Now that my twitter is scrubbed, it's about time I started posting some of my old, possibly insane Psychonauts AUs here. I figured I should start with this one, mostly because I'm nearly positive I kept sneaking vampire Morrises into other sketch pages during streams. Long story short, I played one singular CRPG (HoMM3 my beloved...) as a kid, and what started as "lol what faction would they all play" became a long term AU with character arcs and lore dug up from that game, the game that game was a spinoff from, obscure dev interviews, and multiple wikis.

is NEVER on social media. has accounts of course, but never posts on them. usually the most they do is repost things about soccer on their stories. so when they post these pictures as their first post EVER? it’s inevitable that their fans are going to go insane.

they preferred posting these pictures, neither of your faces showing. you’d both decided to keep your relationship “private but not secret” , if someone were to find out it was you in these photos? so be it. they would never dream of hiding you from the world.

they don't have many posts, but the ones they do have no less than a million likes each. their fans are adoring, so when they post a new photo, thousands of people get the notification and within seconds the post has 200k likes.

their fans are insane, and that's putting it lightly. they find your account within a minute all by looking at your phone case and finding your account.

the both of you wake up the next morning and find yourselves not only trending on twitter, but also with thousands of edits made of the two of you. AND A SHIP NAME??

so much for a soft launch.

a chronic poster. i mean literal photo dumps GALORE. they had many fans, obviously with them being a famous soccer player, but also because of how 'real' they were. they would constantly post stories in the bathroom and ranting- all that fun stuff.

their fans had no indication that they'd been in a relationship at all. which was strange because due to their openness, their fans began thinking they deserved to know every little thing about them.

they just wanted to keep you their little secret for a little bit, so they posted these very inconspicuous photos and had the internet up in a frenzy.

and thousands of comments just like that flooded their inbox.

this was fun, they thought. maybe for a little while longer they'd keep you their little secret. the thought crossed their mind as they pressed the 'your story' button, posting a photo of them sitting on the sink with your arms wrapped around them.

not a constant poster, but definitely has a social media presence. they mostly post about their upcoming games and where to get tickets and watch. they definitely don't post about their personal life, so when people log on and see a soft launch??

the world goes into a state of shock. the comments are limited, so no one besides people they follow back (most of which who already knew of the relationship) are allowed to comment.

they did this on purpose. they saw no point in having strangers question them when the caption said it all

you cannot convince me thirteen does not have the funniest fucking twitter imaginable. she posts a lot of funny shit herself but also retweets a lot of good content too. she seems like the type to get in fights on social media and win by humiliating her opponent in the funniest way possible. probably makes a lot of jokes about fucking one or both of your parents

the barbatos one might be controversial but hear me out. i think that any account he'd run in association to his work would be dry as hell. but a personal, deeply private account? funny as FUCK. i think this man wouldn't post very often but when he does, it is quite literally some of the funniest shit you've ever seen. he's ancient, too, so i think he'd be persistent. just years of logging on to tell elon musk to k*ll himself (whiCH I AM NOT ENDORSING @ THE GOV IM JUST MAKING A JOKE OKAY WE'RE ALL LAUGHING HERE) in new and creative ways

mammon would probably post a lot about his shenanigans and that to me is worth tuning in to. i think his social media would consist of him posting about a new scheme/plan part of the way through (when things are most exciting) and then updating hours/days later with an "update: lucifer caught me and made me wear a dunce hat for a week straight" or something like that

satan would post the most normally in this category but i think he'd have some genuinely interesting stuff. he'd probably use a photo-based platform like instagram (technically devilgram but y'know what i mean) and his content would fall into two categories: cat pics and the most amazing, exclusive events you've ever seen. he'll post a photo dump of cats he feeds one week and then next is him at some gorgeous exclusive hot springs on a free trip one of his connections invited him on.

mutuals by choice <3: asmo, simeon, luke, levi

asmo posts a lot about himself, but like. c'mon. he's so pretty. and he also just posts a lot of pretty aesthetic influencer photos so it's nice to see him on your feed. he posts a lot, too, so your feed never quite runs dry when he's your mutual. he's also the type to hype your photos up in the comments like you're the only other person on the platform. lots of heart emojis and flirtatious comments on very mundane posts

simeon would be fun to follow in the way that old people are fun to follow on social media. long, sweet captions on his weekly post (that someone helped him post), cute but off-center selfies with the things he cares about, funny grandpa comments on your photos-- ex. "nice photo mc... 👍" without realizing how funny that comes off

luke is just cute and posts cute things. lots of stray animals, pretty sunsets, and cute baked goods. he's even got a few rare photos of barbatos on there looking slightly relaxed. levi made luke's accounts private when he first set them up bc he's been on too many weird corners of the internet to let that innocent angel be corrupted.

