceding the last one.
“It’s a vehicle that Nya and Dr. Julien built,” he answers.
“Veh...icle?” you wonder, hesitantly sitting down when Lloyd gestures you to do so.
“You know...like a car?”
“A car?”
“Uh, yeah...Zane, help me out here?”
“A vehicle: noun – a thing used for transporting people or goods, especially on land, such as a car, truck, or cart,” answers the white ninja.
“Oh, we don’t have anything like that. At least, we didn’t until Garmadon arrived, but I didn’t really see them being built,” you explain, looking up in alarm as the translucent glass above you starts sliding forward, enclosing you within. “The glass moves?!”
“Yep! It helps make sure we stay inside while also protecting us from any potential hazards.”
Suddenly, the vehicle starts rumbling and rolling forward. You gasp, wondering what’s making the noise as you snap your gaze towards the glass. It's moving!
Lloyd chuckles at your reaction. “Relax, that’s just the engine running.”
“What’s an engine?”
“It’s a device that converts gas to motion so that the car can move. If you want, we could show you how it works when we get back home.”
“Really?” you wonder, eyes wide.
“Yeah, of course.”
You can’t help but grin as the vehicle barrels onward, butterflies of excitement fluttering through your chest. Any time you had asked your father how certain things worked he would always refuse to explain anything since you were to focus on nothing but training. The fact that you’ll be able to learn about the world without restriction is something you’re greatly looking forward to.
You’re anxious to ask more questions, but part of you is afraid you’ll come across as annoying. You decide that you’ll ask them later since it seems a brigade of Stone Warriors is now giving chase.
From there, the ride becomes rather bumpy as Cole attempts to lose the warriors.
“You do know how to steer this thing, don’t you?!” Jay yells when the army nearly closes in.
Cole doesn’t respond, seemingly focused on avoiding a pair of vehicles that have blocked the way ahead. You and the others grunt as he jerks the wheel to the right, taking a sharp turn that instantaneously switches the vehicle’s direction. The black ninja proceeds to use a nearby boulder as a ramp, accelerating quickly.
“Woohoo!”
With that, Cole pulls a lever, causing a new whirring sound that comes from the front. The drill starts spinning, allowing for it to dig into the ground.
“Wow!” you say, turning around to look at the path the vehicle left. Sunlight has since faded from the makeshift tunnel. Would Kozu even be able to follow? “How are you all able to build such a wondrous device?”
“Well, Nya’s amazing at building stuff! Paired with Dr. Julien’s knowledge, I bet there’s nothing they couldn’t make!” Jay answers.
“Jay and Zane are both pretty handy with machines too,” Cole chimes in, eyes focused on the path ahead.
“What else have you built?”
“We make lots of mechs, vehicles, robots, all kinds of stuff. Just depends on what we might need or what we’re inspired to make.”
You nod in response, realizing that Cole has shifted direction once more. Soon enough, the vehicle starts barreling upwards, eventually breaching the surface.
The sudden burst of sunlight makes you squint as you glance upwards, seeing that your group is stationed at the foot of a mountain.
“Well, that’s about as far as this baby will go. We’ll have to do the rest on our own.”
“But we’ll never make it up the mountain before they arrive!” Lloyd interjects as a beep sounds. The glass windows slide open, allowing for the boys to hop out. You stand there, wondering how you should go about getting out.
You can’t see his expression due to his mask, but Lloyd seems to be smiling as he offers his hand to you. Thanking him quietly, you take his hand as you gingerly step out.
“Well then, let’s see what my sister packed!”
You linger towards the back of the group as Kai walks to the back of the vehicle, pressing a button on a strange box that appears to be attached to the metal. It beeps, suddenly leaping off of the vehicle. It whirs and beeps, expanding into…
“What is that?” you wonder, studying the device. It’s like a mechanical statue!
“Oh, I love my sis!” cries the red ninja as he leaps onto it.
“It’s a mech. Basically a giant robot that we can control,” Lloyd answers.
“I see,” you wonder, the sound of whirring catching your attention. You turn towards the source, spotting a bunch of Stone Warrior vehicles approaching.
You frown, taking a few steps forward as you glare in their direction. They shrink back, but slow down. You spot General Kozu approaching on a machine as well.
“Mistress? What are you doing?” the grunts ask in their tongue. Hm, the Overlord must not have told them of your betrayal before sending them out. That, or they were simply on patrol while the whole ordeal occurred.
“Leave us,” you warn, not backing down this time.
“She has betrayed her own blood,” Kozu explains, glaring daggers into you. You push aside your emotions in order to return his stare just as pointedly.
“He is no longer my father.”
“It is a shame that all of these years have led to your treachery. You will never understand what has been lost as a result of your deception. Now, it will lead to your undoing. Attack!”
You remain still as they advance, focusing your magic energy into your fingertips. A smirk crosses your lips as they hesitate, stopping in their tracks for a moment.
It seems as if Kozu is the only one who recognizes your spell, because his cries for his men to fall back are cut off by your quiet chants.
Moments after, rings of dark magic encircle themselves around their limbs, immediately tightening. The runes embedded in the spell start glowing a pretty shade of lavender as the spell’s effects enact.
With that, the Stone Warriors crumble to their knees, crying out in pain. Kozu does so as well, but only grunts as he manages to glare at you.
“There, that will hold them for a few minutes,” you say, turning back towards the ninja.
“What? How did you do that?!” Kai wonders as they stare at the fallen Stone Warriors.
“It’s a spell that grants its victims a sense of pain, no matter their biological status. Part of the reason why they’re indestructible is because they can’t feel pain. For them, even a little bit of pain would feel excruciating, as you can see.”
“Um…well allow me to be the first to say that I really hope you intend on staying on our side!” Jay chimes in with a nervous chuckle. The others nod in agreement.
“I intend to. Anyways, we should start heading up.”
“Yeah, let’s go! Climb on!”
The four ninja leap onto the mech, with Lloyd climbing on top. Once more, he offers his hand to you.
You take it, tightening your grip as he pulls you on top of the mech. With his right hand securely holding onto the golden part of the mech, he uses his other one to hold you against his side. You cringe at the thought of having to scale the mountain with such an unsound grip, but it’ll have to do.
As Kai dashes towards the mountain, you immediately circle your arms around Lloyd’s neck, feeling wobbly. His grip around your waist tightens as the mech leaps onto the side of the mountain.
“I won’t let you fall,” he assures. You nod in response, glancing down at the Stone Warriors giving chase.
“Oh, they’re still coming!” Jay yells.
“One of these days we’re gonna have to fight!” Cole complains from the side of the mech.
“We’re not climbing fast enough!”
Kai makes the mech jump from point to point, which is a tad bit faster. Even so, a Stone Warrior manages to leap onto the leg of the mech, eliciting a bunch of beeps from the mechanism. Kai has to stop in order to shake him off. The beeping stops, allowing the mech to continue.
“Activate hook!” Kai yells, aiming the mech’s left arm upward. Sure enough, a hook shoots out of the palm, attaching to the top of the mountain. The mech is then pulled up by the rope, letting Kai climb onto the top.
With that, the five of you jump off. Your knees are a bit unsteady, but the adrenaline coursing through you makes it all worth it.
“We made it to the top!” Jay cheers as your group looks around. “But where’s the Temple of Light?!”
“Are you sure you used the medallion right?” Lloyd asks.
“Oh, of course I used it right! It said it should be right here!”
“Well, until we find it, I’ve got to find a way to slow them down,” Kai adds as the mech turns back around to face the cliff. Thankfully, he shoots down a few boulders, knocking the Stone Warriors out of sight.
“That should buy us a little time.”
From there, everyone begins scaling the mountain. You remain towards the back, but make sure to keep up. Suddenly, you’re grateful you spent so much of your time training for physically demanding challenges.
After a minute or so, you hear Lloyd gasping. “The Temple of Light!”
Once you pull yourself to the top, you pause for a moment in order to catch your breath and admire the Temple. Clearly erected in ancient times, it looks great for how old it must be.
You elect to only watch as the ninja enter. For some reason, this feels like something they should do by themselves. You hang out by the mech, staring at the summit below.
“Hey.”
You turn, seeing Cole poking his head out of the door. “Huh?”
“Aren’t you coming inside?”
“I feel like I’m intruding,” you admit. “I can just keep watch.”
“You’re not. Sensei said to treat you like you’re one of us, and I trust his judgement, so that’s what I’m gonna do. Come on in.”
You fidget with your hands for a moment, watching as he beckons you inside. You thank him, offering an appreciative smile towards the dark-haired boy.
The temple’s doors close behind you, leaving you and Cole to catch up with the rest of the group. You can’t help but wonder who built this place. There are four pillars and a large bell located in the center of the room. What purpose do those serve?
“Guys, check this out!” Jay says, gesturing towards what appears to be a large mural depicting several events. “It’s us!”
“Impossible… It’s everything we’ve ever done!” Kai notes as they pad over to the first painting.
“Finding the Bounty, facing the Devourer…even right now!” Cole adds as he points to the a specific painting.
He’s right – it contains a depiction of the ninja. But not just the ninja…
“Even her?” Kai wonders. You can’t help but feel a bit giddy when you see your figure painted onto the mural too. It looks like you made the right decision after all!
“That settles it,” Lloyd replies as he glances at you. “It’s destiny.”
“How could it all be here?” Zane wonders.
“Like I said: destiny,” Lloyd answers. “I think I know what we need to do.”
He walks out towards the center of the room, underneath the large bell. You observe in silence as he kneels down, wiping the dust off from the floor. “Look!”
Sure enough, his symbol is there. The ninja spread out, all bending down to swipe the dust off of certain sections of the floor, revealing their respective symbols scattered around Lloyd’s.
“Wait, there’s something else here,” Zane says as he glances around. “Our elements comprise the circle surrounding Lloyd’s symbol. But…there is an outlying symbol here.”
The ninja of ice takes a moment to kick the dust off of the unknown shape. Sure enough, a new symbol lies there – this one featuring a rune surrounded by a dark purple.
“That must be yours,” Zane says, glancing up to you.
“Mine? No, that can’t be right…”
“You were in the mural. That means the First Spinjitzu Master knew you would be here too,” Lloyd points out.
“That means it has to be yours,” Zane adds as he walks back over to his symbol. “Stand on it and see what happens.”
You nod, swallowing nervously as you step within your symbol. From here, you’re outside of the ninja’s circle but straight across from Lloyd.
“Okay, now what?” Lloyd wonders as everyone looks around for some type of clue. When no one finds anything, you spot Lloyd shaking his head as he glances up at the bell above him. “Wait…the bell! It’s an instrument! You guys ready for this?!”
“Bring it!” Cole encourages as the ninja straighten their posture.
Lloyd releases a cry, running towards the pillar behind Cole. He uses his momentum to kick off of it, giving him the height he needs to strike the bell.
As his foot connects with the metal of the bell, a sharp ringing enters your ears. It pierces through your head, eliciting a headache as the force of its rumbling starts shaking the entire Temple.
The ringing gradually fades into a low reverberation, a golden beam of light shining down on Lloyd as he stands up.
“Whoa! What’s happening?!”
“No one move!” Zane directs.
You shift your gaze back to Lloyd, watching as he relaxes and tilts his head up with closed eyes. As the golden glow brightens, a white beam shoots down from the bell, seemingly being redirected to a crystal implanted in the wall via Lloyd. From there, the light bounces from crystal to crystal until it strikes Kai’s pillar.
That same white light surrounds Kai, changing his gi into a new one. A golden object is summoned into his hand.
The process happens for the other three ninja as well, when finally the beam of light is shot into the floor around Lloyd. The outline of his circle turns to a pastel purple color, the light rushing towards the perimeter of your symbol.
Your heart rate increases as foreign magic seeps within your skin, tangling itself with the magic you had learned to wield so well. No longer did the darkness feel forced; Lloyd’s energy intertwines with your magic to grant a lighter sense. It lightens the burden that had been placed upon you against your will. No longer does the dark nature of your magic feel evil; you are now embracing it. One with your element – that of darkness itself. It is the natural balance to Lloyd’s magic, and should not be treated with fear.
It is the natural way. Shadow must accompany the light wherever it may follow, and that does not have to be a bad thing. You are now the exception, and hope to lead others in your example.
No longer connected with your physical self, you sift your way through the energy in an attempt to find a tangible connection with your body. It comes shortly after as the sensation subsides, leaving you breathless as you find yourself gripping a silver object akin to what the ninja are holding.
Wind rips throughout the Temple as the light encompasses Lloyd once more, this time making him levitate. You watch along with the other ninja in stupor as he begins spinning midair.
Suddenly, elemental-themed blades shoot out of the golden objects the ninja had been holding. Yours doesn’t come out though, much to your surprise.
