a vision of shadows is special 2 me i read it in middle school i loved twig so much when i thought she was gonna die at that one part i skipped ahead the entire book just to see if she lived I SPOILED MYSELF FOR THIS CAT!!!!!!!!!!!! i was one of those people hoping their name would be twigshade but twigbranch is SO MUCH BETTER ITS PERFECT when twigstar is real (it better happen. IT BETTER) the only thing i will be sad about is branch being gone.............oh yeah and violetshine is cool

Don’t get me wrong, I love Squilf. But… I don’t want Squirrelstar. I don’t want Bramblestar either. I want someone who isn’t related to Firestar at this point to be leader. Heck, Twigstar. And PLEASE no Lionblaze as deputy.

thinking about a "we both reached for the gun" animatic with ashfur, squirrelflight, brambleclaw and hawkfrost...

ashfur and hawkfrost start dating during the journey to the lake and start scheming immediately. they plan to get rid of leopardstar and firestar so they can form tigerclan again (ashfur is all fucked up since bone killed whitestorm and his mother died) but hawkfrost is insistent on getting brambleclaw to join them because of their df training (ashfur doesnt know about this). hawkfrost gets killed by brambleclaw same as canon and ashfur sees, growing vengeful towards brambleclaw. upon seeing him grow closer to squirrelflight after what he did to his mate makes ashfur grow angry and kill him. he confesses and is ultimately excused because of him claiming it was self defence because brambleclaw "attacked him for being in a half-clan relationship". leafpool gives birth and squirrelflight pretends that they are hers and brambleclaws from before he died and ashfur is furious, seeing her as an obstacle to becoming leader of thunderclan. he becomes lionpaws mentor and manipulates him into believing his "father" was a bad and cowardly cat instead of the martyr everyone pretends him to be. he gets him into the df where him and hawkfrost are reunited and lionpaw becomes more bloodthirsty. he comes up with a plan to get rid of both squirrelflight and firestar and tells lionblaze about it, to which he agrees (he knows who his true parents are). the two start a fire with the help of the df and trap his family. upon seeing that ashfur is responsible, jayfeather and hollyleaf attempt to fight him but they are attacked by lionblaze. devestated by her kits infighting, squirrelflight turns around and murders ashfur, gouging out his eyes as he burns in the fire. moments later, firestar and leafpool help the family out and lionblaze is exiled. ash still gets into starclan somehow and sees brambleclaws ghost and squirrelflight kill hawkfrost a second time and manages to kill bramble. squirrelflight becomes squirrelstar after firestars death and chases the tom to the dark forest. everything continues as normal except ashfur is downright evil, hopping from leader to leader in an attempt to turn the clans in on eachother (tigerheartstar and mistystar are killed) before squirrelstar sacrifices herself to kill him once and for all. the next leaders are snowstar, reedstar and twigstar.

Twigbranch is such an underrated and underused character. She is the only pov female character besides hollyleaf that doesn’t want kits. In the recent books she is shown to be friends with stormcloud. But does anyone really talk about it? Nope.

I want Twigbranch to be the next leader of thunderclan, but I’m afraid the Erin’s will only care about popularity in the fandom and choose ivypool. (even though she is very tempermental and rash and is easily manipulated and holds grudges and is related to firestar)

The only way I would like this to work out is if ivypool becomes leader, but then at the end of the arc she dies in a battle saving dovewing. Twigbranch, her apprentice, was her deputy and becomes Twigstar.

lore: firepoppy had kittens with sagecloud, the clan medicine cat, and both were exiled when the kits were warriors and this was discovered. one of their kits, twigblossom, eventually became leader. during their exile, sagecloud dies, and firepoppy finds her way back to the clan where she pleads to her daughter twigstar to return home. twigstar decides to allow her back into the clan, and firepoppy lived out the rest of her days as an elder.

Twigstar/leaf a lithe pale torteshell tom with green eyes rather frail and soft-spoken many cats thought it was a mistake of their late leader to appoint him to his current position and the more Thunderclan takes advantage of them the more Windclan warriors turn away from his leadership and Moleswipe a large musculer pale brown tabby tom has amber eyes proud and hot-headed the deputy constantly defends his leader through these trying times

Twigstar - A gentle and introverted tom. Twigstar isn’t a very confrontational cat, he much prefers peace to fighting, and so will often act in order to appease the other clans and maintain peace. He tends to stick to himself and often will sit in his den thinking, but when he does emerge from his den, he will try his best to interact with his clanmates and try to stay involved in the day to day runnings of the clan, and it isn’t uncommon for him to help apprentices with their jobs or look after kits while their parents stretch their legs, 15/10

Moleswipe - A proud and hot-headed tom. Moleswipe is deeply loyal to Twigstar, he recognises that he is a cat with a good heart, and he trusts the judgement of his former leader and StarClan, he wishes he could say the same for his clanmates. He will often confront clanmates he hears talking badly about Twigstar, and often confronts then and asks them if they would prefer that their fur line ThunderClan nests, before telling them to get back to work with a glare. Although Moleswipe tries to respect Twigstar’s pacifist stance, if any cat from another clan insults him or WindClan, he will often order his patrol to attack the other, Moleswipe’s image and that of the clan is highly important to him, and he won’t tolerate any cat trying to tarnish it. Moleswipe will try and advice Twigstar as best as he can and will do anything in his power to help his leader, 15/10