speaking of levi, he'd post a LOT about his dorky (affectionate) interests. he's one of the few that would post every day on multiple platforms. there's a pretty small chance you care about each and every thing he posts but regardless, it's nice to see him so enthused and happy.

mutuals bc i'd feel bad unfollowing: belphie, lucifer, diavolo, mephisto

belphie's accounts have all been inactive for YEARS, but if you unfollow him he does get offended. he found out asmo unfollowed him at some point and started an argument about it.

lucifer's social media is also rarely active, but anything he posts is usually at least a little important, so if you unfollow he'll know and get on you about missing it.

diavolo's account is quite literally all royal bullshit and official devildom information, but seeing as he doesn't have personal social media, he still values his friends following him. if you unfollow, his feelings will be hurt, but he'll stay quiet about it.

mephisto's account literally just posts the same lame shit that the RAD newspaper account does, word-for-word and post-for-post. unfollowing either of these accounts comes off as a slight from the feeble human that doesn't care about the devildom. his complaining is always so loud.

not following + no plans to follow: beel, raphael

beel posts exclusively about food. he doesn't run a food-themed account, that's literally all he finds interesting enough to post. he rates all of his meals after he finishes, too. fun, but not my type of content.

something in my heart of hearts tells me raphael's photos are all blurry. like he just thinks his D.D.D. camera is bad when really he won't focus the damn camera before taking a pic.

Who (if anyone) picks up an auto error report when a game crashes? And does sending it (with screenshot or video) actually help?

That entirely depends on the team, the game, and the audience size. A 0.1% crash for a game with millions of players is still tens of thousands of crashes daily. Sending such reports generally helps (especially if you can add more context to what happened), but not always - in maintenance mode games, for example, there's often no one on the other end to read the report.

In large population live games like Call of Duty, there are automated systems that collect and parse the crash data, then generate reports. Because they have access to things like crash dumps and error logs, they can actually collate duplicate crashes/errors to see which issues are one off random occurrences, and which are affecting large numbers of players. These reports get sent to production, who then create the tasks to fix them, prioritize the tasks, and then assign them to the other dev team members for validation and fixing.

In smaller games the same kind of reports are generated and sent, but the more elaborate automated handling is reduced. The teams are smaller, which means their ability to handle live issues is also proportionately smaller. The producers generally prioritize the issues that are the worst offenders - common crashes and broken states - are must-fix, while other strange behavior or rare occurrences get ranked against the ongoing content update schedule.

The worst case scenario are games in (or approaching) maintenance mode. Skeleton crews basically mean that fixes of any kind are fairly uncommon. Any automated error reporting was built long ago and is likely still being collected, but there's probably no one on the team left to read the reports and interpret them.

Just logged onto Twitter to see one of Alex Kister’s “victims” attempting to drag their name and all their hard work through the mud for attention. Most of these alleged “victims” are young so I’m not sure whether they realize they’ve been manipulated by Alex’s Ex or not. But it’s very clear to most people that Ven (Alex’s Ex) skewed these young peoples opinion’s on Alex’s words without having any evidence of Alex’s actual intentions. Just for reference Alex made suggestive comments towards some of their Ex’s (Ven’s) outfits and Ven then decided to manipulate these “victims” by saying that Alex was being inappropriate towards them for simply giving them compliments on their outfits because apparently Alex had some sort of “fetish” for clothing, which is probably the biggest reach I’ve seen in a long time. I think most adults can realize that broad things like clothing can be suggestive with partners and in private but that doesn’t mean all clothing is inherently s*xual nor does that mean a person views all clothing as such. These people whom Ven manipulated are young so it’s understandable they wouldn’t be able to grasp such concepts, we can only hope they learn soon and stop dragging Alex’s name through the mud on behalf of their toxic ex Ven.

The only thing Alex was actually guilty of was trauma dumping on a minor which they were doing because of Ven being borderline abusive. Overall Alex may not be a standup person but the actions of their ex were much worse and I think people need to focus on that more. Maybe Alex can start a lawsuit or something, Ven would definitely deserve it but unless that happens people need to be more aware of the situation and stop simply going along with whatever people on Twitter tell them too.