“Guys, send him your powers!” Kai yells over all of the commotion. The others nod, aiming their blades towards Lloyd and summoning blasts of elemental energy towards him.
Lloyd absorbs it, a low hum resounding throughout the Temple as a bubble of green energy surrounds him before exploding into a golden dragon. You stand there in awe, admiring the sheer power radiating from him.
“Lloyd!” Kai yells as the green ninja falls to the ground. It's then that the blade erupts from its silver handle.
You want to go check on him, but are stopped when you hear the shouting of Stone Warriors coming from outside.
“Let ‘em have it!” Lloyd yells as all of you get into fight stances.
You smirk, taking a moment to test out your new weapon. It’s light and versatile, and the darkness of the blade seems to bend to your will in a way.
“Now we get to fight!” Cole yells as Kai dashes towards a group of Stone Warriors, blocking one of their swords. The warrior seems shocked when the sword fails to shatter upon impact.
“Cool!” remarks Kai as runs around the group while dragging his sword on the ground. It creates a wall of fire around the group that can’t be escaped.
“Woohoo!”
You see that a group of warriors are heading your way too. The other ninja begin battling the Stone Warriors as you back away, wondering how your new blade works.
With a mighty war cry, a Stone Warrior rushes towards you, lifting the sword in preparation for a swing. After promptly blocking it, your eyes widen when you see that darkness from your blade is actually eating through the metal, causing it to shatter moments later.
“Ooh…” you mumble, chuckling as you enter a swordfight with a few other warriors. Their blades are no match for the corruption oozing from your weapon, shattering each and every one of their swords and shields.
They back away upon realizing they no longer have any items to protect them from the destructive nature of your weapon.
“What’s the matter? Going to run back to Kozu now that you know you’re done for?” you mock in their language, a new sense of confidence swelling within you.
They back away, but only to be frozen by Zane’s ice. A dark chuckle escapes you as you swing the elemental blade down, making the mound of ice dissolve within seconds.
“Not so indestructible now!” you say.
“Indeed! Let’s catch up with the others.”
You follow Zane towards the center of the room, where the others are currently gathered. They’re behind Lloyd, who’s summoning a ball of green energy that gradually turns golden. It’s almost mesmerizing, in a way – how the light of his element gently embraces the world around it.
Soon enough, the same golden dragon appears, this time flying towards the Stone Warriors.
“RETREAT!” Kozu yells as the Stone Warriors run away.
“We did it!” Jay yells once they’re gone. “We actually won this time!”
“Hell yes! We sure gave them a taste of their own medicine!”
“And it feels damn good not to run away for once!”
“Not to mention that we finally have a means to interact with our elements,” Zane adds.
You can’t help but tear up as you watch the group, a smile on your face as you realize that you finally have a chance to leave this cursed island so you can make a name for yourself. You wipe your eyes with the sleeve of your new gi.
Speaking of which, it’s exactly like the ninjas’, but with purple accents. It’s comfortable yet also seems ideal for combat. You release a shaky breath, sheathing your elemental blade in the holster located on your back.
It’s time for a new life!

NSFW MERMAIN RINDOU HAITANI.
It's be interesting.
GOT IT!
Beneath the Waves: Rindou Haitani x Fem!Reader

2K Event Masterlist: Monster Mash
Drowning isn't the way you wanted to go.
Being pulled toward a spinning vortex definitely isn't the way you saw your pirate career ending.
Air escapes you, time escapes you... everything is just... slipping through your fingers like water.
Heh, like water.
If you hadn't blacked out a few seconds ago, you might have even laughed a little.
_____________________________________________________________
Your thoughts bubble up from the deep and resurface with the water that's escaped your lungs.
Holy fuck.
Fingers poke at your hair, smooth across your skin, touch your cheek. When you open your eyes, you look at the sky, then at the scaly-lavender hand that quickly retracts.
"You're awake."
You jerk up, eyes darting toward the man - no, the thing - that's on the beach next to you.
"Oh, holy fucking shit, what the--" You scramble back against the nearest rock, fingers clutching at the crevices with vice-like grips. The merman-looking creature cocks its head at you, then opens its mouth to speak.
"Are you alright?" You glance at the tail that's slowly retracting, then back at the lavender-haired man, then back at the now-disappeared tail, which has been replaced with two, muscular, unclothed legs.
"Wha--" You inhale sharply, then look over your shoulder at the beach behind you.
No one else is here to see this.
"You..."
The merman stands slowly, walking toward you with an awkward gait that leaves you clinging onto the rock for dear life and then some.
"Sealegs," he laughs, crouching down and looking at your face. "You had a few cuts there, but it seems like they're going to be fine."
"My ship..." you muse slowly as he touches your face with fully human hands this time.
"Is gone." The statement is enough to deflate your entire being. Your life. Your career. Your love. It's all gone. And in front of you is a naked merman who is touching your face with some sort of fondness, like you're a china doll. "You're going to need some water and some food," he mutters, standing. "At least, that's what Ran and the townspeople said humans need."
The merman pronounces "humans" like "hyew-mens", and drags his feet in the sand a little as he stalks off past the shoreline and toward the town looming in the distance.
"Wait!" you yell, scrambling to your feet. "Wait!"
The half-man, half-fish (well, earlier) turns to wait for you, his violet eyes full of excitement.
"I brought you somewhere safe; somewhere where you can recover and so you can go home." Home. That word does not exist in your vocabulary. But you don't inform him of that as you walk behind him, your ripped clothing and haggard appearance obviously more distracting to those around you than mer-penis. He walks you all the way to a home between a patch of land with a few cattle and a church. A church.
"Rindou! What've I told ye' about roaming 'round in nothing but yer skivvies?" a woman shouts, running out to the not-man with a towel. "Can't ye' keep the pants I give ye' in a cove or somethin'?"
"Marylou, this is..." The merman named Rindou turns to you, holding his hand out for you to fill the blank with your name.
"Y/n," you offer, and the redhead looks at you with a smile full of pity.
"Sorry ye' had to see him in his natural state," she murmurs. "He's a bit of an odd one, isn't he?"
"Is that Rindou?" you hear, and turn to the sound coming from the house closest to you. A tall man with short, black hair jogs down the rickety wooden stairs, approaching the three of you with a small smile. "And his human captive I see..."
"Captive? Ran, don't be so dull. She was drowning and I happened to save her."
"And bring her right to the only place you knew, huh?" Ran looks over at you and sticks his hand out. "Ran Haitani; Rin's older brother."
"Y/n," you offer, smiling a little. "Ex-pirate, now hostage."
_____________________________________________________________
"What does that spell?"
"B-O-W. Bow."
You're learning how to read, thanks to Rindou. In all your years of raiding and thieving, you'd never taken the time to learn how to do it. But now that you're miles away from what's left of your ship, you seem to have found the time.
"And this?" Rindou's fingers run over your skin, making circles and tracing patterns on the small of your back and he performs this impromptu exercise.
"Those are just scribbles," you laugh, rocking your hips backward. Rindou moans loudly, erasing the near silence of the bedroom as his eyes flutter closed.
"Fine, fine," he whispers. "What does this spell?"
"K-I-S-S... M-E. Kiss me." You oblige, pressing your lips to his once, then twice. Rindou curls his fingers through your hair and spreads his legs a little wider, bracing himself so he can thrust into you as deep as he likes.
"Oh," you gasp, angling your neck up slightly. "That's it; right there."
"What does this spell?" Rin pants, his playful smile returning as your eyes roll back into your head. You can barely tell, you can barely think. All you know is that Rindou is inside of you and it feels like heaven. "C'mon, baby, tell me," he hisses, teeth nipping at your breasts. "I want to hear it."
"Rin, I... can't," you whimper, holding onto his arm while his cock drills into you from below. "I can't..." You're drowning in him, his scent, his taste, the way he says your name...
"I've got you," Rindou finally breathes, pulling you down against his chest and gripping your ass with both hands as he slows his strokes, emptying himself into you for the second time. "I've always got you."

A Blissful Vacation
Tumblr media
Day 3! Today we have a Crossover with Bleach and my other OTP Ulquihime. Last Ulquihime Week I had written a one shot eith these two ships in a Crossover and since you all liked it so much here's more. I'm also reasuing the picture I made for it since it's cute and also the banner for the Wavewave Week account so here it is in full. Hope you like!
Wavewave Week- Day 3 Crossover(Bleach AU/ IDW AU Crossover) Set 10 years after the events of 'A Different Reality'
He would never get used to an organic body. While Shockwave jumped at the chance to test his universe hopper and to see his organic friends, he was starting to question his decision.
"Lighten up, it's not so bad and we'll be finally seeing them again." Soundwave smiled in his organic form.
The blue mech was now a tall tanned skinned human male with blue long hair and red eyes.
Shockwave on the other hand was slightly shorter than him with short purple hair, pale skin and a single golden eye, the one which was missing was now covered by an eyepatch.
"I am looking forward to seeing our friends again, and it is fair we come see them instead of expecting them to always travel to our universe. Still, I don't like this form, it's uncomfortable."
The words died in his mouth as a bouncy redhead girl glomped both him and Soundwave. "You're here!"
"Orihime! It's so good to see you!" Soundwave beamed as he returned the hug.
Shockwave was pleased by his friend's affection but quickly noticed something.
"You shouldn't be glomping us when you're..."
Her weight had decreased, which likely meant she was no longer carrying a child. To confirm this he got back up and Ulquiorra was walking towards them carrying two chubby bunddles, one with black hair and pretty silver eyes and another with orange hair and green eyes.
"We really need to visit more often." Shockwave concluded.
***
Holding an organic newborn was like trying to deal with all of his cassettes at the same time. Baby Sora had taken to pulling on Soundwave's hair. It didn't hurt much, especially when the adorable redhead giggled as she pulled.
"Are you sure you're okay? I can take the baby back."
"No way! I wanna hold her more. We Cybertronians don't have babies."
Ulquiorra rolled his eyes but allowed him to keep his daughter for a while longer. "How's everything back there? The war is still ongoing?"
"Yeah, I think we might win soon. We've certainly made a lot of progress but some Autobots are still stubbornly refusing to back down."
The green eyed man nodded. "Even if our battle is already won there are still shinigami stubbornly denying our victory. It's mostly the noble families, they're difficult to deal with."
"Ah, it's always the rich ones, isn't it?" He said as he gently cradled Sora. The baby was no longer pulling his hair, instead she was looking at him with curious eyes.
"If she knew you were actually a robot her eyes might get even bigger." Ulquiorra teased as he took a photo of the occasion.
"That would be concerning. She has big eyes like you already. Isn't that right Sora Schiffer?"
The baby giggled as she allowed Soundwave to gently rock her to sleep. Soundwave saw hope on those big green eyes. If their friends had won a war and had been able to live peacefully for ten years now then perhaps they too would be able to do so. Victory was getting closer everyday and he intended to reach it, for those who couldn't.
"Who else was lost?" Ulquiorra asked, knowing exactly what Soundwave was feeling.
"Starscream defected. Which I feel like good riddance but he has been making difficult on us as always. Tarn got himself killed after leading a hunt we told him not to chase. Killoton is in a coma and Lovelace is still M.I.A... And as before, Shockwave's remain unrecoverable."
"You should just tell him. I can see it in your eyes. You want to be with him even if he does not remember your past."
"You're right but...." Soundwave sighed. "I don't want to burden him. Right after the Shadowplay I was told those memories were lost forever, that merely trying to make him remember could cause him to suffer processor damage and maybe shut down. I much rather rhave him healthy and calm than damaged for my selfish desires."
"I understand. We'd do anything to protect the ones we love. However, you're the one who once told me to confess my feelings to the woman, and look at us now."
He smiled at hearing his friend use the old nickname he'd given Orihime before they were even friends. What he said was true, as when they were the ones stuck in their universe he urged Ulquiorra to confess. The arrancar did so once the situation was resolved, and ten years later he was now married to the woman he loved and had two beautiful daughters with her.
"Maybe you'll never see the Shockwave you first fell in love with again, but if you still love him after all of that has happened then you should tell him."
"You're right. I'll tell him."
"Good, now let's put Sora to bed. I have plans for all of us."
***
"If I were on Cybertronian form not only would I not have a nose for you to pull but you'd be the size of a scraplet!"
Orihime laughed as Kokoro kept on pinching poor Shockwave's face. She took the baby back, who seemed angry that she couldn't bother the scientist anymore.
"I imagine dealing with the cassettes is the same.
"Rumble and Frenzy are equally mischievous, but Ravage and the avians don't cause any trouble. They would be good friends with your offspring if they met them."
"Well, the babies won't be universe hoping until they're a little older but I'm certain they would love to meet everyone. Kokoro is fond of you despite the pinching."
Shockwave raised an eyebrow and glanced at the baby who giggled when she saw him. He smiled back. "Very well, tiny organic. I appreciate your affections, but do not pinch me. I'm not used to having a face."
"That's something else I wanted to ask about. Have you made any progress on your recovery?"
"Other things take priority. Once the war ends I shall concentrate on that. As of now I have no returning memories, and the surgery to recover my faceplate can only be performed if we return to Cybertron. For now I stay as I am."
Orihime nodded. "You've never been curious as to why the only person you seem to trust and remember is Soundwave?"
"Yes I do wonder sometimes. He's a loyal mech and a wonderful company but it is odd he's the only thing from my past I can recall before shadowplay."
"I was thinking it's because of fate."
Shockwave knew his redhead human friend was a hopeless optimist but didn't think she'd suggest such an illogical notion.
"It may seem silly to a scientist like you but think about it. It's the same thing that happened to Ulquiorra and I.
A human, an arrancar, two completely different beings on opposite sides of a war. By all means we should've remained strangers or enemies till the conflict ended. But we didn't, and then we went to your universe and we returned, knowing well that we wanted everyone to survive, that we wanted the war to end. So we fought for that and now look at us 10 years later. If it wasn't fate who made us meet, and fall in love. Then what was it?"
She had a point. Fate seemed to have bound Ulquiorra and Orihime but would it bind him and Soundwave too or was this just a concept his original universe didn't have? Shockwave didn't care to find an answer just yet.
"Regardless of fates involvement I can tell you one thing."
"What's that?"
"I'm not wearing a green puffy wedding dress."
The redhead laughed so loudly it could probably be heard on the other room. "Fine fine, I'll leave the dress for Sora and Kokoro to borrow once they're old enough. I take it that means you won't be a kindergarten teacher either?"
He shook his head. "I don't think teaching is for me. You have the patience for it but I do not."
She doubted that. Soundwave had told them that before the Shadowplay the scientist ran an academy. Even if he didn't remember it now he had it in him to be a teacher. 'I hope soneday he'll be able to remember.'
"Okay, since teaching is out of the question, there's only one place we can take you to!"
He knew that look in her silver eyes. Orihime was plotting, and whenever that happened it was wise to be wary.
***
The twins had been left in charge of Orhime's best friend as they went out for the night. Surprisingly, their friends took them to the bakery Ulquiorra owned. The place had changed for the better since the last time they visited, being expanded and remodeled along with having more employees.
"I take it business is booming. Don't let Swindle visit or you might be in trouble." Soundwave said.
"Things have been going well. We even have dance nights as of late. Orihime was hoping you'd both like to join us for that.
Soundwave beamed at the idea, still he hesitated, knowing now why their friends were eager for them to join.
'They want me to confess now.'
It's not as if he didn't want to but rather the fear of finally having to give up hope that Shockwave would feel the same. He knew it was likely that he would be turned down, but Ulquiorra was right. It was time to face this.
Shockwave was slightly nerveous as he didn't know how to dance. He was naively expecting to cook pastries with Ulquiorra and Orihime but then he realized it'd be illogical for them spend their night out working. At least he had a music expert for a partner.
"Shall we?" He asked, noticing how flustered Soundave became as he took his hand.
The song they would dance to was slow, yet happy, he had heard it a few times when he worked alongside Soundave back home.
"I'm glad we visited. It seems that our friends are doing very well with the shop and the babies."
"Yes. I hope we too can get that rest when our war is over."
He couldn't wait. Soundwave was tired, everyone was already tired but they were close and he intended to go at it until the end
"Despite my reservations, I think I'd like to stay a human for a little while longer." Shockwave mused.
"Really? Why is that?"
"I missed having a face."
Soundwave felt his spark break at that revelation. Though he understood as he also missed seeing Shockwave's gorgeous face as they woke every morning, before he had been tortured. 'That was already 5 million years ago...'
But 5 million years or 1 day didn't make a damn difference, because he still wanted him just as much. "It suits you, and I'll confess I've missed it as well. Now I can do this..."
Shockwave felt Soundwave's soft lips cover his own as the taller mech gently pulled him closer. The kiss was like switch within him as the mere action brought back feelings he didn't think he'd ever have.
It was familiar, it was sweet, it was heated, and it was heartbreaking all at the same time. Right then and there he knew that this confirmed his previous hypothesis. He didn't just know Soundwvae before his fall but they were lovers.
"...You have waited milenia for that, haven't you?"
The spymaster nodded as Shockwave wiped away a few tears from his red eyes. "I'm sorry, I just couldn't keep quiet anymore."
"Then don't. There's a reason fate has yet to separate us. And I don't think I'd let it."
This time Shockwave kissed him, just as intensity and sweetly. It was all Soundwave had been craving for a long time.
The pair only broke away when they heard Ulquiorra and Orihime chuckling ad they observed them from a nearby spot.
"We should play matchmakers more often." Orihime said.
Ulquiorra smiled. "It's safe to say they did it for us first."

“You’re back early!” My roommate, Liza, yelled from the other side of the apartment-style dorm room. The sound of her chair scraping the floor followed shortly after, along with the light footsteps of her sock-clad feet. “I left you a plate in the microwave, in case you were hungry. I could heat it up, if you’re too tired— why the long face? What happened?”
“He didn’t show up,” I sighed as I dropped my books on the table and sank into a chair.
“How can he not show up?” Liza fumed crossing her arms. “His GPA is already in the gutter from all the other quizzes he seemed to fail before the semester even started.”
“I know,” I replied in a bored tone.
“He’s on academic probation—”
“I know.”
“One more hiccup and he’ll be off the football team—”
“I know.”
“Not to mention how you practically have to bend backward to make time for him—”
“Mhm.”
“Just for him to flake on you for the third time! I just—”
“Liza, please,” I rose from my seat and stood in front of her. “You don’t have to be angry with me. It’s truly okay.”
“No! It’s not okay!” She stormed to the microwave and pulled the cover plate from the inside. She removed the foil and pushed it back into the device, before pressing the start button four times. She turns to face me and forces an angered sigh from her lips. “He likes you, you know that right?”
I lifted my books from the table and walked to our shared room. I took in the words that she threw at me with each step and digested them. Kirishima liked me. It wasn’t as though I didn’t have an inkling that he may be, sorta found me attractive. Although I wore glasses, I wasn’t blind. At least with them on. I saw the way he looked at me when we were less than a foot apart. Shoulders practically touching as we slouched over the Advanced American History textbook. Our hands brushing against each other’s ever so often. The sparkle in his eye when he looked at me longer than a few seconds; the blush on his cheeks when I smiled at his corny jokes. His persistent tendency to walk me home, although most times, we finished our study sessions just before dusk. The way he stayed glued to my side during the journey to my dorm. How he’d carry my books on the way. I noticed it all and practically welcomed it, since I too found him attractive. The spiky redhead just had a way of making everyone swoon over him. Kirishima was genuinely a nice person, not because there was something in it for him, but just because.
The beeping from the microwave brought me back to reality. I placed the textbooks on the designated space on the shelf and fixed my scattered stationery from that morning. Liza shuffled in with a bowl of baked fetta pasta, and a piece of toasted garlic bread a few minutes later. She placed the bowl on the desk, with a fork, a can of sparkling soda, and my favorite metal straw.
“What did I do to deserve you?” I said with a tired smile.
“Helped me pass ‘Text and Ideas’ with an A-,” Liza smiled back and placed a hand on my shoulder.
“Oh right,” I took a seat at the desk and forked the starchy dish in my mouth. “This is heaven-sent.”
“I knew you’d like it!” She deemed walking to her own desk. “I got the recipe from tiktok.”
I hum in response and continued to stuff my face. After a few minutes of silence, I grab the phone from my back pocket and unlocked it. A new message from Kirishima was the newest notification from many and it said:
Hey, I am sorry for not showing up. My teammate got shitfaced and decided to take a dive into the fountain. It took three of us to pull him out. It sucks because I was really looking forward to seeing you.
Since my mouth had already filled to its brink with pasta, I opted for a tight-lipped smirk instead of a toothy one. Kirishima all but admitted that he missed me. My hunch was right: the feelings are mutual. I swallowed the pasta and swiveled around in my chair to look at Liza. Her eyes were glued to her phone, but she snapped her head up to laugh at the content on her screen. Once she was down laughing, I picked my phone up and pointed it in her general direction. Reaching forward, she grasped the device and quickly read the message.
“Don’t respond to him,” she said, handing the phone back to me.
“Why? I thought you were shipping us together?” I asked whilst forking more pasta in my mouth.
“That’s why I’m telling you what I am telling you!” Liza rose to her feet and in a split second, she stood in front of me with a sickening smile.
“I am afraid to ask,” I said with a sigh.
“You don’t have to; I’m gonna tell you anyway,” she squats between my legs and widens her smile. “That boy is already wrapped around your finger, all you need to do is pull away. Just a tiny bit and he’ll come running.”
“Liza. . .”
“Hear me out!” She rose to her feet again and walked to the closet. “Remember when I went thrift shopping last week and I picked up that cute bodycon dress?”
“Yeah. . . ?”
“Well, I washed it and realized that it didn’t have the BODY to fill it out properly.” She pulls the dress from the closet and turns back to me. “And since the Homecoming Afterparty is at the Quarterback's house tomorrow night, I thought it would be the perfect time for you to wear it.”
I eye the dress, taking in its extremely short length and strappy detailing on the front. One wrong move and my breasts would spill right out of it. But, one right move would have them fall onto Kiri’s lap. I tried my best to list the pros and cons of the situation. Pondering what I could get out of the ordeal going to the lion’s den dressed as a gazelle. Yet, all I could imagine was me twerking on someone’s son and taking him home afterward.
💘🖤💘🖤
The dress fit like a glove: perfectly tight, almost like a second skin, but very breathable. I paired it with some hoop earrings, a few bangles on each wrist, and 3-inch kitten heels. My goal was to dress to impress, not nurse my aching arches by the end of the night. The entire ride over to the nicer part of town was nerve-wracking, for one, the Uber driver wouldn’t stop staring at my cleavage from the driver’s mirror. And, secondly, Liza practically had phone sex with her boyfriend, who was going to meet us at the party. I stared down at my phone the whole time, rereading Kiri’s message and the ones he sent afterward. It was true, he was wrapped around my finger. He didn’t double text; Kirishima sent five messages in a row.
Hey, are you free tomorrow? I wanted to talk about yesterday.
I’ll buy you that weird thing you like from Starbucks.
The drink you said that tastes like the moon.`
And I’ll get you those cake pop things.
My heart couldn’t help but flutter; I didn’t know he was paying that much attention to me. I only mentioned that Starbucks drink once in his presence, quite a while ago. It had to be a little over a month ago, yet he still remembered.
The car stopped and Liza popped right out. Her 34 inch Brazilian, straight swaying behind her as she closes the door. Still chatting with her boyfriend, she motions me out of the car with an eager smile. Reluctantly, I detach myself from the cool leather and tug on my dress as I closed the door behind me. I looked up toward the mansion before me, white paint and overwhelming size almost frightened me. But, when I saw a familiar, spiky-haired, redhead, all my potential fear left my body and warmth replaced it.
Kirishima’s back was to me; he was having an intense conversation with his best friend, Bakugo, one of the team’s Linebackers. The blond was so close to popping a fuse but Kiri was struggling to keep from laughing directly in his face. I approach the porch, slow and sensual, my eyes glued to him the entire walk over. Kirishima briefly turns around to address a comer of the group, Sero, an offensive player, when his eyes come up the steps. The humorous expression on his face drops and is replaced with awe. The other two boys look in the direction of his eyesight and replicate his reaction.
“Hi—” I lifted my hand to wave, but it never made it past my abdomen. Liza appeared right in front of me and captured my wrist.
“Girl, it’s our song! Hurry up!” She said as she proceeded to drag me into the house.
“Bye—! Wait, damn!”
Liza pulled me to the makeshift dance floor in the middle of the living room of the home. She starts to bop side to side, swaying her hips in place. It takes me a few seconds to register that “34+35” was blasting the speakers. Liza twirls around me in a fit of giggles and continues to bop along to the music.
“I thought you liked “positions” better than this track?” I questioned as I matched her rhythm.
“I do! I just had to get you out of there,” Liza answered as she swayed her head back and forth. Which made her hair move in an angelic wave behind her bandeau top and pencil skirt. “Those three guys looked like they wanted to run a train on you.”
“ELIZABETH!!!!” I screamed with a shocked smile.
“What?! I’m not lying!” She gives me a bashful smirk. “You look so good, mamas! Shit, you're making me rethink my relationship with Shinso.”
“Oh my god!” I laughed. “I can’t take your ass anywhere, for real!”
The song began to fade out and bleed into “Pussy Talk” with the infamous City Girls. Liza’s soft bops began to move into full booty bouncing. Soon her hands are on her knees and she’s throwing her ass back on my lap. I press my hand flat on her back and lift my other hand in the air. She whines her waist and looks back at me as her inner hot girl is threatening to make an appearance. Shortly after the first verse, Liza straightens her back and dances around me as I bop to the side, bouncing my ass to the music. A smile comes to my lips as my favorite part plays on full blast.
“Pussy talented, it do cartwheels,” Liza and I screamed in unison. “And he pay ‘cause he like how that part feel.”
“Pussy give speeches, heartfelt,” I continued, popping my back against my friend.
“Yuh,” Liza ad-libbed.
“Said the pussy really talk like it Garfield,” I rapped as I felt Liza’s hands glide up my sides.
“It do!”
We danced around each other for the rest of the song and pulled away from the floor, desperately needing to hydrate. We practically stumbled toward the makeshift bar across the living room. We reached into the cooler and pulled out two bottles of water. We chugged the water and tossed the empty bottles in the trash.
“Only water, ladies?” Mineta asked as we turned back towards the dance floor. “You don’t want something a little. . . stronger?”
“Get lost, grape juice,” a familiar voice suddenly came out of nowhere.
Just a few feet behind the purple blob stood Kirishima and Shinso. If looks could kill, Mineta’s body parts would be staining the marble floors and messing up my fresh pedicure. The poor excuse for a human scurried away as both football players approached us. Shinso instantly wrapped his arms around Liza and planted a kiss on her forehead.
“Having fun, baby girl?” His low voice sounded sensual against the harsh music.
A seductive smile falls on Liza’s face. “I would’ve had even more fun if you actually danced with me for once.”
“You know I don’t like—”
“Too bad!” She pulled Shinso to the dance floor.
Leaving me alone with Kirishima. I turned to look at him and offered him an awkward smile. “How was your diving lesson?”
The redhead returned my smile and scratched the back of his neck. “So you did read me my texts? I was starting to think you were mad at me or something.”
“Not at you, per se,” I replied thinking of my words carefully.
“Then who were you mad at?” Kirishima closes the distance between us and puts a finger under my chin. He redirects my attention to his face and gives me a smirk.
He looked good and he knew it. He wore a simple white t-shirt and black ripped jeans. But, he paired it with a burgundy leather jacket and a Cuban link silver chain. He had a gold wristwatch on his left wrist and a simple chain on his right. And his cologne. . . it danced in my nostrils. It wasn’t too heavy or suffocating; you simply had to be close to him to smell it.
Kirishima was playing a dangerous game and he knew it.
“At the people that take you away from me,” I looked at him with doughy eyes and slightly parted lips. A look of innocence was written all over my face.
Kirishima clenched his jaw and briefly looked away. A blush starting to form on his cheeks. “Well, I—. Shit.” He remained silent for a few seconds, gathering his words, before saying “You don’t know what you do to me, Y/N.”
“And what’s that?” I asked while removing his hand from my chin and bringing it to my lips. I gently kiss his bruised knuckles, never breaking eye contact while doing so.
The redhead opens his mouth to speak but is rudely interrupted by a yelling Liza.
“GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE, BITCH!!!! THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG!!!!”
While I was talking to Kirishima, the music seemed to slip away. I had no idea what was playing until I refocused my attention on the blaring speakers. “Come on, Kiri. Duty calls.” I drag him to the dance floor.
Liza unlatches herself from Shinso and twirls around me. “I’m not shy, I’ll say it. I’ve been picturing you naked.”
“I’m a little faded, you look like a fucking painting,” I continue the verse as I glide my hands along my body. “Big doe eyes, amazin’. She’s everything I’ve been prayin’.”
Liza walked up to Kirishima and glided her hand along his chest. “Me and your girlfriend playin’ dress-up house.” She pressed two fingers against her lips and poked her tongue out. “I gave your girlfriend cunnilingus on my couch.”
Kirishima blushes a bright red, nearly matching his hair. It takes everything in me not to laugh.
I look back at Shinso and he’s just shaking his head with a smile on his face.
“Go get your girlfriend, before she devours your teammate,” I said giggly quietly.
“Go get your best friend before she kills your loverboy,” Shinso counters looking down at me with a smirk.
“He looks like he's gonna pass out,” I replied, struggling to contain my laughter.
“If you think that’s bad, you should’ve seen him when you were twerking on Liza,” Shinso jested while leaning closer to me. “Eijiro looked like he came in his pants.”
I smacked his arm and leaned against his chest. “You’re lying!” Laughter overcame my body; tears were gathering in the corners of my eyes.
“I swear to god,” Shinso struggled to say while laughing. “Then, when Bakugo called you hot. . . Eiji almost went feral.”
“Stop. . . I can’t breathe. . .”
“You better fuck him like the world is ending. . . I can’t keep stopping him from. . . fighting the entire team over you.”
“You and Liza. . . perfect for each other. . . I cannot. . .”
The song swiftly faded out into another. Yet another one of Liza’s favorites: Buss it by Erika Banks.
The young woman peeled herself from Kirishima and began walking to her boyfriend. I distanced myself from Shinso and walked over to Kirishima. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. “Are you okay, Kiri?” A smile painted my lips.
His eyes darkened and he gripped my waist firmly. “I want you. . . so bad right now.”
“How about we get outta here?” I suggested with a raised eyebrow.
“Go say goodbye to your friends, I’ll bring the car around,” Kirishima asserted with a smirk. He pressed a kiss to my forehead before detaching himself from me and walking out of the living room.
I turned back to Shinso and Liza, who were seconds away from eating each other’s face off. I tapped the loving couple and cleared my throat. They both pulled away and stared at me.
"We're leaving," I said simply.
"About fucking time," Liza replied with a smirk. "You better come back to the dorm in a goddamn wheelchair, if not, I'm sending you back to his place."
"You have like zero chill," I shook my head and waved goodbye.
"Don't forget to use protection!" Liza yelled after me.
A chuckle fell from my lips as I walked out of the front door. I found Kirishima exactly where he said he'd be: parked in front of the massive house, within a bright red mustang. He exited the car and walked around to the passenger side of the vehicle. He opened my door and helped me get in. Kirishima made sure I was buckled in and comfortable before entering the car on the driver's side.
He starts the vehicle, and places his right hand on my thigh. He gives the plush fresh a securing squeeze before pulling away from the curb.
The drive was short and sweet, averaging around ten minutes. We parked across the street from the boys’ dorm hall and exited the car. Kirishima opened my door and helped me out of the vehicle.
"If you don't want this, I could always take you home," he said as he shut my door. "I don't want to pressure you into anything."
"I want this more than you know," I responded while gripping his hand. "But, if I ever feel uncomfortable, I'll let you know."
Kirishima nods and smiles. "Good girl. Now let's go."
The moment his dorm's door closed, his body was pressed against mine and his hand glued to my waist. His lips massaged against my own, slow and sensually. I moaned against the kiss, and pressed my body closer to his. He felt so good attached to me, almost like he was meant to be against me. His searing hot kisses inched down my jawline and to my neck. Kirishima's hands slid up my abdomen and to my shoulders, he slipped the straps from the curved surface and pulled away just enough just to allow me to remove them from my arms.
He kissed the other side of my neck, leaving little bites here and there. The redhead ran his tongue against my collarbones and I swear a flood rushed to my nether regions. Kirishima kissed down and left my breast, gathering the anticipation that swirled through my body before latching his lips on my nipple. A throat my moan fell from my mouth and my legs jolted slightly. My mind continued to fog as he nestled against the sensitive bud, while happily moaning against the soft flesh. I pressed one hand against the front door and another in his hair.
Pants left my lips as I began to squirm underneath his body. "Take me to the bed, please," I begged while looking down at him. " I want you so bad, Kiri."
The redhead detached himself from my breast and gripped my chin. "Say my name, baby." His red eyes stared deeply into my brown ones, taking in every little detail of my expression.
"Eijiro," I said breathlessly.
"Say it again," he broke eye contact and gripped my waist.
"Eijiro."
His hands slipped down the curve of my rear and to my legs. He lifted limbs from off the ground and wrapped them around his waist. I wrapped my arms around his leg immediately afterward and giggled.
He walked further into the dorm room and passed through another dorm. He sits me on the extra-long twin bed and falls to his knees between my legs. Kiri unlatches my strappy heel and tosses it to the other side of the room. While he does the other foot, a smirk presses against his lips.
"What?" I asked while looking down at him.
"I'm just thinking about how this started," he said while smiling. "How my shifty grades gave me the best thing that ever happened to me."
"Stop it," I counter with a blush on my face. "You're exaggerating."
"Baby, I mean it with every fiber of my being when I say this," he leaned forward. "I've wanted to be with you for a while now, I just didn't know if you'd like me back. And I was kinda ashamed of taking so long to say something because you're so sweet and you really helped me a lot with Advanced American History. I didn’t want you to think I was using you for information or anything."
I leaned forward and pressed my lips on his forehead. "I liked you even before I officially knew you. When you beat the shit out of that guy that tried to home a drunk girl."
"I don't even remember that."
"It was during a Halloween party last year, that was when I first saw you. And I thought, "wow I wish more men like him existed in this world"."
"I can't believe you remember that."
"How could I not? You basically saved that girl's life and dignity. You were the only human being in a room full of predators. That's when I knew I wanted you for myself."
Kirishima laughs. "Greedy, little Y/N."
I shrugged.
"Come here."
I gathered the football player into my arms and pressed my lips onto his. Taking in every ounce of his kiss. Sucking on his bottom lip. Slipping my tongue within his mouth. Tugging against his collar to close the distance between us. After a few seconds, Kirishima kissed down my body again until he was face to face with my heated center. He scrunched the dress around my waist and pulled my panties off my legs before spreading my legs wide open.
"Oh… look how wet you are, baby," he kissed the soft skin in between my thighs. "All for me."
Kirishima dipped his head between my legs and took a long swipe at the sticky mess between them. A shiver ran along my spine, Arching my back, I released a soft whimper and spread my legs further apart. He dipped his tongue into the smooth canal repeatedly, bobbing his head as he completed the action. His calloused hands slid up my legs once more and hooked around my thighs. Kiri moved his hot mouth from the very bottom of my womanhood to the top, leaving a long string of spit along the way. The redhead sucked on the protruding bud tenderly; with hollowed cheeks, he looked up from my heat and stared into my eyes. I bit my lip and moaned loudly.
“Fuck, you feel good,” I arched my back against his mouth and bucked my hips slowly.
Kirishima released my bud with a silent “pop” and began lapping the rosy, pink button in great haste. My legs jolted at the new source of stimulation and a throaty whine fell from my lips. Squeezing my eyes shut, I squirmed underneath his mouth, desperately wanting to add more friction. Kiri noticed my slutty movements and began to move his tongue even faster.
“Ah. . . just like that, don’t stop,” my fingers gathered my bosoms and gave them a firm squeeze. The walls of my slick cave began to clench and release themselves at a faster pace. Tingles rose up my body, swirling against my lower abdomen, almost numbing my lower half entirely. Then, a searing sensation ripped through me, causing my hips to raise from the bed and my knees to shake. A low scream left my mouth as I felt the throbbing of my bud increase tremendously.
“Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!” My hips fell on the bed again and my legs shook violently. Kirishima steadied them as much as he could before a whole another wave hit my body and my entire being went still.
“Ah! Eijiro!” I screamed as the pleasure shot through my body for the last time. Pants left my throat and short spurts, just as sweat dripped from my forehead. I looked down at Kirishima, who had just pulled away from my spasming cunny. He had a look of astonishment on his face, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. He looked down at my wrecked body, taking in the shaking limbs, the thin layer of sweat upon it, and the scrunched-up dress at the waist.
“You sounded so hot screaming my name,” he finally said after a few seconds of silence. “No one has ever made it sound so good as you.”
“Well, grab a condom and I’ll scream your name for the rest of the night,” I replied with a smirk. “If you can last that long.”
“Oh, baby,” Kiri’s smile widened. “You have no idea.”
He walked over to his dresser and pulled out a box of condoms from the top drawer. He ripped one off the sleeve and walked back over to me. I pulled the scrunched-up dress over my head and tossed it to the side. I looked over at Kiri and he’d already stripped himself of his T-shirt. He was currently unbuckling his belt with the condom packet in his mouth. His massive bulge immediately caught my eye and I moaned in anticipation. Kirishima rips the packet open with his teeth and rolls latex down his throbbing shaft. My walls clench at the delicious sight and I could feel my nipple begin to stiffen
“If you’re still tired, we can wait a little—” Kirishima begins to say before I cut him off.
“Eijiro, stop being nice and fuck me like a slut.”
His lips were on mine within the next heartbeat. His hands roamed every crevice of my body, taking in the soft tissue and stretchmarks lovingly. His throbbing member slowly slid into me with little to no friction. He made sure to thumb my clitoris while inserting himself, just so he wouldn’t hurt me. And I swear, I was seconds away from asking him to marry me. He gently moved his hips backward, and then pushed forward again. Highlighting his first stroke. He looked at the crimson hue on my face and leaned down to kiss me.
“You are so pretty, princess,” Kiri groaned softly, as he moved his hips at a gentle pace. “So, so pretty.”
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again. Our tongues danced together as his member tenderly kissed my sensitive walls with each thrust. Kirishima moaned against my lips, as he took in every part of that union. He hiked up one of my legs and hooked it around his waist while he cradled the back of my neck with the other. He looked into my eyes as he increased the pressure of his strokes and their depth. My mouth hung open, and drool poured from the side of it as he kept up the sickening pace. My eyes began to roll back as throat moans rose from the depth of my body.
“Oh God. . .” I slurred as the pleasure increased within my body.
“Aww look at my pretty baby,” Kiri grunted as he rested his hand on my neck. He pressed his thumb between my lips.
I sucked on the digit and looked into his eyes. He moved his hips faster and my lips separated from around the finger. Pants fell from my lips as I felt his member sensually assault my cervix. After a few minutes, Kirishima suddenly pauses and hikes one of my legs up to his shoulders. He readjusts his body, leaving his hand on my neck and placing his hand on my clit. Kiri began to rock his hips in a powerful, but steady motion. He rubs the throbbing bud in a gentle motion, slowly gathering every ounce of pleasure within my body. The pace of my breathing increased rapidly, as the pool in my stomach began to inflate. Whimpers fell from my lips as I gripped the sheets underneath me.
“I’m so close. . .” I whispered through tight lips. “Please don’t stop. . .”
“You’re squeezing me so deliciously tight, baby,” Kirishima grunts as a droplet of sweat drops from his brow. “Milking my cock for everything it’s worth. What a greedy little cunny you have.”
“Eijiro. . . I wanna cum so bad,” I whimpered through pants. “Please let me cum, baby.”
Kirishima curses under his breath and releases his hand from my throbbing bud. He places both hands onto my neck, thumbs pressing against my jaw. He eases his body forward and keeps his sickening pace. “You’re gonna be the death of me, I swear.”
I sucked in a breath and wrapped my hands around his forearms. I furrow my brows and pant with my mouth open. “You make me feel so good, Eiji. So fucking good!”
“You’re mine, you hear me?” He drops his hands from my neck and presses his forehead to mine. “You don’t get to fuck anyone else. . . . .You don’t get to be with anyone else. . . .My name will be the only name you moan for the rest of your life, do you understand?”
I nod. “I understand.”
“You’re mine and no one else's.”
He pulls me into a searing hot kiss. Drinking in all the love and energy throughout my body. I hook my arms around his neck and moan against his lips. Suddenly, I felt an intense rush of adrenaline pass through my body and everything seemed to go silent. A low ringing noise sounded in my ear as my mouth fell open. I dug my arms into his back and clung to his body. Every fiber of my being tensed and my mind went completely blank for several seconds. Then, slowly, my body released itself and collapsed onto the bed. I opened my eyes lazily to see Kirishima’s eyes tightly closed and his hips slightly shaking. Once he finished his ride, his body relaxed and he lowered my leg from his shoulder. He pulled me into an embrace and pressed another kiss onto my lips.
I pulled away from the kiss and looked into his crimson eyes. “Were you serious about calling me yours?”
“Ugh. . . yes?” He replied hesitantly. Then, he added “If that’s okay with you! I don’t wanna force you—”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” I cut him off with a smirk.
“Oh, I was worried for a second.”
“The only thing you should be worried about is your Advanced American History grade.”
“Oh, right. . .”
“You miss another one of my sessions, I’ll ignore you again.”
“Please don’t! I will be present at every session.”
“Good. And you have to be Starbucks.”
“The drink that tastes like the moon?”
“Matcha latte with 2 pumps of chai. Yup.”
“And two chocolate cake pops.”
“Mhm. You know me so well.”

Ok, I'm going to say it. I hate the new httyd: The Nine Realms show. So I'm not going to talk about it. But after the 3rd movie came out and just when the show was announced, I went to a friend, and we crated a concept for the show we wanted to see.
So let me present that concept.
Dragons: Age of Pirates
A few hundred years after Hiccup's and Toothless's adventures ended after many years of ruling together as the Vikings had chosen to live in secret in a place called the High Flats.
The high flats are a collection of raised islands unreachable by boat and hidden in mist. Beautiful and secluded.
Tumblr media
The people of Berk while honoring their Viking heritage have shifted away from it culturally to not live outside dragons but with dragons as a single nation. Discovering, breeding, and training their own with new traditions and rights. Hiccup and his team are considered the great ancestors to look to and different families honor them like patrons.
The story goes that after Hiccups' death to old age and Toothless not long after, the remaining Nighlights left New Berk or "High Loft" as they now called it. They disappeared and the folklore around it became that after Hiccup they didn't see anyone as worthy as him to be a Nightfury rider.
This is where our new main character appear.
Bash a cabin boy on a merchant ship during the golden age of piracy.
He's short, a bit of muscle but without the skill to use it outside of manual labor, bronze skin, and black curly hair with green eyes. He has a gold earring and a red scarf on one arm.
(Closest I could make sorry)
Tumblr media
His ship is taken by raiding pirates and is accidentally kidnapped by the enemy when he hid in a cargo crate.
He gets rescued however when a fog of mist cloaks the ship and a woman with fiery red hair drops onto the vessel. Pirates disappear left and right as Bash is grabbed screaming in terror and thrown overboard.
Only to land in the arms of a boy no older than 14 like himself. The boy smiles and throws him over the back of his strange blue scaly mount.
"Mist Watchers..." Bash bit the inside of his cheek to keep from screaming his head off. He had heard stories of the people of the mist. If you see one you are already too close and too far gone. Granted no one had actually seen the mist people but everyone knows to avoid the area as there was nothing to gain testing them.
Bash however did scream when he realized he was suspended in the air until he felt a sharp pain struck him and he was out like a light. A small "sorry" pricked his ears as he went under.
When he woke up has was fave to face with a gray face. A big dragon that looked to be made stone stared at him. It was one of the owners of the house's Sentinel. A big friendly nanny dragon named Quiet.
Bash learns that he was taken to their home to figure out why pirates have repeatedly entered their territory.
The redhead was named Freya the Chief of the tribe and the owner of a Monstrous Nightmare named Temperflare. Her husband Ronan was a foreigner who she kidnapped after they fell in love with her at first sight. (what can I say. I love a good romance.) He is a healer and Quiet is his dragon. They have two kids named Hestia and Hiccup the 4th.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yep, these are Hiccups descendants at least a few. Freya has the same hair as Stoick and takes great pride and being the strong and capable leader with a fighting strategy of lighting her long fair on fire during battle to scare her enemies. That's how she got Roman after all and that's how she got a soft-spoken malewife.
Bash was questioned but when they realized he was kidnapped twice in a span of a few days, he was given the chance to be taken to the nearest village outside their territory. Of course Bash wouldn't remember a thing or anything from the best few week to be sure. They alluded to a dragon who's venom caused that effect.
Bash didn't have anything to go back to and chose to stay because he was fascinated with dragons.
His story goes on to him learning the ins and outs of the tribe and making friends.
Freya and Ronan become Bash's foster parents.
Freya immediately signs him up for training school with the other kids his age. Unfortunately, Bash isn't used to a structured learning environment but if he wants to get a dragon to bond with he needs to pass his tests.
Roman taught him how to read after discovering that Bash wasn't using his books.
Freya saw Bash question if he could become a rider like the other kids in class who have already become riders before he ever came. She took him for a ride and told him.
"If you give up now, you lose the right to complain when all the others fly past you. You can choose not to ride but I know you do. You've got a spark kid. No amount of getting knocked down will stop you. Look at me and Temperflare. She's as rough as it gets but I never gave up on her, now look at her."
Bash meets that boy from before. He's an apprentice to one of the senior riders named Ripp. Ripp is the textbook best friend archetype. He finds Bash funny and likes that he's willing to play along with his schemes. His dragon is a new breed called a Water Skipper. It's a water dragon that catches flying fish by running on water and using its wings to stay on top of the water. His Dragon's name was Waverunner. Waverunner is as energetic as Ripp and they often go fishing with Ripp's family.
Tumblr media
On the day of Bash's trial, everyone in the village waited as Bash was blindfolded and given a sack of necessities.
Freya kissed his forehead and wished him luck.
She wasn't sure about this and thought Bash would pick a dragon from the nursery like some. But most kids his age go through the trial to tame a wild dragon. They want it to be their dragon. Freya was no different. Bash was very angry after a few students teased him and he wanted to prove to them that he could be like everyone else. Freya tried to tell him that he didn't have anything to prove but Bash is stubborn to a fault and thinks with his heart before his head.
Bash is dropped on a random island and has to find his way back after taming a dragon there. It's extremely dangerous but every kid has trained their whole lives for this moment, Bash however is a little behind.
He has one week to find and train a dragon.
Bash has to use the terrain to figure out what island he's on, know what dragons inhabit said island and how to best train it.
By the second day, he has all the info he needs but what dragon he wants. Freya and Ripp said you'll just know. Go where you pulled too or something.
Bash found himself in the cave system where a species of cave-dwelling dragons supposedly lived. He tried to read his note written in chicken scrawl and wished Ronon was there with him or even that Quiet was there to just be there.
When night fell he had to leave the caves for safety and camped out near the lagoon.
A noise woke him up in the night and Bash saw that his supplies had been raided. He chased down the thief through the woods when the dragon turned around to growl in his face
Bash in response to the glowing purple-blue mouth readying a shot at him was to headbutt the dragon.
The dragon choked on the fire and thashed about as Bash forgot his training and immediately jumped on the dragon's back as they took off.
He and the dragon fought in the air until they fell down in the water. Reluctantly they saw to shore calling a truce before both passing out.
In the morning Bash woke up first as he finally saw the dragon.
A Nightfury just like the pictures in his textbook. But it had white stripes like bones and a spine going down its back. The head was completely white except for black circles around the eyes that gave the illusion of a skull.
The dragon almost sensed him because it woke up and immediately they were fighting again.
Between resting and eating it was more wrestling. No biting or claws out just roughhousing. They were having fun, playing.
Bash didn't know when it became a game but it did and they had bonded.
Bash named him Bonehead. Ornery, loud, and piggish Bonehead. But he was affectionate, gental and playful.
Bash got back to High Loft narrowly before the deadline as Freya and the rest of his family run to him.
The story continues as Bash has to deal with the challenges of living in a legend's shadow as the next Nightfury rider. Everyone compares him to Hiccup or mocks him for inadequacy. He does not want to be the next Hiccup, he wants to be himself.
He knows he didn't really train Bonehead the traditional way. The way Hiccup did. He also doesn't know how to communicate as Hiccup does but it worked right. When people ask how he did it he doesn't know what to say.
Some are jealous and believe that Bash is unworthy or full of himself because he got lucky. Bash can't say otherwise, he was very lucky to have Bonehead.
From here on Bash and Bonehead go on many adventures. Fighting pirates, meeting new dragons, making friends, the emotional moments of Bash's backstory, and other character motivations.

OC-tober day 6 is supposed to be "fave OC ship" but like how am I supposed to choose honestly. Hana (she/her) and Li (she/they/won't correct you if you use he) (from my D&D magical girls story) are just a really sweet couple (and they were character foils) and I love them so much. Meanwhile Polly (she/her) and Haunt (she/her) (the mascot and a minor villain for my pirate PreCure fanseries) are crewmates-to-lovers-to-enemies-to-rivals-to-grudging-allies-to-lovers-again. They were never married but they are definitely divorced.

Single?
Katsuki x Femal!Reader
What: fluff, aged up characters, children, mentioning of other ships, MANGA SPOILERS
Word count: 4.4K
~3rd person pov.~
How Katsuki is single is still the biggest mystery to the world. His friends try hooking him up with people, setting him up on blind dates with men and women. He always just takes the food and leaves however. His friends are starting to give up on getting him a partner. All they're doing is breaking peoples hearts.
''Why won't Bakubro just date someone?'' Eijirou whines.
''I don't know man, I wish I did.'' Hanta groans.
''Well, there must be someone out there, right?'' Denki asks.
''You would think so.'' Kyouka mumbles.
''The fuck are you fuckers talking about?!'' Katsuki's voice barks from behind them.
All their heads snap back as they see a glaring katsuki looking down on them as they're all sitting on the couch in the canteen. All of them try to say something, but all that comes out are jumbled up words as Denki and Eijirou make weird hand movements. Katsuki grumbles and walks away from them, not really being in the mood.
Kamuko had kept him up a lot last night. He would have let you deal with her, but you are so tired lately and Katsuki just wanted you to sleep. You're his fiance and Kamuko is your daughter. You don't want to go public about your relationship with him just yet, so he keeps it hidden. You're his childhood friend and you two have always been inseparable, so it was no surprise you two started dating and got engaged.
Katsuki makes himself some coffee and chugs it down fast. He throws away the paper cup and walks out of the canteen again, his old classmates and friends still trying to explain what they were talking about. Katsuki knows damn well they were talking about his love life, that's all they seem to talk about.
He curses under his breath and walks into his office. He drops his gauntlets on the black leather couch and walks over to his dark wooden desk. He sits down on his black leather swivel chair and grabs a file, opening it and starts reading the content. It's a report on a mission done two days ago.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katsuki closes his locker as he puts on his coat. He can't wait to go home and cuddle up with you on the couch. If he's lucky Kamuko will still be up and he'll be able to play a bit with her as well. He walks out of the changing room and to the exit of his agency. He spots Eijirou standing there with an awkward smile on his face and grumbles.
''Hey Bakubro.'' Eijirou says as he walks over to Katsuki.
''What?'' Katsuki snaps.
''Why have you been abandoning the blind dates we set up?'' Eijirou asks as he follows Katsuki out of the agency.
Katsuki has his hands stuffed deep into his pockets as his shoulders are hunched forward and his steps are heavy. He glares at Eijirou from the corner of his eyes to see the redhead walking with his shoulders pushed back, hands beside him and a smile on his face as his footsteps are light. Katsuki sighs as he looks forward again.
''Don't want a fucking date asshead.''
''But why not? I'm dating Denki, Mina is dating Hanta and Jirou is dating Momo. You're the only one who isn't dating. Don't you get lonely?''
''No.''
''Come on man. Just one date. That's all we ask. At least talk a bit to the person before walking off with the food again. After that we'll stop.'' Eijirou begs.
''No.''
''Well, to bad. We're doing it anyway. If you don't go we will never stop, just so you know!'' Eijirou says as he jogs off and waves.
Katsuki sighs as he keeps walking home. Slowly his house comes into view. It's a white, two story mansion with a big front yard and a huge back yard with a play ground. It has five bedrooms and three and a half bathroom. It has an open floorplan and is recently renovated. He walks up to the front door and opens it, softly walking inside.
He takes off his coat and shoes, puts his keys in the basket and walks into the living room. The TV is playing some random serie while you're sitting on the couch with a blanket wrapped around you as you're watching the show. Katsuki smiles and walks over, going to stand behind the couch and wrapping his arms around your shoulders as he plants a kiss on your head.
''I'm home, Princess.'' He whispers as he buries his face in your hair.
''Welcome back, Suki. Kamuko is already asleep, she couldn't stay awake anymore, sorry.'' You say as you place your hands on his arms.
''Is fine.''
You smile at the sleepy undertone of his voice. After a few seconds he lets go of you and walks around the couch, laying down on it with his head resting on your lap. He closes his eyes as he gets comfortable. You smile down at him and bring your hand up to gently pull your fingers through his hair, making sure your nails scratch his scalp slightly.
''They were at it again, huh?'' You whisper.
''Yeah.'' He mumbles as he snuggles closer.
''It's okay, Suki. When we're married you'll announce me to the whole wide world.'' You whisper as you kiss the side of his head.
''Fuck yes I will. No one will look at you with those stupid lust eyes anymore.'' He mumbles, words slightly slurring.
''I'm all yours, Baby. No other man has my intrest, only you.''
''Fucking right you're all mine.'' He mumbles as he turns over and buries his face into your abdomen.
''You tired?'' You whisper into his hair, fingers still playing with his hair.
''Mmm.''
''Lets go up then. I can't carry you.'' You giggle.
''Mmm.'' He groans, snuggling up closer.
''Suki!'' You giggle. ''You can carry me upstairs and hug me all you want.'' You bribe.
''Fine.'' He grumbles as he sits up.
He gets off the couch and picks you up bridal style. You wrap your arms around his shoulders and rest your head against his chest, feeling his muscles move when he moves as well. Katsuki smiles down at you and holds you closer as he walks into the bed room you two share. He carries you to the bed and lays you down.
He plants a gentle kiss on your forehead before walking over to the closet. He opens it and takes out some grey sweatpants. You watch him silentle as he strips to his boxers. He puts on the sweats and walks over to you with a smirk. You stare at his abs and well trained body as he crawls into bed beside you and wraps his arms around you.
He lays on his back as you tangle your legs with his and wrap your arm around his waist, resting your head on his chest as his arms are wrapped securely around you. You smile as you close your eyes. Katsuki plants a kiss on the top of your head as he holds you closer and also closes his eyes.
''Good night, Princess.'' He mumbles sleepily.
''Good night, Suki.''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Three days later is the day he has his stupid blind date with a random person. You helped him get ready and reassured him it's fine. He's wearing black dress pants with a white blouse, the top two buttons open. On his feet he has fancy black shoes. He's also wearing his leather jacket. You wave him off with Kamuko in your arms.
As he arrives at the restaurant he spots a random chick sitting at a table. She's wearing a red dress that's revealing and tight fitting. Her blond hair curled up and a few strands pinned to the back of her head. She's wearing a lot of makeup, showing how vain she is. Katsuki groans to himself as he walks over and sits down, placing his jacket over the back of his chair.
''Hey.'' He grumbles, already hating this.
''Hey~.'' The woman flirts as she leans over the table.
''I'm going to make this very fucking clear. I ain't looking for a fucking partner. The only fucking reason I'm here is to get those shitty extra's off my fucking back. So shut it and fucking eat.'' Katsuki growls as he waves over a waiter.
''No need to be rude~.''
''Some beer and katsudon. Give this bitch a salade and water.'' Katsuki tells the waiter.
''Coming right up.'' The waiter says before walking off.
As Katsuki waits for the food the woman keeps attempting to hit on him. Katsuki ignores her however and pulls out his phone, looking through the news. As the food arrives he eats his food fast, slams some money on the table and leaves. His footsteps are heavy as he walks home, cursing under his breath all the way home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When he arrives home he slams the door shut and kicks off his shoes and hangs up his coat, a scowl present on his face as he keeps grumbling curses under his breath. You walk over to him wearing one of his shirts and some shorts. A sleeping Kamuko is in your arms as you walk over to him.
Katsuki releases a breath and takes his one-year-old daughter from you, cradling her in his arms as he gently rocks her. You just watch him as he slowly calms down. You and Kamuko always have that effect on him. You go to stand beside him and lean against his side, looking at the peacefully sleeping Kamuko as she holds Katsuki's shirt.
''That bad, huh?'' You whisper.
''She wouldn't shut up. Kept flirting with me no matter what I fucking said.'' Katsuki grumbles as he places a kiss on your forehead.
''Well, you're home now and if the others keep their promise this will be the last one.'' You smile as you give him a quick kiss on the lips.
''Thank god.''
''Come, lets put her to bed.'' You smile as you start walking up to Kamuko's room.
Katsuki smiles and follows after you. You open the door to the room with soft pink walls, stuffed animals, dolls and other toys everywhere and a white crib. Katsuki places Kamuko in her crib and tucks her in, kissing her head. You also give Kamuko a kiss and lean against Katsuki's chest as he wraps his arms around you torso, resting his head on yours.
''I love you (y/n).'' He mumbles with closed eyes.
''I love you too Katsuki. Lets go to bed. You need to get up early tomorrow.'' You smile as you turn in his hold and rest your hands flat against his masculine chest.
''Hmm, good idea, Teddy bear.'' He whispers into your ear.
You flush as you bury your face in his chest. Katsuki chuckles as he lifts you up. You hug him koala style and bury your face in his neck. Katsuki carries you up to your room and places you on the bed before getting changed and brushing his teeth. Once he's done he walks over to you and crawls into bed beside you. he wraps his arms around you as you bury your face in his chest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weeks go by and Katsuki's friends keep their promise. That makes Katsuki a lot less snappy and grumpy, which caused the two of you to have some fun. Right now you're looking down at a positive pregnancy test. Your eyes tear up as you smile brightly. You walk out of the bathroom and walk over to the napping Kamuko.
You pick her up and walk to the front door, putting on a coat and shoes. You grab your keys and walk outside, holding Kamuko close as the days are slowly getting colder. You start walking to Katsuki's agency as a few tears spill. He's at work and will be until late tonight. As you reach the agency you walk inside and start heading to the elevator.
''Excuse me, who are you and what is your business here?'' A security lady asks.
''Ah, I'm here for Katsuki Bakugou.'' You say, rubbing Kamuko's back as she slowly wakes up.
''He's in a meeting.''
''I see, I'll wait here for him then.'' You say as you walk over to a chair and sit down.
You place Kamuko on your lap and support her so she won't fall off seeing as she's still tired. Kamuko smiles at you as she babbles and moves her hands around, making funny faces. You just hum and ask her questions to keep the both of you entertained. From the corner of your eye you see the security lady call someone.
''Really? What did you do?'' You ask Kamuko and she responds with some more babbling.
You look up when you hear multiple footsteps walking down a hallway and voices happily talking with one another. You see Katsuki walking with some other people as they talk to him. You realize they are his friends and smile before looking back down at Kamuko as she babbles some more.
''Hmm, good job, Sweetie.'' You smile at her as she just continues.
The footsteps and voices come to a halt, causing you to look up. You see everyone look at you curiously as Katsuki stares at you wide-eyed. You smile and pick up Kamuko as you stand up. You start walking over to them, but the security lady stops you by grabbing your free arm. You look at the lady to see her looking at you angrily.
''Where do you think you're going?'' She asks.
''I told you before that I'm here for Katsuki Bakugou.'' You sigh.
''You're here for Bakubro?'' A cheery voice asks.
You look to the source of the voice and see Katsuki's friends and Katsuki staring at you confused.
''Yes.'' You simply state as you pull your arm from the womans grip.
''Why?'' A pink haired girl asks.
''I need to talk to him.'' You smile, glaring at the woman as you walk over to them.
''Oh? Why would a woman with a beautiful baby want to talk to our angry boom boom man?'' A blond asks.
''The fuck are you doing here?'' Katsuki finaly asks.
''Language. I came here to talk to you.'' You scold.
''Could have fucking called me.'' He grumbles, surprised you're here.
''Trust me, you would be mad if I told you over the phone. Can we talk in your office. Oh, and language!''
''Fine.'' Katsuki grumbles as he walks to the elevator.
You follow after him as Kamuko makes grabby hands towards him. You giggle and boop her nose. You and Katsuki silently wait for the elevator to arrive as you hear the others whisper behind you. When the elevator arrives you and Katsuki get in. As soon as the doors close he takes Kamuko from you and plants a kiss on her face before giving you a kiss.
''Why are you here, Princess?'' He asks softly.
''I'll tell you soon. A bit more patience Suki.'' You smile.
He grumbles softly. You take Kamuko from him before the doors open and follow Katsuki as he walks out of the elevator and towards his office. You three get a lot of strange looks while walking down the hall, but as soon as the people meet Katsuki's deathly glare they go back to work. You giggle softly at his behavior.
Katsuki opens the doors to his office and holds it open for you. You smile and walk into the office, Katsuki walking in after and closing the doors. You walk over to his desk and fish the pregnancy test out of your pocket and place it on his desk before turning to Katsuki and smiling brightly at him.
He walks over to the desk confused and picks up the stick. His eyes widen as he realizes what he's holding and what it says. He places it down on the desk again and turns to you with glazed over eyes and a questioning look, as if asking if it’s true. You place kamuko on a chair beside you and nod as you give Katsuki a hug.
''Yes Suki, I'm pregnant again.'' You whisper.
Katsuki holds you tight and spins you around. You giggle fondly as Katsuki showers your face in kisses.
''Fuck, I love you.'' He says softly as he places you down.
''I know, we'll have two little people to prove that.'' You smile.
''Fuck, I'm going to be a dad again. God, glad you came here. Gimmie kiss.''
You smile and place your lips on his. Your lips move in sync as Katsuki holds your waist. You wrap your arms around his shoulders and go to stand on your tippy toes. Katsuki licks your bottom lip, asking for permission. You part your lips and let his tongue enter. The two of you only break apart when you hear Kamuko giggling and babbling once again.
You giggle as you rest your head against Katsuki's chest and look at her. Your arms move to his waist as Katsuki rests his head on yours and also looks at Kamuko. She just babbles as she makes grabby hands towards you and Katsuki. You and Katsuki softly laugh as you break the hug and he goes to pick her up.
''You're going to be a big sister, Short stack.'' Katsuki smiles.
Kamuko babbles in reply.
''That's right baby. You're going to be a big sister.'' You smile as you kiss the side of her head.
''Now we have to wait longer to marry.'' Katsuki mumbles in a sad manner.
''Don't worry Suki. We can marry in a year. Our little Kamuko can be the prettiest brides maid ever and our new member can be there too.'' You smile as you place a hand on your stomach.
''Fuck, I really fucking love you. You know that, right?'' Katsuki whispers.
''Hmm, I do. Same here Suki, same here.'' You smile as you take his free hand and take it in yours.
The moment gets ruined by a knock on the door. You snatch the pregnancy test from the desk and put it in your pocket as you take Kamuko from Katsuki and speed walk over to the couch, sitting down as Katsuki moves to lean against his desk, looking at the big wooden doors. You nod at him as he takes a deep breath.
''Come in.'' He calls.
The door opens and a total of ten people walk in. You recognize one of them, Izuku, your other child hood friend. For the rest there is a purple haired girl, a red haired guy, a blond guy with a black lightning bolt, a black haired guy, a half white half white haired guy, a blue haired guy, a pink haired girl, a brown haired girl and a green haired girl. Izuku spots you and his eyes widen.
''(y/n)?'' He asks surprised.
''Hey Izu.'' You smile as you wave at him.
''Why the fuck are you guys here?!'' Katsuki barks.
''We'll have a mission soon, Bakugou. We came to talk it through.'' The half half guy says in a monotone voice.
''Can't you fucking see I'm busy?''
''We tried telling them you had someone over, but they wouldn't believe us.'' The black haired guy says.
''Kacchan never has people over, but now I understand. (y/n) would be the only possible person.'' Izuku mutters.
you get up and walk to Katsuki. he looks at you with a raised eye brow.
''I'll be going now, Bakugou.'' You say as you bow.
''Whatever.'' He grumbles.
''Kacchan? (y/n)? Did something happen between the two of you?'' Izuku asks.
''No Izu. Nothing happened.'' You smile at Izuku.
''Then why did you call him by his last name?'' Izuku asks as he takes a step forward.
''What do you mean Midbro?'' The redhead asks.
''(y/n) is our childhood friend as well. She always calls him by his front name or her nickname for him.'' Izuku explains as he turns to the others.
''I'll go Suki, Kamuko needs to be fed soon.'' You whisper to Katsuki.
''Yeah. See ya.'' He says, a ghost of a smile on his face.
You start walking to the group of people seeing as they are all standing in front of the open doors. They make way for you and follow you with their gaze as you walk off. Kamuko starts crying as she notices you're walking away from Katsuki. You try shushing her, but she starts trashing in your hold.
''Shh baby, you'll see daddy later.'' You whisper in her ear.
As she keeps crying Katsuki sighs and walks over to you and Kamuko. His friends and past classmates look at him worried and try stopping him, but Katsuki ignores them and walks over nonetheless. He takes Kamuko from your hold and slightly bounces her in his arms as he looks down at her. As soon as she realizes Katsuki is holding her she calms down.
''Well shit.'' He sighs.
''Sorry. She's not used to this. Here, I'll just take her home.'' You say, reaching out to take her.
''And let her cry again? Fuck no.'' Katsuki says as he turns away from you.
''Come on, we can't spoil her. She needs to learn. Let me take her so you can go back to work.'' You say, trying to take Kamuko from him.
''No.''
''Jesus Christ Katsuki. Give me Kamuko right now. You can hold her all you want when you come home.'' You grumble, getting annoyed with his behavior.
''No.''
''Katsuki Bakugou hand me my child.'' You say, placing your hands on your hip.
''No.''
Izuku and the redhead walk over as the others watch with pained expressions. The redhead places his hand on Katsuki's shoulder and shakes his head. Izuku just glances from one to another. You sigh and quickly snatch Kamuko out off Katsuki's hold while he's distracted. As soon as he feels her leave his arms his head snaps to you.
''Hand her over.'' He growls.
''No. She needs to go home. We can't spoil her and you know it. I know it hurts to hear her cry, but it will only be once or twice. If we spoil her she'll do it all the time.'' You explain with a sigh.
Katsuki looks at you with sad eyes. You know he hates to hear her cry. You do too, but you know you need to be strong. Katsuki is weak for her however, just like he's weak for you. You sigh and place your hand on his cheek. He nuzzles into your hand as he closes his eyes and releases a sigh before looking you in the eyes again.
''You're right. Now go before I change my fucking mind.'' He sighs as he takes a step back.
You smile and walk to the elevator, pushing the button and getting in as soon as the doors open. You look at everyone and wave as the doors close again. Katsuki sighs as his figure slumps. Everyone looks at Katsuki confused. He isn't a kid person, so why would he hold a random kid and refuse to let go. well, the kid is not random, but still.
''She's beautiful, Kacchan.'' Izuku smiles.
''Shut up, Deku.'' Katsuki grumbles.
''Ahe is though. How old is she? One? Two?'' Izuku asks with a big smile.
''One. Why the fuck do you want to know?'' Katsuki growls as he looks back at Izuku.
''We both know you know how I know. Auntie is bad at keeping her mouth closed to mom. I've known for a while now. Anyway, why was (y/n) here?'' Izuku beams.
''Fucking hag.'' Katsuki grumbles.
''What is going on?'' Denki asks.
''Nothing that fucking concerns you.'' Katsuki growls.
''Midobro?''
''It’s up to Kacchan to tell you guys. Anyway, we came for business.''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the long meeting and some patrolling Katsuki walks home. His steps are slow and his feet slightly drag as his head hangs low and his hands are shoved deep into his pockets. As he reaches the house he walks inside and lays down on the couch after taking off his shoes and coat, his head resting on your lap. He buries his face into your abdomen gently and gives it a kiss.
''Welcome back, Suki.''
''Mmm.'' He mumbles simply as he hugs you.
''Yeah, yeah. I know. It's too early to hear or feel anything though. Be patient.''
''Love you.''
''Love you too.''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You and Katsuki married two weeks ago. It was small, but you both loved it. Kamuko was the brides maid while Kane was dressed in a little suite. Right now you are carrying Kane in your arm as Kamuko walks beside you and your free hand holds Katsuki. This is the day you'll make it known to the public. Katsuki will be named number two hero.
''I'll be in the audience.'' You smile as you kiss his cheek and take Kamuko's hand in yours as you walk off.
''Yeah.''
You go to stand in front of the crowed, looking up at the podium as Kamuko holds your hand tight and looks up with stars in her eyes, Kane just looks around amazed. His four month old brain can't really register what's going on. After a bit Presen Mic walks onto stage, announcing the basics and who is who. Izuku is number one, Katsuki number two, Kirishima number five and Todoroki number three. Now they're answering questions.
''Dynamight! Are you really single?!'' A lady asks.
''No. I'm happily married.'' Katsuki smirks as he glances at you.
The crowed erupts into chatter, freaking Kane out and causing him to cry. You let go of Kamuko's hand and start shushing him, it doesn't help however since there is still a lot of noise. Katsuki gets up and walks over to the front of the stage and to you. He reaches for Kane and picks him up, holding him close and bouncing him.
You smile at him and pick up Kamuko, setting her onto the stage as well before climbing onto it yourself. Katsuki smirks as you stand beside him, holding Kamuko's hand and softly whispering to Kane as Katsuki bounces him and glares at the crowed. The crowed quietens down and looks at it wide-eyed.
''Damn annoying extra's.'' He grumbles as he rubs Kane's back.
''It’s okay, Suki.'' You whisper as Kane calms down and slowly falls asleep.
''They're too damn noisy.''
''It's fine, Suki. Kane needs to get used to it eventually.'' You smile as you kiss his cheek.
''I know.'' Katsuki mumbles.
''IS SHE YOUR WIFE?!?!'' Multiple reporters yell at once.
''Yes, now shut the fuck up before you wake up Kane again!''

FFXIV Write Day 12 - Miss the Boat
In which the author takes the prompt literally and figuratively.
Another short and sweet one!
- - -
“Ah- Eris! Wait up!”
The sea salt of the Lominisan pier permeated the air as the redhead turned around to the sound of the voice as the owner jogged his way over to her waiting place. Standing next to her were other small groups of people clumped together, seemingly waiting for the same thing.
“Oh, Zhra’li.” Eris blinked in surprise as she gave a good once over at the man, now panting slightly from the exertion of trying to catch up to her. Instead of his usual black and dark blue attire of choice, his outfit for today was much lighter in tone: light greens and dark grays and wearing sandals, of all things. Not that it was a bad outfit, far from it (it actually looked quite good on him), but it was such a change from the norm that the au ra had to stop and wonder if she had forgotten about something. “Is everything alright?”
It was the miqo’te’s turn to look at her strangely, before giving an awkward cough behind a fist, eyes darting away towards the large ship docked next to the pier. “You’re heading over to Costa del Sol, right?”
A tilt of the head in confusion. “Er, yes, as it happens. I’ve been invited to a party there by Gegeruju, and,” she gestured toward the boat, “Apparently they’re having a pre-party on a boat, of all things. Why people need to pre-party before the actual party I’m not quite sure, but this is what some people do, supposedly.” Eris shrugged. “Rich people confuse me sometimes.”
“Hallelujah to that.” Zhra’li muttered under his breath, before snapping back to attention. “Right! About that party. You can bring people with you right?”
“I could, yes. But Campanula and Aurelia declined my invitation nearly immediately, and Kikyo is still recovering from aether sickness from our one trip to Doma.” Tilting her head, she asked, “Why-”
“Whoo! Looking good girl!” Eris nearly flushed as red as her hair as a few sailors walked by, one of them even wolf whistling as the group passed the two standing on the pier. Before she could say anything, Zhra’li turned and bared his teeth, fangs out on full display. “Keep walking, you-.” The sailors simply laughed and walked on, ribbing at each other. Only after they were gone from view did the miqo’te turn back to the other. “You good?”
“I’m fine, thank you.” The flush had gone back down somewhat. “I apologize. This sort of outfit isn't… my usual style.” It very much wasn’t, the black swimsuit and throw over were a darker tone than her usual tastes, and the amount of skin showing was also suspect. “But Gegeruju provided it for me, so I feel a little obligated to wear it.”
Zhra’li simply gave another cough, looking away again. “Well if it’s any consolation, I think you look fine. So like I was saying-”
“Miss Erissssss!”
Both adventurers startled at the high pitched voice, and Eris barely had time to recover when a small white ball of fluff slammed into her chest, stumbling her back a few fulms. Zhra’li had managed to whip out his daggers in that amount of time, but upon seeing who it was, simply sighed and put them back. “Mogweiss, you’ve got to stop-”
“Mogweiss!” Eris cried out happily, now squishing the creature against her cheek. The moogle (as it happened to be) flapped his little wings happily as he hugged Eris back, pom floundering about in every which direction. “What are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to see you, ma’am! Campanula finally let me go from training!” He gave a full body shudder clutching his pom down towards his head. “He’s scary, ma’am.”
“Is he bullying you again?” Frowning, the au ra squished him back close to her to which the moogle happily leaned into the hug. “I’ll have to go talk to him again.” The moogle simply snuggled further into the crook of her neck, wiggling his little feet as he did so. “Thank you!”
Zhra’li simply gave another long sigh, ignoring the moogle. “Right, Eris. So, about that plus one-”
As he said that, a large horn suddenly blared out from the ship, and a walking plank made its way down to the pier. The others scattered around the pier made their way over, excitedly muttering to themselves, some quite louder than others. “Oh! It looks like it’s starting!” Eris slowly let go of the moogle, who reluctantly let go and flew his way next to Zhra’li. “I’ll see you soon! I don’t want to miss the boat!  Don’t worry, I’ll tell you all about it when I get back!” She rushed over to the pier alongside the last stragglers, talking to the deckhand before he let her through.
The miqo’te could only watch in defeat as he saw the plank rise up and the ship depart. “Right. Have fun.” The moogle gave a pawed pat on his head in consolation.
“Tough luck.” Mused Campanula over the Company linkshell.
“That was pathetic.” Piped in Aurelia.
“I’m going to need you two to shut up now.”

Give Us That Energy! (Haikyuu!!)

For the first request, it was unclear to me whether you wanted the actual shipping or just their platonic friendship, since both terms were used in the same prompt, so I defaulted to their canonical relationship (and my personal favorite). (I also have to admit that receiving the #4 prompt for these two made me SO HAPPY.) This one’s short, sweet, and to the point, but I think it’s really cute. Enjoy! ^^
4. “I’ll tickle it out of you.”

“What’s the matter with you?” Kageyama snapped. He was glaring at Hinata, who looked back up at him with a confused expression.
“What do you mean?” He took a swig out of his water bottle and capped it. “I’m playing just fine.”
“I’m not talking about your playing.”
The rest of the team watched them silently, exchanging looks that varied between worried and amused. They were in a time out at the moment, playing against Nekoma for a practice game, and even though it was only the first set, everyone could feel that the team’s normal energy was off somehow. No one really knew what it was until Kageyama spoke up.
Hinata frowned. “Then what?”
“You’re acting normal,” the setter growled. “Cut it out.”
“What do you mean normal?” Now the redhead sounded offended. “I’m always normal.”
“You’re anything but normal, idiot. You’re so quiet and low energy today. It’s weird. Knock it off.”
Daichi crossed his arms and watched them closely. He knew Kageyama was right, so he wasn’t going to step in unless this turned ugly. The rest of the team followed his lead on the matter.
“I’m not low energy,” Hinata argued. “I’m just not bouncing off the walls like I usually do. But isn’t that what you wanted? You’re always talking about how irritating it is.”
“Yeah, it’s irritating when you’re bouncing off the walls at random,” Kageyama countered. “But when you’re flying around the court with that kind of energy it’s a good thing. You’re exhausting, but useful. Go back to doing that.”
“But we’re playing just fine without that energy!”
“That energy is what brings our team together to play exceptionally, not just good enough. We’re missing it. Bring it back, Hinata.”
Hinata frowned, glancing at his other teammates. Everyone seemed to agree with Kageyama. He huffed in frustration. “Make up your mind,” he muttered. “If I’m myself, you’re upset with me. If I’m not, you’re upset with me. There’s just no winning here. That’s what’s irritating.”
“Being irritated with each other all the time is what we do,” Kageyama snapped. “Don’t go getting sappy on me. It’s not my style and you know it.”
“You think getting sappy is my style?!”
“Yes!”
Daichi sighed. “Okay, guys…”
“You know what? Fine,” Kageyama continued as if he hadn’t heard the captain. He grabbed Hinata and yanked him closer. “If you don’t want to give us that energy on your own, I’ll tickle it out of you.”
“Huh?! Wait!” Hinata shrieked, bursting into panicked giggles when Kageyama wrapped his arms around him from behind and dug into his sides. “Nohohohohoho! We’re in puhuhuhublic!”
“And in the middle of a game,” Tsuki added under his breath.
“I’m not stopping until you start showing us a little more energy. We know you have it in you. Let it out, already.”
“Kahahahageyama! Stahahahahahahap!” Hinata squealed, his smile bright despite how embarrassed he was. He was vaguely aware of Kenma and the rest of the Nekoma team watching this all unfold, and he blushed. “Stahahahahahahap, you jeheheheheheherk! Let me gohohohoho!”
“Stop trying to be someone you’re not,” Kageyama said, smirking, “and I will.”
Hinata tossed his head back and shrieked with laughter when he felt fingers prodding into his bottom ribs, and he squirmed and kicked wildly in his friend’s arms, but as always, Kageyama had his height to his advantage, and the redhead wasn’t going anywhere.
“Give us that energy, Hinata!” Kageyama demanded, his tone more playful now.
“Yeah, Hinata,” Noya added, grinning as he watched the cute scene unfold. He pumped his fist in the air. “Energy! Energy! Energy!”
The rest of the team laughed and joined in the chant, and by this point the Nekoma players were definitely watching them, too. Hinata couldn’t stand being the center of attention like this, when he was helpless with laughter. He dug his fingernails into Kageyama’s arm desperately, but the setter merely dug into his ribs harder in return, making Hinata scream.
“FINE!! FIHIHIHIHIHIHIHINE!! I’LL DO IT!! I’LL BEHEHEHEHEHE MORE EHEHENERGETIC!! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! KAGEYAMA!!”
“Good.” Kageyama released him, at least having the decency to steady his smaller friend when he stumbled a little, his knees a bit weak. “Be yourself. It’s what makes you a great player.”
Hinata turned to look at him in surprise, but the black-haired teen was already turning back to the others, and the team was going back to their places on the court or on the sidelines as their time out ended. He grinned, then hurried to join them, feeling more like himself than he had all day.
Stupid Kageyama.

“Ok, can anyone tell me why we always have a new kid in the compound?”
Yelena puffed as she entered the compound a bit later than usual, and she saw her sister, Carol and an unfamiliar teenager already standing there.
She came over to join them, gazing at the new girl with distrust.
“Yelena, did you just call yourself in the third person?” Carol teased, and she shrugged suggestively to the redhead who actually couldn’t hold her laugh back for this moment.
“Ha, is it some kind of 90’s joke?” Yelena retaliated. Apparently the younger blonde didn’t get enough sleep hours last night, it always resulted in her grumpy reactions to anybody. “If so, Captain, you really need to update your comedy list on Netflix.”
“Hey,” Natasha chuckled amusedly between the two blonde women as Carol protested, “just because I aged slowly, it didn’t mean I’m out of date.”
“In case you wanna know,” Natasha raised one brow and showed her support to the blonde Captain- “She actually likes to watch The Tonight Show during our dinner time.”
-by telling their sort-of secret aloud. It’s not gonna harm the redhead spy herself, though.
“What?” Kamala finally had a chance to let out her voice, “you can’t tell me the mighty Captain Marvel, my idol, watches late-night talk shows when having some spaghetti. It’s simply out of character.”
Carol frowned, “excuse me?”
“Ugh, ok.” Yelena opened her mouth with hesitation. “No, not ok, I don’t get it. Did you just call her- ” her head was pointing to the other blonde woman, “- your idol ?”
“Am I supposed to feel offended?” Carol mumbled nearby Natasha’s ear, lowering her voice to avoid any foreseeable conflict for now.
“Um, yeah.” Kamala rolled her eyes to the much taller woman standing right in front of her, and her voice sounded genuinely fearless. “Can’t you see that? She’s Carol Danvers!”
Natasha grinned back at the blonde woman, and only teased quietly, “see, someone really has a crush on you.”
Carol blushed in the tiniest way, opening her mouth slightly but had no idea what to argue. Our Captain couldn’t even tell if the redhead was seriously jealous. Fantastic.
“So you like the name or the glowing part?” Yelena hummed, and tried to hide the little noises from her stomach out of hunger.
“All of them, I guess?”
“Oh, I got it now.” The younger widow turned to her sister, and was not surprised that Natasha had been checking on her already. “We’re having a superhero fan tour here.”
Yelena wanted to get her breakfast as soon as possible, so she tried to be nice and not to get involved in this duty. “Enjoy your day then, just don’t touch any fluffy things around here. The cat can literally swallow people, and the raccoon will shoot you in the head.”
“What? No!” The brown haired girl shouted, “I’m not here for a tour.”
“Yelena, she’s a new member in the team- ” Agent Romanoff finally introduced, and took a quick glance at Carol with a playful smile. “- another one with super power, yes.”
“…wait, what?”
“Not that kind of power to control thunder like Thor or to trick like Loki- by the way, aren’t they a lovely couple?” Kamala explained a little bit, and suddenly changed the subject triggered by her interest.
“Ugh, it’s not officially announced.” Natasha was surprised to hear the little girl’s words, a status that not many people had learned about- even in the avengers’ team.
Impressed. Yelena stared at the kid and thought, still needed her breakfast, though.
“New kids.” Carol shrugged, “we’re actually talking about tomorrow’s mission.”
The redhead immediately started glaring at the blonde Captain.
“You’re leaving for days? Tomorrow?” And Yelena tiled her head to her older sister. She’d better not be the last person to know this.
Clearly someone had forgotten their domestic plan for tomorrow.
“Well, not ‘for days’,  I’ll be back before you know it. At least that was the plan.” Natasha looked a bit…nervous, but not speechless. By her side, the Captain who’s in charge of the mission seemed to be awkward for a minute, and they shared a look of silent communication.
“Yelena, you’re welcomed to- ”
“Uh- uh, no. I’m not interested in being the third wheel in your mission date. Besides, I’ve got my own thing to deal with as well. Just remember to pick me up at 8, and feed Fanny before you leave the house, it’s your turn.” Yelena shook her head quickly like nothing’s gonna convince her, and the other young superhero goggled upon hearing some keywords.
“Wait, you two are dating? ” Kamala asked in excitement, “oh my god, CarolNat is real.”
“Well, it’s- we’re…” the blonde Captain suddenly stuttered, “we’re close, yes. That’s true.”
Natasha rolled her eyes back to show her feedback towards Carol’s explanation, and refused to make any eye contact with her sister who just accidentally sold their privacy to the newest avenger.
“Oh, I thought that was your superpower.” Yelena shrugged to the two older women, kind of feeling sorry for the coming out declaration she made for them. “Like, telling the lovebirds in a group of people.”
Kamala gave her a ‘seriously?’ look, “nobody owns a superpower like that.”
“You never can tell.”
“Ok, things got a little tense here.” Carol tried to calm them both down before they made a wrong impression on each other. “It’s time for breakfast, how about I make you guys some really nice omelette?”
“Oh God.” Natasha sighed exaggeratedly, but she didn’t deny the purpose. When Carol turned, she just pushed her sister’s shoulder and forced the younger blonde to follow. “C’mon Yelena, you love eggs.”
“I never said that.”
“Wow, Captain Marvel is making me an omelette…am I dreaming?”
“Never had a nightmare before?”
“Yelena!”
*
“So…”
A half hour later, Yelena was staring at her plate and trying to figure out why it’s not like a normal ‘omelette’ she had seen on television. “In what universe an omelette looks like this?”
“Well, it’s not that bad.” Natasha took a bite of hers, perfectly ignoring the fact that it resembled more scrambled eggs rather than an omelette.
“Stop being rude- ”As they both saw Carol and Kamala on their way to the table, Natasha squeezed her sister’s hand and ordered softly, “and tomorrow I promise to buy you the expensive tweed coat you always stare at in the display window.”
“Huh, it’s exactly why I really can’t stand to undergo a mission with you two. Deal.” Yelena sounded mockingly but she didn’t mean to embarrass her anyway. “You turned weak, Natasha. You knew it, right?”
Natasha only hummed in russian as a response (something like ‘you’d know that when we spar’ ), and grinned when Carol sat next to her as usual. The blonde Captain was finally done with cooking everyone’s breakfast and Kamala had surprisingly finished hers, only sipping a glass of apple juice.
“So, how did you meet?” Said Kamala, aka the newest avenger with extraordinary attention to the secret pairs around the base, “how long have you been dating- I wanna know the whole story.”
“Here we go.” This was the best reaction for Yelena to ‘stop being rude’.
“Well, first of all, I won’t deny or admit any statement of it…” Natasha cleaned her throat and started, her sweet butter sandwich was left on the plate.
“We’re apparently colleagues.” Carol promptly interrupted with a shrug, which made the redhead widen her green eyes in disbelief.
“I met her after the snap, and during the five years, the feelings just kinda grew on us.” The blonde smiled gently as she took Natasha’s hand, “after the end of the war, we started hanging out once a month like normal people, later on it began to be once a week as my main works in space were separated to the new-trained protectors and the Guardians. That’s it.”
Kamala was literally speechless, looking like she just got the best Christmas gift for this year.
“If you kiss her like those cliched soap operas now, I’m gonna kill you both.” Yelena did like the eggs, but obviously she wouldn’t say it. Instead, she ate it up and mumbled her statement after hearing the shorter version of their romance.
“Yelena.” Natasha raised one of her brows, reminding her who’s in charge on this table. And their deals .
“Alright, just kidding.”
“Can I take a picture when you do that?” Kamala immediately stood up and asked Carol, it seemed no one actually cared about the debriefing of tomorrow’s mission anymore. “-when you kiss Black Widow.”
Her Captain was flushed, “w-what?”
To save her partner from the short circus situation, Natasha rolled her eyes and pulled Carol’s arm all in a sudden. All Kamala could do was open her mouth widely in amazement, and tried hard not to scream like a fan who was completely out of control.
Natasha left a rough kiss on the corner of Carol’s lips, her blood red lipstick stained slightly on it.
“Satisfied?” She said with an impeccable grin, leaving the flummoxed blonde behind her.
“This place is harmful for my heart.” - the newest superhero from Jersey City claimed.
“You’re gonna get used to it, kid.” - and the former widow from the red room finally agreed with her.
“I should have stopped leaking the key information.” - the blonde Captain knew it deeply that Natasha’s not gonna take it easy on her tonight.
